Principles Of Fiscal Management And Budgeting Essay
In the medical field, there are many forms of caregivers that can tend to a diverse population of
patients. Of these caregivers, a nurse practitioner (NP) has the ability to treat specific conditions
without a doctor s observation. However, NPs also carry with them a great amount of responsibility,
especially when it comes to the business management and legal considerations that go along with
patient care. NPs need to have a complete comprehension of these two aspects of as their profession
grows. This paper will discuss the following: principles of fiscal management and budgeting,
reimbursement issues, and several legal concepts embedded in patient care. Fiscal Management and
Budgeting There are five basic principles of fiscal management and budgeting: revenue, profit, loss,
expense, and a review of the year s goals. The healthcare industry is a business like any other, and an
understanding of these principles is essential in order to help the business thrive (Finkler, Jones,
Kovner, 2013). Mapping out the budget and fiscal management, for any organization, is an essential
starting point in terms of making annual goals. Six to eight months before the fiscal year, the
organization should begin planning its budget. Typically, the chief financial officer, or CFO, is the
person who begins planning the budget for the organization. Taking into consideration the previous
year s employee supplies, promotions, service, benefits, salary, and work hours, the budget can be

bowel disease in dogs and cats is unpleasant and can even be fatal; arm yourself with the facts.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Pets and Companion Animals
Inflammatory bowel disease or IBD is actually not just one disease, but a catchall term for a group of
gastrointestinal diseases that result in the inflammation of the gastrointestinal system and a variety of
symptoms. This is true for both dogs and cats. And, while the exact cause of ... Show more content on

The food allergens thought to trigger the condition include meat proteins, milk proteins, artificial
coloring or other additives and preservatives and gluten from wheat and other grains. Some dog
breeds are more likely to develop IBD than others. These include French bulldogs, Irish setters,
lundehunds, and basenjis.
Signs and Effects of IBD in Pets
Cats and dogs both exhibit similar symptoms when struggling with IBD. Common signs of IBD in
pets are vomiting diarrhea, weight loss, abnormal appetite, and lack of energy, blood in the stool,
flatulence, borborygmus, or a rumbling in the guts, depression, fatigue, abdominal pain, and distressed
coat.
Diagnosis of IBD
Unfortunately, getting a definitive diagnosis of IBD can be very difficult. Many of the signs and
symptoms of IBD mirror those of a great many other diseases. Your veterinarian will want to get a
detailed history from you and as much information as you can give them regarding the symptoms you
ve observed, their duration, and severity. They are then likely to run a series of blood tests and
examine your pet s feces. An ultrasound or X rays may be order to check on the status of other organs.
Metabolic disease, parasitic infection, bacterial infection, some types of cancers, and (in the case of
cats) feline leukemia will all need to be ruled out prior to a diagnosis. A food trial utilizing a

The Morality Of Animal Experimentation
There is tremendous amount of debates that go on in this world on a daily basis. One of the most
talked about debates of the century is that of animal rights and experimentations. This debate, also
known in the animal rights community as vivisection, is one of the most difficult to understand.
Individuals have numerous different outlooks on animals. Many individuals view animals as friends
when others look upon animals as an object of the advancement of medical technologies. No matter
what ones perception is about animals, the fact is that animals are being tortured by research facilities
and cosmetics companies on a daily basis. In spite of the fact that humans frequently benefit from
successful animal experimentations, the pain, and occasionally ... Show more content on

percent of the experimental animals within a certain range of time. To achieve this test, the researchers
hook the experimental animals up to tubes that pump large amounts of the test substance into their
stomachs until they pass. This test is exceedingly painful to the animals because death can take days
or even weeks. The use of Draize and LD50 test have diminished over the past few years, but have not

Summary Of My Trip To The City Aquarium By Avery Bambach
Aquarium By: Avery Baumbach
In the story My Trip to the City Aquarium, the author changed her opinion to go to the aquarium. For
example, at first she didn t want to go , but then when they pulled up to the aquarium, she said I was
amazed at the size of the building.
When she changed her mind after she saw how big it was she thought she was going to have fun. For
Example, when they went inside each of the students received a small souvenir. It was a postcard with
a bright blue and yellow fish. When she saw it, she was surprised how pretty it was.
After they got the postcards her teacher got the class into groups and her group went down the first
hallway toward a reef exhibit. At that time, she had no

Relation Between Inflation Rate and Unemployment
Eurozone unemployment and inflation both rise
01 March 2012 by Daniel Mason
Eurozone unemployment rose to a record high in January, while inflation in the currency bloc has also
continued its upward trend a combination described by economists as unpalatable and a double
whammy of bad news .
The jobless rate in the 17 member currency bloc was 10.7 per cent in January, up from 10.6 per cent in
December, according to statistics published today by Eurostat. It means that, in January, there were
16.9 million people out of work in the eurozone. Meanwhile in the European Union as a whole,
unemployment increased from 10 per cent in December to 10.1 per cent in January, leaving 24.3
million people without a job.

