Rhetorical Analysis On Ted Cruz
Republican presidential candidate John Kasich made his pitch to prospective voters in two boroughs
of New York City Bronx and Brooklyn on Thursday that the strongest days are ahead in his long shot
campaign against his GOP rivals Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. In his afternoon appearance at Arthur
Avenue section in the Bronx, Kasich got a taste of the best the Bronx borough (in which I am lucky to
have been raised in this area of New York) has to offer in food. Mike s Deli, inside the Arthur Avenue
Retail Market, a neighborhood institution that is famous for its Italian delicacies such as imported
Culatello and red sauce, the Ohio Governor got a taste of what many locals get to experience on a
daily basis. This is like being so alive, being in New York, Kasich said to reporters as he ... Show more

In Iowa, Ted Cruz sneered at our New York values, the narrator says in the Kasich ad video. From
there the ad shows Cruz remarks said in the January debate of what New York values are. It then
returns to the narrator and continues to say Ted Cruz divides to get a vote. John Kasich united to get
things done. The most recent public poll of New York voters, from Monmouth University, has Trump
at 52%, Kasich at 25% and Cruz at 17%. Kasich acknowledged that he won t win in Trump s home
territory, but hopes to pick up some delegates to add on his long shot bid. Here in New York we are
running in second now, Kasich said. In Maryland we are now running in second and in Pennsylvania, I

added, We are going to pick up delegates here and we are going to pick up delegates in Pennsylvania

The Distinctive Features of Thatcherism and Reaganomics
Introduction
The policies of Thatcherism and Reaganomics significantly influenced the economies of the countries
where they were applied. Some of their impacts are observed to be existing up to date although in
more reformed and improved system. This research paper examines the features and achievements of
the two policies and the impact they had on the citizens of these countries. It seeks to establish what
negative impacts these policies brought with them in their bid to facilitate economical improvements
in the countries where they were applied. It also tries to find out whether the ideologies ... Show more

First, many have argued that Thatcherism contributed significantly into economic recovery of Britain
after the war. This is mainly visible in its quest to control the rate of inflation which was a success.
However, this success has been criticized for the huge level of unemployment it brought with it. The
policy also managed to instill competition in the economy which facilitated growth of the economy.
This was necessary to salvage the image which was heavily dented on the international scene. With
these efforts, the conservative party had managed to win back the trust of its citizens. Thatcherism also
brought the theory of monetarism. Through this theory, they discovered that inflation was caused by
injecting excess money into the economy by printing money and this situation could be controlled by
using the instruments of monetary policy to mop up the excess money supply. However, some
economists have argued that the negative impacts of this policy overshadowed its positive
contributions hence the system is considered a failure (Harvey 2010,

The Un Security Council Is The Primary Subsidy For...
Since its establishment, the United Nations has played a vital role in total global development. As
stated by the UN, their roles and responsibilities consist of maintaining international peace and
security through the prevention of conflict and coming up with solutions if ever in conflicting
scenarios through peacekeeping efforts. Their UN Security Council is the primary subsidy for
international peace and security; promoting sustainable development by working to bridge social,
economic, or cultural disparities, and promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for
fundamental freedoms for all (What we do, United Nations); protecting human rights and making such
a key aspect and value of the Organization; upholding international law through the usage of courts,
multilateral treaties, and tribunals to ensure that international law is being upheld; and to deliver
humanitarian aid, which is one of the main principles the UN was founded on: to achieve international
co operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian
character (What we do, United Nations).
Let s give a scenario that outlines the role of the United Nations for clarification. If say tension with
importers and exporters of The Gambia and Senegal would arise, which it has, given the river that
divides the country it would be in the role of the United Nations to sit representatives of both nations
down and to establish an agreement so both parties leave

Speech On Selfies
Whether you re posting a duck face or sticking your tongue out, selfies have taken over social media.
Selfies aren t always a bad influence and don t always make people judge themselves so critically. So
we will discuss why selfies are a good idea and why you should take a few more pictures and post
them to Instagram. Pro number one, selfies are scientifically proven to boost confidence, now who
couldn t recognize this. When we post a selfie looking our best and we get likes for it, it produces a
boost of dopamine in our brain, giving us that feel good vibe. Now you can understand why some get
addicted to taking multiple selfies a day. Selfies captures memorable moments we may not have been

Selfies help people express themselves in ways they would have never before. You are usually very
comfortable with your own self taking pictures and not others, therefore you can be funny, nerdy, or
sexy without feeling judged. Time magazine reports that selfies can just be an outlet of self expression
and we shouldn t be so consumed with all the selfies floating in cyber space. Self captured images
allow young adults and teens to express their mood states and share important experiences, says Dr.
Andrea Letamendi, a clinical psychologist and research fellow at UCLA. As teens and adolescents try
to form their identity, selfies serve as a way to test how they look, and therefore feel, in certain outfits,
make up, poses and places. And because we live in a digital world, selfies provide a way of
participating and interacting with that world. Selfies has also allowed women to publicly celebrate
their flaws. For example, Demi Lovato has posted selfies to Instagram without any makeup on and has
encouraged her fans to do likewise. Other sites have been supporting women to take selfies everyday
for a year, regardless of how they

Essay On Battle Of Gallipoli

The Battle of Gallipoli, also referred to as The Gallipoli Campaign of 1915 16 or the Dardanelles
Campaign, was a decisive battle in World War One during which Allied Powers attempted to take
control over the sea route between Europe and Russia. Overall, the battle is largely considered a
failure. There were many forces that acted against the Allies during the campaign, main causes of the
loss were the repelling of the initial naval attack, the failure of the invasion of the Gallipoli Peninsula
by the British, French, and ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps), and the high level of
resistance from the Turks, and an extreme lack in planning ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

