4. RESPONSIBIILITIES AS CEMENTING SUPERVISOR
- Cementing operations - All types
- Land, Swamp, Drilling Ships, Floaters, Off shores and Deep Off shores Cementations
using Manual and (ADC) ACC systems on any kind of Cementing Units.
- Rig up and rig down cementing service equipment on work locations to include spotting of
cement storage vessels and units.
- Pre-mixing of spacer fluids, identifying additives to be mixed for different job.
- Using appropriate data monitoring equipment, planning emergency backup equipment and
contingencies plans during pre-job preparations.
- Perform job calculations related to: Pipe capacities and volume/height math, plug landing
pressures, absolute volumes (including total water requirements for job), hydrostatic and
differential pressure, resulting forces, balanced plugs, bulk cement blending, calculations
to include liquid additives and weighted spacers, and pressures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of products such as Cementing blends, spacer fluid systems,
sodium silicate fluid system, loss circulation additives, casing attachments, float
equipment, multiple stage cementing tools, and squeeze packers.
- Understands basic Lab Test data such as pump time, density, yield, water ratio, etc.
- Simulated downhole slurry behavior using the pressurized consistometer
- Execution of cement jobs as per job design/client requirements

- Leads cementing Crews, Evauluate individual performance levels and trains Equipment
Operators in the operation of some or all of the following: cement pumping and mixed
equipment, blenders, liquid additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition
systems
- Implementation of Pre-job and Post -job procedures.
- Handle and operates HHP equipment.
- Operation of Deepsea EXPRSS cementing equipment.
- Operation of downhole tools: Positrieve Packer; Huricane Packer; Retrievable Bridge
Plug; Cement Retainer; Permanent Bridge Plug; Baker MST; DLT Packer ; Storm Valve;
Unloader; etc.
- Provide Logistics support for Cementing operations.
- Promotes Safety Awareness and Environmental consciousness, and complies with all
applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations on site.
- Ensures compliance with Health, safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and
guidelines on locations and Rig sites.
- Promotes and takes an active part in the Quality Improvement Process.

5. RESPONSIBIILITIES AS FIELD SUPERVISOR
 Coordinates and assign Cementing Supervisors ( cementers) to individual locations.
 Ensure cementing supervisors and field personnel compliance to quality and standard
of operations.
 Provides technical and operational supports to field personnel and location.
 Liaise directly with clients regarding job satisfaction and implements the same with
field personnel.
 Evaluates individual performance of field personnel and advice accordingly.
 Receive daily operationally reports from Cementing Supervisors regarding operations
and equipments on locations.
 Maintains confidence over sensitive and supports line management to achieve high
level of quality delivery.
 Ensure that all relevant equipment and tools are available to complete any given
assignment . Equipment and Crew are ready to go at all time.
 Responsible for continued training and development of Cementing
Supervisors and Equipment operators both Technically and professionally.
 Work with line managers and coordinators through appraisal and feedback
sessions to ensure that’s Cementing Supervisors and Operators are
performing up to the professional standards set and take necessary
corrective measure where necessary.
 Maintain an up-to- date services forecast addressing local manpower,
equipment, tools and repair requirements.
 Reportdetails of non- conformance and malfunctions to the engineering
team and ensure effective follow up to close out the reports.
 Contribute to productand service quality innovations and development.
 Conducts job site inspections and job audit.
 Attend when necessary and conductToo Box meetings prior to
commencement of any job so that our service engineers and supervisors
are fully aware and prepared for the task in hand.
 Ensures that’s All Personnel complied with Health, safety, and Environmental (HSE)
regulations and guidelines on locations and Rig sites.

6. Responsibilities as Cementing Lab Technician
 Carry out Lab Test according to well programme and objectives such as flow-rates,
pressure, density, losses or gas migration. Etc
 Responsible for the testing, evaluation and analysis of well cement e.g. slurry mixing,
thickening time test, compressive strength, fluid loss, rheology measurements.
 Operate different cementing laboratory equipment (e.g. UCA, Consistometer and
Rheometer).
 Testing of all cement slurries for low Temperature and High Temperatures wells
 Perform emulsion test on crude sample.
 Design mud system proposals in liaison with the technical department for the purpose
of tender.
 Quality control of drilling fluids chemicals received such as bentonite, barite,
viscosifiers, fluid loss agent, treatment chemicals, dispersants and loss circulation
material
 Simulations of slurry placement, centralizer programmes and Rheological regimes
using the CEMCADE and WELLCLEAN software
 Chemical and physical test on cement sample e.g. calcium, silicate content and
compressive strength
