Safe Port Act Of 2006
SAFE Port Act of 2006 Terrorism has been one of the major concerns of the entire world; however,
the incident of 9/11 entirely changed the perception of governments towards the issue of terrorism. In
this regard, the United States of America has significantly improvised its approach towards dealing
with terrorism. The approach of the U.S. is also justifiable as the United States is the only country that
had to face the maximum ramifications caused by terrorism as thousands of people have lost their
lives in multiple terrorist acts. Moreover, the U.S. has also tolerated the loss of billions of dollars in
the shape of loss of capital, and investing in improved military and intelligence services. Despite of all
these efforts, the U.S. has always felt the threat of terrorist activities; based on this fact, the
government and legislature of the United States of America has enacted many acts of Congress to
ensure the security of the residents, capital, and assets of the country. Out of various strategies to make
United States a safer country, the Security and Accountability for Every (SAFE) Port Act in
considered the most imperative yet debated topic among the politicians as well as the public of the
U.S.
Introduction of Safe Port Act of 2006 The basic purpose of the Act was to control all the ongoing
activities of every single port of United States to ensure the safety of United States from the threats of
terrorist activities. President Bush signed the Act on 13 October 2006.

The Construction Of The Church
As Breuer s career progressed, so did his style and the commissions. His work at the UNESCO
Headquarter had finally given him a strong name outside of the residential realm. At the beginning of
the 1950s the brethren at the Benedictine Abbey of Saint John the Baptist in Collegeville, MN decided
it was time to expand their campus. For the project, they decided to interview a series of architectural
stars at the time, such as Walter Gropius, Richard Neutra, Pietro Belluschi, Barry Byrne, Eero
Saarinen, and Marcel Breuer. In the end, they chose Breuer for his personality, modesty, honesty,
listening skills, and for the fact that he took their needs and wishes seriously.15 The construction of
the campus started in 1953 with the addition of a new dormitory wing for the monks. In addition to the
church and monk dormitory, Breuer would eventually go on to design two student dormitories, a
library, and a natural science research department. Construction of the church began in 1958.
As if his proposed design of the church building wasn t radicle enough, Breuer ended up adding on a
98 foot trapezoidal bell banner to the front of the church. (Fig. 6) The bell tower holds five bells that
were transferred from the previous church on a sail made of concrete risers. A slight resemblance
between the bell banner and the Eiffel tower can be seen within the use of smooth curved shaped legs
at the base the structure. The bell banner was also constructed to help reflect sun out of the south

North Carolina s Declaration Of Independence
While soldiers fought the war on the field, North Carolina s public leaders fought for independence,
too. In April 1776 North Carolina s provincial congress met at Halifax and decided to send a message
to the Continental Congress. The group called for all the colonies to proclaim their independence from
Great Britain. These Halifax Resolves were the first official action by any colony calling for a united
drive for independence. Now there was no turning back. Once the members of the Continental
Congress signed the Declaration of Independence, only the spilling of much blood would settle the
matter.

But North Carolinians were greatly divided. There was bitter combat between the Whigs and Tories

But the ideal of government by the citizens and for the citizens was the fuel that fired the
revolutionary vision of a just society. It is the ideal that allows for change when the people desire
change.
For example, in those days, only free men who owned a certain amount of property were allowed to
vote. But since then, the requirement of owning property has been dropped. Women are allowed to
vote. Slavery was abolished. Now all adult citizens of the United States (with the exception of those
who have committed serious crimes) are allowed to vote. Expanding suffrage the right to vote to a
greater number of people means that citizens have greater power over their own government.
Many Tar Heels living in 1776 would be horrified to see that everyone has the right to vote. Other
revolutionaries of the time would be pleased that the democratic government they created has become
strong and works so well. The great legacy of the American Revolution is that a government was
established that allowed for debate and differences of opinion. This government is able to develop and
improve as society

Water And Sanitation For The Bolivian People
Introduction One of the most studied phenomena in political science is how some countries were able
to develop into rich nations while some remained underdeveloped and poor. While the answer to this
important question is so unique and complex that it may never be answered, there are some policies
that may help a country to develop. One of which is the proper use of foreign aid. Bolivia, like many
of the counties in Latin America, is considered to be an LDC with its deeply rooted issued of severe
poverty. The country receives large amounts of foreign aid, and even with the reception of foreign aid,
Bolivia has seen insignificant changes to its developmental level due to the misuse of funds. The
USAID has decided to restore ties with Bolivia and grant the country $1 million. In this paper I will
suggest that the grant of these funds is to be used to provide clean sources of water and sanitation for
the Bolivian people. In the construction of this argument, I will begin with a broad summary of
Bolivia s developmental status, along with its nature, and the effect it has on its citizens. Next, I will
outline that the channeling of these funds will through NGOs and will go towards the building of
water purification and sanitation systems in both urban and rural areas. Third, I will explain why this
form of aid is the most effective method that will help Bolivia to overcome its lack of development. I
conclude that this particular approach to aiding Bolivia will offer and institute

The Physick Book Of Deliverance Dane
Most people have read at least one story about a certain period of time or about a particular person in
history, these stories are what novelist classify as historical fiction. Historical fictions are books
written about a period, people or a characteristics of a time in history. Therefore, these stories are
extremely popular in terms of bringing in moments of history and expanding them to create a more
fictitious or relatable story. The Bedford Glossary describes a historical fiction or novel as a use of
historical events or figures in a fictitious narrative... often vehicles for...insight...into the causes and
consequences of historical events (). Though many novels use historical references, The Physick Book

Life Of Pi By Yann Martel s Life Of Pi
There was once a man who was driving around in the winter, he lost control of his car and went into a
ditch. He awoke to find himself alone in the car with no gas station for miles. He made the decision to
start walking, he walked for 2 miles when he came up on a truck. He assumed the owner was hunting
as they were in a prime hunting spot. The man peeked inside the truck to find lots of food and warm
clothes. If the man broke into the truck and ate the food and put the clothes on should he could get in
trouble. He was in a very dangerous life or death situation. This is the question: Should he get in
trouble for trying to save his own life? If humans are in life or death situations, they should be able to
do whatever is needed to keep themselves alive. In Life Of Pi by Yann Martel, Richard Parker, and Pi
go on a very tough journey all over the ocean with only a lifeboat, and a limited supply of food, and
water. They started out with multiple animals on the boat they but only one survived. Richard Parker
was the highest on the food chain on the boat. Richard quickly ate the Hyena, Zebra, and the
Orangutan. Bengal Tigers have a very large appetite. So, he soon ran out of food after he ate all of the
other animals. Therefore, to save his own life Pi started to catch fish for both of them to eat. When this
story took place Bengal Tigers were very endangered. Pi was starved, if he killed Richard Parker

