2. The Pros And Cons Of Current Account Deficit
The current account is an important component of the balance of trade system of our
country. It is a measurement of a country s trade where the value of the goods and
services it exports. A current account deficit represents negative sales abroad. A country
undergoing current account deficit results in foreign liabilities and debt with the rest of
the world. This further leads to payback of foreign current accountreserves. Current
Account includes imports and exports of goods and services and unilateral transfers of
goods and services. Current account deficit in simple words is the economic situation
when the total imports are more than the exports. This means that the country is
importing more than exporting which requires the country to pay for the goods and
services it imports. This leads to an unfavorable economic situation. The present record is

A positive current record adjust demonstrates that the country is a net moneylender to
whatever is left of the world, while a negative current record adjusts shows that it is a
net borrower from whatever is left of the world. A present record surplus builds a
country s net remote resources by the measure of the overflow, and a present record
shortfall diminishes it by that sum. A nation s adjust of current account is the net or
distinction between the nation s exports of products and enterprises and its imports of
merchandise and ventures, disregarding all money related current accounts,
speculations, and different segments, over a given timeframe. A nation is said to have
a current account surplus if its export surpass its imports and a current account deficit if
its imports surpass its current account. Positive net deals abroad, by and large, adds to a
present record overflow; negative net deals abroad, for the most part, adds to a present

Step One: Summarize the issue you have chosen and state the position you will argue.
I am going to argue that the fourth grade teacher who posted a banner in his room that
said What Would Jesus Do? has violated the Establishment Clause of the First
Amendment. In order to avoid violating this clause, the banner must pass every prong of
the Lemon test. However, this particular banner does not.
Step Two: List the legal standards and how they will apply to your case and argument.
The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment is the legal standard that pertains to
this particular argument. When assessing whether the banner in question violates the

Case One: Stone v. Graham Supreme Court of the United States 449 U.S. 39
In this case, petitioner private citizens filed a suit against the superintendent of public
schools in Kentucky, James Graham. Sydell and a number of other parents challenged
the Kentucky state law requiring the posting of the Ten Commandments in every public
school classroom. Each plaque would be purchased with private contributions and would
have that statement, The secular application of the Ten Commandments is clearly seen in
its adoption as the fundamental legal code of Western Civilization and the Common Law
of the United States. The private citizens claimed that the statue violated the First
Amendment and sought an injunction against its enforcement. The state supreme court
held that the statue s purpose was secular and it would neither advance nor inhibit any
religion or religious group nor involve the state excessively in religious matters. On
appeal, the United States Supreme Court held that the statue had no secular legislative
purpose and was, therefore, unconstitutional. The purpose for posting the Ten
Commandments was clearly religious due to the fact that they are sacred in the Jewish
and Christian faiths, therefore violating the Establishment Clause of the First
Amendment. This particular case will support my argument by confirming that hanging

4. Fish Reader Response Criticism
Fish s Reader Response Criticism is composed of two interdependent ideas: first, that
the meaning of texts is shaped by the reading experience itself, and second, that these
meanings cannot be judged to be correct or incorrect, but merely belonging to one
interpretive community or another. The first idea may be identified as the executive
aspect of Reader Response Criticism because it analyzes the act of reading, while the
second idea is the epistemological aspect of the theory because it circumscribes the
knowledge we can acquire about a text to the merely relative. Studied independently,
each aspect of Reader Response Theory offers by itself strong arguments countervailing
the formalist stance of the New Critics. But as we will see,... Show more content on

This excerpt begins at the level of innate human concepts (flesh) and proceeds through
the more concrete level of medical terminology (muscles, blood, epidermis) and onwards
through an evocative metaphor (red cloud). Before the reader reaches the final clause (
whose soul is lightning ), he has built up an expectation that a culminating trope will
be used to close the sentence, as is usual. Instead, the fragment ends with whose soul is
lightning which refers not to the red cloud, but to the flesh itself. In other words, the
red cloud is not the object of the concluding clause, but a psychological multiplier: the
reader sees a red cloud (associated with storms) and then sees lightning exacerbated by
the immediately preceding image. Now the reader possesses a clear mental picture of
the passionate flesh, but the strange syntax (both in French and English) leaves him
uncertain about what exactly the text has said: is lightning the soul of the flesh? Is the
soul the lightning emitted by the flesh? This is an important point is the soul passion?
Or is passion simply one of several manifestations of the soul? Yourcenar has
deliberately shrouded this discussion in complex syntax because the distinction itself
confounds us. If you are lost as to what exactly the text says right now, Yourcenar has
achieved her aim. Now take a look at Grace Frick s artful translation of the same text:
The flesh itself, that amazing instrument of muscles, blood, and skin, that
5. The Case Of The Conflicted Surgeon
The Case of the Conflicted Surgeon Conflicts of interest are a common topic discussed
in news outlets as it is a major source of corruption amongst professionals. Most
professionals rely on their own moral compasses to make ethical decisions.
Unfortunately, this approach does not always work as studies have shown that
professionals can often recognize conflicts of interest for others, but fail to recognize
them in their own lives. Thus, some professionals take part in activities that often lead
to legal actions taken against them which may result in the loss of their practitioner s
license. This paper will define what a conflict of interest is, what makes it unethical, how
best to manage it when it occurs, and apply it to a case study to... Show more content on