A stray mine sunk the French battleship Bouvet with its six hundred sailors still on board. Another
French battleship, Inflexible, struck a mine close to where Bouvet had sunk earlier. Inflexible,
however, did not sink. It stayed afloat and eventually became beached. Due to the inexperience of the
men sailing the minesweepers, the constant bombardment of Ottoman artillery proved to be too much
for them. Many retreated and abandoned their ships, leaving many mines still intact. Seventeen of the
Allied ships were damaged or sunk by the time the battle had ended.
The Allies then began to plan a ground invasion of the Dardanelles and sent two submarines into the
straits. Unfortunately, they too were lost to mines. Luckily, the British submarine HMS B11 managed
to enter into the strait unharmed and on December 13, 1959. It sunk the Ottoman Battleship,
Mesûdiye. It was docked at Sari Sighlar Bay and was being used as a floating fortress by the
Ottomans. The Allies also managed to use their submarines to overpower the Ottomans in the Sea of
Marmara. They were able to sink large numbers of Ottoman ships, including, one battleship, one
destroyer, five gunboats, eleven troop transports, forty four supply ships, and 148 sailing vessels
between April and December, 1915, while only losing eight submarines themselves. This forced the
Ottomans to abandon the Sea of Marmara as a trade route and was

Supply and Demand Simulation
Supply and Demand Simulation Summary
University of Phoenix
ECO360, Economics for Business I
The Supply/Demand simulation involves acting as property manager for GoodLife Management in the
fictional town of Atlantis. GoodLife Management manages seven apartment complexes in Atlantis.
The property manager is expected to adjust the monthly rental rate of two bed rental apartments and
the quantity of apartments supplied based on the market trends. Factors that influence the supply and
demand for apartments include personal preferences, economy, income, and rental rates. Each of these
factors affect the ratio of vacant and occupied apartments. Decisions regarding supply, demand, and
price require careful evaluation. Regular ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The equilibrium rental rate was then higher than before, but the equilibrium quantity was less.
The last situation in the simulation introduced the concept of governmental price controls for monthly
rental rates. Since the price ceiling was lower than the equilibrium price, the quantity demanded was
higher than the quantity supplied. Goodlife could not afford to rent all apartments at the ceiling price.
Other forms of revenue, such as increased key deposits, had to be implemented. Consequently, there
was an excess demand, creating a supply shortage. Goodlife was then able to be more restrictive when
selecting renters, which can affect economic and social aspects of the community. The imbalance of
demand and supply can lead to discrimination in tenants and an increase in ancillary charges, such as
key charges. As illustrated in the simumation, price controls can have negative consequences on the
housing supply.
In conclusion, the simulation confronted the user with a variety of situations that affected the supply
and demand of rental units. The prices and quantity supplied had to be adjusted according to the
factors affecting the supply and demand. The key components from the reading material that were
reinforced in the simulation were supply and demand, shifts in supply and demand, equilibrium, and
price ceilings.
1. What causes the changes in supply and demand in the simulation?

Courage, Gallipoli, ANZAC, larrikinism, self sacrifice. These words relate majorly to the ANZAC
Legend. Is the ANZAC Legend still relevant in today s society? Does it matter? The ANZAC Legend
is definitely still relevant and matters today in our society as from the moment the ANZACs landed at
Gallipoli, the ANZAC Legend was created. Today, the characteristics being shown are all based on the
qualities of the ANZACs. The ANZAC Legend means so much, but what is it? Was it important? Is it
relevant? Does it matter? Without question, the ANZAC Legend is still extremely relevant today for
multiple reasons.
The ANZAC Legend was and still is one of the most significant outcomes of World War 1 and has an
extremely powerful influence on Australian Identity today. (Ashton Anderson, 2012) The legend of the
ANZAC was born on the 25th of April 1915, and was reaffirmed through eight months of fighting on
Gallipoli (Memorial, 2017). The legend symbolizes a spirit created over 102 years ago to this day. The
spirit was created during a dark period of world history, it has put together all the stories and acts of
bravery and mateship which assisted the ANZACs during World War 1 ( The History of World War 1 ,

my head. Would I recognize my sister? Would they all remember me? I even thought about how
everyone would weep for joy. Suddenly, I thought my mother would be dead. I shook my head to get
that thought out. I started to remember a song I heard: Eze elina, elina! Sala Eze ilikwa ya Ikwaba

Lord Of The Flies Ego Superego Analysis
In every human being, a constant battle is occurring between two very diverse consciences. William
Golding portrayed this battle through his novel, Lord of the Flies, and with Sigmund Freud s
psychoanalysis theories of ID, Ego, and Superego. ID usually delineates the avarice and guile side of
the soul. Superego, however, represents the euphonious and benign voice of the soul. The Ego is a
balance of the two and is gullible to the forces of both voices. Golding uses these three forces to show
that without the pureness of the conscience, human spirit is innately evil and corruptible. Thus,
Golding uses Freud s ID, Ego, and Superego to demonstrate the overall theme of the flexibility of the
human spirit towards evil through Jack s recklessness, Ralph s sense of balance, and Simon s cherubic
attitude.
The character of Jack symbolizes the ID side of the soul because of his recklessness through his
obsession with hunting and fun on the island. His obsession started when he felt the power from
killing his first pig, He noticed blood on his hands and grimaced distastefully, looked for something on
which to clean them, then wiped them on his shorts and laughed ... We ll go hunting every day
(Golding 69/70). This quote shows that when the ID receives power, it will take full advantage of it
and will enjoy it, just like Jack did when he saw the blood from the pig. This quote also shows that
how the ID treats everything as a game and something to laugh at, which is exactly what Jack

Wedding Cake Model In The Criminal Justice System
The criminal justice meaning of wedding cake model is theory that divides the proceedings in the
criminal justice system into four different part; celebration cases, serious felonies, lesser felonies, and
misdemeanors. The top layer of the cake is reserved for high profile cases, that involve individuals
with huge media profile. They gather a vast amount of attention because they typically have
defendants that are celebrities or high ranking officials. This is not the usual cases, because of their
high profile they need to take into consideration media in the court rooms and the high demand of

Level three cases, or lesser felonies, are usually committed by first offenders. They are less violent