Dramaturgical Metaphor Erving Goffman
Erving Goffman s above statement, referencing actors and public image, is a clear allusion to his
dramaturgical metaphor, which is one branch of his work on symbolic interactionism. His
dramaturgical metaphor delves into the premise that we are all actors who perform to others as our
audience (Goffman, 1990). It is this metaphor which will be evaluated and analysed for its
sociological significance, as well as the practical implications of the statement above, and what it
means to be sociologically significant. Many other sociologists have also tackled the depths of
Symbolic Interactionism, or the themes explored by the dramaturgical metaphor, of the likes of, Mead
and Blumer. Their insights and contributions will be discussed concerning Goffman s statement.
However, it is Goffman s dramaturgical metaphor which will be of the most help in evaluating the
statement given and its sociological significance. Although, as relayed above, other sociologists work,
such as Meads idea of the self being split into the I and the Me, and their individual functions will be
important in helping us further evaluate the statement, and its sociological significance (Pampel,
2007). As will Blumer s three pronged approach to symbolic interactionism, allowing us to grasp a
basic understanding of the concepts and frameworks surrounding symbolic interactionism, and
enhance our knowledge of the dramaturgical metaphors place in symbolic interactionism (Carter
Fuller, 2015). Overall, the

Income Inequality Of The United States
The United States is often viewed as a wealthy and stable country, but as shown in 2011, the richest
fifth of American households received about 51.1 percent of total income, while the poorest fifth
received about 3.2 percent (McConnell). There are many sources of income inequality that effect
poverty in the United States and the role that discrimination plays in reducing and increasing wages
for different people and how the people of the United States are affected by it.
The average household income in the United States is, in fact, one of the highest in the world.
Unfortunately, does not provide information about income inequality. There are two ways to measure
income inequality: distribution by income category and distribution by quintiles. Distribution by
income category involves looking at the percentages of households in a series of income categories.
Distribution of quintiles involves dividing the total number of households into five equal groups or
quintiles and to compare it with the percentage of personal income. The Lorenz Curve is a way to
display the quintile distribution. In a graph showing the Lorenz curve, there is one straight, up sloping
diagonal line that represents a perfectly equal distribution of income, and a second curve of the actual
quintile data that becomes the Lorenz curve. The space in between the two lines represents the amount
of income inequality there is. This information can then be converted into a Gini ratio which is the

The Paradox Of Emotions In Noel Carroll s The Philosophy...
The genre of horror films have been spooking audiences since the early 1900s with films such as The
Abominable Snowman and Nosferatu. Although fans of these movies are scared, they continue to
watch to the movies every decade despite their fears. This drive to see movies that induce fear but an
overall avoidance to fear is known as a paradox of horror films. In 1990, Noel Carroll outlined the
paradox of horror in his book entitled The Philosophy of Horror. Carroll discussed in his book at least
three theories that could solve the paradox of horror but each are flawed. The two theories that are
connected the most with experience and the knowledge of what a horror movie experience is the
illusion theory and the thought theory of emotions but Carroll leaves out Edmund Burke s sublime in
his discussion of the paradox of horror. This concept of Burke s sublime can be used without flaw to
dissolve the paradox of horror films unlike the illusion theory or the thought theory of emotions. The
paradox of horror movies is that people are afraid of horror movies despite knowing that the movies
are fiction. Carroll attempts to use the illusion theory and the thought theory of emotions to explain
the paradox but neglects to mention the concept of the sublime which can be used to explain ... Show

He believed that terror could influence the sublime and that the sublime itself was whatever is fitted in
any sort to excite the ideas of pain and danger... Whatever is in any sort terrible, or is conversant about
terrible objects, or operates in a manner analogous to terror (Burke 211). This particular theory can be
applied, to the paradox of horror films because it states whatever causes us fear or pain also produces
feelings of pleasure. Looking at the concept of the sublime, it can be broken into these premises and

As I wandered the wide forest surrounding the kingdom I couldn t help but feel a sense of longing. I
always felt that way when I was in a place like this. It was enchanting, comforting, and it was easy to
lose yourself for hours in it. It was the only place wher I could really think. The rest of the time I am

kingdom, and I had to be watched and told what too do and how to do it, every. Single. Day. It wasn t

Mondays are her least favorite, they re usually slow days, slower, anyway, and sometimes just to pick
herself up, Veronica liked to stop someplace special on the way home. Take Neptune, California up on
what it had to offer her. Going the long way to her car, she stopped at a bakery, just a donut to go,
when she saw it across the street. Monstrous and offensive, a brand new superstore going up, one for
books and her chocolate donut with chocolate sprinkles tasted like sweetened ashes. Even now, years
after her dad s death, the first thought in her mind was how much he would hate it. Not even
necessarily the big business competition of it, just the disparaging of what was really left of Neptune s
small town USA charm. Finishing the rest of her donut in large bites, Veronica couldn t be bothered

David Harvey
David Harvey, in his work The Condition of Postmodernity , argues that ... [T]he only secure thing
about modernity is its insecurity, its penchant, even, for totalizing chaos. In essence, Harvey believes
that the idea of modernity is a hypocritical idealism in which present day aspects of life are reflective
of underlying conflicting attributes expressed by the general population. In present day, our lives are
irrefutably impacted by technological advances, and as a result of the presence of such technologies
that allow us to perform labors such as mass production, the definition of modernity is skewed by
people s diminishing respects for original works and the rising demands for maximum efficiency.