A rise in income will create increased purchasing power. Thus, the demand remains high as it reaches
a point where the supply can no longer meet the demand, inflation occurs. However, at the same time,
when unemployment is high, workers are unable to ask for better wages. This means that prices can
fall, since businesses are not having to pay their employees better wages. Therefore, in many cases,
when there is low unemployment, there is high inflation and vice versa. It has been observed that there
was a stable and inverse relationship between rate of inflation and the rate of unemployment in an
economy. In other words, a lower unemployment rate could be had by tolerating a higher rate of
inflation.
However, since the simultaneous occurrence of high inflation and high unemployment in the United
States and other countries during the 1970s, there has been general agreement that this econometric
relationship is unstable. Indeed, the instability has been so great that Lucas and Sargent characterized
it as econometric failure on a grand scale. (1)
As is known to all, widespread joblessness in Greece and Spain pushed the unemployment rate in the
eurozone to the worst level since 1999. Coupled with the pitched unemployment rate, the economy
has suffered from fluctuation. Take the example of the news released in recent time, which is
concerned with the financial situation in Eurozone. As what we can see in the news report, during the

American Ethnography Essay
What were the strengths and weaknesses of European ethnography and / or science in understanding
the Pacific? To the from here we go today I will not bug okay
The Pacific as we know today was not always as it was implied. There were a variety of perspectives
of The Pacific. Whether it was perceptions of the people, the culture and their way of life, these
perceptions eventually changed over time. Many westerners categorised the pacific islands as a land of
paradise which caused for heavy sexualisation of the islands. Others observed the Pacific Islands as a
place of savagery. These views of the pacific became strengthened and/or weakened by the works of
American and European Explorers and Ethnographers such as Margaret Mead. In effect, western ...

According to ethnographers who studied the pacific there are two contrasting groups of people. On the
one hand there was the view of soft primitivism which was represented by the Tahitians and
Hawaiians. Life was portrayed as being easy, and people were pure and guileless. Their lives were
filled with pleasure and uninhibited sex. On the other hand, there was hard primitivism (Kiste, 1985,
pg. 3). It was represented by people who lived in harsher climates which made them much tougher.
The Melanesian peoples represented this notion to an extent. They practiced magic, sorcery,
headhunting and cannibalism and Europeans found them very difficult to communicate with They
supposedly did not need or want all of the material goods considered necessary by Europeans, and
thus they were better off (Kiste, 1985, pg. 3). Till this present day some of the Melanesian islands such
as Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands are still viewed in the similar form. The Pacific Islands is
a group of similar people and lifestyles, however, the contrast between neighbouring islands was
recognizable. In a sense, the way Melanesians lived a hard primitivism lifestyle instilled fear and
distaste in foreigners difficult places and their less healthy environment made them less attractive
(Kiste, 1985, pg. 5) This is evident in the book, The Pacific Islands , where Melanesians

Mummification throughout the World
Mummies of humans and animals have been found throughout the world. The most well known
culture for preserving the dead with mummification were the ancient Egyptians. Although
mummification existed before the Egyptians with mummies from northern Chile, the Egyptians were
focused on the prospect of eternal life, which meant preserving the body for life. The earliest process
of mummification took place as early as 3000 BC. Special priests worked as embalmers, caring for
and wrapping the body. Beyond knowing the correct rituals and prayers to be performed at various
stages, the priests also needed a detailed knowledge of human anatomy. The first step in the process
was to remove all internal parts that might decay quickly. The brain was removed by carefully
inserting special hooked instruments up through the nostrils in order to pull out bits of brain tissue. It
was a hard job, one which a wrong move could easily disfigure the face. The priest then removed the
organs of the gut and chest through a cut usually made on the left side of the abdomen, (except the
heart) and stored in canopic jars. The skulls of the dead would then be filled with a thick plant paste. It
wasn t until the Middle Kingdom(2050 BC and 1652 BC) that the process began to take on a more
advanced form. After removing organs and the brain ,the caretakers would use natural salts to remove
moisture from the bodies of the dead, drying out flesh and bone. The emptied bodies were then
covered in salt to

Forbush High School in the 106/113 pound weight class throughout this winter sport. Before, I must
admit that I did at many different times think that the sport of wrestling was the most dumb and
homosexual sport ever. One of my friends came up to me a few months after and asked me what I
thought about wrestling. I told him like I said to everyone else, It s the most homosexual sport ever

A new era of wrestling was born called the WWWF (World Wide Wrestling Federation). The WWWF
was founded by Vince McMahon Sr. and Toots Mondt in the year of 1963 when Capital Wrestling
broke away from the NWA. The WWWF performed in the cities of New York, Philadelphia,
Pittsburgh, Boston, Washington D.C., Baltimore, and other smaller towns as well (Strongbow). A man
named Buddy Rogers was selected to be the very first WWWF champion in 1963. He was veteran
wrestler at the time and was defeated by Bruno Sammartino after only holding the title for only a few
months. Sammartino held the title until 1971 until he was defeated by Ivan Koloff, who later on
defeated Koloff in 1973 (Strongbow). The company was renamed from WWWF to WWF (World
Wrestling Federation) in 1979 ( Online World Of Wrestling ). Vince McMahon Sr. sold the company
to his son Vince McMahon Jr. in 1983 (Cohen). Vince set out to conquer the wrestling world with his
new company. One of Vince s first moves was signing legend Hulk Hogan who is still considered one
of the greatest WWF wrestlers to this very day. He signed Hulk Hogan as an ambassador for his
wrestling brand. Vince had found out it was costing him a lot of money to be on TV. and needed to do