Because being a professional invites trust and vulnerability from their clients, a
professional has both an obligation and a duty to maintain and appear trustworthy.
Conflicts of interest are unethical because it decreases a person s trustworthiness, and
that that trust is essential in a professional client relationship. Professionals have a duty
to both their clients and the public to be trustworthy and reliable. Therefore, anything
that undermines or compromises a professional s trustworthiness is unethical. It could
be said that if a conflict of interest is morally wrong, then it implies that the
professional lacks virtues such as loyalty and integrity, and it creates the impression
that the professional will be unreliable. It is because of this that conflicts of interest are
best to be avoided at all costs, or if it is unavoidable, then disclose what the conflict of
interest is and manage the situation. If it is possible, it is preferable that that the
professional removes themselves from the situation before it becomes a possible conflict
of interest. To do this, they could either divest themselves from the situation, or recuse
themselves from any kind of decision making process. For example, a land surveyor
could hire someone else to survey the land that they own; by doing so, they have
removed themselves from the situation. When a conflict of interest is unavoidable, then
all pertinent information should be disclosed, and the

7. Essay History of Web Design
Web Design is a field that has been around for only thirty years, but has evolved
drastically throughout that time. HTML has changed much, and new scripting languages
such as CSS and JavaScript to name two, have arisen to help tackle the challenge that
web development can be. From basic text pages to fully interactive sites, the world of
web development has made significant leaps consistently throughout its short lifetime.
In the 1960 s a concept for HTML was created by Ted Nelson, a Harvard graduate. His
work was never used until the 1980 s, when the internet was introduced because of a lack
of need for it. At the time, HTML was the only option for web development, and there
was not much freedom when it came to design. Sites were basic, ... Show more content on

No longer are plugins a necessity to add multimedia content.
Another large part of today s web design scene is mobile web development. With so
many people owning phones and other mobile devices, mobile development has
become a necessity in a world of technology that is becoming increasingly smaller and
more portable. Statistics show that over twenty percent of Google searches are done
on a mobile device, and that twenty five percent of internet users access the internet
exclusively from their mobile devices. The need for mobile web development is
growing fast. Mobile web design focuses on simplification. It is designed to be simpler
on a smaller screen, making navigation easier. A drawback is that using Flash is not
possible currently, which was a game changer in early web design.
The future of web design is not clear. Many people make the judgment of what it is
going to be. Some people predict that responsive, all on one page websites that flow
easily through all browser types, because of the rise in mobile users. Other people will
say that the future is programs such as Adobe Reflow and Macaw, which allow web
designers to draw websites, which creates code to suit the site as it is drawn. Others
say that fast, responsive sites are the future, to level out loading speeds across all
devices. They could all be right. One thing is for certain though, the traditional form of
creating sites will be taken over

other variants.
Microtubes made of copper: Counting on the look, you should see that it is a bit longer

9. Mental Illness Refers To A Wide Range Of Mental Health
Mental illness refers to a wide range of mental health disorders that can affect mood,
behavior, and cognition. Multiple factors such as genetics, environment and lifestyle can
influence whether someone develops a mental health condition. The four D s model is
often used in psychiatry to distinguish normal from abnormal mental state. In other
words, this model makes it easier to understand characteristics of people who have a
mental disorder. The four Ds stands for behaviors or thinking processes that are
dangerous, dysfunctional, and can cause distress and deviation from norm (Comer,
2013). It s the dangerous aspect that needs to be brought to attention. Because people

