Fresh waters constitute scarcely about 3% of all
reserves of waters on the Earth and their size is
being estimated at the c 35 m ³ m. What's
interesting, their centre in the form of glaciers and
the snowy lid is biggest on Antarctica. Scientists are
estimating, that is there close the 61% of all fresh
waters on a planet, and remaining glaciers and snows in
the world are collecting the 9% of water.
Underground waters which they are drawing are a
source the second largest c 29.6% of stores, however
rivers, sweet lakes and shallow underground waters
constitute the 0.4% of the volume of all fresh waters
scarcely.
The majority of countries in the world is suffering to
the shortage of water, scarcely a dozen or so has so-
called surpluses. It is e.g. Norway, which on account of
relatively the little population and the cool temperate
climate have water in abundance. The bad situation is
ruling in Africa and some countries of Asia. Poland
against this background isn't coming out well - is one
from poorest in Europe of countries constantly grows
in water, but for her consuming. On average, in Europe
to one man he is falling annually to 5100 ³ m of life-
giving liquid, however in Poland only 1700 ³ m.
Aquatic resources in Poland falling to one
resident are smaller than in neighbouring
countries and much lower than the
European average. It appears from data
of the National management Board of the
water management that to one inhabitant
of Poland he is falling on average c 1580
m3 of water to the year, but average
stores to one resident of Europe it 4560
m3 / year.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) above a
billion people in the world he isn't having access generally
speaking to the clean drinking water, in Europe they over 100
m are feeling. Also a deteriorating water quality caused by
the human activity is a relevant problem. Development of
urbanization, industry, farming, population increase of the
Earth results in the bigger use of aquatic resources and the
height of polluting them. Organisation for Economic Co-
operation and Development (OECD) is warning that the
demand for the drinking water will rise by the 55% to 2050.
Additionally a climate change causing extreme weather
conditions is a factor adversely affecting the state of the
hydrosphere (intense falls, floods, droughts)
Supplies of the fresh water aren't inexhaustible. It
is regarding underground waters above all - main of
their magazine on the Earth. These waters in the
large degree are being consumed than can be renewed
in natural hydrological circulation. Additionally a step
of pollutants of these waters is growing. With
primary sourcefor replenishing reserves of water sa
precipitations, which permeating base deep into they
are powering underground waters or are flowing down
surface waters to the sea. If falls are very intense
mainly a surface outflow of waters causes it, and in
little only a step permeation to base and powering
In the world over one billion two hundred
million people have a hampered access to
water, and 200 million are suffering from
desire. The World Health Organization is
estimating, that every day about 6000
children because of illnesses connected
with the scarcity of the drinking water
die what he/she is marking, that every 15
seconds one child is dying.
What to do in order to save
water?
To have a shower, instead of the bath. The bath in
the bathtub costs c 200 litres of water.
At brushing teeth, turn water, flowing from the tap
off, for the lavage of teeth use water from the small
mug. Specialists enumerated, that lavage of teeth
under the running water these are 9 litres of water
for the minute.
Check whether they don't have a leakage: water
meters and the installation supplying water to tap
waters or toilets; change gaskets worn out in fittings,
check whether the toilet cistern isn't leaking in the

  • 2. Fresh waters constitute scarcely about 3% of all reserves of waters on the Earth and their size is being estimated at the c 35 m ³ m. What's interesting, their centre in the form of glaciers and the snowy lid is biggest on Antarctica. Scientists are estimating, that is there close the 61% of all fresh waters on a planet, and remaining glaciers and snows in the world are collecting the 9% of water. Underground waters which they are drawing are a source the second largest c 29.6% of stores, however rivers, sweet lakes and shallow underground waters constitute the 0.4% of the volume of all fresh waters scarcely.
  • 3. The majority of countries in the world is suffering to the shortage of water, scarcely a dozen or so has so- called surpluses. It is e.g. Norway, which on account of relatively the little population and the cool temperate climate have water in abundance. The bad situation is ruling in Africa and some countries of Asia. Poland against this background isn't coming out well - is one from poorest in Europe of countries constantly grows in water, but for her consuming. On average, in Europe to one man he is falling annually to 5100 ³ m of life- giving liquid, however in Poland only 1700 ³ m.
  • 4. Aquatic resources in Poland falling to one resident are smaller than in neighbouring countries and much lower than the European average. It appears from data of the National management Board of the water management that to one inhabitant of Poland he is falling on average c 1580 m3 of water to the year, but average stores to one resident of Europe it 4560 m3 / year.
  • 5. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) above a billion people in the world he isn't having access generally speaking to the clean drinking water, in Europe they over 100 m are feeling. Also a deteriorating water quality caused by the human activity is a relevant problem. Development of urbanization, industry, farming, population increase of the Earth results in the bigger use of aquatic resources and the height of polluting them. Organisation for Economic Co- operation and Development (OECD) is warning that the demand for the drinking water will rise by the 55% to 2050. Additionally a climate change causing extreme weather conditions is a factor adversely affecting the state of the hydrosphere (intense falls, floods, droughts)
  • 6. Supplies of the fresh water aren't inexhaustible. It is regarding underground waters above all - main of their magazine on the Earth. These waters in the large degree are being consumed than can be renewed in natural hydrological circulation. Additionally a step of pollutants of these waters is growing. With primary sourcefor replenishing reserves of water sa precipitations, which permeating base deep into they are powering underground waters or are flowing down surface waters to the sea. If falls are very intense mainly a surface outflow of waters causes it, and in little only a step permeation to base and powering
  • 7. In the world over one billion two hundred million people have a hampered access to water, and 200 million are suffering from desire. The World Health Organization is estimating, that every day about 6000 children because of illnesses connected with the scarcity of the drinking water die what he/she is marking, that every 15 seconds one child is dying.
  • 8. What to do in order to save water? To have a shower, instead of the bath. The bath in the bathtub costs c 200 litres of water. At brushing teeth, turn water, flowing from the tap off, for the lavage of teeth use water from the small mug. Specialists enumerated, that lavage of teeth under the running water these are 9 litres of water for the minute. Check whether they don't have a leakage: water meters and the installation supplying water to tap waters or toilets; change gaskets worn out in fittings, check whether the toilet cistern isn't leaking in the