The American Marketing Association ( Ama )
Introduction
According to the definition from the American Marketing Association (AMA), a brand is a name,
term, sign or combination of them intended to identify goods and services of one or a group of sellers
and distinguish it from competitors.
Brands play different roles in the lives of individuals (Ajgaonkar, 2012). But the roles they play
depends on the individual (Kardes et. al, 2011), due to the fact that we are not all the same. According
to Belk (1988), an individual may use personal possessions such as jewelry or clothing to help define
an individual s sense of self
Levy (1959) and Holam (1981) also support the statement by arguing that clothing has a symbolic
attribute, which is used as a form of social interaction. The aim of this essay is to define the roles that
brands play in my life and how they contribute to my sense of self. This will be accomplished by
drawing on my personal experience with brands and with the support of academic material. To suit the
purpose of this essay, I decided to use three brands; Converses, Playstation and Kurt Geiger.
The Brands
Converses is one of the oldest footwear brands. The brand initially produced shoes for basketball
players but eventually converted to mass market. Converses portray a tough, masculine appeal that
customers would associate with the shoe brand. The brand also falls under the excitement dimension,
which portrays, a spirited, imaginative and daring characteristic (Aaker,

Cash Flows: Basic Concepts The cash flows that we will use in our analysis are incremental after tax

opportunity are those after tax cash flows and only those after tax cash flows directly attributable to

lymphedema is an excess amount of lymphatic fluid in our skin tissue that causes bloating or swelling
in the arms or legs.
Lymphoma is any cancer that originates in the lymphatic system cells, tissue, lymph nodes and spleen.
The lymphomas are divided into two major categories: Hodgkin lymphoma and all other lymphomas,
called non Hodgkin lymphomas.
Networks of lymph vessels, lymphatic tissue, and bean shaped lymph nodes make the lymphatic
system. The lymph vessels collect lymph fluid from the body tissues and transport it to the blood,
maintaining fluid balance in the body. Lymph is filtered through lymph nodes, which are packed with

Lymphoma is a type of blood cancer that affects lymphocytes and the lymphocyte producing cells in

The SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and WIC (Women, Infants, Children)
programs both have similar jobs. Both programs attempt to help feed struggling families. In the past
SNAP allowed members to purchase food staples and prepackaged food, but a recent bill is being
made in order to address these rules. These changes will deactivate members abilities to purchase
prepackaged food, and has limited them to purchase only food staples. These food staples included
foods such as rice, bread, fruits, etc. While the desired new rules for SNAP are similar to the current
rules of WIC, the bill will also attempt to allow members of WIC to purchase white potatoes in
addition to their food staples. Multiple commodities economic standing will experience larger impacts
on supply and demand from this proposed bill s changes and implications. As SNAP shifts to strictly
staple foods, the economic impacts will implement changes on the supply and demand of rice. In the
short run the price of rice will rise and the demand curve of rice will shift outward. This effect will
take place because of SNAP s proposed limitations. If the members of SNAP are limited to only food
staples they will find themselves demanding more rice than before. This shift will cause an upward
movement along the supply curve. There will be an increase in the quantity of rice supplied in the long
run because the demand will have grown from the limitations placed on SNAP consumers that

In order to create a DNA fingerprint, a sample of cells containing DNA must be obtained first. This

best actor in a supporting role to name a few. Because this was his last Western, he committed or
devoted the movie to his mentors Don Seigel and Sergio Leone. All three of the key natures were
portrayed to the outstanding of their Skiles or performance.

Sticking to Your Guns or Conforming to Social Pressure in...
Conforming to Social Pressures
How do people conform to social pressures? Will they go along with other s opinions, or will they
stick to their guns and trust their own judgments? To determine the effect of socials pressure on
decision making, an experiment was performed to test the hypothesis; If a person is presented with
visual information in a group setting and asked questions about their perception of what they see, will
they truthfully respond if others in the group unanimously choose the wrong answer? A study titled A
Minority of One Against a Unanimous Majority , Solomon E. Asch designed an experiment to test the
power of social forces to understand the extent of influence they have on psychological function.

Data was collected for each of the experimental groups and showed that 37 or the 50 critical subjects
conformed themselves to the obviously erroneous answers given by the other group members at least
once, and 14 of them conformed on more than 6 of the staged trials. (Solomon Asch experiment
(1958) A study of conformity) Looking further in to the data, it was determined that some of the
critical subjects always yielded to the majority response and others never went with the majority, but
most of the subjects did not belong to either of these extremes (Asch). The mode of the data showed
that the majority of the subjects that decided to conform to the majority did so in the second trial,
indicating that the stress of answering differently than the majority of the participants caused them to
consistently adopt a course of action to avoid singling themselves out (Asch). Considering that some
of the subjects did not conform until about midway through the experiment the results showed that
most individuals show a high internal consistency (Asch) , that is, once the critical subject decided to
conform to the majority, they stuck with that strategy for the rest of the experiment. In 1951 Asch
conducted further trials where he changed the independent variables to try to figure out what factors
most influence the dependent variable, conformity. He concluded that the factors increasing
conformity were; the size of the group, the larger the test group, the more likely