Plants And Insects Have A Long History Together
Plants and Insects There is no doubt that plants and insects have a long history together. It is an on
going relationship that can be beneficial or detrimental to both parties, depending on the situation.
Insects pollinate plants, in return the plants provide food for insects. But the relationship between the
two isn t always so beneficial. Some insects can kill plants by taking away the essential nutrients away
from the plant. There are also insects that are predators. The predator insects help the plants by getting
rid of the insects that are killing the plant. There are some plants that have a natural pesticide in their
chemical make up and can ward off unwanted bugs. There are other contributing factors to how much
of an impact plants and insect have on each other. For example, there may be a plant in or near your
garden that attracts insects that are harmful and once that insect is there, it will potentially migrate
around to other plants in your garden. When an insect lands on a plant it picks up pollen, then the
insect transfers it to another plant. This process is called pollination and is very important in the
botanical world. Pollination allows plants to fertilize and reproduce. Some insects use the nectar and
pollen of a plant as food. In this situation both plant and insects benefit. Yet, this isn t always the case.
Generally one or the other gets the greater advantage. The biggest issue when it comes to plants and
insects are the insects that

The Populism Movement
The election of 1892, the year former President Grover Cleveland was reelected after defeating
President Benjamin Harrison. President Grover Cleveland lost the electoral vote in 1888 against
Harrison, but in 1892 Cleveland made a comeback. Even though President Cleveland and President
Harrison represented the two main parties, a third party had risen in popularity during this time. The
People Party received popularity in this election, making them the first third party to receive electoral
votes since the 1860 Presidential Race. The populism movement started as way for farmers to fight
back against dropping crop prices, forced debt, and economic abuse received by capitalistic

What Caused The Egyptian Revolution
Our freedom is not up for negotiation. (Mohamed ElBaradei). The Egyptian Revolution was a battle to
take back rights that had been taken away for nearly thirty years.Socially, the main causes were a lack
of human rights, and poor living conditions.Economic changes also promoted the development of
protests. Political leaders were unjust, provoking citizens to create an uproar of resistance. The
Egyptian Revolution has had many harsh social, destructive economic, yet promising political impacts
on the Egyptian people while the prospect for peace remains uncertain. The Egyptian revolution took
place all over Egypt. The conflict involved two groups, the Egyptian people, and the government. The

Poor conditions sparked the Egyptian Revolution. The work conditions were so poor, that ...a street
vendor in Tunisia set himself on fire in front a municipal building to protest his work conditions
(Global Issues in Context Online Collection). This is an example of the many forms of protests in the
Egyptian revolution. A street vendor had been severely mistreated in his job, so he put on a public
display to draw attention to his struggles. Setting himself on fire was his way of telling the world that
he needed a change. A social impact of the Egyptian Revolution were the emergency measures taken
by the government to control protesters. Although protests were non violent, the police used very
abusive tactics to end them. Police used tear gas, rubber bullets, firehoses and even guns, to end
protests. (Egyptian Anti Government Protests). Despite the country s fight to end police brutality, and
other violations of human rights, their protests were stopped by any means necessary. The struggle
that Egypt was going through was so harsh, the police had the right to mistreat anyone participating in
even the most peaceful protests. The biggest social impact of the Egyptian Revolution was the number
of casualties. Egyptian people faced mass arrests of protesters, injuries, and even deaths. Over the
course of the revolution, there were at least 840 deaths.(Britannica School). Despite both sides good
intentions, the number of casualties in the Egyptian revolution was astounding. Protesters were abused
in protests, but they needed a better life. The police force and government wanted to keep things under
control, but their efforts sparked more and more protests. This illustrates that a need is often granted
with a sacrifice. In Egypt s fight for human rights, it was clear it would not be easy, but the impacts

The Profession Of Nurse And Nurse Migration
World Health Organisation [WHO] (2009) indicates the profession of nurse is a key component and
major contributor to the global healthcare workforce. However, nursing worldwide has significant
disparities, notably apparent between developed and developing countries. Although there are signs of
improvement, much needs to be done to globalise the standards of nursing. There is a substantial
difference in the profession of nurse in Australia compared to India and the issues encountered
(Charles et al., 2014). In modern society the social stigmata and issue of equality in regard to the
profession of nurse in India remains visibly evident (Nair, 2012). Exposure to poor workplace
conditions impact job satisfaction and fuel the problem of skilled nurse shortages and nurse migration
(Timmons, 2014). The importance of high quality education is challenging when faced with below
average resources and unqualified teaching faculty (Evans, Razia, Cook, 2013). With The growth of
nursing in India is significantly hindered due to factors of social status, equality and education. The
nursing profession in India, one of the fastest growing professions, continues to demonstrate negative
stigmatic labelling (Nair, 2011). Although attitudes are changing, the social status of nursing in India
remains plagued with archaic perceptions coupled with cultural beliefs that modern nursing is still
trying to challenge and overcome. Nursing in India is perceived as an inferior occupation,

Augustus And The Pope Analysis

Being a leader means you have followers, people who will stand behind you and support you and how
you lead them no matter what the challenge is, Augustus had these followers, he was a great leader.
Augustus was the first Roman Emperor, he was loved by his people and not only rebuilt his own
palace but the entire town, even the Soothsayers did not predict his success.
Pope Frances is the 226th Pope of the Catholic Church in Italy, he became the Pope even though his

What Does Dover Symbolize In The Masque Of The Red Death
When discussing loss knowing it comes in many forms can create an ubiquitous contemplation about
the derivative of the characters loss. In many Dark Romantic and Gothic pieces loss can derive from a
loved one, psychological torment, or even from an egotistical attribute. These attributes may seem
customary to society, however these issues can take a great toll on a character. For example, in
Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe, he lost his wife to a lung disease which ultimately caused the
narrator to obsess in a form of grief over Annabel Lee. Moreover, in the Demon Lover by Elizabeth
Bowen the protagonist and the antagonist essentially are the same person. Mrs. Dover while revisiting
an old house she once lived in had created an entire situation that in her mind and to the reader seem

