- Why is it that those who fare high in academics are often considered loners in social life? In order for us to understand the reasons for this gap, we need to understand the concept of Emotional Intelligence or Emotional Quotient
- The ability to manage one’s emotions and the emotions of others. A must have ability, An ability that requires one to inculcate and work over time, both in personal and professional spheres of life. EQ is critical to managing your behavior, moving smoothly through social situations and making critical choices in life.
- People with a high emotional intelligence (EQ) are often found to be more successful in life than people with high intelligence quotient (IQ).
- Middle managers stand out with the highest emotional intelligence (EQ) scores in the workplace because companies tend to promote people into supervisory positions who are level-headed and good with people.