Social Classes In Plato s Republic
Just as the soul has three distinct parts that compose it the republic has three distinct social classes and
without each of the three parts, the republic cannot function properly. There is dependability among
the three social classes in the republic because people cannot survive alone, a farmer won t make his
own plough, not if it s to be a good one, nor his hoe, nor any of his other farming tools. Neither will a
builder and he, too, needs lots of things (Republic, II, 370d). Dependability will become a key element
amongst the citizens because one man alone cannot maintain an entire republic, he cannot take on
twenty distinct roles in society at the same time. This will not uphold an entire city and will only
prevent the republic from having

A Christmas Present, By Richmal Crompton
A Christmas Present Review
Christmas, is the most wonderful time of the year. A time for family, friends, and food. Stories of the
year are shared by all, for the children stories of Christmas are told. Frosty, Rudolf, Mr. Scrooge, and
James Penguin are all fairly classic Christmas stories known by most. Here is a new one to add to your
Christmas collection. A Christmas Present by Richmal Crompton. This story takes place in the home
of John Clay and his wife Mary s aunt and uncle s, but her aunt happens to be deaf. Mary is a quiet
woman, fond of silence as she reads by the fireplace.
Unfortunately, her husband John Clay can t stand the silence he often talks just to hear his own loud,
boisterous voice. They had been married for ten years

Comparing WALL-E And Brave New World
Brave New World, a dystopian novel written by Aldous Huxley, depicts a dystopian world of the
future in which sex, social class, and orthodoxy are focused upon. WALL E, a Disney Pixar film, also
dystopian, epitomizes a prospective world of obesity, emphasizes the consequences of mistreating the
Earth s resources, and displays technological advancements. The two are not to be confused with a
utopian society one in which the future is depicted as quintessential. Dystopian societies similarly
focus on the future, but rather one that depicts a deteriorated planet. Though Brave New World and
WALL E highlight different morals and lessons to be learned for prevention in our current day society,
the two share qualities of hedonism and unlikely futures. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Both display the ignorance of the people in each society, in that they are not able realize the problems
in their culture and community. Society in Brave New World seems perfect to everyone but John the
Savage. Readers cannot help but agree with John the Savage because of dramatic irony. The reader
knows things that the characters in the story do not. Social classes are implemented, with embryos and
young children undergoing conditioning to fit their selected type. An employee of the factory, Henry
Foster claims that the classes are a benefaction to Society (14), and the rest agree. No one is to go out
of their class and attempt to do anything else; no one is to associate themselves with those of a
different group. Similarly, in WALL E, those who once inhabited Earth now occupy outer space on a
starliner called the Axiom. This is due to the lack of recycling and mass destruction to Earth by
humans. A sense of guilt is not present among the people, and they love living on the Axiom. They all
become extremely obese and rely on technology to do everything for them. Like Brave New World,
humans are engulfed by pleasure and are not concerned with much else. The people of WALL E gorge
on food as if they are machines programmed to do so. Both John the Savage and Wall E are
exceedingly disturbed by the behaviors that are considered the norm in their respective

Causes Of Fear Of Crime
Gilchrist et al (1998, pg283) explains that the fear of crime has become a phenomenon and one that
will be discussed within this journal review exploring whether or not women s fear is rational or not.
McLaughlin (2001) cited in Kinsella, C (2005) defines fear of crime as ...a rational or irrational state
of alarm or anxiety engendered by the belief that one is in danger of criminal victimisation . Campbell
(2005, pg120) explains that due to social political mobility, women s fear of rape is heightened, thus
women are dependent on men to protect them from other men, however, it has been shown that family
members and close friends are normally the rapists. Alongside this, Campbell (2005, pg121) continues
to explain that through a criminological and victimological viewpoint, the institutional, political and
cultural surroundings additionally express that women are more at risk than men. The British Crime
Survey contributes further evidence of women being assaulted by men they know as the survey
showed that 32% of women were sexually assaulted by a partner compared to 8% by strangers.
Gilchrist et al (1998, pg284) explains that with a low crime threat, women still have an irrational
response. However, feminist writers explain that this could be due to the fact that women suffer sexual
harassment and have less control over their space than men do, thus the higher fear levels.
Furthermore, Gilchrist (1998, pg285) tells us that women are are not hysterically overreacting to a

Richard III a Tyrant as King Essay
Richard III a Tyrant as King Throughout history, this very title has been disputed and the outcome has
remained debatable to this very day. Richard, Duke of York had remained loyal to his brother, Edward
IV throughout his years of reign, and had been well rewarded for his support, he became the Duke of
Gloucester. In marrying Anne Neville, daughter of Earl of Warwick, he had inherited mass amounts of
Neville land in the north of England after both the Earl and Anne died. He was respected within the
northern parts of England and provided land for his friends. He was an able man who showed signs of
being an efficient king amidst the preoccupations of the rebellions, sadly he went about it the ... Show