William Harvey His Discovery of Blood Circulation
Many people learned about the Circulatory System in their elementary school years, so for many, it
would be hard to imagine a time where Civilization were unaware of how blood works. It wasn t until
1682 when a English physician named William Harvey discovered the Circulatory System, before
than people didn t know where it came from and were unaware of its importance, and since then
medicine developed rapidly increasing people s life span and becoming the foundation of medicine,
and how much it has effected us to this day.
William Harvey was born in 1578 in Folkston, England He went to Cambridge University and then
studied medicine at the University Of Padua(1). He was married to Elizabeth Brown the Court
physician daughter, who happened ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As soon as Harvey s theory was developed, other medical discoveries soon followed. Calculation of
cardiac output and input, the measurements of blood and fluid loss (6), was soon developed after the
public accepted Harvey s theory. Due to this method, doctors were able to determine just how much
attention a patient needs which effectively helped to prolong life. This calculation method is still used
today in surgery, which exemplifies how effective it is(7).
Another discovery that followed Harvey s discovery was in 1692 when Max Perutz won the Noble
Peace Prize for discovering a protein called hemoglobin the part of the cell that carries oxygen(8).
Without Harvey s discovery, Perutz would not have known how to examine the human blood and
would not have discovered hemoglobin, Hemoglobin plays a huge role in the human body is helps the
red blood cell carry oxygen though the body. Without this discovery, there would be no answer or
even insight into anemia, A number of blood disorders have to do with hemoglobin abnormalities. In
many forms of anemia, there is not enough hemoglobin in the red blood cells (9).
As time went by a couple others added on to Harvey s discovery, such as Marcello Malphigi who
completed Harvey s work by using stronger microscopes he saw capillaries that connected the veins

Ford F-Series Import Truck History
The older F Series models of Ford pickup trucks have made history in society. Ford greatly impacted
the world with their trucks. Trucks today have greatly increased in price and there are reasons for this.
Trucks have greatly progressed over the years and started greatly improved when the 1990 s hit. Many
people say older trucks outlast newer ones, that is factually wrong and is incorrect. In 1948, Fford
came out with the first F Series pickup truck, called the F1. The truck only cost between 1000 and
1500 dollars.! Today s Ford F 150 starts at $24,900, and their are reasons for this. When the truck
came out WWII just ended, and people were getting back to normal routines, such as farming. There

the 1961 1966 era. This era brought on a whole new style of trucks, the Ford Unibody. It connected
the cab to the bed giving it a whole new design. Cargo area was 9 cubic feet larger than previous
years. Windshield increased in size by 22 percent, heater had higher output, and thicker seat padding.
The 1962 model put a new transmission under the truck, replacing the old Fordomatic, with the Cruise
O Matic. 1963 came out with the 3 speed or for anyone is an truck fan the nickname is 3 on a tree.
1964 had poor sales on the pickup trucks so they eliminated the integrated the Styleside Box. Ford
doubled the thickness of truck walls. 1965 Ford introduced the Twin I Beam front suspension on all
2WD pickups. 1966 was new and improved and introduced the Low Silhouette. 1966 was the last year
of the 1961 1966 era, and now came the 1967 1972 era. The design of the truck totally changed, it
became more square and less round. Stainless side molding was now on the Ranger package. Ranger
had a padded dash, padded sun visors, and seat belts with shoulder anchor harnesses, all as standard
equipment. Dual brakes were introduced increasing the safety of the truck. 1968 Ford replaced the 352
cubic inch engine with a 360 cubic inch or a 390 cubic inch. 1969 offered three special models
Contractor Special, Heavy Duty Special, or the Farm and Ranch Special. In 1970 the XLT came out,

Personification In Oceans By Dreamer
Oceans are a body of salt water, which are calm at times and furious the deeper you explore. Boats
sink when they go to deep without knowing the circumstances or the outcomes of what lies ahead.
People who seek gold or other valuable treasures dive down into the waters in search of abandoned
boats. In Oceans, Dreamer uses similes, metaphors, personification, and shifts to show that
fearlessness hides what is really on the inside. The poet compares herself to a ocean, It is these reasons
why the author compares herself to a ocean. First of all, The woman that wrote this poem uses phrases
such as deep as a treasure which indicates that nobody knows her until they get to know her, and she
talks about how people judge her even though they

their animals, research suggests that it helps keep animals healthy is certain ways that not fixing an
animal does. It also contributes to the control of the animal population in not just in America. But, on
the other side of the issue there are studies showing that even though fixing an animal has many health

fixing an animal. Which is also corroborated by other articles by the ASPCA called Spay/Neuter Your

fixing an animal will help stop certain cancers that appear in non fixed animals such as mammary
cancer in females and testicular cancer in males. Another source that is for fixing from The Humane

United States stating that In the U.S., there are an estimated 6 8 million homeless animals entering

The Characteristics Of The Seated Statue Of Hatshepsut
Seated Statue of Hatshepsut While examining the Seated Statue of Hatshepsut, initially, the first thing
one notices is the female figure of Egyptian pharaoh Hatshepsut. Although Hatshepsut is being shown
in a primarily male position, it does not take the attention away from her feminine face and petite,
graceful body. Over time, taking on the role of a pharaoh changed the perception the world had of who
Hatshepsut was. She went from being portrayed as the beautiful women seen in this artwork, to being
depicted as an unrecognizable male figure. When comparing the Seated Statue of Hatshepsut to other
statues of Hatshepsut created overtime, one would notice a dramatic difference. Despite the fact that
she is shown wearing the ceremonial attire of an egyptian king, (Museum Label Text, Seated Statue of
Hatshepsut) there is still a very strong sense of the figure being female. To further point out the female
traits of Hatshepsut in this statue, one would notice the rounded protruding chest that appears to be the
chest of a female. On the other hand, in later statues of Hatshepsut, one would notice that the chest is
much different. Her chest went from being round to being more square and flat, similar to those of a
man. Another significant difference is the size change between the statutes. In the seated statue of
Hatshepsut, she is very petite with small shoulders, thin arms, waist and legs. Hatshepsut is later
depicted as having very wide, broad shoulders and a muscular