When looked at in a modern perspective, in most cases the concept of originality is eluded because we
arrive at the conclusion that if we wish to view a specific work with our eyes, we just need to simply
search for the name of the work in Google Images to be presented with a digital representation of the
very image without having to partake in the hassle of leaving the house to go to an exhibition miles
away to see the original image up close. It seems that the idea of authenticity and aura lacks
importance nowadays because of the prevailing standard that if one wishes to present their
masterpiece work for acclaim, one should prioritize the accessibility for viewing of the work in order
to gain attention. Ergo, Benjamin s argument holds true to present day values in that technological
reproducibility has considerably reduced mankind s appreciation for aura to a point where even the

Although the company is known for their coffee, they also drive a great portion of their revenue from
baked good sales, which differs greatly from the Keurig Green Mountain strategy. Dunkin does
compete against Dunkin intensely in the New England market, as both companies were founded and
based in the area.
B. Value Chain Analysis The Keurig Green Mountain Inc. value chain has seven main steps.
Step 1. Cultivation
Farm management techniques can affect coffee cultivation. Water irrigation isn t used often in the
coffee cultivation because much of the water needed for coffee growing comes from rainfall. Step 2.
Packaging Shipping After coffee is harvested, it must be dried, packaged in sacks, and transported.
During this stage, energy is sued for drying, storing, and mechanically hulling the coffee beans. This
stage of the value chain also includes transportation of green coffee beans to facilities. Step 3.
Processing Once green coffee beans arrive at facilities, they are roasted and grinded for packaging.
There is an established infrastructure to track the energy use of the roasting operations in a new way,
providing data that is more useful for managing energy efficiency. Step 4. Packaging After the coffee
is roasted it is packaged. This stage of the value chain includes the physical packaging of the roasted
coffee as well as the upstream material requirements for the packaging itself. Step 5. Distribution

The Problem Of Abusive Relationships
I would first like to start off by saying that this has been a very difficult topic for me. That is why I
have waited until the last minute to post this week. It has only been a year since I have left my
fourteen year abusive marriage. I hide the abuse from all of my friends and family. When you are in
the situation you do not realize how bad it is until you are almost dead or in jail. An abusive
relationship is like a leaking faucet that starts with a slow drip and over time the slow drip has become
a flooded house because the pipe has finally broke. First comes the fight, then comes the violent
episode, then the honeymoon phase after the violent episode. The make up sex was so intense. He
would love to hit me then make me have sex with him. He would say it is such a turn on. He would
always say I cannot believe I did that. I am so sorry it will never happen again. Sometimes months
would go buy even years but it would always start back up. I will say that the emotional abuse I
suffered was far worse than the physical abuse. I would rather my ex hit me than tell me that I was a
pathetic, dumb bitch that didn t deserve to be alive. I am in therapy and supports groups right now and
they are helping me get a better understanding of why I stayed and how to never be in a situation like
that again. I am a work in progress and I am happy to say I am alive and I am finding my happy again.

Research Paper On My Lai Massacre
My Lai On March 16, 1968, in the Quang Ngai region of Vietnam, specifically My Lai, the United
States military was involved in an appalling slaughter of approximately 500 Vietnamese civilians.
There are numerous arguments as to why this incident even had the capacity to occur. Although some
of the arguments seem valid, can one really make excuses for the slaughter of innocent people? The
company that was responsible for the My Lai incident was the Charlie Company and throughout the
company there were many different accounts of what happened that reprehensible day. Therefore there
are a few contradictions about what had occurred, such as what the commanding officers exact
instructions for the soldiers were. Even with these contradictions ... Show more content on

Ridenhour became informed about My Lai through stories that his fellow veterans had told him. He
stated, I wanted to get those people. I wanted to reveal what they did. My God, when I first came
home, I would tell my friends and cry literally cry. (Linder) The letters he wrote, for the most part
were cast aside, but some recipients were curious. Representative Morris Udall decided the letter was
not to be ignored and what Ridenhour claimed had happened needed to be investigated. This is where
the trials and the questioning of what actually happened, who was to blame, and what the reasons for
this calamity were, began. The real query though was, even if the above questions could be answered
would there ever be a clear explanation/excuse for this tragedy. As mentioned before the Vietnam War
caused the soldiers to harbor a lot of hostility directed at their situation as opposed to just their enemy.
These were all relatively young men fighting, 18 22, most without anything more than a high school
education. They were in a strange foreign country fighting a war that most of them did not even
understand. They were fighting in an oppressively hot climate among peasants of an alien culture.
(Goff, Moss Terry, Upshur, 445) The main problem was that Vietnam was not a conventional war, it
was very difficult to tell who the enemy was. Members of the 48th Battalion reportedly lived with the
local villagers in order to conceal their presence, often

Serial Killer Psychology
The mind of a serial killer has been researched for years and years. Since the earliest serial killers to
the most recent, everyone wants to know what goes on in a serial killers mind. Do they just kill
because they want to see people suffer or deep down is there something wrong with them? It could be
that they are working for the devil as some people may say. It may just be that these people are
downright crazy and killing is what they want to do. A lot of things in the mind can force a serial killer

Structural Vulnerabilities And Link Privacy
Structural vulnerabilities and Link Privacy in Social Networks
Introduction/Background:
In social networks, a link represents a relationship between two nodes in the network. These links can
represent email conversations, web surfing, co purchases of two or more products (e.g. Amazon),
friendships (e.g. Facebook), followers (e.g. Twitter), etc. Often times these relationships are sensitive
and/or confidential in nature [ying wu] and the users are operating under the assumption that their
private relationships will not be disclosed.
In recent years the amount of data accumulated from social networks has become very large, and there
is a lot of valuable information to gain from analyzing and applying data mining to social network
data. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Neighborhood Randomization Using Sub Graph Perturbation
In order for people to mine valuable data from social network graphs they must first be given
information about the network. Even without explicit information about the nodes, an attacker may
use structural information about the nodes and graph itself (e.g. node degree) to identify who the
individuals are that the nodes represent. Simple graph wise randomization addresses this problem by
deleting k randomly chosen edges and replacing them with k randomly chosen edges, however a
problem arises since data miners depend on these structural attributes to properly analyze the social
network. Fard and Wang [fard wang] propose a structure aware algorithm for the randomization of
social network edges as well as a formal definition of link privacy with respect to a probabilistic
threshold. Their motivation is to help conceal sensitive links by using randomization techniques,
without disturbing the actual structure of the graph, which is achieved through local neighborhood
perturbation. This is needed so that graphs can be analyzed without the link structure being left
entirely vulnerable to attackers. The goal of their algorithm is to make it so that an adversary cannot
know if a link in the original graph exists from having a link in the new graph.