As research continues to improve and provide more evidence in the field of mental health
, society is becoming more accepting of new views on mental illnesses. Nevertheless,
some people still stigmatize patients with mental health disorders. There are two types of
mental health stigma: social stigma is the prejudicial attitudes and discriminating
behaviors directed toward people with mental health problems, while self stigma is the
internalizing by the person with mental health illness of their perceptions of
discrimination; perceived stigma can significantly affect feelings of shame and lead to
poorer treatment outcomes.
When it comes to social stigma, some believe that mental health illnesses are not real
disorders because there are no medical tests that can confirm or disconfirm their
presence. Others think that only weak people are affected by these disorders because
there are unable to deal with everyday challenges, some even believe that people merely
fake symptoms to attract attention (CCHRI, 2017). In addition, they might believe that
people with mental illness can overcome it by thinking more positively. Unfortunately,
even those who believe that mental illness is real, can still view symptoms of
psychopathology as threatening and uncomfortable. Such attitudes frequently foster
stigma and discrimination towards people with mental health problems. Studies have
suggested that stigmatizing attitudes towards people with mental health problems are still
10. Medieval Housewife
Have you ever thought about how it would be to live in the medieval time period? The
poor were living a humble life and the wealthy lived in sufficient, yet austere comfort
for the period. There are several fascinating aspects of a burgher s home. However,
there are only a few core components that give a genuine glimpse into the life of a
burgher. They are that burghers lived in splendid estates, the lifestyle of a medieval
housewife and that women of the era had positions of power with in the church. But just
like any story it is best to start at the beginning. And for a burgher his or her beginning or
foundation is the house they share. During this period of time it was not uncommon for

The idyllic woman for this era was one that was slender, had blond hair, and had light

would use lotions to lighten the pigment in their skin. But looking the part was not the

the morning was to shop for food. This was a daily task due to the lack of

is not small. The price for chicken was about four denier and for a rabbit about five

11. Tyranny In Greece
In the ancient Greek city states and over many centuries, the government (political
power) took many forms: held by a single individual: (monarchies and tyrants), or by a
select few (oligarchies and aristocracies), or by every male citizen (democracy).
A monarchy is a type of governance of the people by a single individual, with the power
retained by blood lines. In the pre Classical period, ancient Greece was composed of
small geographic units ruled by a local king.
People in these small geographic units, paid taxes to the king, obeyed his laws, and
depended on him for their defense.
Greek monarchies were only distinguishable from a tyranny when the hereditary ruler
was more caring and ruled in the genuine interest of his people.

However, Greek tyrants were not necessarily evil rulers, they simply looked after their
own interests (e.g. Pisistratus rule in Athens).
Sparta avoided tyranny, probably because of the need for unity amongst citizens against
helots.
As Tyranny governments have the tendency at being insecure, and try to maintain their
power by becoming increasingly oppressive; they decline in ancient Greece because
tyrants became greedy and harsh and were overthrown.
Democracy is the rule by the people (governance by the people).
Democracy was based on principle that all citizens of the city state of Athens had right to
attend and speak at assembly (women, slaves metics were not citizens).
The most important political posts were the 10 generals that were elected by the
assembly each year. Citizens were brought in by random lottery to serve on the
Assembly for one year. Assembly members decisions were made through public debate
and voting. The Council (smaller group) was responsible for day today running of

