What Makes An Outstanding Lesson

An outstanding lesson is characterized by the following: 1) All students are challenged at their ability level and make good progress, while those lacking confidence also make progress. 2) Enthusiasm and enjoyment pervade the classroom. Teaching methods engage students through stimulating resources or other adults. 3) All students are actively involved and contribute during the lesson. Assessment is used to provide regular, helpful feedback to support student progress.