The manner, in which Richard moved for authority, seems to put forward that he was the tyrant of
Shakespeare s play. He also professed that he had been informed, by a Bishop, of how Edward had
been betrothed to a woman by the name of Eleanor Boteles, before his marriage to Elizabeth in 1464.
This therefore proved the marriage was invalid and the children were bastards. There was no evidence
to contradict Richard, as both Edward and Eleanor were dead, she had died a number of years before
the story came out. With all other claimants to the throne dead, Richard was the rightful heir. Richard s
seizure of the throne could also be seen as ambitious, or overly ambitious, and this cost him support.
On becoming king, he had shared southern land between his northern supporters, loosing all trust and
loyalty from the south. When Richard arrived in London he quickly on the spot killed Lord Hastings.
He moved him to take out the support for his nephew, Edward V, as Lord Hastings had been possibly
Edward V biggest supporter. Richard later said it was due to the fact that Hastings had been scheming
himself to take the crown. But by killing Hatings on the spot seems a dictatorial act with both this act
and the manner that Richard took the crown does not help to improve the view of Richard III. Richard

Then about twenty people crowded round me while I was on a sun bed. I was the centre of attention,
and then out of the blue my mum said there is an air helicopter coming to get me. After five minuets
of waiting my mum came up to me once again and said jay come with me, the doctor is coming and he
will be here quicker than the air helicopter, I was familiar with this doctor as he had seen me many
times before in the past. It was a struggle to walk up to my flat which would normally be a five or six

Mr. Lasko s Loss Of Prosthetic Leg
Summary: This article is a great read, and is about Mr. Lasko, a marine who unfortunately lost one of
his legs in Afghanistan. Lasko participated in a project where he tested out a prosthetic leg specifically
designed for swimming. He would swim laps around the pool and tell Todd Goldstein, the designer of
the leg, how he was feeling. Prosthetic legs have been waterproof for some time but this leg is meant
to swim and help propel you through the water. The leg was designed by Goldstein who used a
process of trial and error with Lasko to come up with the final product. Lasko is a father of two boys
who love to swim and since his accident he has wished for a better way to swim with his kids. It took
some time for Lasko to get adjusted to the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I don t think that people without handicaps realize how big of a deal it is to be able to jump into the
water and keep yourself afloat. To be able to swim and play with your kids or friends is taken for
granted. Obviously, it is not only swimming that is tough for people with handicaps. Swimming is just
one more way we can work to bring them some joy again. I really enjoyed this article and thought it
was a great choice, because I think it is wonderful that people are constantly working to make people
with handicaps lives easier. I have not personally dealt with someone in my family with a disability,
with some motor function like their legs, but I had to be on crutches for two weeks when I was in
middle school, and it was hell. If I simply hated dealing with crutches for two weeks, I cannot imagine
people who have had them for years and years to come. Making life easier and more accessible for
these people is a great use of time and money. I love everything about this practice, except the fact the
insurance will not cover prosthetics. I believe in a few years once it becomes less expensive and the
business grows that insurance companies will finally jump on board. They may seem expensive now
but it is almost a brand new technology. They will always have high startup costs. It is the next step in
medical technology and many people suffer from these disabilities, so we must help them every way
we can. When people suffer from a disability like this, they simply don t get enough exercise because
it is much more difficult and dangerous. Without giving these people access to this leg is cruel because
they will only get in worse shape. I hope that Lasko can swim comfortably with his kids from now on,
and now we just need to keep on advancing with this technology. These prosthetics will simply keep
on improving being able to do more and more for the user. I have seen a prosthetic arm that can move

Decentralized Wastewater Systems Regulatory And Economic...
6. Decentralized Wastewater Systems Regulatory and Economic Challenges
During the last twenty years the USEPA has been evaluating decentralized wastewater treatment
technologies as a reliable alternative for wastewater treatment. In 1997, the EPA submitted to congress
its Report and subsequent documents endorsing decentralized wastewater treatment as a permanent
long term solution for wastewater treatment. The Report stated that adequately managed decentralized
wastewater systems are a cost effective long term option for meeting public health and water quality
goals, particularly in less densely populated areas. The following is a summary the key components of
the Report:

Also decentralized systems are suitable for a variety of site conditions, including shallow water tables
or bedrock, low permeability soils, and small lot sizes. One of the additional benefits is that
decentralized systems are also suitable for ecologically sensitive areas (where advanced treatment,
such as nutrient removal or disinfection is necessary). Since centralized systems require collection of
wastewater for an entire community at substantial cost, decentralized systems, when properly
installed, operated and maintained, can achieve significant cost savings while recharging local aquifers
and providing other water reuse opportunities close to points of wastewater generation (USEPA 1997).
This benefit not only help alleviates the cost burden but also helps to improve the watershed
conditions.
The EPA Report also evaluated the obstacles that decentralized system may confront and ways to
overcome the barriers were presented. The following are the most common barriers for the
implementation of decentralized systems:
Lack of Knowledge and Public Misperception. The perception of some homeowners, realtors, and
developers that centralized systems are better for property values and are more acceptable than
decentralized systems, even if they are far more costly, makes it difficult to demonstrate that properly
designed and managed decentralized systems

