3. Locations
• This is where all our scenes will be filmed.
• Most of the scenes will be filmed inside, there will only be two shots recorded
outside at the front of the house.
• This is an easy place to film, and it is often available.
4. Locations
Distance Access Cost Weather
• For me, it is a 20
min walk.
• For Freya, this
doesn't apply as it
is her house.
• For Lilly it is a 21
min walk.
• For Finley it is a 30
min drive.
The distance is not a
problem for us,
except for Finley as it
is a long drive, so we
will plan a day he is
available.
This being a private
residence we need
permission from the
residents to film
there; as this is the
house of one of my
cast members, this
won't be a problem as
she gave us full
permission to film
there.
• Because this
house has a lot of
stairs, we have to
be extra careful
when carrying
equipment.
• It isn't going to
cost us anything to
film there as it was
offered to us for
free.
• We will buy
something to eat
in the day which
will cost us about
£7 each, in total
that will be £28.
• I need new
batteries for my
camera as mine is
old, that will cost
me £15. So in total
I will be spending
£22.
• I researched in
advance a day that
would be sunny so
the weather
wouldn’t be a
problem for us.
• As that day is
going to be warm,
I instructed
everybody to wear
light clothing and
bring water.
• I have to make
sure to keep all
the equipment out
of the sun, so it is
not damaged.
5. Equipment
• For my equipment, I won’t borrow
anything from college as I already have my
own equipment.
• For my camera I will be using a Nikon
Coolpix P500; this camera was released in
march 2011, with Zoom-Nikkor ED VR lens,
focal length of 4 – 144mm, software Nikon
ViewNX 2 CD-ROM, Tilting Hi-res LCD, 5-
way VR Image Stabilization, Dual EXPEED
C2 processors, full PASM, 19 Scene modes,
full 1080p HD movies, HS movies up to
120 fps, HDMI output, Easy Panorama
Scene mode, Advanced Night Landscape
mode, Night Portrait mode, Smile Timer,
Face Priority AF, Blink Warning, Red-eye
Fix, Skin Softening, Best Shot Selector.
6. Equipment
• For my microphone I’m going to use
a RODE iXY Stereo Microphone 24-
bit/96K; With record stereo audio at
24-bit, 96kHz, Matched pair of 1/2"
cardioid condenser capsules, Metal
casing for enhanced durability and
electromagnetic interference
immunity. Includes windshield, zip

(8.52mV@94db) +-3dB @ 1khz,
Equivalent Noise 18.8 dB SPL, Signal
to noise ratio 75.1dB.
7. Equipment
• To help me with filming I will be using a simple
black tripod; It is a lightweight and adjustable
iPhone tripod made of aluminium alloy legs with
a lightweight tri-lock with quick-release flip-lock
allows easy adjust work height in 13 "to 42"
seconds and weight 0.8 pounds. Stability Design: -
360-degree rotating phone mount for portrait
(vertical) or landscape (horizontal) without
removing the phone from the tripod. 3-correct

9. Facilities
• I will be editing my video both a
home and in college; when in
college, I will use the college
computers and save everything on
my OneDrive, which I also have
access at home and so I can edit in
both places without having to
email me all the material every
time. Regarding to software, I plan
on using both Premiere Pro and
Photoshop; if needed, I will also
use an external editing app.