Essay about Good Will Hunting Character Analysis
Introduction Social Cognitive theory believes that humans are individuals who are capable of
proactively making things happen to assist in their own development (Parajes, 2002). In Good Will
Hunting, Will Hunting did not believe that he was able to make a positive change in his life. Will is a
prodigy, particularly in mathematics, who did not recognize his gift. He was born and raised in the
slums, where he is now comfortable. He was abandoned by his parents and in and out of numerous
foster homes. He experienced abuse and neglect in these homes. He was not only physically abused
but also mentally and psychologically. His ability to solve complicated mathematical equations caught
the eye of a professor at the university where Will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Will sees himself as a southie , a loser. To maintain congruence between his self view and his
experiences his acts out. He starts fights and stays in trouble. He doesn t seek anything better for
himself. In Rogers theory an individual strives for self actualization. Will is brilliant and has
knowledge about many topics. He reads a lot to keep himself knowledgeable. He answers difficult
math problems that are put on a board at MIT, where he works as a janitor. In trying to maintain
congruence between his self view and his experiences he does not trust anyone. When someone tries
to get close and help him he denies needing help. Will is defensive towards everyone he comes in
contact with. He experiences incongruence with his cockiness of being smarter than most but he doesn
t feel he deserves better than living as a nobody. Will s ability to push all his therapists and his
girlfriend away shows his defensiveness. He keeps this tough boy attitude to make others not want to
care about him because no one ever has. Rogers pathology includes defensive maintenance of self
(Pervin et al., 2005). Will s therapist was concerned about Will and took an active role in
understanding the experiences of the client (Pervin et al, p. 198, 2005). This therapy is called Client
Centered Therapy. The therapist doesn t try to change Will but accepts him as he is. Will eventually
changes by embracing his new found relationship with his girlfriend and realizes his potential.

The Top Five Online Auction Website
According to Top Ten Reviews, in 2016 the top five online auction sites are eBay, eBid, Webstore,
Online Auction and ePier.
According to Baye, Price and Squalli, in an auction, potential buyers compete for the right to own a
good, service, or, more generally, anything in value. Auctions are used to sell a variety of things,
including art, Treasury bills, furniture, real estate, oil leases, corporations, electricity and numerous
consumer goods at auction sites on the Internet. When the auctions take place, the seller interest is to
ensure that they receive the highest price for their item. As for the buyer, the main interest is the
ability to purchase an item at a lowest cost possible.

The fees that eBay could apply to you will depend of the type of seller you are, the number of items
you are selling per month, type if items and the type of auction you choose to sell your items through.
Per month eBay offers 50 item listing free of charge after which it charges 30 cents per any additional
listing. Additional charges apply if you would like to make your listing standout with bold text, etc.
Depending on the number of items that you would like to list on the monthly basis, e Bay offers a
special subscription fee for store subscribers with fees ranging from $20 200$ per month. Supposedly
this provides a better offer to those with a big monthly number of listing.
Once you sell your item through eBay, this is where the platform will make additional money. eBay
will charge 10% of any item sold (including the final price the item was sold + shipping costs). So if
you sold an item for $15 and your shipping costs come to $5, eBay will charge you 10% of the final
cost $20, and would receive $2 of your sale.

To make matters even more confusing, there are those within the Business Analyst community who
have begun to distinguish between business analysts who focus on defining software requirements and
those business analysts who are focused on improving business processes. SAP, for example, has set
up a website1 for Business Process eXperts (BPXs), a group of analysts with more extensive business
process capabilities.
This vagueness between BA and BPM roles creates confusion in practice and academia, which
impacts on role designs, skills assessment, human resource development, recruitment and professional
development. The impact of such was made clear at a Leonardo Process Days 2010 conference panel
where BA and BPM role differentiation was reviewed. An outcome of this discussion was a consensus
that i) Practitioners struggle to recognise and articulate the skills required (BA, BPM or both?) for
various organisational initiatives and how to locate appropriate talent to fill these roles ii)
Academics fail to position BA and BPM as separate professions and often bundle them as the same in
their course descriptions and marketing iii) Students and prospective candidates for employment
vacancies therefore remain confused about the specific skill sets required of a BPM professional a nd/

conditions were poor and the compensation terms for work were unfair. Due to illiteracy, the
sharecropping contract was not even read by the farmer, begging the question that a contract was
legitimate and that the farmer even agreed to the terms. A sharecropping contract from 1865 reads, we

managing the crop. Quotes from contracts like this one begs the question, was sharecropping really
that different from slavery? People also argue that racism from pre Civil War America was the same as
racism during reconstruction. Racism was even used as a political tactic by some during
Reconstruction. In Democratic party campaign speech, a candidate for Alabama governor proclaims,

One creative way to get started investing in real estate is to use a lease option. The biggest advantage
of using lease options to invest in real estate is control. This method of investing, basically gives the
investor the right to possess be in control of and profit from a property without owning it.
A real estate lease option contract is a combination of two documents.
The lease part of the contract is where the owner agrees to let you lease their property, while you pay
them rent for a stated period of time. During the lease period, the owner can not raise the rent, rent it
to anyone else, or sell the property to anyone else.
The option part of the contract represents the right you purchased to buy the property in the future, for
a specific price. If you decide to exercise your option to buy, the owner has to sell it to you at the
negotiated price. The option part of the contract obligates the seller to sell to you during the option
period but it does not obligate you to buy. You are only obligated to make rental

Covenant Village Of Cromwell Is A Retirement Community Essay
Introduction
Covenant Village of Cromwell is a retirement community that is a subsidiary of Covenant Village
Retirement Communities, which hosts fourteen retirement locations throughout the United States. The
location I worked for has several departments, such as nursing, independent living, housekeeping, and
dining services. It houses hundreds of residents in three main categories: independent living, semi
independent living, and assisted living. There are approximately 300 staff members that work across
campus in a variety of roles, such as nursing, maintenance, activities, housekeeping, and aides. I
worked within dining services, where there were about 50 staff members with two main dining rooms
on campus. The dining rooms were responsible for providing meals to the residents: either breakfast,
lunch, or dinner, depending on each resident s individual needs. In assisted living, the main dining
room was named Pineview, and in semi independent living, the dining room was referred to as the
Village. There were two dining room managers and four floor supervisors, so each side and one
manager and two supervisors. Within the kitchens, there were three different divisions, which were the
cooks, the wait staff, and the utility staff. Within my division, wait staff, there were also trainers, who
were tasked with watching over and training new staff. There were also three different roles within