Dante s Paradiso And Cur Deus Daman Analysis
God is the ultimate creator of all. Before God created the world, nothing preexisted. The reason God
created the world was to be generous, not by someone forcing him. God is the almighty power so God
is not told what to do, He chooses what he does. Saint Anselm through his story Cur Deus Homo and
Dante through his story Divine Comedy talk about the incarnation of Christ to show the almighty
power that God holds. God makes all his decisions for the benefit of the people and does what He
feels is best for them. In Dante s Paradiso and in Cur Deus Homo by Saint Anselm they show that his
decision of incarnating Christ was a necessary one for the people of the world to have the ability to
forgive human sins, to show His infinite power, and to keep ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Humans are powerful, but there are tasks that can only be done by certain individuals. The individual
needs to have infinite power, which only God has. Saint Anselm s writes If then, as is certain, that
celestial city must be completed from among men, and this cannot happen unless the aforesaid
satisfaction is made, while no one save God can make it and no one save man ought to make it, it is
necessary for a God Man to make it. (2,6). The celestial city is a heavenly city. The only person
capable of constructing a celestial city is God and for this, God needs to be Man. The city proves that
incarnation happened since no human can construct such a city. God is the highest figure in the
hierarchy of power and since nobody below him was able construct the city, it only leaves God. In
Dante, Beatrice said Man, in his limits, could not recompense: for no obedience, no humility, he
offered later could have been so deep that it could match the heights he meant to reach through
disobedience; man lacked the power to offer satisfaction by himself. Thus, there was a need for God,
through His own ways, to bring man back to life intact I mean by one way or another. (7. 97 103).
Like Anselm s story, God was the only one who had the power to complete such a task. God needed
the people to fight through the disobedience and for that to happen they needed a guide. God is the
only person who has infinite power, so he needed to bring Christ into the world to help the helpless
beings. God is the only one who had the power to create someone like Jesus to help the people who

How Did John Wycliffe Influence The Medieval Church
Church History Research Paper; by Alex Szabo, Fall 2017 Semester
John Wycliffe, (ca. 1330 1384), was an English philosopher, theologian, reformer, and professor at
Oxford. Ultimately, he was martyred. Wycliffe was hailed as the Morning Star of Reformation because
he marshalled and leveraged all his acumen to expose the abuses of the medieval Roman Catholic
Church. John Wycliffe was one of the initial personalities of papal authority to influence a secular
power. The Lollard movement, which was lead by Wycliffe, took place before the Protestant
Reformation. His most noteworthy accomplishment was the delivery of the Holy Bible in the

Yes, once there was a man who led a revision to the medieval church powerbase, influenced his own
peers with newer thoughts, influenced scores of students with his teachings (i.e. John Hus), introduced
newer philosophes, newer theological thought, led educational and religious institutions, translated the
Scriptures into his native language so that all could have, preached the word of God, was executed for
his positions, what a terrible irony.
The very essence of those who hate, to attempt to wipe out every trace of existence of a man who once