Essay On The Three Kingdoms
One of the most well know historical periods of Ancient China is the era of the Three Kingdoms,
which records the period to some of the most well known historical figures, heroes, and their complex
yet intriguing relationships. The Three Kingdoms was a period of unrest, and battles which initiated in
220AD, when Wei replaced the Eastern Han Dynasty, and lasted until the reunification of lands in
280AD. Towards the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the emperor was losing power and influence,
which led to the inability for Eastern Han to unite the whole land. At the same time, the country was in
anarchy as groups of warriors were uprising and rebelling against Eastern Han, proclaiming

The complex relations during the Three Kingdoms supressed the dominating country Wei from easily
attacking and taking over the weaker ones, Shu and Wu. This involves the two smaller, weaker
countries joining forces to withstand the greater, and more powerful one. The outstanding generals ,
leaders , and strategists battles also aided each country to form strong ties and uphold their respective
lands, while taking over other unclaimed/not well maintained lands. This bond between the Three
Kingdoms has continued for a long time before the fall of each kingdoms, with Jin replacing Wei, and
merged all three into one large Kingdom. There are many factors that contributed to the disintegration
of land following the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Amongst which, the main reason was due to the
chaos and uprising as feudal lords fought each other for territories. The court ministers of late Eastern
Han were corrupt, in particular Dong Zuo was considered one of the most corrupted, and manipulative
officials of the time, and was detested by citizens nationwide. This served as an excuse and motive for
many lords to repel against the emperor, or restore Han

Tourism As A Source Of Revenue Managing Destinations Essay
In today s competitive economies and with growth of tourism as a source of revenue managing
destinations is an important and integral part of controlling tourism s environmental impacts and
promoting sustainable tourism in the region. Destination management includes planned business
permits to organizations, land use planning, environmental and other regulations and various other
methods for the development and operations of activities related to tourism. According to UNWTO
The programme for Destination Management is committed to respond positively to the growing need
for systematic, multidisciplinary and intersectoral strategies for tourism at local, regional and national
level and in particular to provide strategic guidance in destination management which is a recent
conceptualization of a micro level activity at national, regional and/or local level in which the tourism
stakeholders carry out their individual and organizational responsibilities in a coordinated manner
aiming to achieve the macro level policies. (United Nations World Tourism Organization)
The term destination is given to an area where tourism is of significant importance and economy is
highly influenced by tourism. UNWTO defines destinations as A local tourism destination is a
physical space in which a visitor spends at least one overnight. It includes tourism products such as
support services and attractions, and tourism resources within one day´s return travel time. It has

Oppositions In Othello And Brabantio
One of the main oppositions that are presented in this act in the difference in the characters of Othello
and Brabantio. Brabantio is angry at Othello for marrying his daughter behind his back and shows it
through his harsh and unthoughtful words. He genuinely believes that it is completely impossible for
Desdemona to truly love Othello as he is of a different skin color, and accuses him of witchcraft: O
thou foul thief, where hast thou stowed my daughter? / Damned as thou art, thou hast enchanted her!

as a gullible character who easily jumps to conclusions. On the other hand, Othello s language proves

Customer Service Process Of Customer Loyalty And Their...
Customer service is the process of interacting with the customers and the companies to understand the
customers demands and queries. The customer service is there for each top restaurant who wants to
provide a better dining experience to their customers and to get feedbacks from them (Huemer and
Setzer, 2011). The customer service helps the company or the restaurants to understand the needs and
demands of its customers. By doing that, the company can retain their customers who become loyal to
the restaurant after certain period of being served and thus, the restaurant wins the heart of its
customers. The main objective in carrying out this research is to determine the importance of customer
service process in the acquisition of customer loyalty and their retention to the restaurants in UK by
taking the special reference of top two restaurants where one is Berners Tavern and another is New
London Café.
1.1 Background of the Research
From various studies, it has been found that the restaurants are able to win the heart of their customers
through good quality and tasty food meals and by giving proper services, which will fulfil their
wishes. Therefore, a restaurant should look after the demands and needs of its consumers and based on
that should prepare its plan for future in introducing new items in their menu and services (Padua,
2012). Different groups and organizations already have carried out many researches but researches
about this particular topic are much less

The Battle Of The Crusades In The Song Of Roland
In the epic poem, The Song of Roland the tale depicts the Battle at Rencevaux in which the
protagonist is betrayed and serves as a martyr to justify the Crusades. The Crusades were a medieval
military expedition by the Roman Catholics to purge the Muslims from the Holy Land. With this
definition of the Crusades, one can conclude that the Song of Roland should not be considered apart of
the Crusades as the poem s context is historically inaccurate, written long after the events, and lacks a
credible source. Instead, this depiction should just be considered as a folk tale that was used to drive
the crusaders to keep fighting. The story of heroism in this poem was no doubt a motivational tool that
inspired soldiers to persevere and uproot the Muslims from the Holy Land. The Song of Roland dates
back to early 12th century, in the midst of the Crusades. The original battle was called the Battle of
Roncevaux Pass which took place in 778 AD, long before the epic poem dates back to. For one to
even consider this poem as the first battle of the Crusades the poem would have be written relatively
soon after the battle. Some scholars speculate that the poem was written around the time that the battle
took place but there is no evidence to support their theory as the only written copies date back
between 1129 and 1165 AD. These dates place the written poem in the middle of the Crusades.
Furthermore, this strengthens the idea that the poem is not a accurate description of what actually
happened on that day. Instead, this epic poem was written for another purpose, the purpose of
inspiring the current knights of the glory and honor that can be gained from this Holy War. With the
date of the Song of Roland being nearly four hundred years after the actual battle one could see the
potential problems with the details of the story. Having no previous records, experts aren t sure
whether the epic poem was changed on purpose, or if parts of it were forgotten. Although the tale
conveys a sense of heroism and pride, it there are many details that are historically inaccurate. For
example, in the Song of Roland , the author describes the opposing forces as Saracens . This term
Saracen is used by many authors at the time

