Writing My Essay
Writing an essay on the topic of "Writing My Essay" may seem like a paradoxical endeavor. The
challenge lies in the inherent self-referential nature of the task, as one navigates the intricacies of
introspection and self-expression. Attempting to encapsulate the process of crafting an essay
about oneself involves a delicate balance between self-awareness and humility.
The difficulty arises from the need to strike a chord between sincerity and objectivity. It requires
an exploration of personal experiences, reflections, and perspectives, all while avoiding the
pitfalls of self-indulgence or overconfidence. One must grapple with the challenge of presenting
oneself in a genuine light without succumbing to the temptation of embellishment or self-
aggrandizement.
Moreover, the writing process becomes a journey of self-discovery, unraveling layers of thought
and emotion. Deciding which aspects of one's life to highlight and how to weave them into a
coherent narrative adds complexity to the task. The writer must carefully select anecdotes,
accomplishments, and personal growth moments, crafting them into a cohesive essay that not
only captures attention but also resonates with authenticity.
The struggle intensifies when grappling with questions of audience perception. Balancing the
desire to be relatable with the fear of oversharing demands a nuanced approach. Additionally, the
challenge extends to maintaining a sense of humility, avoiding the potential pitfalls of self-
promotion.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of "Writing My Essay" is a formidable task that
requires introspection, self-awareness, and a deft touch in narrative construction. It involves a
delicate dance between revealing personal insights and maintaining humility, all while
attempting to engage and resonate with the audience. Despite its inherent difficulties, the
process can be a rewarding exercise in self-expression.

Antigone Choices
Choice 1 The play Antigone by Sophocles demonstrates throughout its story elements
of Saint Augustine s choice of the free will by involving choices of what she
believes is morally right and not the law that is dictated by others. Antigone goes
through her journey by making choices that are questionable but substantially true
against the government by burying her brother because it is a cause that is greater
than her and is what needs to be done. After a war between Eteocles and Polyneices,
the result is both brothers perishing. Following this, Creonthe new king decides
Polyneices shall not be buried because he believes he is a traitor just because he
wanted a chance at the throne as their late father promised him and Eteocles. Upon
hearing this news Antigonedoesn t take well to it and knows she must do something
about this. This is because without a proper burial Polyneices will not be able to be
rise to the next world and will therefore be stuck and left to rot for the rest of
existence, this was her concern. Antigone has to make a decision here between
what the law of mankind calls for or the immortal law of all existence that has
created the earth and heavens, or more importantly mankind. She takes it upon
herself that the better choice is to listen to the gods law and bury her brother
because that is more important so he can live forever in the world to come. This goes
hand and hand to what Saint Augustine says about evil that isn t caused by god. On

The Edinburgh Tram System
What is project management Project management is the application of knowledge,
skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements
(Project Management Institute, 2009, p12). Once a project has been approved a
project manager is assigned to the project, and is expected to integrate all aspects
of the project, ensure that the proper knowledge and resources are available when
they are needed, and ensure that the results are produced in a timely, cost effective
manner (Meredith and Mantel, 2010, p5). In order to allow this to happen there are
several key aspects of a project which need to be carefully thought out and
controlled. The scope of a project is the work content and products or component of...

Indeed, the Edinburgh City Council could have done more to provide better
communication between its contractors as this would have diverted a lot of the
miscommunication which led to the eventual delays in the project. It could also be
said that it should have been the City Council s responsibility to manage the contract
more tightly and have constructive discussions with the contractors so as to
minimalize the risk of parties becoming unaware of one another s objectives towards
the project plan. The contractual disputes between the stakeholders and lack of
financial resources, led to delays in the project. TIE admitted that scheduling
timetables, dating from April 2008, were merely indicative and now obsolete
(Scotsman 2010). This admission by TIE gives a clearer indication as to the poor
revision and updating of the project s schedule which should continuously be
controlled when managing the time of a project. In March 2010, Bilfinger Berger
announced that the construction work would be delayed by a further 30 months,
with an estimated completion date in 2014. This estimate was disputed by the
Council, which claimed a completion date in 2012 was still feasible (BBCNews
2010). However the construction for the Edinburgh trams are still going underway
and are yet to be completed. To summarise, the time, cost and project communications
management elements from the PMBOK were chosen to focus the
Governmental Systems of China
The country of China throughout the last century has experienced a large and
significant variety of governmental systems, from historical to contemporary. From
the Manchu Empire which focused on Confucianism to the current Communist Party
of the People s Republic of China, the government of China has changed drastically
throughout the years, ultimately contributing to the country that Chinais today. It is
significant to understand that the changes made in the governmental system were
so drastic, that they stretched from the Mainland all the way to Taiwan and Hong
Kong. The beginning empires of the governmental system in China were certainly
different than the country s modern day government. The first empire can be
traced back to the year 221 B.C. in which the Qin Dynasty was ruling. The dynasty
was formed by an emperor named Qin Shi Huang, after the state of Qin conquered
six other states in China. The dynasty had a goal in mind to create an imperial state
which was unified by a higher political power with a strong economy. This goal
was important to the leaders in order to maintain a strong military power in the
country. The Qin Dynasty also wanted control over the peasantry, which allowed
the Great Wall of China to be built. The purpose of building the Great Wall of
China was to put an end to the raids of the nomadic central Asians from the north.
From the leadership of the Qin came a system of writing, as well as a creation of
many roads and other public
Hawaiian Annexation
The Overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom, which happened from January 17, 1893 to
August 12, 1898, happened because the sugar planters and businessmen wanted more
power over the Hawaiian Islands, both economically and politically. These foreigners
tried to overthrow the Hawaiian Monarchy by using force, and the Hawaiians tried to
stop the act of annexation. During the overthrow, some foreigners, such as Sanford B.
Dole, Lorrin A. Thurston, and John L. Stevens, created the Hawaiian League, the
Committee of Public Safety, and the Annexation Club to promote annexation on
Hawaii. When the United Statespromoted the McKinley Tariff Act in 1891, it harmed
the sugar industry in Hawaii, increasing the calls for annexation. At the same time,

The provisional government charged Lili uokalani for having the knowledge of

Nevertheless, their second attempt, which was a petition of 21,000 signatures for
opposing annexation succeeded, and was temporarily triumphant (Pitzer). Therefore,

Sodium Nitrate Lab Report Solution
To start off, sodium nitrate is considered more soluble than sodium chloride. To start
off the experiment, a test tube is filled with exactly 10 mL of water. With a scooper,
add one scoop of sodium chloride and put a rubber stopper on the top of the test tube.
Shake the test tube until you no longer see substances at the bottom. Repeat the steps
for the sodium chlorideuntil the solution is no longer soluble and there is still some
at the bottom. Before the lab began, the amount of sodium chloride in the container
weighed 70.5 grams. After adding all four scoops of sodium chloride it was not
longer soluble. After adding the four scoops, the container weighed 67.6 grams and
the amount of the sodium chloride that was used was 2.9 grams. Next... Show more

To concluded, the sodium nitrate was more soluble than the sodium chloride because
it took 8.7 grams to saturate the sodium nitrate, while it took only 2.9 grams to
saturate the sodium chloride.
Conclusion: 1.) Are different substances equally soluble in water? Explain.
Different substances are not equally soluble in water because each substance
dissolves differently. For example the sodium nitrate took longer to dissolve than the
sodium chloride because they are different substances. Some substances also may
not dissolve at all in water. Also, substances have all different types of shapes and
sizes, and larger substances may take longer to dissolve than smaller ones.
2.) How could you use the property of solubility to help identify the type of matter?
There are many ways that one can use the property of solubility to help identify the
type of matter. One way is to put the matter into water and shake it to see if it is
soluble. Another way is to observe the matter and see the different shapes and colors
that it has. Seeing if it is soluble in water and by observing the colors and shape one
can narrow down what type of matter it is.
3.) What were two likely sources of error for this experiment?
There are many likely sources of error that could have occured while doing this
experiment. One error was that some of the substances were spilled on the table. The
substances were left on the table throughout the experiment and it was never cleaned
up.

