undertones could stem from the fact that Athenians were trying to harmonize science and religion.
When new scientific theories were starting to surface and be questioned, many people couldn t even
consider them without sounding as if they were committing treason against the state. Aristophanes
turns to religion in order to remind his audience that both religion and science have to be equally open
to questions, critique, and even in Aristophanes case, satire. This suggestion, that certain things need
to be equally suceptable to to critique and questions can also be seen through the way that
Aristophanes suggests there is both a problem with the accepted model of a well rounded education,

Proteus mirabilis is a Gram negative, dimorphic bacillus and a facultative anaerobe bacterium. It is a
motile member of the family Enterobacteriaceae. This bacteria colonies shows a unique characteristic
called swarming behavior. Swarming occurs when the flagellate rods grow into long chain swarmer
cells, the swarmers gather together forming rafts that swim together, growing into a complex biofilm.

Statistically, about 90% of the proteus infections are caused by proteus mirabilis. It is an opportunist
pathogen, which means it can cause diseases if it colonizes another place other than the
gastrointestinal tract.
P. mirabilis is commonly associated with urinary tract infections. The infection begins when the
organism moves from urethra to the urinary bladder. Urinary tract infections caused by P. mirabilis are
mostly found in patients under long term catherization. Other groups of patients that are at high risks
of the diseases include; those patients with structural abnormalities of the urinary tract, patients with

facilities.
Proteus mirabilis infections accounts for 1% 2% of urinary tract infections in healthy women, 5% of
nosocomial urinary infections and catheterization has a high prevalence of 20% 45%. The organism
causes bladder infection and kidney infection. P. mirabilis produces large amounts of urease which
splits urea into carbon dioxide and ammonia. This process increases the alkalinity of the urine and also
it precipitates magnesium and calcium in the form of struvite and apatite crystals respectively. The

authored by Sebastian Junger and published by Hatchett Book Group in May of 2010. Sebastian
Junger was an embedded reporter with the 2nd Platoon, Battle Company of the 173rd Airborne
Brigade for Vanity Fair magazine, and was entirely dependent on the U.S. military for food, shelter,
security, and transportation.1
This book is the result of five trips taken to Korengal Valley in eastern Afghanistan that were taken
between June 2007 and June 2008. Junger states that he was never asked directly or indirectly to alter
his reporting in any way or to show the contents of his camera. Junger is an American citizen and has
recollections of the terrorist s attacks that took place on September 11, 2001. With this in mind, it
could be cause for some bias reporting that may be presented and talked about through this book
review.
This memoir was written for the main reason of Junger being interested in Americans in Afghanistan.
He was interested in what it was like to serve in a platoon of combat infantry in the