First of all, this is a theory. A theory is when a system of ideas are intended to explain something such

theories are really believable. Theories can be about anything if you think about, all you need are the

Even things that you think don t have a connection will probably have a connection. For instance
Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy have connections too. They have so many connections
conspiracy theorists think they represent each other in a different dimension and in a different time. In
the next couple sentences the word both is going to be used. A LOT. A connection that they have is
that they were both elected into congress in the year 46. Lincoln was elected into congress in 1846 and
JFK was elected into congress in 1946. Both of their last names have 7 letters in it. Both were
particularly concerned with Civil Rights. Both of their wives had a miscarriage while in the white
house.Lincoln was elected in 1860 and JFK was elected in 1960. It gets weirder from here. Trust me.
They were both shot on a Friday. Both were shot in the head and wait for it. Both were succeeded by
people both named Johnson and the Johnsons were both born in 08. The Johnsons were also both of
their vice presidents. Lincoln s successor was born in 1808 and JFK s was born in 1908. Both of their
murderers are known by their 3 names. A crazy thing is that both of their full names equal up to 15
letters. Here comes the Ford connection as some people call it. Lincoln was shot at a theater named
Ford. JFK was shot in a car called Lincoln made by Ford. Lastly, were both assassinated in the
presence of their wife. These conciendesces or connections can be fake, but

Co workers also noticed that
Arthurs was becoming increasingly forgetful. He was often unable to remember stock numbers, colour
codes, product lines, packaging modes, and other information essential for serving clients efficiently
and completing orders accurately. These problems were subtle in 1987, but became quite pronounced
and embarrassing over the next three years.
In May 1989, Arthurs and Jackson had a conflict relating to the purchase of a new company car.
According to Jackson, Arthurs presented him with a quotation for a car, which, in Jackson s view,
included $2,500 in unnecessary options. Jackson informed
Arthurs of his concerns and instructed him to find a car worth $13,000 instead of
$16,000. Jackson then left town on business and when he returned was distressed to find that Arthurs
had made his proposed car purchase with almost all of the unnecessary options. Jackson issued the
cheque to pay for the car, but also included a note to Arthurs saying that he had lost confidence in the
sales representative. It was about this time that
Jackson contemplated firing Arthurs, but decided instead to be a nice guy and overlook the matter.
At the end of 1989, Jackson decided to reassign the North Vancouver independent accounts from
Arthurs to another Western Agencies salesperson because the existing accounts had shown minimal
growth and no new accounts were being added.