Allusions In Paradise Lost
The epic poem Paradise Lost is a story about the fall of Lucifer and a war between
him and noble God. The author uses allusions all throughout Paradise Lost including
divine references. Many of his allusions refer to the religious material of Adam and
eve, when they were analyzing their sins and the reasons why the humans lost their
Paradise . The author also uses many literary terms that shows sense of knowledge
and understanding. First, Milton the author of the story uses countless allusions
toward the bible. He begins the story analyzing a man s first sin, with Adam and eve
and the forbidden fruit. Of a Man s first disobedience, and the fruit of the forbidden
tree, whose mortal taste brought death into the world and all our woe (Milton). He
discusses how both Adam and eve went up against god by deciding to eat the
forbidden fruit which caused destruction and conflict in the world. He also explains
the fall of the angel Lucifer, who was once a part of heaven but was cast down to

McDonald s Restaurants
The route to fast food franchising
Introduction
When the McDonald brothers, Dick and Mac opened their first restaurant in 1940 in
San Bernardino, California, they could never have imagined the phenomenal growth
that their company would enjoy. From extremely modest beginnings, they hit on a
winning formula selling a high quality product cheaply and quickly. However, it was
not until Ray Kroc, a Chicago based salesman with a flair for marketing, became
involved that the business really started to grow. He realized that the same successful
McDonald s formula could be exploited throughout the United States and beyond.
There are now more than 28,000 McDonald s Restaurants in over 120 countries. In

This division of labor and the high volume turnover of a limited menu allows for
considerable economies of scale. For the franchisee, this can considerably reduce
the risk of setting up their own business. There is no need to develop the product or
do expensive market research. Nor will they have sleepless nights wondering if the
product will appeal to the consumer. McDonald s carries out regular market research.
3. Intensive initial training
Every franchisee has to complete a full time training program, lasting about nine
months, which they have to fund themselves. This training is absolutely essential. It
begins with working in a restaurant, wearing the staff uniform and learning
everything from cooking and preparing food to serving customers and cleaning.
Further training at regional training centers focuses on areas such as business
management, leadership skills, team building and handling customer enquiries. The
franchisee will have to recruit, train and motivate their own workforce, so they must
learn all the skills of human resource management. During the final period, the
trainee learns about stock control and ordering, profit and loss accounts and the
legal side of hiring and employing staff. Consequently, no McDonald s franchisee
would have to ask a member of his or her staff to do something that they couldn t do
themselves. Knowing this, can also be a powerful motivator for the staff.

Who Is Dennis Depue Responsible For The Murder Of
Jeepers...
While most horror movies are made up with creepy ghosts, vampires and
murderers, Jeepers Creepers was originally based on a real story. The winged
monster and other details were fabricated, but the essential story was based on
Dennis DePue. At the time of the filming, DePue had not yet been caught for his
crime. A Wife Is Murdered In 1990, Dennis DePue was on the run. According to
authorities, DePue murdered his wife and left her body behind an empty
schoolhouse. Since he was never charged, the real reasons for the murder are
unknown. Most people think that DePue s wife filed for divorce, and he killed her
in a fit of rage. He would never have been discovered, but an unlucky turn of events
led to him becoming the main suspect. While DePue was finishing up with his wife,
Ray and Marie Thornton happened to drive along the same stretch of road. As he
left, he followed them in his van for a few miles and ultimately reported it to... Show

While is it a thrilling (some might say completely terrifying) feature, fans may be
surprised to learn that the story itself might not be completely rooted in fantasy.
Eleven years before Jeepers Creepers was even created, fugitive Dennis DePue was
on the run, being sought by the police, after the body of his wife Marilyn was
discovered abandoned behind a church. And episode of Unsolved Mysteries aired
the details of the brutal murder of Marilyn DePue almost a year after her death. The
early part of the movie copied the dialogue and scenes from the Unsolved Mysteries
episode. Interestingly, film director Victor Salva credited Steven Spielberg s Duel as
the inspiration instead of Unsolved Mysteries. He may have imagined that no one
would make the connection, but the similarities were noticed by viewers. The Final
Personal Narrative-My First Cold War
Everything was quiet, masked by the thick morning mist. We closed in upon our
prey like wolves in a herd of sheep. Our Foggy cover did not last much longer, as
we closed in on the beach, but we needed that victory, like a wolf needs its supper.
Everything was resting on the shoulders of that one moment, the moment we set foot
upon the Turkish shores. That was the moment when we would know if victory could
be seized.

Quickly we had pushed the Turks back, but many men still lost their lives.
The tables had turned, but only for a short while. More Turks would arrive, and
our chances of success were slim. My wound was worsening, and I was to be

devastation that is war. I was being carried back to the waters to be taken away,
even, though the imminent threat of danger still lurked, my mind was focused
elsewhere. All I could think about was our great sacrifice, the sacrifice of my
brothers, and comrades. I hope our sacrifice was not in

Abstract
There are many benefits for jail diversionary programs in the state of Kentucky.
Nonviolent offenders, family members, judicial systems, and the jails can benefit
from keeping these people out of jail and in society.
I was surprised to find, during my research very few negatives to these programs
around the country.

b.Consequences of Naming Ms. Dutton as the Sole Beneficiary When the sole

how the account must be distributed is dependent upon whether the owner has

distributions were required to begin, the spouse is provided with three options as to
how the distributions will occur. I will discuss each option below and provide an