Examples Of Injustice In The Lottery
Lots of people have to deal with a situation with two choices that have very different outcomes, and
could even mean life or death. Either standing up in the face of injustice, or following the crowd. This
is also known as peer pressure. The Lottery, written by Shirley Jackson, is a fictional short story about
a lottery that takes place in a village every summer. First, every family has a representative that draws
a slip of paper, then every member of the winning family draws, and however gets a black dot on their
paper wins, which means that person gets stoned to death. Then, First They Came, by Martin
Niemoller, a man who wrote about his perspective on justice and indifference based from his
experience of not standing up for others in the face of injustice. The two stories, The Lottery, and First
They Came, deal with injustice, but they do so in different ways.
In the first place, The Lottery deals with injustice throughout the story. At the beginning, where no one
stood up and said that the lottery was wrong and should not be used anymore, when no one said
anything when Bill Hutchinson drew the marked paper for his family, to when Tessie Hutchison won
the lottery and everyone just went along with it like everything was fine. These examples not only
display injustice, but could also fit in with following the crowd, and because no one is standing up
against Mr. Summers, it ends with someone innocent dying every year.
In contrast, First They Came

The Ethics And Morals Of Abortion Essay
The Ethics and Morals of Abortion Abortion, as it is, is a method to terminate a pregnancy by
removing a fetus or an embryo out of the woman s uterus. It is one of the most controversial
problematic issues that is discussed throughout the decades. The topic of abortion was considered as a
social issue that soon became a political and ethical subject. Abortion have become a heated public
distribute on whether its method are morally permissible or not? Individuals have voiced the benefits
and disadvantages of abortion. The extremists of preserving life also known as pro life position
believes that banning abortion in all circumstances is the right thing to do. On the other hand, the
extreme advocates of free choice or pro choice believes that the law should not restrict a woman from
making her own decisions. In the contemporary society, each lives are important; however, women
lives and their decisions are extremely significant and should not be tainted by pregnancies.
Individuals who are against abortion believes in the sacred beauty of life and that everyone deserves to
live; therefore, no individuals can define the life status of a fetus or an embryo. Often, these particular
advocates were taught to believe in one authority their whole lives, and they find it difficult to change
their perspectives and challenge religious dogma. Most of these particular advocates of pro life

Atomic Bomb Dbq
The spring of 1945 marked the completion of the atomic bomb. Created by Franklin Roosevelt in
1939, the Manhattan Project had used 2 billion dollars of taxpayer money to build the atomic bomb,
equating to the most costly government project at the time. Political consequences of such wasted
expenditures if the atomic bomb was never detonated justified dropping the bomb. When scientists
finally witnessed its power in the demonstration at Alamogordo, New Mexico, newfound
repercussions of this weapon of mass destruction propelled the subject to heated debate. Still, the
majority opinion of government officials was to drop the bomb because it would reduce lives lost. Or
at least that is what they told the American people. The alternative plan was invasions on Kyushu and
Honshu, two strategic warfare locations of Japan which were to take place the coming fall and spring.
There was no doubt that many lives would be lost through these invasions. Hisaichi Terauchi, Field
Marshal of Japan, had already announced the execution of 100,000 Allied prisoners to deter any
invasions from taking place. Extreme Japanese war customs also heightened Americans unwillingness
to invade. Gyokusai, the Japanese term for suicide, was considered more honorable than surrendering.
Committed to fighting to the death, Prime Minister Hideki Tojo, in 1944, declared 100 million
gyokusai if circumstances were deemed necessary. The entire nation of Japan was prepared to die.

Weapons Trafficking in Somalia Essay
Weapons trafficking in Somalia is a complex issue with global implications. Extremist organizations,
such as Al Shabaab, appear to be the primary beneficiary to the unrestricted flow of weapons and use
them to achieve their objectives. Furthermore, the availability of weapons, particularly that of small
arms, compromises regional stability and undermines United States strategy. The purpose of this paper
is to address the significance of the arms trafficking network in Somalia by examining the culture in
which it thrives, the motivation of Al Shabaab to obtain them, the sources of illegal arms, and the
United States point of view.

Somalis also have one of the lowest school enrollment rates in the world. Only 20% of primary school
age and 6% secondary school age Somalis are enrolled in school. These numbers contribute to low
literacy, about 37% in adults (TCC, 2011).
The impact
Somalia is a frightening case as all of the individual factors contributing to national instability are
cyclical and compounding. If an effective government is the main pillar supporting all aspects of a
country, then in Somalia, this pillar crumbled in 1991 and has yet to be rebuilt on asolid foundation.
Somali National Security Forces (SNSF) and police forces are ineffective at enforcing law and
providing security at the borders and for the people. According to a United Nations Security Council
(UNSC) report, the SNSF target innocent Somalis through extortion during their operations (UNSC,
2013). In result, Somalia is incapable of attacking the humanitarian catastrophe from within. Somalis
survival of the fittest philosophy and lack of education further separates people from the government.
Somali options
If culture is adaptive behavior in response to their environment, outside in analysis suggests that
Somalis have four viable options of self preservation. The first option is to leave Somalia. This is a
popular choice among many Somalis as the number of refugees fleeing into neighboring countries
rises exponentially each year. The second

Factors Affecting The Airline Industry
Introduction:
The September 11 attacks left a major impact that the airline industry is yet to recover from. Extended
recession and increasing oil prices are the other major factors affecting the growth of the airline
industry. At this scenario, the airlines operating with unoccupied seats make huge losses and
sometimes the airliner even goes bankrupt; for instance, the kingfisher airlines in India has gone
bankrupt due to failure in managing the unoccupied seats and inefficient management in their ticket
pricing strategies. Even the recent disappearances of aircrafts from Malaysian airlines have
unfavorably affected the global airline industry leaving airlines operating with vacant seats.
It is very important for every airliner to create value for their shareholders; ticket pricing is the main
source that an airliner can make revenue from. Therefore, airliners should have strategies that help
them to be sustainable in the industry. I think that my research is on a problem that most of the
airliners are facing today. Especially domestic airliners and the airlines with limited destinations are
making more losses due to improper pricing strategies. This research focusses on creating a value to
the airliner that I will be working for. It also creates value to the shareholders and stakeholders of the
company. As every business is based on the customer satisfaction, my research is achievable if I could
make a good analysis of customers needs and wants.