When talking about the external stakeholders of the company, it is important to
highlight a case where P G s unethical practices seem to be more prevalent and well
known. That is the palm oil case of Sumatra, Indonesia. Palm oil is a substance found in
beauty and household care products of P G s. P G bought the majority of their palm oil
from a company called BW Plantation which operates in Kalimatan, Indonesia and other
parts of Southeast Asia. However, BW Plantation is regarded among the top companies
in the world notorious for their unethical exercises of deforestation in the business world.
Between 2010 and 2014, BW Plantation converted over 7,000 hectares of land to palm
oil plantation and destroyed over 6,000 hectares of forests. Their unethical practice of
deforestation in the SumatraJungle have also caused endangered species such as the
Sumatran Orangutan, Rhino and Tiger be on the verge of extinction. In 2014, an
environmental friendly organization, GreenPeace, reported that, The palm oil sector is
currently the greatest single driver of deforestation in Indonesia, accounting for about a
quarter of all forest loss. The report also stated that as few as 400 Sumatran Tigers and
7,500 Sumatran Orangutans are thought to remain in the jungle.
P G not only has unethical relations with their internal stakeholders, but also with their
external relationships. When looking at P G s relationship with their customers, suppliers
and partners, community, and the
13. The Angry Black Man Analysis
The Angry Woman, The Angry Arab, The Angry Black Man. These are labels given to
people in today s society who for speaking out on injustice in the world. Is this fair?
Are these individuals out of line for getting angry at injustice? To explore this topic we
will take use an example from Nora Berenstain s essay Epistemic Exploitation, of a
woman named Summer who believes her department of Philosophy had sexist biased in
the decision to reward fellowships to only male graduate students. She also points out the
department is known for covering up issues of sexual harassmentand harboring
perpetrators of sexual harassment, some of which she has personally experienced.
When confiding in a male cohort, Dean, he says her accounts are a misrepresentation
of the department, and that there are, only a few bad apples . Likewise, he minimizes
Summer s points and says she is just upset that she did not win a fellowship from the
department. If Summer were to at this point get angry at the situation, she would be
justified in her anger because of her perspective in the situation, and Dean as a member
of the oppressor group is in the wrong for trying to discredit and perpetuate the gender
oppressive environment. To begin, we should discuss two opposing views on the
aptness of anger. A classic stoic argument on anger comes from the first century roman
philosopher Seneca, in his book On Anger. In his first extract of his book Seneca
describes how anger is uncontrollable and therefore useless (Seneca, 101). To support
this, in the second extract, Seneca rebukes the argument that anger can be used as
motivation, by stating that he believes virtue and moral outrage at injustice can provide
enough motivation to make change (Seneca, 103). Further, in his third extract, Seneca
argues that anger should not be used as motivation because he believes the very nature of
anger is precarious, therefore untrustworthy. Rather, humans have been equipped with
reason for both foreseeing issues, and to use as motive for change (Seneca, 104). Thus,
Seneca says gaining control and overcoming ones emotions is the only way to live a
productive in making change to moral injustice in the world.
In contrast to Seneca, Amia Srinivasan has an

minuets, I heard my name from him. Reagan what happened to my good luck charm?
He said to me. Ever since his first race, he always had good luck if I was with him.
Saying that made me laugh. Not much of a charm today, maybe next time. I remember

opportunity to do a research paper that involved this vast and seemingly boundless
electronic world. It is easy to passively interact with the rest of the world and scan
effortlessly through millions of pages of information, some of which is useful, some of
which simply takes up space; the problem that many researchers and interest groups face
is making sense of the whole thing.
What effects does the internet have on people? This question is no doubt an immense
one. In this paper I will attempt to explore the effects the internet has on one major
aspect of our everyday lives: television. The internet is not

According to the information thrown from the course reveals that over the past 30
years, assessments of the woodfuel situation in developing countries, have changed
substantially. In the mid 1970s, recognition that huge and growing numbers of people
depended on fuelwood as their principal domestic fuel led to predictions of potentially
devastating depletion of forest resources, with serious negative livelihood
consequences for the rural poor, unless action was taken to address this fuelwood crisis
(Arnold,J.E, and Gunnar Hlin 2006). Charcoal consumption is often growing faster than
fuelwood consumption. Though still less relative to fuelwood in most of Asia,
charcoal use is becoming a much larger part of the woodfuels total in Africa and South
America. In Africa, the aggregate of consumption of fuelwood and wood for charcoal is
growing at a rate close to that of population growth. The overall quantities involved, and
the numbers still relying on woodfuels continue to be very large. The International
Energy Agency recently estimated that, although shifts to other sources of energy could
be expected to substantially reduce the share of these fuels by 2030, biomass energy
will still account for an mated three quarters of total residential energy in Africa in that
year, and that the number of people using fuelwood and other biomass fuel in that region
will rise by more than 40% during 2000 30 to about 700 million. In Asia, even though
consumption is declining, there will

