This document summarizes a journal article that examines the relationships between system characteristics, user satisfaction, and continued e-learning usage using a structural equation model. The study hypothesized that system quality, information quality, and service quality would positively influence user satisfaction, and that user satisfaction would positively influence continued usage. Data was collected through surveys from 250 students at a public university in Malaysia. The results supported all the hypotheses, finding that information quality had the strongest effect on user satisfaction, and user satisfaction had the strongest effect on continued usage. The structural equation model provided a good fit for the data and explained 45% of the variance in user satisfaction and 44% of the variance in continued usage.