Role Of Fate In Oedipus The King
The theme of Fate (deed of the gods) versus free will (personal choices and actions) is ever present in
Greek drama. It is the concept that the lead character of a drama has no control over his Fate, which is
preconceived and inevitable. On the other hand, it has been argued that the character did have a choice
in the matter, and ultimately, it s their choices that lead to their destiny being fulfilled. In this essay, I
will be exploring the role of the gods in Sophocles Oedipus the King, and whether or not they are to
blame for his tragic downfall.
Oedipus the King begins with the audience gaining the knowledge that Thebes is in a state of disarray.
This, according to the oracle of Delphi, is due to the fact that the previous king, Laius, has not been
avenged, and that the only way Thebes will return to its previous glory is if the king s murderer takes
account for his actions (Sophocles). Oedipus, the noble and intellectual man that he is, makes a
promise to find whoever was responsible for the death of Laius, and make them atone for their sins. ...

And yet he has been led, either by blind chance or cruel gods, to commit the basest of crimes. All of
this suggests...that human beings are playthings of chance or indifferent gods and hence that it is
impossible for human beings to live nobly or to win the favour and protection of the gods
(Ahrensdorf, 2009).
In conclusion, I believe that the fates played a greater role than we are lead to believe, but I also
believe that the decisions made by all the characters played a pivotal role in the outcome of the drama.
The characters were most definitely given a freedom of choice when it came to almost every decision
they made, but the fates definitely put obstacles in their way, which would inevitably cause them to be
swayed to make rash

The Feminist Perspective of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Essay
The Feminist Perspective of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
In her feminist critique of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Anne Millard Daughtey described Buffy as a
show which obviously promotes female strength and power (159). Buffy herself is a symbol of female
empowerment (149); as feminists we can all take comfort in the fact that Buffy kicks butt and so can
we all (164). Sherryl Vint agrees that Buffy is a positive role model for young women, one which
feminism should celebrate (para. 3). I find this understanding of Buffy, both the character and the
series, to be very problematic, and with this paper I aim to undertake a revised feminist critique of the
show, and expose the Buffyverse as the product of a very traditional patriarchal ... Show more content

Before Buffy and her friends discover this, Dawn has a number of unnerving experiences, in which
people walk up to her staring, saying There s nothing there, you re not real, there s nothing there .
Truly, in the Buffyverse, there is no such thing as woman .
Prior to embarking upon my own analysis of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, it this pertinent to consider
Joss Whedon s envisioning of his series, and in particular, his heroine, Buffy. In interviews he has
often explained his desire to create an alternative ending for the horror movie:
It was pretty much the blond girl in the alley in the horror movie who keeps getting killed ... I felt bad
for her, but she was always much more interesting to me than the other women. She was fun, she had
sex, she was vivacious. But then she would get punished for it. Literally, I just had that image, that
scene, in my mind, like the trailer for a movie what if the girl goes into that dark alley. And the
monster follows her. And she destroys him. (Quoted in Vint, para. 6)
Whilst we see here that Whedon s intention is to subvert the conventional horror movie/slasher genre,
I m not sure that he is successful. He is running the considerable risk of merely replacing the fetishised
female victim with a fetishised female hero; she is still a pretty blond girl, she is still fun, she is still
sexual, she is still Barbie with

What Are The Aspects Of Culture In The Movie Nightcrawler
The film, Nightcrawler displays multiple versions of culture in various ways. Culture is a way of life
or a group of people and the behaviors, beliefs, and values that they accept. Some forms of culture
displayed openly throughout the film, and some are hidden between the images. This film was
recently made in 2014 directed and written by Dan Gilroy. The feature embodies a thrilling tale that
mirrors different aspects of today s culture in an exciting way. One of the main moments of culture
that I noticed in this film is the violence that is shown. In today s culture, violence has become a part
of every day media. It is shown in movies, video games, and even advertisements. This is represented
when Lou tracks down two murderers in attempt to get the perfect shot for the TV news station that he
works for. He witnesses them shooting innocent people inside of a beautiful mansion, then proceeds to

scenarios seem, it shows the culture of today s society and how almost every business is cut throat
these days when competing for what you want. The final example of culture that I recognized was the
profound language. It is a part of every day society nowadays. Cussing and swearing seems as if it s
more acceptable now than it was a few years ago. Throughout the film, characters express their

terrorists release 19 women and children, issue a list of demands, including the release of 700
prisoners held by Israel. 21 more passengers are freed consisting mostly of American women and
children. The terrorists then tell the pilot to fly them to Algiers, Algeria. On June 15, the terrorists land
in Beirut, and one passenger is thrown out onto the tarmac, having been shot in the head. In the
confusion more terrorists are believed to have boarded the plane, the terrorists again say their
demands, and the plane leaves for Algiers.

Dulce Et Decorum Est Patriotism Essay
When warfare demands allegiance from a multitude of soldiers, a person might expect the soldiers to
display heroism and nobility; however, when the world is stricken with this warfare disease, the troops
might possess contradicting feelings especially when they are actually on the battlefield. In Wilfred
Owen s poem Dulce et Decorum Est, the reality of patriotism is illustrated through conflict and
graphic imagery, and it is realized that a soldier s portrayal of patriotism is filled with a harsh reality

Owen uses vivid and detailed wording to illustrate an image as the poem is read. He uses chilling
combat accounts that bring the act of war to life and all the monstrosities with it. To capture the
frustrations of the men in their physically and mentally drained, We cursed through sludge is used to
describe their lack of energy but their will to keep marching on (line 2). To illustrate the hardships
faced by the troops who have lost even their boots, Owen uses his skill of imagery to convey and
intensify the moment saying, But limped on, blood shod (line 6). Additional phrases used with the

air and an ecstasy of fumbling occurs which guides one unlucky man to inhale the toxic fumes leading
him to [flounder] like a man in fire or lime (lines 9, 12). Owen s approach to imagery enhanced the
troublesome patriotic reality and helped the readers understand that war is an ugly