As I began reading James Baldwins passage, Notes of a Native son , I was immediately
filled with emotion. He began his very first sentence by stating that his father had died. I
started to imagine to myself, what it would be like if I was Baldwin. I could not imagine
what I would do if I lost my father today. He is my hero. I have some previous
knowledge of the Harlem riots because I did a project on them when I was a junior,
but reading Baldwin s first hand experience opened my eyes even further. I
sympathized most with Baldwin when he said that he hardly ever talked to his father
before he died. His father was a mean and scary man. I am so thankful for my dad. He
is always there for me and supports me in all that I do. I talk to him every single day
and could not imagine it any other way. In 2009, my uncle committed suicide. It wasn
t until after he died that I realized how rarely we actually talked. I regret that almost
every day. Death is a painful eye opener. I really liked the way Baldwin went into
detail describing his father and who he truly was. He explained the way his father
treated others and why he was the way he was. It was because of that detail, that I was
able to empathize and understand why Baldwin resented his father. I would have felt
the same way if I would have grown up with a father like his. It was truly disheartening
to read about his father s illness. It completely took over his body, mentally and
19. Evolution Of Tigers
Evolution of Tigers
Tigers are amazing creatures that have gone through several evolutionary changes from
the beginning of their species. A modern day tiger is most recognizable for their pattern
of dark vertical stripes on orange fur with a white underside. The largest modern day
tiger in record was eleven feet tall and weighed 387 pounds. In the terms of science tigers
are under the classification of roaring tigers and the scientific name of a tiger is Panthera
tigris. But in order to learn about about the evolutionary changes of the tigers of today; it
is important to look at the the core definition of evolution itself and the history of the
adaptations that lead to the modern tiger. The adaptation of various ancestors shaped the

Tigers are always adapting and scientists speculate that there were several more
subspecies in the past that are extinct now. Tigers like the South China tiger are already
believed to be on their road to extinction but subspecies evolved from that such as the
Bengal tigers are still living well through the population of evolution. Beautiful creatures
like the White tiger haven t even been seen in the wild since the 1950s. So time and
money is being spent on research to not lose any more subspecies of
20. Informal Rules By Ledeneva Sparknotes
Summary: The book is an unusual view to post soviet Russian economy and politics,
tracking on the origins and consequences of informal practices. Apparently as Ledeneva
constants, similar terminology like informal institutions or informal rules differs from
the meaning of informal practices. Also, as an outsider in a new territory, the author
explains concepts to walk through the lector to a closer comprehension of Russian
politics. In the following paragraphs, I will introduce the author s ideas about this
concepts, as a glossary: Formal and informal coercion Formal and informal restrictions
have the same role in informal practices; instantly adjusted to legal modifications but, are
a barrier for improvement. Informal practices are... Show more content on

It has seven chapters, that explains the main issues in the regime as it follows: In
chapter one, Ledeneva does a political and economic overview considering the lack of
transparency of both sectors, also linked to the present dominance of the unwritten rules
in every field. To fully comprehend the unwritten rules , it is useful to look at the
advantages and limitations of informal practices. In this chapter, Ledeneva also detects
the limitations of post soviet institutional framework and how it affects to informal
practices. The chapter two is focused in the political progress of post soviet era. The
success of the competitive elections associated with manipulative technologies referred
as a black PR favored that political consultants manipulated the legal system in benefit of
their clients. The chapter comprises a study of the legal gaps utilized, their ways of
manipulation and other factors that involved the proliferation of the new regime. PR
practices proceed with the use of compromising information also called Kompromat, to
attack political components and business competitors. The proliferation of the
kompromat resulted in: privatization of security services, an independent press and PR
21. The Museum Of Outdoor Arts
John Madden and his daughter, Cynthia Madden Leitner founded the Museum of
Outdoor Arts (MOA) in 1981. When the museum first opened, there were nineteen art
acquisitions on display, all public outdoor sculptures, establishing the mission
statement of making art a part of everyday life. The first building the MOA offices
resided in was Orchard Falls in Greenwood Village; since then, the museum moved
four or five times within the Arapahoe county. Currently, the Museum of Outdoor Arts
occupies a space in the Englewood Civic Center on the second floor across from the
courts. In 2000, MOA moved from Greenwood Village to Englewood, incorporating
indoor galleries, offices, and a workshop studio into the new location. Five to six staff
members run the museum, hiring interns and independent contractors as needed. A
board of trustees and an advisory committee guide the policies of the museum and
make legal decisions. The board of trustees has four members consisting of the
President of the Board, the Vice President, the Treasurer, and the Secretary, while the
advisory committee has eight members. The museum curates and manages over 200 art
pieces within its collection. The museum acquires at least one new art piece a year to
exhibit in one of the public locations the museum manages. Marjorie Park in Greenwood
Village and the Englewood Civic Center Sculpture Garden are the two main sites for
MOA to exhibit acquisitions and large pieces from the collection. Marjorie Park, formally
22. Different And Important Elements Within Graphics Design
Introduction: I will discuss several different and important elements within graphics
design. Specifically speaking, I will provide a discussion on the hardware and
software and how these have an impact on graphic work. E.g.: A graphics card,
PaintShop, memory digital camera drivers and much more. Additionally, I will explain
the different file formats (using examples) as well as their features and limitations; I
will come to a conclusion to which of these suit certain graphical products. Adding on
from this report, I will compare the limitations of hardware/software where I will select
two graphic related hardware devices and compare their limitations the limitations of
raster will also be compared. With the final point adding, I will... Show more content on