  • 2. Rhetorical Analysis On Ted Cruz Republican presidential candidate John Kasich made his pitch to prospective voters in two boroughs of New York City Bronx and Brooklyn on Thursday that the strongest days are ahead in his long shot campaign against his GOP rivals Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. In his afternoon appearance at Arthur Avenue section in the Bronx, Kasich got a taste of the best the Bronx borough (in which I am lucky to have been raised in this area of New York) has to offer in food. Mike s Deli, inside the Arthur Avenue Retail Market, a neighborhood institution that is famous for its Italian delicacies such as imported Culatello and red sauce, the Ohio Governor got a taste of what many locals get to experience on a daily basis. This is like being so alive, being in New York, Kasich said to reporters as he ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In Iowa, Ted Cruz sneered at our New York values, the narrator says in the Kasich ad video. From there the ad shows Cruz remarks said in the January debate of what New York values are. It then returns to the narrator and continues to say Ted Cruz divides to get a vote. John Kasich united to get things done. The most recent public poll of New York voters, from Monmouth University, has Trump at 52%, Kasich at 25% and Cruz at 17%. Kasich acknowledged that he won t win in Trump s home territory, but hopes to pick up some delegates to add on his long shot bid. Here in New York we are running in second now, Kasich said. In Maryland we are now running in second and in Pennsylvania, I haven t seen anything lately, but the last thing I saw had us in a virtual tie for first place. Kasich added, We are going to pick up delegates here and we are going to pick up delegates in Pennsylvania and all over the Northeast and down in Maryland, and we are going to the ... Some of their impacts are observed to be existing up to date although in more reformed and improved system. This research paper examines the features and achievements of the two policies and the impact they had on the citizens of these countries. It seeks to establish what negative impacts these policies brought with them in their bid to facilitate economical improvements in the countries where they were applied. It also tries to find out whether the ideologies ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... First, many have argued that Thatcherism contributed significantly into economic recovery of Britain after the war. This is mainly visible in its quest to control the rate of inflation which was a success. However, this success has been criticized for the huge level of unemployment it brought with it. The policy also managed to instill competition in the economy which facilitated growth of the economy. This was necessary to salvage the image which was heavily dented on the international scene. With these efforts, the conservative party had managed to win back the trust of its citizens. Thatcherism also brought the theory of monetarism. Through this theory, they discovered that inflation was caused by injecting excess money into the economy by printing money and this situation could be controlled by using the instruments of monetary policy to mop up the excess money supply. However, some economists have argued that the negative impacts of this policy overshadowed its positive contributions hence the system is considered a failure (Harvey 2010, ... • 4. The Un Security Council Is The Primary Subsidy For... Since its establishment, the United Nations has played a vital role in total global development. As stated by the UN, their roles and responsibilities consist of maintaining international peace and security through the prevention of conflict and coming up with solutions if ever in conflicting scenarios through peacekeeping efforts. Their UN Security Council is the primary subsidy for international peace and security; promoting sustainable development by working to bridge social, economic, or cultural disparities, and promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all (What we do, United Nations); protecting human rights and making such a key aspect and value of the Organization; upholding international law through the usage of courts, multilateral treaties, and tribunals to ensure that international law is being upheld; and to deliver humanitarian aid, which is one of the main principles the UN was founded on: to achieve international co operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character (What we do, United Nations). Let s give a scenario that outlines the role of the United Nations for clarification. If say tension with importers and exporters of The Gambia and Senegal would arise, which it has, given the river that divides the country it would be in the role of the United Nations to sit representatives of both nations down and to establish an agreement so both parties leave ... Selfies aren t always a bad influence and don t always make people judge themselves so critically. So we will discuss why selfies are a good idea and why you should take a few more pictures and post them to Instagram. Pro number one, selfies are scientifically proven to boost confidence, now who couldn t recognize this. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Selfies help people express themselves in ways they would have never before. You are usually very comfortable with your own self taking pictures and not others, therefore you can be funny, nerdy, or sexy without feeling judged. Time magazine reports that selfies can just be an outlet of self expression and we shouldn t be so consumed with all the selfies floating in cyber space. Self captured images allow young adults and teens to express their mood states and share important experiences, says Dr. Andrea Letamendi, a clinical psychologist and research fellow at UCLA. As teens and adolescents try to form their identity, selfies serve as a way to test how they look, and therefore feel, in certain outfits, make up, poses and places. And because we live in a digital world, selfies provide a way of participating and interacting with that world. Selfies has also allowed women to publicly celebrate their flaws. For example, Demi Lovato has posted selfies to Instagram without any makeup on and has encouraged her fans to do likewise. Other sites have been supporting women to take selfies everyday for a year, regardless of how they ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Essay On Battle Of Gallipoli The Battle of Gallipoli David Cumo Ms. Beck Honors World Cultures Period 7 19 May 2017 The Battle of Gallipoli, also referred to as The Gallipoli Campaign of 1915 16 or the Dardanelles Campaign, was a decisive battle in World War One during which Allied Powers attempted to take control over the sea route between Europe and Russia. Overall, the battle is largely considered a failure. There were many forces that acted against the Allies during the campaign, main causes of the loss were the repelling of the initial naval attack, the failure of the invasion of the Gallipoli Peninsula by the British, French, and ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps), and the high level of resistance from the Turks, and an extreme lack in planning ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A stray mine sunk the French battleship Bouvet with its six hundred sailors still on board. Another French battleship, Inflexible, struck a mine close to where Bouvet had sunk earlier. Inflexible, however, did not sink. It stayed afloat and eventually became beached. Due to the inexperience of the men sailing the minesweepers, the constant bombardment of Ottoman artillery proved to be too much for them. Many retreated and abandoned their ships, leaving many mines still intact. Seventeen of the Allied ships were damaged or sunk by the time the battle had ended. The Allies then began to plan a ground invasion of the Dardanelles and sent two submarines into the straits. Unfortunately, they too were lost to mines. Luckily, the British submarine HMS B11 managed to enter into the strait unharmed and on December 13, 1959. It sunk the Ottoman Battleship, Mesûdiye. It was docked at Sari Sighlar Bay and was being used as a floating fortress by the Ottomans. The Allies also managed to use their submarines to overpower the Ottomans in the Sea of Marmara. They were able to sink large numbers of Ottoman ships, including, one battleship, one destroyer, five gunboats, eleven troop transports, forty four supply ships, and 148 sailing vessels between April and December, 1915, while only losing eight submarines themselves. This forced the Ottomans to abandon the Sea of Marmara as a trade route and was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Supply and Demand Simulation Supply and Demand Simulation Summary University of Phoenix ECO360, Economics for Business I The Supply/Demand simulation involves acting as property manager for GoodLife Management in the fictional town of Atlantis. GoodLife Management manages seven apartment complexes in Atlantis. The property manager is expected to adjust the monthly rental rate of two bed rental apartments and the quantity of apartments supplied based on the market trends. Factors that influence the supply and demand for apartments include personal preferences, economy, income, and rental rates. Each of these factors affect the ratio of vacant and occupied apartments. Decisions regarding supply, demand, and price require careful evaluation. Regular ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The equilibrium rental rate was then higher than before, but the equilibrium quantity was less. The last situation in the simulation introduced the concept of governmental price controls for monthly rental rates. Since the price ceiling was lower than the equilibrium price, the quantity demanded was higher than the quantity supplied. Goodlife could not afford to rent all apartments at the ceiling price. Other forms of revenue, such as increased key deposits, had to be implemented. Consequently, there was an excess demand, creating a supply shortage. Goodlife was then able to be more restrictive when selecting renters, which can affect economic and social aspects of the community. The imbalance of demand and supply can lead to discrimination in tenants and an increase in ancillary charges, such as key charges. As illustrated in the simumation, price controls can have negative consequences on the housing supply. In conclusion, the simulation confronted the user with a variety of situations that affected the supply and demand of rental units. The prices and quantity supplied had to be adjusted according to the factors affecting the supply and demand. The key components from the reading material that were reinforced in the simulation were supply and demand, shifts in supply and demand, equilibrium, and price ceilings. 