3. Locations
• Most of my content will be filmed around my house, the
majority including my bedroom, kitchen and living room.
Since its based in my house, I will only need to get permission
from my mum or stepdad.
• I may also get some shots leaving the house in York city center
and Scarborough seafront. I won't need to get any permission
to film out in the streets, but I will if I decide to go into a
business space or feature some of my friends in it.
4. Equipment
• I have booked out a Canon 600D Camera and battery, a video
SD Card and an extra battery and charger for the camera as I
am planning to do a lot of filming
• If it is available, I am wanting to use a go pro with a head
mount as it will get my desired camera shots (first person)
5. Facilities
• I will edit all of my videos inside college, using the premiere
pro software.
• College is the only place I can work on my editing as I do not
have access to the adobe softwares needed for this at home
6. Personnel
• I will be the only member of the crew as I am the only one
filming in these videos. My roles will be as director, script
writer, camera operator and main actor.
• I will be the main actor even though you will not be able to
see my face as this will be a first-person camera shot
• If I get chance to film elsewhere, my friends will also be a part
of the cast.
9. Shot List
• Your shot list should contain the sequential breakdown
of what you need to shoot for your video
• It should work in partnership with your storyboard
• It will be your working document when you film
• It should contain the shot number, scene number, shot
description, framing and action you will see
• It should also have information on performers in the
scene and other props, etc
• Shot list template is on Blackboard in the pre-
production folder.
10. Shot list (video)
Part name Type of shots used

as I check my phone.
Option 1 Two handheld pov shots, paired with a transition between.
Description:

- Turns to an extreme closeup as I lay down.
- Transitions to second video, opening on a similar shot and angle as
the previous one.
- Another mid-long shot staring at the ceiling.
- Sits up and look off my bed in a mid shot for the rest of the clip.
11. Shot list (video)
Part name Type of shots used
Option 2 Two handheld pov shots, paired with a transition between.
Description:
- Opens on a closeup shot, mirroring the end of the starting video.
- Transitions to second video, opening on a similar shot and angle as
the previous clip in the same video.
- Turns round to a mid shot looking off of my bed.
Option 2a Single handheld pov shot.

- Zoom to closeup of the door as I open it.
- Walks to bathroom, mid shot to closeup zoom as I get to the sink.
- Walks back to room, mid shot to closeup zoom as I stroke the cats.
- Closeup shot as I close my door.
- Fade to black as I close the door.
12. Shot list (photography)
Part name Type of shot used
Start Mid long shot, focusing on my bedroom. The view is from head
height, looking from the direction of the door.
Option 1 Mid closeup on the the bed with an eye mask on the pillow. Not a
full aerial shot.
Option 2 -----
Option 2a Mid long shot, focusing on the bath and sink in the bathroom. The
view is from head height, looking from the direction of the door.
13. Sound Effects/Music
• Hopefully the sound is a good enough quality on the camera
or gopro for me to use. I won’t be able to check until I am
back at college.
• If not, I will record the sound at college using an audio
recorder that I will borrow from college and I will edit that in
with the videos and sync them up with the timing with the
video.
14. Photography section
• I will also be creating thumbnails for the videos that I will post
onto YouTube as it will make my work look more professional.
It will also let me show off multiple of my skills.
15. Title video:
The first video’s thumbnail will have the name of the title
in the image in the center of the photo. The background
of the thumbnail will be a blurred image of the bedroom
where most of the filming will take place in. The writing
will have an outline around it to distinguish it from the
background. It will have subtle gradient using light pastel
colours and grey as to fit with the colours of the bedroom
but not be overly distracting from the title and photo.
Title of the video
will go here.
16. My Option 1:
My first option is to fall back asleep, so
as my background, I will have a blurred
photo of me asleep in my bed. The
choice text will be smaller than the
title as it is not as important. It will be
placed in one of the four corners as to
not distract from the image present.
My Option 2:
My second option for the first choice is
to go on my phone to wake myself up
before getting up, so as my background, I
will have a blurred photo of me on my
phone. As option 1, the text is small as to
emphasize the photo instead of the title.
Go on my
phone:
Fall asleep
again:
17. This is the choice of fonts for the titles for the
choices thumbnails. I will use the same font for all
the choice options to keep continuity but it will be
different to the title font as to separate them from
each other. The titles will also have a background
but different to the title.
My Option 2a:
Option 2a leads on as one of the choices
branched off of Option 2. This option is
me getting up and out of bed a bit late.
Get up:
This will be my colour
scheme for my choice titles.
It follows the same colours
but darkened and in a
different orientation. This is
so it fits in the theme of the
title and videos but with a
difference as to tell the
difference from others.
19. Locations
My main location for filming
will be in my house upstairs. I
know I will 100% be able to film
here. I am also planning to do
some filming in Scarborough
but I am unsure if I will be able
to, so I have a plan to record in
York if I cannot in Scarborough.
If I cannot record in York too, I
will just get footage inside my
house.

Editor's Notes
You need to identify locations and plan a recce.
What are the limitations and risks, eg distance, access, cost, weather? How will you manage this?
What do you need? E.g. equipment, resources? Mostly from college, but who do you need to speak to get this kit? What is available? When?
Look at equipment hire places, etc
Where will you edit your video? Do you need any other specialist facilities…? Software?
CREW: What is you team? Who is in it? What are each team members strengths/weaknesses? When are they available?
CAST: Do you need any external performers? When are they available? Cost implications? Will you have to feed them? Transport them?
Other personnel? Is anyone else helping you?