Furthermore, images on a monitor are made up of pixels (very tiny dots) the
processor works closely together with several software s and eventually sends data
/information about an image to the graphics card. What the graphics card does next is
it decides how to use pixels on a monitor to create and actually make the image visible
(all this information is sent through a video cable, directly to the monitor). As a result, a
graphics card impacts graphical work because it is used to display image contents on the
monitor and process changes in graphics. в—¦ RAM = This is an acronym for Random
Access Memory which is the internal memory within a computer. RAM is a container
which holds applications/programs, documents and files every time they re at run or
graphic files that have been opened. When a user insists on opening any type of file,
there is a process that is used each time this happens. E.g.: When a software application
is at run, the program is copied directly to the hard disk of the computer. This is then
copied to RAM and, very quickly, it travels through to the processor. While saying that,
the more RAM is available, the better, as Flash and ROM take up a lot of space.
Roughly about 128 256MB (or more) is needed to for the best performances. It is often
confused that a brand new computer may resolve the issue of a computer
23. The Hobbit Songs
The mountain smoked beneath the moon; The dwarves, they heard the tramp of
doom.(15) The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien is a tale comprised almost solely of mystique
and heroics. One facet of this precious story is given through song. The songs are
meant to give a picture of the past and also to foreshadow what is to come. In the case
of the dwarf party, their songs spoke of a past event, the moving of a wind over the
land, and their triumphant return to the halls of their ancestors. Song singing is a great
medium for sharing information as well as feelings, and Tolkien used this medium
well. First, the first song we hear through the book is Misty Mountain and was sung by
the dwarves pining for their ancestral home. Thorin started the song and all joined in the
retelling of their greatest defeat. They sing of a return to their home and of the
wondrous happenings that once occurred there. Smaug s coming is the solemn climax of
this sorrowful song. The mountain smoked beneath the moon; The dwarves, they heard
the tramp of doom. They fled their hall to dying fall Beneath his feet, beneath the moon.
(15) Grimly Misty Mountain sets up the book as a serious journey of a wronged people
to restore their honor and family. The song delves deeper into the dwarves character and
shows the determination to get justice and reclaim what is theirs, but in addition it shows
them as a sophisticated race that were once kings and craftsmen. Misty Mountain leaves
you feeling haunted and in
24. The Effects Of Sports Specialization In Sports
While specializing in sports has increased in young athletes, we are now learning more
about the side effects of specializing. The research states that in the United States, there
is nearly 72% of school aged youth that participated in one organized sports team or
club. Out of 1200 youth athletes, there was 30% of young athletes that reported that they
are specialized in a single sport(Myer et.al 66). In the United States the increase in
organized sports as increased from children 6 years and younger starting at 9% in 1997
to 12% in 2008. At the High schoollevel, there has been an increase in sports
specialization (Jayanthi 251). Although specializing in a sport may allow an athlete to be
strong in that sport, it also can hurt athletes that specializing in a sport.
Backdrop of Sports specializationSports Specialization in young athletes has been on
the rise, looking into when, why, who and even if a young athlete should consider this
option comes with some very interesting side effects, both positive and negative. Sports
Specialization is defined as playing one sport more than 8 months out of a year and
quitting any other sport, or choosing not to play any other sports. Specializing in a sport
has become more and more popular with coaches, parents, and athletes (Myer et.al 65).
Specialization in sports has been around for a long time in the Eastern Europe. The
relative success of their sports system of these former communist countries have
contributed to early
25. The Importance Of Change In The World
The first thing I would do is gone to the future and find the cure for different disease. I
would also make sure that 9/11 never happened, also the two world wars would never
happen. Another thing I would stop is all the presidents/good leaders being
assassinated. then I would see who created the first light bulb. Then I would do is go
into the future and get the best technology. The final thing I would do is go back and
stop almost every natural disaster. The reason I wouldn t stop every single one is
because the world would be overpopulated. Second, I would do with my time machine
is go back to time and uncover all of history s mysteries and be a crime solver. For
example, what happened to the people of Roanoke Island. Another thing I... Show more