Fanon Identity
This is an insightful chapter about finding identity in a white world. Fanon goes
through what appears to be a crisis of identity when faced with the other . We see
this happening at the beginning of the chapter with the first three words being
Look, a Negro . Fanon thus began to know himself by how he thought the other
saw/understood him. He stepped outside of himself into, first the third person, but
later in a triple person. This caused him to question his own self image as well as to
question what it means to be black and the social structures that exist in a white
supremacist society. Fanon wrote about the unreasonable notion of judging and
discriminating others based on the colour of their skin colour prejudice. He felt
trapped under the fact that the white person had fixed an identity onto him. As
Fanon was creating himself, these stereotypes were both untrue and stuck in time.
The fixed identity of the black man was not part of his reality. As the chapter goes
on, we see that this objecthood was crushing him. It was reducing him to feeling
inferior but also nonexistent (p. 25). As if he is there, as an object, with the mere
purpose of elevating the status of the white person. All he wants is to be free to exist

experience. He wants... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

people like, The Black Lives Matter activist movement are so important. Such
movements, I believe, would have the support of Frantz Fanon. They rally against
racial violence and raise awareness on the lived experiences of black
Darkness At Noon By Arthur Koestler
Darkness at Noon, written by British novelist Arthur Koestler in 1940, is a criticism
of Stalinism and the methods used by the Communist Party in the USSR. The novel
was set in 1938 during the Stalinist Great Purge and Moscow show trials. Even
though the story depicts actual occurrences, it does not specifically name either
Russia or the USSR, but the characters do have Russian names while other generic
terms are used to depict individuals and associations. For instance, the Soviet
government is alluded to as the Party and Nazi Germany is alluded to as the
Dictatorship. Joseph Stalin, a terrorizing dictator, is represented by Number One. The
novel is a strong and moving picture of a Communist revolutionary caught up in the
terror... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is important in the understanding of anti vivisection morality and grammatical
fiction to also understand the Russia in which Rubashov was living. In the 1930s,
Russia was a communist country following principles based on the ideas of Karl
Marx. Marx believed that at some point in time, all societies end up being
communist which can only be accomplished through revolution. In the early
1900s, Russian was governed by the Bolshevik party led by Vladimir Lenon.
Stalin came into power after Lenin died and shortly thereafter, he began executing
all those who he believed posed some kind of threat to his power. In Darkness at
Noon, this is exactly what happened to the protagonist, Nicolas Rubashov. He was
an elite in the Party and was there as Number One rose to power and later became a
victim during the Moscow purges. The power that Number One, in reality Stalin,
wielded, had been seen before and since his time in leaders such as Cuba s Castro
and North Korea s Kim II Sung. Both followed similar paths to Stalin in eliminating
all opposition and threats to their power. Number One, like Stalin, got rid of anyone
who could possibly threaten him and take over. With that thought in mind, we are
back to looking at how Arthur Koestler portrayed the character of Rubashov as a
vehicle to illustrate the struggle between the ideas of the party and of the individual.
The conspicuous disagreement of the Communist Party is the contention between
Benefits Of Temporary Visa Programs
Over the past few decades, the American workforce has been on the decline. As
many of the previous generations start to retire and leave the workforce so does
their skills, something American companies are having problems replacing. Up
till the 1970 s the American workforce saw the number of unskilled workers
decline with the number of skilled workers increasing. In the 1970 s however, this
trend stagnated and has held constant. With individuals aged 55 59 years getting
ready to retire the American workforce is about to lose a large portion of its skilled
workers. This puts American companies in a very precarious position, how do
these companies replace these workers? Some companies are moving their
operations to places where the number of skilled workers is steadily increasing.
Most companies, however, take advantage of temporary visa programs like H 1B.
This visa program allows these companies to bring in skilled workers as non
immigrants to work in the United Statesfor three years, up to six with a renewal.
Currently, the H 1B program allows for 65,000 foreign workers with an additional
20,000 visas set aside for individuals pursuing doctorate degrees. Additionally,
universities are allowed an unlimited number of visas for individuals pursuing
bachelor s degrees. In order to apply for this visa, a foreign workermust have already
been offered a position and actually it is their employer who applies for the visa. Due
to the number of applicants in recent years the State
Human Impact On The Water Cycle
1. What are the most considerable impacts that you make? Some of the biggest
impacts that humans make on the water cycle are direct, indirect, cumulative, and
induced impacts. A direct impact would be the fact that we rely on the consumption
of fresh water for sustenance and maintaining personal hygiene. An indirect impact
would be that our food is grown using chemical inputs, (including natural chemicals
fertilizers), which results in the discharge of chemicals and nutrients that leach into
groundwater, and underground aquifers. A cumulative impact would be the combined
impact of our past, present, and future on the environment. And lastly an induced
impact, such as a lake that increases in toxicity due to a landfill that was created.
With this in mind, the most considerable impacts that I personally make would be; i.)
The direct impact from consuming water (retrieved from a fresh water supply usually
sourced from underground aquifers, or natural fresh water springs.) ii.) The indirect
impact from consuming electricity (15% of which is sourced from hydroelectric
dams in the state of California.) iii.) The cumulative impact of the total amount of
water that I have used, use now, and will need to sue in the future. And, iv.) The
amount of water depletion from those underground aquifers and fresh water supplies
due to the aforementioned impacts.
2. How might it change your life if you were to reduce your impacts? What would you

Fire Island remained in the Smith family up until 1900. Prior to 1900 there were
no year round residents on the Island with the exception of the Lighthouse keeper
and a few fish factory workers and a handful of squatters. Other than the Surf Hotel
there were only a few buildings that were used during the summer as bars and
restaurants for those who would sail across the bay for a day at the beach and the
occasional clambake. The first large house ever to be built was constructed in
1795 in Cherry Grove by Jeremiah Smith, Smith was believed to have set fires to
lure ships to sand bars just off shore and kill the crews The Surf Hotel which was
located just east of the Lighthouse was an expansive building built on 120 acres of
land that David Sammis owned, or so he thought a battle over the ownership of
this land went on for years in court with Sammis winning. Sammis built the hotel in
1856 and by 1880 the hotel boasted rooms for 1500 guests. The Surf was host to
many politically connected players in government be it local, city, state, and some
federal, as well as the well off from the region. The Southside Rail Road soon to be
known as the Long Island Rail Road came to Babylon in 1867 and the town was
dubbed the gateway to Fire Island, which has since been bestowed on the town of
Bay Shore. The guests of the hotel would take a stage coach for the four mile
journey to the Bay Shore docks. It is assumed by a

new poetical and literary movements that arose. This was due to the Guelfi Party s
split into two: those in favor of the pope and those in favor of the emperor. In
addition, the new poetical movement that came about was called the Stilnovo , and
was basically a style where poets would discuss their feelings of love and theorize
about love.
3. Dante s wife, Gemma Donati, does not have as large an influence on his work as
Beatrice Portinari, his first love. Many of Dante s poems in the Vita Nuova are based
on his love for Beatrice and the passion that he feels for her.
4. Dante held the occupations of a patrician in Florence, a poet and author in
Florence, a soldier at the battles of Sienese and Campaldino, a student at the
convents of Santa Croce and Santa Maria Novella, a secretary to Scarpetta Ordelaffi,
an ambassador to Venice, Rome and San Gimignano, a magistrate in Florence, and a
politician in Florence.
5. Dante belonged to the political party Guelphi , which was the most prominent in
Florence and the surrounding areas. When the Guelphi split, Dante became a white