Safe Port Act Of 2006 SAFE Port Act of 2006 Terrorism has been one of the major concerns of the entire world; however, the incident of 9/11 entirely changed the perception of governments towards the issue of terrorism. In this regard, the United States of America has significantly improvised its approach towards dealing with terrorism. The approach of the U.S. is also justifiable as the United States is the only country that had to face the maximum ramifications caused by terrorism as thousands of people have lost their lives in multiple terrorist acts. Moreover, the U.S. has also tolerated the loss of billions of dollars in the shape of loss of capital, and investing in improved military and intelligence services. His work at the UNESCO Headquarter had finally given him a strong name outside of the residential realm. At the beginning of the 1950s the brethren at the Benedictine Abbey of Saint John the Baptist in Collegeville, MN decided it was time to expand their campus. For the project, they decided to interview a series of architectural stars at the time, such as Walter Gropius, Richard Neutra, Pietro Belluschi, Barry Byrne, Eero Saarinen, and Marcel Breuer. In the end, they chose Breuer for his personality, modesty, honesty, listening skills, and for the fact that he took their needs and wishes seriously.15 The construction of the campus started in 1953 with the addition of a new dormitory wing for the monks. In addition to the church and monk dormitory, Breuer would eventually go on to design two student dormitories, a library, and a natural science research department. Construction of the church began in 1958. As if his proposed design of the church building wasn t radicle enough, Breuer ended up adding on a 98 foot trapezoidal bell banner to the front of the church. (Fig. 6) The bell tower holds five bells that were transferred from the previous church on a sail made of concrete risers. A slight resemblance between the bell banner and the Eiffel tower can be seen within the use of smooth curved shaped legs at the base the structure. The bell banner was also constructed to help reflect sun out of the south ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In April 1776 North Carolina s provincial congress met at Halifax and decided to send a message to the Continental Congress. The group called for all the colonies to proclaim their independence from Great Britain. These Halifax Resolves were the first official action by any colony calling for a united drive for independence. Now there was no turning back. Once the members of the Continental Congress signed the Declaration of Independence, only the spilling of much blood would settle the matter. It is the ideal that allows for change when the people desire change. For example, in those days, only free men who owned a certain amount of property were allowed to vote. But since then, the requirement of owning property has been dropped. Women are allowed to vote. Slavery was abolished. Now all adult citizens of the United States (with the exception of those who have committed serious crimes) are allowed to vote. Expanding suffrage the right to vote to a greater number of people means that citizens have greater power over their own government. • 5. Water And Sanitation For The Bolivian People Introduction One of the most studied phenomena in political science is how some countries were able to develop into rich nations while some remained underdeveloped and poor. While the answer to this important question is so unique and complex that it may never be answered, there are some policies that may help a country to develop. One of which is the proper use of foreign aid. Bolivia, like many of the counties in Latin America, is considered to be an LDC with its deeply rooted issued of severe poverty. The country receives large amounts of foreign aid, and even with the reception of foreign aid, Bolivia has seen insignificant changes to its developmental level due to the misuse of funds. The USAID has decided to restore ties with Bolivia and grant the country $1 million. In this paper I will suggest that the grant of these funds is to be used to provide clean sources of water and sanitation for the Bolivian people. In the construction of this argument, I will begin with a broad summary of Bolivia s developmental status, along with its nature, and the effect it has on its citizens. Next, I will outline that the channeling of these funds will through NGOs and will go towards the building of water purification and sanitation systems in both urban and rural areas. Third, I will explain why this form of aid is the most effective method that will help Bolivia to overcome its lack of development. I conclude that this particular approach to aiding Bolivia will offer and institute ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Dramaturgical Metaphor Erving Goffman Erving Goffman s above statement, referencing actors and public image, is a clear allusion to his dramaturgical metaphor, which is one branch of his work on symbolic interactionism. His dramaturgical metaphor delves into the premise that we are all actors who perform to others as our audience (Goffman, 1990). It is this metaphor which will be evaluated and analysed for its sociological significance, as well as the practical implications of the statement above, and what it means to be sociologically significant. Many other sociologists have also tackled the depths of Symbolic Interactionism, or the themes explored by the dramaturgical metaphor, of the likes of, Mead and Blumer. Their insights and contributions will be discussed concerning Goffman s statement. However, it is Goffman s dramaturgical metaphor which will be of the most help in evaluating the statement given and its sociological significance. Although, as relayed above, other sociologists work, such as Meads idea of the self being split into the I and the Me, and their individual functions will be important in helping us further evaluate the statement, and its sociological significance (Pampel, 2007). Income Inequality Of The United States The United States is often viewed as a wealthy and stable country, but as shown in 2011, the richest fifth of American households received about 51.1 percent of total income, while the poorest fifth received about 3.2 percent (McConnell). There are many sources of income inequality that effect poverty in the United States and the role that discrimination plays in reducing and increasing wages for different people and how the people of the United States are affected by it. The average household income in the United States is, in fact, one of the highest in the world. Unfortunately, does not provide information about income inequality. There are two ways to measure income inequality: distribution by income category and distribution by quintiles. Distribution by income category involves looking at the percentages of households in a series of income categories. Distribution of quintiles involves dividing the total number of households into five equal groups or quintiles and to compare it with the percentage of personal income. The Lorenz Curve is a way to display the quintile distribution. In a graph showing the Lorenz curve, there is one straight, up sloping diagonal line that represents a perfectly equal distribution of income, and a second curve of the actual quintile data that becomes the Lorenz curve. The space in between the two lines represents the amount of income inequality there is. This information can then be converted into a Gini ratio which is the numerical ... • 10. The Paradox Of Emotions In Noel Carroll s The Philosophy... The genre of horror films have been spooking audiences since the early 1900s with films such as The Abominable Snowman and Nosferatu. Although fans of these movies are scared, they continue to watch to the movies every decade despite their fears. This drive to see movies that induce fear but an overall avoidance to fear is known as a paradox of horror films. In 1990, Noel Carroll outlined the paradox of horror in his book entitled The Philosophy of Horror. Carroll discussed in his book at least three theories that could solve the paradox of horror but each are flawed. The two theories that are connected the most with experience and the knowledge of what a horror movie experience is the illusion theory and the thought theory of emotions but Carroll leaves out Edmund Burke s sublime in his discussion of the paradox of horror. This concept of Burke s sublime can be used without flaw to dissolve the paradox of horror films unlike the illusion theory or the thought theory of emotions. When you are in the situation you do not realize how bad it is until you are almost dead or in jail. Representative Morris Udall decided the