2. Adobe Photoshop is a photo manipulation
software that allowed me to edit photos by
removing the background or making tweaks to
make the photos look better.
I used this software with my main image on my
front page and the main image on my contents
page. Before I started this I was not able to even
navigate the interface but now I'm able to used
even its most adept features
3. Adobe InDesign is a software that allows me to
design and create my magazine.
I was not familiar with this software before this
project but now I'm able to use it efficiently to
create even more documents like my magazine
4. Blogger is an free online blogging service, that
allows the user to create blogs about any topic of
their choice.
I used this to create the blog where all my work is
being presented from. In my personal opinion I
do not like Blogger as the creation of blogs can
become tedious and frustrating especially when
working with images.
Before this project I had only heard of this but
now I'm able to create a blog and use all of its
features effectively.
5. Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation software
that allows the creation of customised slideshows.
I was very adept with using this software even
before starting this course.
Slide Share is an online service that allows the
user to make PowerPoint document viewable
from a browser. I used this to present my research
on my blog.
I had never heard of Slide Share before this,
however it is an easy service to use
6. Prezi is an online service that allows the user to
create an interactive presentation.
I used this like Slide Share to present my research
that I have accumulated over the course.
I personally dislike using Prezi as I find it difficult
and tedious to create a presentation, however I do
like its interactivity.
Before this project I had seen Prezi in use before
but I had never used it, however I am now able to
create presentations using prezi.
7. Lastly I used my own laptop and Pc for research
and design for the project. On top of this I also
used a few different cameras to take photos that I
used in my magazine. I also used internet
explorer and Google Chrome to browse the
internet to find inspiration when creating my
magazine, I also used it to research my audience
and other factors in creating my magazine.