Argumentative Essay On The Emoji Movie
Introduction: In the past few weeks there has been great backlash on a movie that
had been released called The Emoji Movie . Megan Garber, a staff writer at The
Atlantic situated in Washington releases an article on why The Emoji movie fails.
The goal I want to achieve by writing this essay is to identify how the author builds
the argument of the topic using different rhetorical strategies and check if the
author established solid credible evidence to validate the arguments she made.
Summary and Description of Rhetorical Situation: The article being discussed was
released on August 4,2017 shortly after the release of the movie on July 28, 2017.
Megan writes this text to explain the problems with the movie and later on
supporting her arguments by using related examples and statistics that line up
with the points she mentions in her article. The reason she uses the Internet as her
platform is to attract young readers who are users of emojis and technology and
may have watched The Emoji Movie . Firstly, she begins by explaining how the
producers of movies such as Toy Story and The Lego Movie take inanimate objects
and discovers a parallel world to ours and injects a story into them. On the other
hand, The Emoji Movie attempts to create a story line; however, it ends up
becoming a platform for promoting applications used by the majority of people in
this generation. This dissatisfaction is shown statistically by the ratings on Rotten
Tomatoes, which are currently at a 0% approval rate and an overall low score of
7%. Furthermore, Megan shows how emojis are not just doodles rather tools that
are used for means of communication, as it is a universal way for people to interact
with each other. Emojis are said to affect the way people interact in day to day
communication and how effective people connect. The text mentions that some
people believed that the reason for The Emoji Movies failure was due to its conflict
with the book The Emoji Code written by Vyvyan Evans. The Emoji Code talks
about the reasons that emojis have become so famous by analyzing certain aspects
such as the study of language, the study of mind and behavior and the study of
learning and thought. It is stated that The Emoji Code

When The Worlds Collide
All ancient civilisations have contributed in some way to the development of modern
society. with these words of Dr Joyce Tyldesley I believe the main thought of
documentary When the Worlds Collide written by Carl Byker and Ruben Martinez
can be worded.
The film presents the moment of the discovery of America by Spaniards and the
following years, focusing mainly on the cultural aspects that underwent changes in
that time. It shows the way various elements from both civilizations merged and
intertwined to work as one new entity. The documentary also illustrates the clash of
the New World and the Old World with the effects on both sides, the most prominent
one being the creation of a new culture the Mestizo culture, which is the mix ... Show

When the Romans took over Greece, they also took over the Greek culture and, to
a small degree, language in the process of Hellenisation . The Roman religion was
created by copying the religion of the Greeks, with the exception of the names of
the gods and goddesses and some other details. Other than that, the Romans also
adopted the Greek architectural and literary style. As of other countries that were
conquered by Rome, the Romans also took the way of building ships and the
alphabet in an altered form from Phoenicia. In all of the countries that the Romans
conquered they would build roads for their armies to move quickly. Roman roads
were so tough and well built that many of them have lasted in good condition even
until now; the famous oldest road Via Appia that leads from Rome to Naples is still
in use . Moreover, the Romans built numerous cities, among which are Vienna ,
London and Paris . Had Rome not conquered so many countries, the modern world
would have looked entirely different. Rome had an enormous input in shaping of the
European culture. Because Rome invaded other lands and created an enormous

Task 4 Cash Flow Forecast and possible finance options for the purchase of fixed
assets AO4 amp; 5
Introduction
In this task I will be completing a cash flow forecast for the six months of trading by
using the figures provided in the case study. Then I will recommend to my mum that
which option to choose and will state the reasons of choosing the particular option, at
the end of this task.
Cash flow forecast
Cash flow forecast estimate the timing and amounts of cash inflows and outflows
over a specified period of time, usually one year. It indicates to a business that
whether they need to borrow, how much, when, and how it will repay the loan. A
cash flow forecast will only ever be as good as the quality of the predictions ... Show

This is possible because the cash flow forecast will highlight the reasons of how
liquidity problems may occur in place such as it could be because it has been
unable to collect what it is owed regularly and on time. Also it could be that the
business may has purchased too much stock which could be out of date, damaged or
obsolete, therefore this may decreased the ability of earning money in the future.
It indicates to the business that when it will have insufficient funds to pay its
immediate debts, so that the business could take action accordingly and it can be
done either by setting up the amount limitation of credit offered to customers or if
the business is holding too much stock then they can try special offers such as buy
one get one free, a sale, etc.
* Obtain short term funding the cash flow forecast will illustrate potential problems
to the management such that if the business have insufficient funds to meet its
immediate debts in order to arrange short term finance to cover this period of time.
This could involve the business negotiating a bank overdraft, which will be much
cheaper if pre arranged with the bank. If this problem occurs then even the owner
may wish to loan the business some funds to cover the shortfall.
* Adjust cost base a cash flow forecast illustrates the estimated expenditure of a
business over a set period of
Primo Levi Survival in Auschwitz
EXAM QUESTION 1 PART A Survival in Auschwitz written by Primo Levi is a
first hand description of the atrocities which took place in the Nazi concentration
camp Auschwitz. The book provides an explicit depiction of camp life: the squalor,
the insufficient food supply, the seemingly endless labour, cramped living space, and
the barter based economy which the prisoners lived. Levi through use of his simple
yet powerful words outlined the motive behind Auschwitz, the tactical
dehumanization and extermination of Jews. This paper will discuss experiences and
reactions of Jews who labored in Auschwitz, and elaborate on the pre Auschwitz
experiences of Jews who were deported to Auschwitz and gassed to death on their
arrival, which had not been... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Levi recalled it was too tiring ... to remember and to think. It was better not to
think . The process of belittlement worked until men inside the camp had no value
for their own life, or were simply too exhausted to resist. PART BThose who were
murdered upon arrival at Auschwitz were for the most part composed of the elderly,
ill, women, and children. Most of these people were rounded up from over crowded
Jewish ghettos through out Europe. The Lodz, Warsaw, and Krakow ghettos alone
held roughly 700,000 thousand Jews. Every day deportations to concentration camps
and other ghettos, and random murders took place. Major food shortages emerged
within the ghettos alongside epidemics, and people were dropping dead of hunger
and disease in the streets. SS Sturmbanfuhrer Hoppner proposed a more humane way
of exterminating Jews, rather than letting them starve to death he had gas vans in
mind. The vans were tested north of the Lodz ghetto in Chelmno, and they had
proved to be an effective and humane way of extermination. These mobile killing
units are estimated to have killed 150,000 Jews. The deporting of people into
extermination camps was carried out by cramming people into cattle carts attached to
trains.
1900-1814 Water Transportation
Until the invention of railways in 1814 water transportation was the preferred
method. Starting with the use of natural bodies of water and expanding to man made
ones. Such as the Erie canal that connects the great lakes to the Atlantic Ocean with
the Hudson river. The economic difference made by this canalwas so large the cost of
a bag of flour went from $120 to $6. This change in transport made New York citygo
from the 5th most active maritime port to 1st by 1850. These changes to the
American landscape vastly helped economic quality, that would better the American
people on a short term basis.
By 1900 canals like the Chicago Sanitary and Ship canal had also been used to help
created more trade and transportation of American products.
The Suicide Car And Truck Bombings
I chose the August 1998 simultaneous suicide car and truck bombings of the U.S.
embassies in Nairobi and Tanzania because I believe that not only were the attacks a
precursor of how future terrorist attacks were to be planned and executed, but it was
also the first successful terrorist strike by the al Qaedanetwork. The first bombing
occurred at the American Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya on August 7, 1998. The
attack killed 213, injuring thousands over 150 people blinded by flying glass.
Approximately nine minutes later, the American Embassy in Dar es Salaam,
Tanzania was also bombed, killing 11 and wounding 85 (Wright, 2006). Both
bombings were the result of planned attacks by al Qaeda and with the approval of
Osama Bin Laden.
On a personal level, I had only been with the FBI a little less than a year, and the
bombings were my first experience in an international terrorism matter. It was also
served as a harbinger of the new direction the FBI would be taking. One of by
squad mates, Bill, who was formerly a Marine Corp officer, had previously worked
at one of the embassies. He was immediately deployed to the region in a supporting
investigative role. The needs of the Bureau far outweighed his obligation to our drug
squad in Miami or the FBI Miami Division for that matter.
Why was it precursor of how future terrorist attacks would be planned and executed?
The prevailing maxim from decades past was the use of conventional weapons by
terrorist to make a political
Mesopotamian American Culture Essay
The Maisin people of Papua New Guinea have lived for generations making their
living from handmade horticulture gardens, subsidised by hunting, fishing and
gathering. The labour in the production of food is divided with men doing the
work of clearing the gardens as well as hunting and fishing, while the women do
the longer and tasks of gardening, gathering and making clothes. A garden, once
clear, is used for around two years before the thin topsoil is used up and it is left to
be reclaimed by the jungle. These gardens are used to grown taro, sweet potatoes