letter was not to be ignored and what Ridenhour claimed had happened needed to be investigated. Results: Neighborhood Randomization Using Sub Graph Perturbation In order for people to mine valuable data from social network graphs they must first be given information about the network. Even without explicit information about the nodes, an attacker may use structural information about the nodes and graph itself (e.g. node degree) to identify who the individuals are that the nodes represent. Simple graph wise randomization addresses this problem by deleting k randomly chosen edges and replacing them with k randomly chosen edges, however a problem arises since data miners depend on these structural attributes to properly analyze the social network. Fard and Wang [fard wang] propose a structure aware algorithm for the randomization of social network edges as well as a formal definition of link privacy with respect to a probabilistic threshold. Their motivation is to help conceal sensitive links by using randomization techniques, without disturbing the actual structure of the graph, which is achieved through local neighborhood perturbation. This is needed so that graphs can be analyzed without the link structure being left entirely vulnerable to attackers. The goal of their algorithm is to make it so that an adversary cannot know if a link in the original graph exists from having a link in the new graph. Problem definition: Given a ... This vagueness between BA and BPM roles creates confusion in practice and academia, which impacts on role designs, skills assessment, human resource development, recruitment and professional development. The impact of such was made clear at a Leonardo Process Days 2010 conference panel where BA and BPM role differentiation was reviewed. An outcome of this discussion was a consensus that i) Practitioners struggle to recognise and articulate the skills required (BA, BPM or both?) for various organisational initiatives and how to locate appropriate talent to fill these roles ii) Academics fail to position BA and BPM as separate professions and often bundle them as the same in their course descriptions and marketing iii) Students and prospective candidates for employment vacancies therefore remain confused about the specific skill sets required of a BPM professional a nd/ or a Business Analyst. Either standing up in the face of injustice, or following the crowd. This is also known as peer pressure. The Lottery, written by Shirley Jackson, is a fictional short story about a lottery that takes place in a village every summer. First, every family has a representative that draws a slip of paper, then every member of the winning family draws, and however gets a black dot on their paper wins, which means that person gets stoned to death. Then, First They Came, by Martin Niemoller, a man who wrote about his perspective on justice and indifference based from his experience of not standing up for others in the face of injustice. The two stories, The Lottery, and First They Came, deal with injustice, but they do so in different ways. In the first place, The Lottery deals with injustice throughout the story. At the beginning, where no one stood up and said that the lottery was wrong and should not be used anymore, when no one said anything when Bill Hutchinson drew the marked paper for his family, to when Tessie Hutchison won the lottery and everyone just went along with it like everything was fine. Created by Franklin Roosevelt in 1939, the Manhattan Project had used 2 billion dollars of taxpayer money to build the atomic bomb, equating to the most costly government project at the time. Political consequences of such wasted expenditures if the atomic bomb was never detonated justified dropping the bomb. When scientists finally witnessed its power in the demonstration at Alamogordo, New Mexico, newfound repercussions of this weapon of mass destruction propelled the subject to heated debate. Still, the majority opinion of government officials was to drop the bomb because it would reduce lives lost. Or at least that is what they told the American people. The alternative plan was invasions on Kyushu and Honshu, two strategic warfare locations of Japan which were to take place the coming fall and spring. There was no doubt that many lives would be lost through these invasions. Hisaichi Terauchi, Field Marshal of Japan, had already announced the execution of 100,000 Allied prisoners to deter any invasions from taking place. Extreme Japanese war customs also heightened Americans unwillingness to invade. Gyokusai, the Japanese term for suicide, was considered more honorable than surrendering. Extended recession and increasing oil prices are the other major factors affecting the growth of the airline industry. At this scenario, the airlines operating with unoccupied seats make huge losses and sometimes the airliner even goes bankrupt; for instance, the kingfisher airlines in India has gone bankrupt due to failure in managing the unoccupied seats and inefficient management in their ticket pricing strategies. Even the recent disappearances of aircrafts from Malaysian airlines have unfavorably affected the global airline industry leaving airlines operating with vacant seats. It is very important for every airliner to create value for their shareholders; ticket pricing is the main source that an airliner can make revenue from. Therefore, airliners should have strategies that help them to be sustainable in the industry. I think that my research is on a problem that most of the airliners are facing today. Especially domestic airliners and the airlines with limited destinations are making more losses due to improper pricing strategies. • 37. Role Of Fate In Oedipus The King The theme of Fate (deed of the gods) versus free will (personal choices and actions) is ever present in Greek drama. It is the concept that the lead character of a drama has no control over his Fate, which is preconceived and inevitable. On the other hand, it has been argued that the character did have a choice in the matter, and ultimately, it s their choices that lead to their destiny being fulfilled. In this essay, I will be exploring the role of the gods in Sophocles Oedipus the King, and whether or not they are to blame for his tragic downfall. Oedipus the King begins with the audience gaining the knowledge that Thebes is in a state of disarray. This, according to the oracle of Delphi, is due to the fact that the previous king, Laius, has not been avenged, and that the only way Thebes will return to its previous glory is if the king s murderer takes account for his actions (Sophocles). Oedipus, the noble and intellectual man that he is, makes a promise to find whoever was responsible for the death of Laius, and make them atone for their sins. ... All of this suggests...that human beings are playthings of chance or indifferent gods and hence that it is impossible for human beings to live nobly or to win the favour and protection of the gods (Ahrensdorf, 2009). In conclusion, I believe that the fates played a greater role than we are lead to believe, but I also believe that the decisions made by all the characters played a pivotal role in the outcome of the drama. The characters were most definitely given a freedom of choice when it came to almost every decision they made, but the fates definitely put obstacles in their way, which would inevitably cause them to be swayed to make rash ... Sherryl Vint agrees that Buffy is a positive role model for young women, one which feminism should celebrate (para. 3). Prior to embarking upon my own analysis of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, it this pertinent to consider Joss Whedon s envisioning of his series, and in particular, his heroine, Buffy. In interviews he has often explained his desire to create an alternative ending for the horror movie: It was pretty much the blond girl in the alley in the horror movie who keeps getting killed ... (Quoted in Vint, para. 6) Whilst we see here that Whedon s intention is to subvert the conventional horror movie/slasher genre, I m not sure that he is successful. Some forms of culture displayed openly throughout the film, and some are hidden between the images. This film was recently made in 2014 directed and written by Dan Gilroy. The feature embodies a thrilling tale that mirrors different aspects of today s culture in an exciting way. One of the main moments of culture that I noticed in this film is the violence that is shown. In today s culture, violence has become a part of every day media. It is shown in movies, video games, and even advertisements. This is represented when Lou tracks down two murderers in attempt to get the perfect shot for the TV news station that he works for.
