cigarettes, which can deliver nicotine without the vast range of carcinogens and toxins found in a

1. The value and significance of intelligence in law enforcement activities has been growing since
the events of 9/11 when it became apparent that the world s most powerful nation was unable to
protect its people from uneducated goat herders, who chose to carry out terrorist activities. One can
spot claims that the CIA and other intelligence agencies knew about the upcoming terrorist attacks,
they were unable to effectively coordinate their activities with the policeto apprehend the terrorists
(Conser, 2014). The Madrid and London Metro bombings in 2008 and the 2015 2016 terrorist
attacks in Europe (France, Brussels) again showed that police could only react to preplanned attacks
and thus was rather inefficient and ineffective. Since terrorismbecomes a major threat, the need for
police to have updated (or real time) intelligence information available on their computers to better
react to the threats (Spindlove, 2015). What is more important, since the street level officers work
among citizens in the community, with access to proper intelligence information, they can be the
first to face, stop and frisk and apprehend terrorists or other criminals before they engage in crime.

Business Ethics Has Been Difficult For Me Essay
Business Ethics has been difficult for me. I have not had any background in business and so
learning the vocabulary was definitely a challenge. The course as a whole has many different
parts. The lecture and notes as well as the case readings. The case readings tied all of the
vocabulary together and helped me to put the information we have learned into a real life scenario.
Overall, Business Ethicshas been a great way for me to learn about different companies. I also
believe this course helped me to look behind the scenes at the layers of business, and overall the
course gave me a better knowledge and understanding of business as a whole. I have never taken
a business class before, and to be honest, I had no idea what I was getting myself into with this
particular course. The vocabulary was all very new to me as were a lot of the concepts. I had to
really digest each slide on my own and break down a lot of the vocabulary that other students might
have known due to a background in business. This class did enhance my knowledge of business and
business ethics. I wouldn t necessarily say the course changed my view on business, as I didn t
really have a view. The course did give me a view on business, that I now have. I think it was

For me, writing has always been a challenge. I always felt like that I could not express myself
with the words I had been taught or that somehow I had been left out on the instructions on how
to properly write. It s always frustrated me that writing has been a challenge, and that may be
why I enjoy reading so much because other people seem to have a way with words that I don t. I
love reading other people s words a lot more than my own so much so that I tried avoiding writing

messaging system. To encode the communications, XML is used. Web services are self
contained, modular, distributed, dynamic applications that can be described, published, located,
or invoked over the network to create products, processes, and supply chains. These applications
can be local, distributed, or web based. Web services are built on top of open standards such as
TCP/IP, HTTP, Java, HTML, and XML. Web Services have three main components Simple Object
Access Protocol (SOAP), Universal Description Discovery and Integration (UDDI) and Web
Services Description Language (WSDL) and they are built on XML and HTTP platforms.
Due to simplicity, platform independence and XML/SOAP support, Web Services are vulnerable to
various security threats including various new and old inherited security threats. There are various
control measures and certain possible ontological solutions which can reduce the vulnerability of
the Web Services to various security threats.

rights movement by refusing to give up her seat and move to the back of the bus for the one white
citizen that was left standing on the bus. Unfortunately she was arrested, fingerprinted,
incarcerated, and trialed over this situation. Because of Rosa Parks courage on December 1, 1955
people are now able to ride, sit, and coexists with other nonblack people. Just like two of the many
activists, Horton (white) and Malone Jones (black), were two important characters in the civil rights
movements. The Civil Rights Movement was a social movementin the U.S. to end racial
segregation and discrimination against blacks. Raines wrote this book in order for people to tell
their side of their story in the civil rights movement. This book is about political and social history.

than poor whites. At this point it is very important to make clear the psychological association
between white and empowered present in much of the whiteness field, an assumption that Sugrue
argues can be very deceiving.