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this experiment is to scrutinize the method of the
photolithography during the wafer processing. There are two parts in this
experiment. The first part is to coat the wafer using resist element with the help of
spin coating technique at different spin speed then soft bake it and then measuring
the thickness of the wafer using Ellipsometer to know the resistance formed on the
surface of the wafer. Second we apply the photoresist to the wafer then it is placed in
the mask aligner where the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The resist layer is selectively exposed to a form of radiation, such as ultraviolet light,
electrons, or x rays using an exposure tool and mask to effect the desired selective
exposure. The patterns in the resist are formed when the resist is developed so that
the areas of resist remaining after development protect the substrate regions which
they cover. Locations from which resist has been removed are subjected to one or
more additive or subtractive processes that transfer the pattern onto the substrate
surface.
II. PHOTOLITHOGRAPHY PROCESS:
1. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION: Substrate preparation is intended to improve the
adhesion of the photoresist material to the substrate. This is accomplished by one or
more of the following processes: substrate cleaning to remove contamination
dehydration bake to remove water addition of an adhesion promoter. Figure 1:
Example of a typical sequence of lithographic processing steps
2. PHOTORESIST COATING: A thin, uniform coating of photoresist at a specific,
well controlled thickness is accomplished by the seemingly simple process of spin
coating. The photoresist, rendered into a liquid form by dissolving the solid
components in a solvent, is poured onto the wafer, which is then spun on a turntable
at a high speed producing the desired film. Photoresist is applied to the center of the
oxidized silicon wafer that is held down by a vacuum chuck.

My residence sinks demurely into the margin of Mt. Julius. The mountain stands

who reside beneath. I gazed across the horizon, polluted with grey towers and vibrant
lights, making no match to the sky infused with honeyed ripples.
I long to explore those ruins but have been unable to. My mindset is restraining me
tightly, its arms curled around my waist. Even though I know it is a natural human
instinct to fear for the unknown, my conscience yearns for freedom.
The next day, I had broken away from the chains and took a step out onto the bare
land as the glowing sun bloomed from the villages. I was one step closer to
alleviating the burden that lingered and dominated my headspace. Taking hesitant
steps towards the labyrinthine path, I inhaled the crisp air and let it rest on my lips as
I ambled through the towering bushes, the city in sight.
Billboards radiated dazzling light all around and clattering vehicles buzzed about

Coronary Artery Disease Research Papers
Coronary artery disease is described by causing the arteries and vessels that provide
oxygen and nutrients to the heart to become narrowed or blocked. The accumulation
of fatty substances (lipoproteins) on the inner linings of arteries is caused by
Atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Cholesterol and Triglycerides are two of
those substances (Funk Wagnalls, 2016). The bloodflow to the heartis restricted by the
blockage. A heart attack is the outcome of the blood flow to the heart being
completely cut off. The leading cause of death in the United States for both women
and men is coronary heart disease. Although more than 40,000 lives have been
claimed from this disease in the year 2000, the number of deaths from this disease has

The progress of coronary artery disease depends on the amount of cholesterol
carrying lipoproteins in the bloodstream. High density lipoprotein (HDL) and low
density lipoprotein (LDL) are considered the two chief types of lipoprotein.
Scientists believe that high levels of LDL contributes to coronary artery disease,
while on the other hand, cholesterol is removed from tissues by the help of HDL.
This is why LDL is considered to be bad cholesterol in some cases. Many factors of
hereditary determines the levels of LDL and HDL. In recent studies, indications
have risen that Chlamydia bacteria may possibly be responsible for coronary
artery disease in some cases (Milto Odle, 2015). The risk of developing coronary
artery disease has many major contributing factors, in which some of those factors
can be changed and some you have no control over. The more risk factors you have
the closer you are to developing this disease. For example, sex, age, and heredity
are a few of the major risk factors that cannot be changed. Sex heart attacks are more
likely to happen to men than women and at a younger age, but on the other hand,
women over the age of 60 develop CAD at a rate that is equal to that of
Music In Schools
Music has been taught in schools across the United States for hundreds of years.
Music classes may include those such as concert bands, choirs, and orchestras. In
most elementary schools, a standard band class is a required course to take. However,
as students gets older and continue their education, musicbecomes more scarcely
recognized as important. Many schooldistricts across the country are cutting funding
for musical programs as well as eliminating music classes completely. High school
students should be required to take at least one music course within their four years
of high school education. Music teaches values, helps to improve test scores, as well
as increasing usage throughout the brain. Music and music education teaches values

Human Suffering And Media Analysis
In the context of the current mediatised society, the media have become the platform
where the encounter with the other increasingly takes place, and in particular, where
the public becomes aware of circumstances of human suffering that are happening far
away from their immediate locale (Thompson, 1995). Even though the media have
expanded the field of view of the spectator, the mediated encounter with the distant
sufferer is structured over an abysmal gap (Bauman, 1993) between the scene of
suffering and the safe reality of the spectator sheltered behind the screen. This
paradox has raised a number of moral and ethical considerations. The question at the
heart of the debate is to what extent the new visibility of the other can in fact... Show

