" How did you use media technologies in the construction,
research and planning and evaluation stages?"

3. Google
■ Google was used many times throughout my
production the main use of google was for my
research. It allowed me to look at all kinds of
existing media in the initial stages of my
product to get a grasp of the existing codes and
conventions and once I had decided on a
concept to follow it allowed me to make better
decision based on existing media.Without
google the process would've taken far longer,
as I would need physical copies otherwise.

4. Blogger
■ Blogger is the platform in which I used to present
my work.The reason behind this was the
accessibility of the site as I could get onto it from
anywhere and the simplicity.The layout of blogger
is easy to use and shows the progression of my
work as more relevant posts are added.When using
this site it helped me to save time and money as to
have physical copy of everything would've taken
much longer to prepare and present

5. Wix
■ Wix was the site I used t design my website
on.Wix uses templates which can be edited
and customized to suit your own
preferences.This made it simple and
efficient to us as I could easily add text,
images and tabs as and where appropriate
to create my page, allowing me to continue
my house style onto this as well as my
magazine for consistency between the two.

6. Facebook
■ This was really effective for being able to get hold of my focus group. I was able to set
up arranged meetings on group chats which would allow me to be able to get fast
feedback from people and saved a lot of time compare to meeting up with people or
receiving letters. It also allowed me to get easy access of photos from other styles
pages and for ideas to be sent through to me from my groups.

7. Photoshop
■ I used photoshop to create my production. It
allowed me to manage and manipulate images and
pages to design something which would appeal to
my target audience. It allowed me to have access
to the brightness and contrast of images to be able
to make a perfect picture to suit the audience's
needs.Without it I would potentially have a less
established editing site, resulting in a poor quality
product.

8. Camera
■ In order to get the best possible images, I used the
camera EOS 550D cannon. I found this camera to
be particularly good for the quality of images and
was very quick and simple to use. Using this camera
also allowed me to transfer all photos to my
computer as the SD card can input was available.
Without using this camera the process of taking
photos would've been far longer, also I wouldn’t
have been able to capture the quality I did so,
greatly benefited me when attempting to match
real media products
