2. Research shows that 75% of participants were female, finding males who were willing
to take part in the survey was difficult and so is the reason for why there is less males
than females.
3. My survey shows that participants were aged 16-24+; most being 16-24. This is significant
as the audience we are targeting is for this age group as our trailer is rated 15
4. This question was to get an idea
of the type of people our trailer
would be attracting and it
showed that it is more accessible
for people who don’t watch films
on a regular bases and are not
always film fanatics which is
helpful as they could potentially
be intrigued to watch our trailer
5. Majority of participants
answered that horror was their
favourite genre. This is
something as a group we could
work towards as our trailer is a
Supernatural/ Thriller we could
still have elements of Horror
and plus Sci-Fi could link with
the Supernatural going against
nature and its forces
6. All people answered “Yes” to a subgenre film which works in our favour as our trailer is
specifically a Supernatural/ Thriller
7. This question was a pivotal question as it our trailer has to be effective enough
and show conventions and enigmas in order for people to go and watch the
whole thing
8. This question targets our target audience and is a more in depth question
from the one before. Results showed that no one said “No” and this was
important as the general public seem to have a interest in the subgenre.
9. Generally people said that it had to be creative in attracting audiences and leaving enigmas.
This question is hard to generalise as there are many open answers and this is something to im
on by asking people to fill out a different type of styled question
10. Dark, mysterious are things people expect to see in our trailer however it is like the
previous question and is hard to generalise an actual answer