Taking a normative standpoint, Silverstone maintains that the media should function
as a public space that works for the human condition and not against it (2007: 33), a
moral space that promotes the inclusion and care of the other. This cosmopolitan
disposition towards the other, especially in the context of distant suffering, can then
become the foundation of transnational solidarity and of the pursuit of justice overall
(Silverstone, 2007). Silverstone advocates for the media to adopt specific
representational principles that foster this sort of cosmopolitan engagement. In
particular, he proposes the notion of proper distance , a theoretical principle that
captures the dialectical coexistence between the common humanity of the other and
his irreducible difference (Silverstone, 2007). Proper distance , in other words,
identifies the degree of proximity that presents the other as other with humanity
(Chouliaraki and Orgad, 2011); who deserves the dignity that is to be accorded to all
humans but is also unique and implicated in specific geopolitical

Psalm 23 Analysis
Psalm 23 The Holy Bible, NIV, (1996) explains that David authored Psalm 23 and
that his writing reveals the need for us to turn to God as our shepherd for all of our
needs. He begins the Psalm with The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I
need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He
renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name
(Psalm 23: 1 3). Immediately, two important corresponding elements appear, which
include green meadows and peaceful streams . Davidis explaining the difference
between a sinful life and one that allows the lord to guide it. Life has an abundance
of difficulty, however if we obey and allow Godto direct it we will find that

The Psalm is written to thank the Lord for all that he does Even when I walk through
the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod

demonstrate David s appreciation for all that the Lord has done for him. You prepare
a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You welcome me as a guest, anointing
my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings (Psalm 23: 5). David does not
appear to be calling for help or turning to God in need, but only to express his
immense gratitude for the blessings that have been bestowed on him (Bullock, 2004).
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I
will live in the house of the Lord forever (Psalm 23: 6). David expresses his endless
love for God in this Psalm and illustrates to the reader that if we remain faithful God
will deliver. If God is obeyed he will continue to be a loving shepherd and meet our
The Field Of Machine Learning Essay
Literature Review Introduction: Machine learning is a part of software engineering
that advanced from the examination of pattern recognition and computational
learning hypothesis in AI (artificial Intelligence). Machine learning scrutinizes the
study and development of algorithms that can gain from and make forecasts of the
information. The field of Machine Learning (ML) currently lacks a common
platform for the development of collaborative computing. By composing ML
models and algorithms in browser based programming languages, numerous
exploration opportunities are accessible. The most evident is programming
similarity: almost all registering gadgets can team up on the preparation of ML
models by contributing some computational assets to the general preparing
methodology and can, with the same code, saddle the force of advanced prescient
models of the same gadgets (see Fig. 1). Figure 1: MLitB overview: This figure

Baseball Force
The pictures above show something most people are probably familiar with.
Especially during this season, baseball is extremely popular, and is one of America
s most well liked sports. Two huge components of the game, the pitcher throwing the
ball and a batter hitting it, are shown in the two pictures. The picture was taken of
two players on the Gonzaga University team, one player pitching the ball and the
other player up to bat, at the baseballfield in Patterson Complex.
The sport of baseball revolves around the pitcher throwing the ball, and the batter
hitting it to a designated spot. The throwing of the ball involves many physical
concepts. There is force applied to the ball, and it flies through the air with a certain
velocity, and there ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Putting spin on the ball results in a curveball. Jon Drobnis, author of The Physics
Behind Baseball, states that air flows swiftly under the ball, causing it to dive
when it is thrown with curve. A curveball spins from top to bottom, opposite of a
fastball, which spins from bottom to top. The ball is given curve by snapping the
wrist as it is thrown (Griesmer, 2014). The air flowing under the ball is caused by
the existence of air resistance. Air resistance is also called drag, and it is the
forces opposing an object in motion through the air. They act opposite to the
direction of the object s velocity, and they depend directly on velocity. The ball
flying through the air meets the opposing force of air resistance, which causes air
to flow under the ball creating low pressure, and air to flow over the top of the ball
creating an area of high pressure. If the ball lacked spin, the air would simply flow
around the ball, rather than over it and under it. Throwing a curveball causes the
ball to deviate from the straight path of the pitcher to the catcher, and it also causes
the ball to drop suddenly before it reaches the batter. As the ball is flying through
the air, it deviates slightly from the straight path a fastball would normally take.
Although it only deviates from the straight path by a few inches, from the point of
view of the batter it looks as if the ball curves about 15 inches from the straight

Boyz N The Hood Sociology
Boyz N the Hood, directed by John Singleton is one in many films to showcase the
harsh reality of African Americans living in the hood . Hood films, as characterized
by an identifiable urban setting, such as New York or Los Angeles, and within a
modern time frame, use themes of hip hop culture to highlight the issues that plague
urban minority communities (Massood 145). Singleton, with Boyz N the Hood,
offers a commentary on the harsh experience of young, urban black males by
demonstrating the issues faced by these young men, namely lack of upward mobility
and cyclical and internal violence. One of the main issues highlighted in the film that
plague the communities of young, urban black men is a lack of upward mobility.

The film presents these well, by defining the hood in terms of the economic
destruction felt by South Central neighborhoods from the mid 1970s on, as places
brimming with poverty and unemployment (Massood 150). These areas faced huge
increases in unemployment, and because many of the lost jobs had required little to
no skills or education, many displaced workers were unable to move into other jobs,
and with the subsequent lack of adequate education needed to change employment
tracks and lack of mobility, urban communities, and especially that of young men,
would suffer greatly (Massood 150). The film portrays this by repeatedly showing
groups of young men on porches and street corners. One notable repetition is that of
Doughboy and his crew, since several times throughout the film they are depicted in
the same position. The four are sitting on the porch of the home of Doughboy s
mother and drinking 40 ounce malt liquor, and anytime they see a car they don t like,
they stand up and stare at the car. Groups of other young men are seen throughout the
film, such as at the beginning when they take Ricky s football, and in the
neighborhood in Compton. This re creation of similar scenes throughout the movie
helps to show the

Writing My Essay

  • 1. Writing My Essay Writing an essay on the topic of "Writing My Essay" may seem like a paradoxical endeavor. The challenge lies in the inherent self-referential nature of the task, as one navigates the intricacies of introspection and self-expression. Attempting to encapsulate the process of crafting an essay about oneself involves a delicate balance between self-awareness and humility. The difficulty arises from the need to strike a chord between sincerity and objectivity. It requires an exploration of personal experiences, reflections, and perspectives, all while avoiding the pitfalls of self-indulgence or overconfidence. One must grapple with the challenge of presenting oneself in a genuine light without succumbing to the temptation of embellishment or self- aggrandizement. Moreover, the writing process becomes a journey of self-discovery, unraveling layers of thought and emotion. Deciding which aspects of one's life to highlight and how to weave them into a coherent narrative adds complexity to the task. The writer must carefully select anecdotes, accomplishments, and personal growth moments, crafting them into a cohesive essay that not only captures attention but also resonates with authenticity. The struggle intensifies when grappling with questions of audience perception. Balancing the desire to be relatable with the fear of oversharing demands a nuanced approach. Additionally, the challenge extends to maintaining a sense of humility, avoiding the potential pitfalls of self- promotion. In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of "Writing My Essay" is a formidable task that requires introspection, self-awareness, and a deft touch in narrative construction. It involves a delicate dance between revealing personal insights and maintaining humility, all while attempting to engage and resonate with the audience. • 2. Antigone Choices Choice 1 The play Antigone by Sophocles demonstrates throughout its story elements of Saint Augustine s choice of the free will by involving choices of what she believes is morally right and not the law that is dictated by others. Antigone goes through her journey by making choices that are questionable but substantially true against the government by burying her brother because it is a cause that is greater than her and is what needs to be done. After a war between Eteocles and Polyneices, the result is both brothers perishing. Following this, Creonthe new king decides Polyneices shall not be buried because he believes he is a traitor just because he wanted a chance at the throne as their late father promised him and Eteocles. Upon hearing this news Antigonedoesn t take well to it and knows she must do something about this. This is because without a proper burial Polyneices will not be able to be rise to the next world and will therefore be stuck and left to rot for the rest of existence, this was her concern. Antigone has to make a decision here between what the law of mankind calls for or the immortal law of all existence that has created the earth and heavens, or more importantly mankind. She takes it upon herself that the better choice is to listen to the gods law and bury her brother because that is more important so he can live forever in the world to come. This goes hand and hand to what Saint Augustine says about evil that isn t caused by god. On the other