1. Does it matter? The ANZAC Legend is definitely still relevant and matters today in our society as from the moment the ANZACs landed at Gallipoli, the ANZAC Legend was created. Today, the characteristics being shown are all based on the qualities of the ANZACs. The ANZAC Legend means so much, but what is it? Was it important? Is it relevant? Does it matter? Without question, the ANZAC Legend is still extremely relevant today for multiple reasons. The ANZAC Legend was and still is one of the most significant outcomes of World War 1 and has an extremely powerful influence on Australian Identity today. (Ashton Anderson, 2012) The legend of the ANZAC was born on the 25th of April 1915, and was reaffirmed through eight months of fighting on Gallipoli (Memorial, 2017). The legend symbolizes a spirit created over 102 years ago to this day. The spirit was created during a dark period of world history, it has put together all the stories and acts of bravery and mateship which assisted the ANZACs during World War 1 ( The History of World War 1 , 2017). • 10. Lord Of The Flies Ego Superego Analysis In every human being, a constant battle is occurring between two very diverse consciences. William Golding portrayed this battle through his novel, Lord of the Flies, and with Sigmund Freud s psychoanalysis theories of ID, Ego, and Superego. ID usually delineates the avarice and guile side of the soul. Superego, however, represents the euphonious and benign voice of the soul. The Ego is a balance of the two and is gullible to the forces of both voices. Golding uses these three forces to show that without the pureness of the conscience, human spirit is innately evil and corruptible. Thus, Golding uses Freud s ID, Ego, and Superego to demonstrate the overall theme of the flexibility of the human spirit towards evil through Jack s recklessness, Ralph s sense of balance, and Simon s cherubic attitude. The character of Jack symbolizes the ID side of the soul because of his recklessness through his obsession with hunting and fun on the island. His obsession started when he felt the power from killing his first pig, He noticed blood on his hands and grimaced distastefully, looked for something on which to clean them, then wiped them on his shorts and laughed ... We ll go hunting every day (Golding 69/70). • 12. Plants And Insects Have A Long History Together Plants and Insects There is no doubt that plants and insects have a long history together. It is an on going relationship that can be beneficial or detrimental to both parties, depending on the situation. Insects pollinate plants, in return the plants provide food for insects. But the relationship between the two isn t always so beneficial. Some insects can kill plants by taking away the essential nutrients away from the plant. There are also insects that are predators. The predator insects help the plants by getting rid of the insects that are killing the plant. There are some plants that have a natural pesticide in their chemical make up and can ward off unwanted bugs. There are other contributing factors to how much of an impact plants and insect have on each other. For example, there may be a plant in or near your garden that attracts insects that are harmful and once that insect is there, it will potentially migrate around to other plants in your garden. When an insect lands on a plant it picks up pollen, then the insect transfers it to another plant. This process is called pollination and is very important in the botanical world. Pollination allows plants to fertilize and reproduce. Some insects use the nectar and pollen of a plant as food. In this situation both plant and insects benefit. Yet, this isn t always the case. Generally one or the other gets the greater advantage. The biggest issue when it comes to plants and insects are the insects that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 30. Oppositions In Othello And Brabantio One of the main oppositions that are presented in this act in the difference in the characters of Othello and Brabantio. Brabantio is angry at Othello for marrying his daughter behind his back and shows it through his harsh and unthoughtful words. He genuinely believes that it is completely impossible for Desdemona to truly love Othello as he is of a different skin color, and accuses him of witchcraft: O thou foul thief, where hast thou stowed my daughter? / Damned as thou art, thou hast enchanted her! (1.2.61 32) Here, Brabantio s frantic language gives off the tone of dread and anxiety, and shows him as a gullible character who easily jumps to conclusions. • 32. The Battle Of The Crusades In The Song Of Roland In the epic poem, The Song of Roland the tale depicts the Battle at Rencevaux in which the protagonist is betrayed and serves as a martyr to justify the Crusades. The Crusades were a medieval military expedition by the Roman Catholics to purge the Muslims from the Holy Land. With this definition of the Crusades, one can conclude that the Song of Roland should not be considered apart of the Crusades as the poem s context is historically inaccurate, written long after the events, and lacks a credible source. Instead, this depiction should just be considered as a folk tale that was used to drive the crusaders to keep fighting. The story of heroism in this poem was no doubt a motivational tool that inspired soldiers to persevere and uproot the Muslims from the Holy Land. The Song of Roland dates back to early 12th century, in the midst of the Crusades. The original battle was called the Battle of Roncevaux Pass which took place in 778 AD, long before the epic poem dates back to. For one to even consider this poem as the first battle of the Crusades the poem would have be written relatively soon after the battle. Some scholars speculate that the poem was written around the time that the battle took place but there is no evidence to support their theory as the only written copies date back between 1129 and 1165 AD. These dates place the written poem in the middle of the Crusades. Furthermore, this strengthens the idea that the poem is not a accurate description of what actually happened on that day. Instead, this epic poem was written for another purpose, the purpose of inspiring the current knights of the glory and honor that can be gained from this Holy War. With the date of the Song of Roland being nearly four hundred years after the actual battle one could see the potential problems with the details of the story. Having no previous records, experts aren t sure whether the epic poem was changed on purpose, or if parts of it were forgotten. Although the tale conveys a sense of heroism and pride, it there are many details that are historically inaccurate. For example, in the Song of Roland , the author describes the opposing forces as Saracens . This term Saracen is used by many authors at the time ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Even things that you think don t have a connection will probably have a connection. For instance Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy have connections too. They have so many connections conspiracy theorists think they represent each other in a different dimension and in a different time. In the next couple sentences the word both is going to be used. A LOT. A connection that they have is that they were both elected into congress in the year 46. Lincoln was elected into congress in 1846 and JFK was elected into congress in 1946. Both of their last names have 7 letters in it. Both were particularly concerned with Civil Rights. Both of their wives had a miscarriage while in the white house.Lincoln was elected in 1860 and JFK was elected in 1960. It gets weirder from here. Trust me. They were both shot on a Friday. Both were shot in the head and wait for it. Both were succeeded by people both named Johnson and the Johnsons were both born in 08. The Johnsons were also both of their vice presidents. Lincoln s successor was born in 1808 and JFK s was born in 1908. Both of their murderers are known by their 3 names. A crazy thing is that both of their full names equal up to 15 letters. Lastly, were both assassinated in the presence of their wife. These conciendesces or connections can be fake, but ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

He was often unable to remember stock numbers, colour codes, product lines, packaging modes, and other information essential for serving clients efficiently and completing orders accurately. These problems were subtle in 1987, but became quite pronounced and embarrassing over the next three years. In May 1989, Arthurs and Jackson had a conflict relating to the purchase of a new company car. According to Jackson, Arthurs presented him with a quotation for a car, which, in Jackson s view, included $2,500 in unnecessary options. Jackson informed Arthurs of his concerns and instructed him to find a car worth $13,000 instead of $16,000. Jackson then left town on business and when he returned was distressed to find that Arthurs had made his proposed car purchase with almost all of the unnecessary options. Jackson issued the cheque to pay for the car, but also included a note to Arthurs saying that he had lost confidence in the sales representative. It was about this time that Jackson contemplated firing Arthurs, but decided instead to be a nice guy and overlook the matter. At the end of 1989, Jackson decided to reassign the North Vancouver independent accounts from Arthurs to another Western Agencies salesperson because the existing accounts had shown minimal growth and no new accounts were being added. ...