31. Layout Plans - Poster
TITLE
• Props from the movie to give the audience clues.
• Blood stains on the victim and on the murder
weapon to comply with the audience's feedback.
• They are both going to be lying in bed. The killer is
going to be facing her victim and smiling; I did this
because I want to create a sense of toxic love, saying
that even though she killed her, she still loves her.
• The victim is going to be facing up and her body will
be carefully positioned in bed. Again, this is to say
the killer is taking care of her because she loves her.
• The title is going to be red to simulate blood and I'm
going to use a horror font, preferably one that looks
like the blood is oozing on the screen; I'm doing it
that way to reinforce the idea of murder and give it a
gory look.
32. Layout Plans - Film
• For the vintage camera footage, I am
going to use a phone to record POV
shots. The phone will be recording
horizontally to pretend it is the bunny
camera filming.
• Then I'm going to add a vintage filter to
the footage.
• It will be recorded in POV shot because I
want the audience to feel a proximity to
the characters as if the
characters themselves sent them the
videos.
• For that footage, I want to use a light effect at the beginning and make the filters
progressively darker as the story progresses, and I want to do that to link the story to
the audience, making them having a feeling that they can see the darkness in the
story.
• I also want to use the same strategy with the costumes, the killer will have light
coloured clothes in the beginning and darker at the end.
33. Layout Plans - Film
• For the rest of the film, I want to use a subtle
dark filter to highlight the worry and despair
of the character.
• Additionally, the dark filter will set the
mood for the scenes, which, alongside with a
horror soundtrack, will create an effective
tension build-up.
• My actress will be portrayed as worried and
clueless, and that is because I want the
audience to believe her for a brief period of
time.
• At this point, the character will be wearing dark clothing, as mentioned before, I
did this to give a hint of the guilt of the character.
34. Props/Costume/etc
Pink bunny camera: it adds
a childish look to the
character, while reinforcing
the innocent personality of
the victim.
When building the victim's profile, I wanted all the
elements to link together to create this sweet and
innocent person that the audience would feel bad
for when she's killed. Additionally, it makes the killer
look worse, crueler.
White is a well-known
symbol of innocence and
peace.
35. Props/Costume/etc
I used the wine bottle as the murder
weapon because it acted as a symbol
of betrayal. And this is because in the
beginning they were drinking wine and
the bottle represented the shared love
and trust between them; using that
same bottle to murder her moments
later represent the break of that love
and trust.
The killer will wear clothing in dark tones, I
did this because I wanted the outside to
reflect the inside of her mind. Black is a
really closed colour, in the dark you can hide
things that no one suspects it's there, exactly
like the real personality of the killer.
36. Sound Effects/Music
• For soundtrack I will be using a website that I've used a lot before, and
it has great things available there, it is called Chosic
(https://www.chosic.com/free-music/horror/).
• The sound effects and the music will be chosen to reflect the mood of
the scene.
• It is very important to choose the right one because audio is one of the
most important allies in horror, as combined with visuals, creates
a sense of unease that will help me effectively achieve the theme
horror.
• For example, on the scene the main character kills her girlfriend, I
could use a high sharp sound, this will create the illusion of pain, while
also acting as a cover, because in the filming there won't be a banging
sound, as the actors aren't going to hit each other for real.
37. Script
• The dialogue will be improvised when filming.
Scene 1
Two girls are having a date night, one of them is holding the camera and filming them.
They are watching a movie, laughing and having fun.
Cut to the main character, she is in bed, the alarm goes off, she wakes up and doesn't
remember anything, she gets her phone and gets out of the bed.
Then she leaves the bedroom and goes to the bathroom.
She turns on the lights, washes her hands and gets her phone. She calls her girlfriend,
but she doesn't pick up. She then leaves her girlfriend a voice message.
She returns to the bedroom, sits on the bed and looks at her phone. She calls her
girlfriend again. A phone starts ringing. She turns to the direction of the noise, and she
sees a yellow cardigan, she picks it up and her girlfriend's phone is under it. She starts
to remember some things from the previous nights. She gets up and leaves the
bedroom.
38. Script
• The dialogue will be improvised when filming.
Scene 2
She enters the living room, and starts looking around, lifting pillows and searching for
clues.
She stops and smells something weird in the air. She leaves the living room to
investigate the cause of the smell.
She goes down the stairs.
There is a corridor leading to a room with the door slightly opened where she sees a
foot. She walks down the corridor and opens the door to find her girlfriend's dead
body.
She notices a camera in her girlfriend's hands, she picks it up and turns it on. She finds
footage from the night before. She starts watching it.
39. Script
• The dialogue will be improvised when filming.
Scene 3
*THESE ARE THE SCENES FOR THE CAMERA FOOTAGE*
She and her girlfriend are having a date night, they are sat in a sofa watching a movie.
Main character is filming them while they are talking, laughing and having fun.
She gets up and heads towards the kitchen to get some wine for her girlfriend. She
enters the kitchen where there is a counter with different bottles of wine and a
phone. She picks up a wine bottle and sees a message on her girlfriend's phone, a
message from someone she doesn’t know.
She walks back to the living room, leaving the wine bottle in the kitchen and bringing
the phone. She starts questioning her girlfriend about it, but she says it is nothing.
They start arguing.
Her girlfriend starts to walk away, the main character grabs an empty wine bottle that
was sitting in the sofa and hits her girlfriend in the head, killing her.
40. Script
• The dialogue will be improvised when filming.
Scene 4
*THESE ARE THE SCENES FOR THE CAMERA FOOTAGE*
There is a body on the floor being dragged out of frame.
Cuts to the main character arranging her girlfriend's body on a chair in a room down
the stairs. After fixing her body on the chair, she leaves the camera in her girlfriend's
hands and closes the door, leaving it a little open.
*FOOTAGE ENDS*
There is a close up of the main character holding the camera. She slowly moves the
camera away from her face. She smiles.
THE END.

Possible issues Solutions
Street noise
If the street is too noisy, we'll make sure to
close all the windows and doors to bring
the noise to a minimum, if it's still possible
to hear it, I will apply a noise reduction
when editing.
Unexpected weather
If it doesn't interrupt our filming, we will
carry on but if it does, we can either wait a
bit for it to calm down or film another day.
Pigeon noise
As the ceiling has an opening, the pigeons
go in and make a lot of noise, if that
happens, we simply have to hit the ceiling
with a spoon, or a broomstick and they’ll fly
away.
Unexpected emergency
If someone has an unexpected emergency
and they are indispensable we will film
another day or, if possible, later in the same
day.

50. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be avoided?
Tripping on equipment
I will put the equipment at a clear view and in
appropriate places, so no one falls if they are
trying to walk and the equipment is on the
floor/middle of the room.
Actors falling off the stairs when going down
Check the stairs to make sure there isn't any
objects blocking the way and giving the actress
proper footwear, so she doesn’t slip.
Cars
When filming outside, if possible, not film in
the middle of the street. If that is necessary,
one of us will be on the lookout for any cars
coming
Lifting heavy objects
The backup tripod we have is quite heavy, if we
need it, to avoid anyone hurting their back, we
will carry it between two people.
Wet floors
When filming in the bathroom, we must make
sure that there isn't any water on the floor, if
there is, dry appropriately.
Sharp objects
We won't use any sharp objects as props;
however, we'll film a scene in the kitchen and
so we must make sure there aren't any sharp
objects in the way.