Once a project has been approved a project manager is assigned to the project, and is expected to integrate all aspects of the project, ensure that the proper knowledge and resources are available when they are needed, and ensure that the results are produced in a timely, cost effective manner (Meredith and Mantel, 2010, p5). In order to allow this to happen there are several key aspects of a project which need to be carefully thought out and controlled. Indeed, the Edinburgh City Council could have done more to provide better communication between its contractors as this would have diverted a lot of the miscommunication which led to the eventual delays in the project. It could also be said that it should have been the City Council s responsibility to manage the contract more tightly and have constructive discussions with the contractors so as to minimalize the risk of parties becoming unaware of one another s objectives towards the project plan. The contractual disputes between the stakeholders and lack of financial resources, led to delays in the project. TIE admitted that scheduling timetables, dating from April 2008, were merely indicative and now obsolete (Scotsman 2010). This admission by TIE gives a clearer indication as to the poor revision and updating of the project s schedule which should continuously be controlled when managing the time of a project. In March 2010, Bilfinger Berger announced that the construction work would be delayed by a further 30 months, with an estimated completion date in 2014. From the Manchu Empire which focused on Confucianism to the current Communist Party of the People s Republic of China, the government of China has changed drastically throughout the years, ultimately contributing to the country that Chinais today. It is significant to understand that the changes made in the governmental system were so drastic, that they stretched from the Mainland all the way to Taiwan and Hong Kong. The beginning empires of the governmental system in China were certainly different than the country s modern day government. The first empire can be traced back to the year 221 B.C. in which the Qin Dynasty was ruling. The dynasty was formed by an emperor named Qin Shi Huang, after the state of Qin conquered six other states in China. The dynasty had a goal in mind to create an imperial state which was unified by a higher political power with a strong economy. This goal was important to the leaders in order to maintain a strong military power in the country. The Qin Dynasty also wanted control over the peasantry, which allowed the Great Wall of China to be built. The purpose of building the Great Wall of China was to put an end to the raids of the nomadic central Asians from the north. From the leadership of the Qin came a system of writing, as well as a creation of many roads and other public

To concluded, the sodium nitrate was more soluble than the sodium chloride because it took 8.7 grams to saturate the sodium nitrate, while it took only 2.9 grams to saturate the sodium chloride. Conclusion: 1.) Are different substances equally soluble in water? Explain. Different substances are not equally soluble in water because each substance dissolves differently. For example the sodium nitrate took longer to dissolve than the sodium chloride because they are different substances. Some substances also may not dissolve at all in water. Also, substances have all different types of shapes and sizes, and larger substances may take longer to dissolve than smaller ones. 2.) How could you use the property of solubility to help identify the type of matter? There are many ways that one can use the property of solubility to help identify the type of matter. One way is to put the matter into water and shake it to see if it is soluble. Another way is to observe the matter and see the different shapes and colors that it has. Seeing if it is soluble in water and by observing the colors and shape one can narrow down what type of matter it is. 3.) What were two likely sources of error for this experiment? There are many likely sources of error that could have occured while doing this experiment. One error was that some of the substances were spilled on the table. The substances were left on the table throughout the experiment and it was never cleaned up.

We see this happening at the beginning of the chapter with the first three words being Look, a Negro . Fanon thus began to know himself by how he thought the other saw/understood him. He stepped outside of himself into, first the third person, but later in a triple person. This caused him to question his own self image as well as to question what it means to be black and the social structures that exist in a white supremacist society. Fanon wrote about the unreasonable notion of judging and discriminating others based on the colour of their skin colour prejudice. He felt trapped under the fact that the white person had fixed an identity onto him. As Fanon was creating himself, these stereotypes were both untrue and stuck in time. The fixed identity of the black man was not part of his reality. As the chapter goes on, we see that this objecthood was crushing him. It is important in the understanding of anti vivisection morality and grammatical fiction to also understand the Russia in which Rubashov was living. In the 1930s, Russia was a communist country following principles based on the ideas of Karl Marx. Marx believed that at some point in time, all societies end up being communist which can only be accomplished through revolution. In the early 1900s, Russian was governed by the Bolshevik party led by Vladimir Lenon. Stalin came into power after Lenin died and shortly thereafter, he began executing all those who he believed posed some kind of threat to his power. In Darkness at Noon, this is exactly what happened to the protagonist, Nicolas Rubashov. He was an elite in the Party and was there as Number One rose to power and later became a victim during the Moscow purges. The power that Number One, in reality Stalin, wielded, had been seen before and since his time in leaders such as Cuba s Castro and North Korea s Kim II Sung. Both followed similar paths to Stalin in eliminating all opposition and threats to their power. Number One, like Stalin, got rid of anyone who could possibly threaten him and take over. With that thought in mind, we are back to looking at how Arthur Koestler portrayed the character of Rubashov as a vehicle to illustrate the struggle between the ideas of the party and of the individual. The conspicuous disagreement of the Communist Party is the contention between