  • 2. Principles Of Fiscal Management And Budgeting Essay In the medical field, there are many forms of caregivers that can tend to a diverse population of patients. Of these caregivers, a nurse practitioner (NP) has the ability to treat specific conditions without a doctor s observation. However, NPs also carry with them a great amount of responsibility, especially when it comes to the business management and legal considerations that go along with patient care. NPs need to have a complete comprehension of these two aspects of as their profession grows. This paper will discuss the following: principles of fiscal management and budgeting, reimbursement issues, and several legal concepts embedded in patient care. Fiscal Management and Budgeting There are five basic principles of fiscal management and budgeting: revenue, profit, loss, expense, and a review of the year s goals. The healthcare industry is a business like any other, and an understanding of these principles is essential in order to help the business thrive (Finkler, Jones, Kovner, 2013). Mapping out the budget and fiscal management, for any organization, is an essential starting point in terms of making annual goals. Six to eight months before the fiscal year, the organization should begin planning its budget. Typically, the chief financial officer, or CFO, is the person who begins planning the budget for the organization. Taking into consideration the previous year s employee supplies, promotions, service, benefits, salary, and work hours, the budget can be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The food allergens thought to trigger the condition include meat proteins, milk proteins, artificial coloring or other additives and preservatives and gluten from wheat and other grains. Some dog breeds are more likely to develop IBD than others. These include French bulldogs, Irish setters, lundehunds, and basenjis. Signs and Effects of IBD in Pets Cats and dogs both exhibit similar symptoms when struggling with IBD. Common signs of IBD in pets are vomiting diarrhea, weight loss, abnormal appetite, and lack of energy, blood in the stool, flatulence, borborygmus, or a rumbling in the guts, depression, fatigue, abdominal pain, and distressed coat. Diagnosis of IBD Unfortunately, getting a definitive diagnosis of IBD can be very difficult. Many of the signs and symptoms of IBD mirror those of a great many other diseases. Your veterinarian will want to get a detailed history from you and as much information as you can give them regarding the symptoms you ve observed, their duration, and severity. They are then likely to run a series of blood tests and examine your pet s feces. An ultrasound or X rays may be order to check on the status of other organs. One of the most talked about debates of the century is that of animal rights and experimentations. This debate, also known in the animal rights community as vivisection, is one of the most difficult to understand. Individuals have numerous different outlooks on animals. Many individuals view animals as friends when others look upon animals as an object of the advancement of medical technologies. To achieve this test, the researchers hook the experimental animals up to tubes that pump large amounts of the test substance into their stomachs until they pass. Relation Between Inflation Rate and Unemployment Eurozone unemployment and inflation both rise 01 March 2012 by Daniel Mason Eurozone unemployment rose to a record high in January, while inflation in the currency bloc has also continued its upward trend a combination described by economists as unpalatable and a double whammy of bad news . The jobless rate in the 17 member currency bloc was 10.7 per cent in January, up from 10.6 per cent in December, according to statistics published today by Eurostat. It means that, in January, there were 16.9 million people out of work in the eurozone. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A rise in income will create increased purchasing power. Thus, the demand remains high as it reaches a point where the supply can no longer meet the demand, inflation occurs. However, at the same time, when unemployment is high, workers are unable to ask for better wages. This means that prices can fall, since businesses are not having to pay their employees better wages. Therefore, in many cases, when there is low unemployment, there is high inflation and vice versa. It has been observed that there was a stable and inverse relationship between rate of inflation and the rate of unemployment in an economy. In other words, a lower unemployment rate could be had by tolerating a higher rate of inflation. However, since the simultaneous occurrence of high inflation and high unemployment in the United States and other countries during the 1970s, there has been general agreement that this econometric relationship is unstable. Indeed, the instability has been so great that Lucas and Sargent characterized it as econometric failure on a grand scale. (1) As is known to all, widespread joblessness in Greece and Spain pushed the unemployment rate in the eurozone to the worst level since 1999. Coupled with the pitched unemployment rate, the economy has suffered from fluctuation. Take the example of the news released in recent time, which is concerned with the financial situation in Eurozone. As what we can see in the news report, during the business ... To the from here we go today I will not bug okay The Pacific as we know today was not always as it was implied. There were a variety of perspectives of The Pacific. Whether it was perceptions of the people, the culture and their way of life, these perceptions eventually changed over time. On the one hand there was the view of soft primitivism which was represented by the Tahitians and Hawaiians. Life was portrayed as being easy, and people were pure and guileless. Their lives were filled with pleasure and uninhibited sex. On the other hand, there was hard primitivism (Kiste, 1985, pg. 3). It was represented by people who lived in harsher climates which made them much tougher. The Melanesian peoples represented this notion to an extent. They practiced magic, sorcery, headhunting and cannibalism and Europeans found them very difficult to communicate with They supposedly did not need or want all of the material goods considered necessary by Europeans, and thus they were better off (Kiste, 1985, pg. 3). Till this present day some of the Melanesian islands such as Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands are still viewed in the similar form. The Pacific Islands is a group of similar people and lifestyles, however, the contrast between neighbouring islands was recognizable. In a sense, the way Melanesians lived a hard primitivism lifestyle instilled fear and distaste in foreigners difficult places and their less healthy environment made them less attractive (Kiste, 1985, pg. 5) This is evident in the book, The Pacific Islands , where Melanesians ... • 9. Mummification throughout the World Mummies of humans and animals have been found throughout the world. The most well known culture for preserving the dead with mummification were the ancient Egyptians. Although mummification existed before the Egyptians with mummies from northern Chile, the Egyptians were focused on the prospect of eternal life, which meant preserving the body for life. The earliest process of mummification took place as early as 3000 BC. Special priests worked as embalmers, caring for and wrapping the body. Beyond knowing the correct rituals and prayers to be performed at various stages, the priests also needed a detailed knowledge of human anatomy. The first step in the process was to remove all internal parts that might decay quickly. The brain was removed by carefully inserting special hooked instruments up through the nostrils in order to pull out bits of brain tissue. It was a hard job, one which a wrong move could easily disfigure the face. The priest then removed the organs of the gut and chest through a cut usually made on the left side of the abdomen, (except the heart) and stored in canopic jars. The skulls of the dead would then be filled with a thick