Also I would go back in time to where I first get fat and stop that. Then I would go back
and fix me not working out. Finally, I would go back and change my grades. Next, I
would do is get a bunch of money from cheating the system. For example, I would go
to the future and get the winning lottery numbers, and place my bet and get the
winnings. Another thing I would do is find out the winning horses and cash in my bet.
The final thing I would goes to Las Vegas and play blackjack and find out what the dealer
s cards are. What I would do with all this money is go and get solar panels for the whole
world and build houses for the homeless. Also, what I could do is give money to the dog
shelter so no other dog is ever killed or abused. Then, I would go back in time and have
fun. Like go to the sixties and having some stuff. Maybe go to places that like having
explosions, but like not harm people. Maybe watch like the first episode of family guy.
Maybe watch the first color movie. See what drive ins were like. Finally just ride a
dinosaur. Also, I would do is go back in time and watch the world s histories just
unfold. For example, see what it was like for Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Then I would
watch the Revolutionary War, from a safe distance at least. Next I would just go and
look at Osama bin Laden being assassinated. Second last I would I would see the moon
landing from a TV but still. The final thing I would do is see what me and my friends
did when we were
26. Anger Is A Basic Human Emotion That Is Experienced By All...
Anger is a basic human emotion that is experienced by all people (Mills, 2005). It is a
natural response, triggered when someone feels hurt or mistreated. However, it is not
just a clear cut emotion that consists of one general feeling that is the same for
everyone. The levels of anger that a person feels may not always be identical and there
are varying degrees of responses that someone can express when they are experiencing
this sentiment. How often a person gets angry, how intensely they feel this emotion, and
how long it lasts varies for every individual. This results in a range of intensity of the
anger that they express. Moreover, how a person decides to handle this emotional
signal can be a decisive factor as to any consequential effects that may occur. Some
forms of expression are perfectly healthy and normal for a person to exhibit,
meanwhile others pose more serious problems. When it is well managed, anger has
very few detrimental health or interpersonal consequences (Mills, 2005). Nevertheless,
when someone demonstrates hostility they not only increase [their] risk for an early
death, but also risk social isolation, which itself is a major risk factor for serious illness
and death (Mills, 2005). The poems A Poison Tree, Bitch, and Daddy all demonstrate an
expression of a distinctive quality of anger. In each of the works, a different level of this
emotion is exhibited ranging from resentment to wrath. In both Bitch by Carolyn Kizer
and Daddy by
27. Myths, Morals, And Rules
Life is a series of life lessons, morals, and rules that we all live by and learn through
every decision we make. A way these lessons, morals, and rules are shown and told is
through myths. A myth is a traditional story from a certain ethnic, religion, place, or
culture, and explains how and why things are the way they are. Myths also incorporate
a moral, theme, or life lesson, which becomes clear at the end of the story. As a child I
m sure you ve heard stories from your familywhether a more unknown myth or common
tale that you got something out of, whether it was learning something new, or something
you already knew that simply got reinforced. But if you re like me, then it ll take some
time before you remember. Once I did remember the... Show more content on

Also, my grandpa and Aunty Paning lived in Ilocos Norte, while my grandma lived in
Manila, they were 407.64km, 253.31mi apart and they were still told the same myths,
with the exception of a few details. Furthermore, another person who has heard this
myth from past generations is Sonia Jackson, who was a senior at Tennessee
University in 2008. Sonia Jacksons grandmother Dr. Natividad Corrales Taboada told
her daughter, Maria Jackson, Sonia s mother, who then told Sonia and her siblings the
story. There is also a controversy of whether the myth was created before or after the
Spanish invasion, but it s difficult to know for sure. As you can see this myth is
probably very old, to have gone through at least eighty two years, it could easily have
existed for a century.
Usually, Filipino myths are passed down through words spoken and are grouped into
four main groups. The first are myths that explain the creation of the universe, god
(Bathala or Maykapal), the origin of man, supernatural beings and the native Filipino
heroes. Second, are legends that tell the origin of a local phenomenon, places, plants,
animals, thoughts, and names. Third, are fables where animals or inanimate beings are
made to speak and act like rational beings to point out morals, this is the group the myth
falls into, but also has aspects from the second group because