Some of the biggest impacts that humans make on the water cycle are direct, indirect, cumulative, and induced impacts. A direct impact would be the fact that we rely on the consumption of fresh water for sustenance and maintaining personal hygiene. An indirect impact would be that our food is grown using chemical inputs, (including natural chemicals fertilizers), which results in the discharge of chemicals and nutrients that leach into groundwater, and underground aquifers. A cumulative impact would be the combined impact of our past, present, and future on the environment. And lastly an induced impact, such as a lake that increases in toxicity due to a landfill that was created. With this in mind, the most considerable impacts that I personally make would be; i.) The direct impact from consuming water (retrieved from a fresh water supply usually sourced from underground aquifers, or natural fresh water springs.) ii.) The indirect impact from consuming electricity (15% of which is sourced from hydroelectric dams in the state of California.) iii.) The cumulative impact of the total amount of water that I have used, use now, and will need to sue in the future. And, iv.) Megan Garber, a staff writer at The Atlantic situated in Washington releases an article on why The Emoji movie fails. The goal I want to achieve by writing this essay is to identify how the author builds the argument of the topic using different rhetorical strategies and check if the author established solid credible evidence to validate the arguments she made. Summary and Description of Rhetorical Situation: The article being discussed was released on August 4,2017 shortly after the release of the movie on July 28, 2017. Megan writes this text to explain the problems with the movie and later on supporting her arguments by using related examples and statistics that line up with the points she mentions in her article. The reason she uses the Internet as her platform is to attract young readers who are users of emojis and technology and may have watched The Emoji Movie . Firstly, she begins by explaining how the producers of movies such as Toy Story and The Lego Movie take inanimate objects and discovers a parallel world to ours and injects a story into them. On the other hand, The Emoji Movie attempts to create a story line; however, it ends up becoming a platform for promoting applications used by the majority of people in this generation. This dissatisfaction is shown statistically by the ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, which are currently at a 0% approval rate and an overall low score of 7%. Furthermore, Megan shows how emojis are not just doodles rather tools that are used for means of communication, as it is a universal way for people to interact with each other. Emojis are said to affect the way people interact in day to day communication and how effective people connect. The text mentions that some people believed that the reason for The Emoji Movies failure was due to its conflict with the book The Emoji Code written by Vyvyan Evans. The Emoji Code talks about the reasons that emojis have become so famous by analyzing certain aspects such as the study of language, the study of mind and behavior and the study of learning and thought. Primo Levi Survival in Auschwitz EXAM QUESTION 1 PART A Survival in Auschwitz written by Primo Levi is a first hand description of the atrocities which took place in the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz. The book provides an explicit depiction of camp life: the squalor, the insufficient food supply, the seemingly endless labour, cramped living space, and the barter based economy which the prisoners lived. Levi through use of his simple yet powerful words outlined the motive behind Auschwitz, the tactical dehumanization and extermination of Jews. This paper will discuss experiences and reactions of Jews who labored in Auschwitz, and elaborate on the pre Auschwitz experiences of Jews who were deported to Auschwitz and gassed to death on their arrival, which had not been... The process of belittlement worked until men inside the camp had no value for their own life, or were simply too exhausted to resist. PART BThose who were murdered upon arrival at Auschwitz were for the most part composed of the elderly, ill, women, and children. Most of these people were rounded up from over crowded Jewish ghettos through out Europe. The Lodz, Warsaw, and Krakow ghettos alone held roughly 700,000 thousand Jews. Every day deportations to concentration camps and other ghettos, and random murders took place. Major food shortages emerged within the ghettos alongside epidemics, and people were dropping dead of hunger and disease in the streets. SS Sturmbanfuhrer Hoppner proposed a more humane way of exterminating Jews, rather than letting them starve to death he had gas vans in mind. The vans were tested north of the Lodz ghetto in Chelmno, and they had proved to be an effective and humane way of extermination. These mobile killing units are estimated to have killed 150,000 Jews. The deporting of people into extermination camps was carried out by cramming people into cattle carts attached to trains.

The Suicide Car And Truck Bombings I chose the August 1998 simultaneous suicide car and truck bombings of the U.S. embassies in Nairobi and Tanzania because I believe that not only were the attacks a precursor of how future terrorist attacks were to be planned and executed, but it was also the first successful terrorist strike by the al Qaedanetwork. The first bombing occurred at the American Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya on August 7, 1998. The attack killed 213, injuring thousands over 150 people blinded by flying glass. Approximately nine minutes later, the American Embassy in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania was also bombed, killing 11 and wounding 85 (Wright, 2006). Both bombings were the result of planned attacks by al Qaeda and with the approval of Osama Bin Laden. On a personal level, I had only been with the FBI a little less than a year, and the bombings were my first experience in an international terrorism matter. It was also served as a harbinger of the new direction the FBI would be taking. One of by squad mates, Bill, who was formerly a Marine Corp officer, had previously worked at one of the embassies. He was immediately deployed to the region in a supporting investigative role. The needs of the Bureau far outweighed his obligation to our drug squad in Miami or the FBI Miami Division for that matter. There are two parts in this experiment. The first part is to coat the wafer using resist element with the help of spin coating technique at different spin speed then soft bake it and then measuring the thickness of the wafer using Ellipsometer to know the resistance formed on the surface of the wafer. The resist layer is selectively exposed to a form of radiation, such as ultraviolet light, electrons, or x rays using an exposure tool and mask to effect the desired selective exposure. The patterns in the resist are formed when the resist is developed so that the areas of resist remaining after development protect the substrate regions which they cover. Locations from which resist has been removed are subjected to one or more additive or subtractive processes that transfer the pattern onto the substrate surface. II. PHOTOLITHOGRAPHY PROCESS: 1. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION: Substrate preparation is intended to improve the adhesion of the photoresist material to the substrate. This is accomplished by one or more of the following processes: substrate cleaning to remove contamination dehydration bake to remove water addition of an adhesion promoter. Figure 1: Example of a typical sequence of lithographic processing steps 2. PHOTORESIST COATING: A thin, uniform coating of photoresist at a specific, well controlled thickness is accomplished by the seemingly simple process of spin coating. The photoresist, rendered into a liquid form by dissolving the solid components in a solvent, is poured onto the wafer, which is then spun on a turntable at a high speed producing the desired film. Photoresist is applied to the center of the oxidized silicon wafer that is held down by a vacuum chuck.

High density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) are considered the two chief types of lipoprotein. Scientists believe that high levels of LDL contributes to coronary artery disease, while on the other hand, cholesterol is removed from tissues by the help of HDL. This is why LDL is considered to be bad cholesterol in some cases. Many factors of hereditary determines the levels of LDL and HDL. Even though the media have expanded the field of view of the spectator, the mediated encounter with the distant sufferer is structured over an abysmal gap (Bauman, 1993) between the scene of suffering and the safe reality of the spectator sheltered behind the screen. Jon Drobnis, author of The Physics Behind Baseball, states that air flows swiftly under the ball, causing it to dive when it is thrown with curve. A curveball spins from top to bottom, opposite of a fastball, which spins from bottom to top. The ball is given curve by snapping the wrist as it is thrown (Griesmer, 2014). The air flowing under the ball is caused by the existence of air resistance. Air resistance is also called drag, and it is the forces opposing an object in motion through the air. They act opposite to the direction of the object s velocity, and they depend directly on velocity. The ball flying through the air meets the opposing force of air resistance, which causes air to flow under the ball creating low pressure, and air to flow over the top of the ball creating an area of high pressure. If the ball lacked spin, the air would simply flow around the ball, rather than over it and under it. Throwing a curveball causes the ball to deviate from the straight path of the pitcher to the catcher, and it also causes the ball to drop suddenly before it reaches the batter. As the ball is flying through the air, it deviates slightly from the straight path a fastball would normally take. Although it only deviates from the straight path by a few inches, from the point of view of the batter it looks as if the ball curves about 15 inches from the straight