plant paste. It wasn t until the Middle Kingdom(2050 BC and 1652 BC) that the process began to take on a more advanced form. After removing organs and the brain ,the caretakers would use natural salts to remove moisture from the bodies of the dead, drying out flesh and bone. The emptied bodies were then covered in salt to ... • 12. The American Marketing Association ( Ama ) Introduction According to the definition from the American Marketing Association (AMA), a brand is a name, term, sign or combination of them intended to identify goods and services of one or a group of sellers and distinguish it from competitors. Brands play different roles in the lives of individuals (Ajgaonkar, 2012). But the roles they play depends on the individual (Kardes et. al, 2011), due to the fact that we are not all the same. According to Belk (1988), an individual may use personal possessions such as jewelry or clothing to help define an individual s sense of self Levy (1959) and Holam (1981) also support the statement by arguing that clothing has a symbolic attribute, which is used as a form of social interaction. The aim of this essay is to define the roles that brands play in my life and how they contribute to my sense of self. This will be accomplished by drawing on my personal experience with brands and with the support of academic material. To suit the purpose of this essay, I decided to use three brands; Converses, Playstation and Kurt Geiger. The Brands Converses is one of the oldest footwear brands. The brand initially produced shoes for basketball players but eventually converted to mass market. Converses portray a tough, masculine appeal that customers would associate with the shoe brand. Both programs attempt to help feed struggling families. In the past SNAP allowed members to purchase food staples and prepackaged food, but a recent bill is being made in order to address these rules. These changes will deactivate members abilities to purchase prepackaged food, and has limited them to purchase only food staples. In 1997, the EPA submitted to congress its Report and subsequent documents endorsing decentralized wastewater treatment as a permanent long term solution for wastewater treatment. The Report stated that adequately managed decentralized wastewater systems are a cost effective long term option for meeting public health and water quality goals, particularly in less densely populated areas. The following is a summary the key components of the Report: The Agency (USEPA) provided an analysis of the benefits of using ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Also decentralized systems are suitable for a variety of site conditions, including shallow water tables or bedrock, low permeability soils, and small lot sizes. One of the additional benefits is that decentralized systems are also suitable for ecologically sensitive areas (where advanced treatment, such as nutrient removal or disinfection is necessary). Since centralized systems require collection of wastewater for an entire community at substantial cost, decentralized systems, when properly installed, operated and maintained, can achieve significant cost savings while recharging local aquifers and providing other water reuse opportunities close to points of wastewater generation (USEPA 1997). This benefit not only help alleviates the cost burden but also helps to improve the watershed conditions. The EPA Report also evaluated the obstacles that decentralized system may confront and ways to overcome the barriers were presented. The following are the most common barriers for the implementation of decentralized systems: Lack of Knowledge and Public Misperception. The perception of some homeowners, realtors, and developers that centralized systems are better for property values and are more acceptable than decentralized systems, even if they are far more costly, makes it difficult to demonstrate that properly designed and managed decentralized systems ... • 34. Dante s Paradiso And Cur Deus Daman Analysis God is the ultimate creator of all. Before God created the world, nothing preexisted. The reason God created the world was to be generous, not by someone forcing him. God is the almighty power so God is not told what to do, He chooses what he does. Saint Anselm through his story Cur Deus Homo and Dante through his story Divine Comedy talk about the incarnation of Christ to show the almighty power that God holds. God makes all his decisions for the benefit of the people and does what He feels is best for them. In Dante s Paradiso and in Cur Deus Homo by Saint Anselm they show that his decision of incarnating Christ was a necessary one for the people of the world to have the ability to forgive human sins, to show His infinite power, and to keep ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Humans are powerful, but there are tasks that can only be done by certain individuals. The individual needs to have infinite power, which only God has. Saint Anselm s writes If then, as is certain, that celestial city must be completed from among men, and this cannot happen unless the aforesaid satisfaction is made, while no one save God can make it and no one save man ought to make it, it is necessary for a God Man to make it. (2,6). The celestial city is a heavenly city. The only person capable of constructing a celestial city is God and for this, God needs to be Man. The city proves that incarnation happened since no human can construct such a city. God is the highest figure in the hierarchy of power and since nobody below him was able construct the city, it only leaves God. In Dante, Beatrice said Man, in his limits, could not recompense: for no obedience, no humility, he offered later could have been so deep that it could match the heights he meant to reach through disobedience; man lacked the power to offer satisfaction by himself. Thus, there was a need for God, through His own ways, to bring man back to life intact I mean by one way or another. (7. 97 103). Like Anselm s story, God was the only one who had the power to complete such a task. God needed the people to fight through the disobedience and for that to happen they needed a guide. God is the only person who has infinite power, so he needed to bring Christ into the world to help the helpless beings. God is the only one who had the power to create someone like Jesus to help the people who were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. How Did John Wycliffe Influence The Medieval Church Church History Research Paper; by Alex Szabo, Fall 2017 Semester John Wycliffe, (ca. 1330 1384), was an English philosopher, theologian, reformer, and professor at Oxford. Ultimately, he was martyred. Wycliffe was hailed as the Morning Star of Reformation because he marshalled and leveraged all his acumen to expose the abuses of the medieval Roman Catholic Church. John Wycliffe was one of the initial personalities of papal authority to influence a secular power. The Lollard movement, which was lead by Wycliffe, took place before the Protestant Reformation. His most noteworthy accomplishment was the delivery of the Holy Bible in the vernacular of the English People. He declared, scriptures are the property of the people and that no one should be ... But his Bible lived in the hearts and minds of men for 150 years. Yes, once there was a man who led a revision to the medieval church powerbase, influenced his own peers with newer thoughts, influenced scores of students with his teachings (i.e. John Hus), introduced newer philosophes, newer theological thought, led educational and religious institutions, translated the Scriptures into his native language so that all could have, preached the word of God, was executed for his positions, what a terrible irony. The very essence of those who hate, to attempt to wipe out every trace of existence of a man who once accomplished these feats, still out influenced and placed his hallmark not only into history books, but onto the hearts of men and institutions they seek to grow and thrive in. even those who followed after thinking they wiped out this scourge, a traveler of that time observed, every second man he met, was a Lollard!
