The results revealed that “social influence, perceived enjoyment, self-efficacy, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use” are the strongest and most important predictors in the intention of and students towards E-learning systems. This study aims to investigate the meaningful pattern that can be used to improve digital culture in higher education based on parameters of the technology acceptance model (TAM). The methodology used is the data mining technique with K-means algorithm and text analytics. The experiment using questionnaire data with 2887 respondents in Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The data analysis and clustering result show that the perceived usefulness and behavioral intention to use information systems are above the normal value, while the perceived ease of use and actual system use is quite low. Strengthened with text analytics, this research found that the EDA and K-means result in harmony with the hope or desire of academic society the information system implementation. This research also found how important the socialization and guidance of information systems, especially the new one information system, in order to improve digital culture in higher education.

This paper gives the report of the experimental set-up to evaluate the effectiveness of Hybrid blended learning system (HBLS) in teaching mathematics among engineering students in Nigeria. A total of 1197 students was sampled. We first conducted and investigative research with questionnaire to assess the student’s readiness to use of social medias networks. We discovered that 93% (1113) of the sampled population has internet enable mobile phone and they make use of facebook or WhatsApp account at least 5hrs in a week. We use both face-to-face method in the physical classroom while virtual classroom was created in facebook and WhatsApp where course content is delivered before physical class, also for after physical classroom interactions among the students and lecturers. Another questionnaire was given to the sample population to assess their learning experiences after
which the exams was given to evaluate the students’ performance. Exam result was compared with previous result
where teaching was done through face to face method. It was discovered that about 89% (1065) of sample population had 50 and above in the collated result which is sharply defer when compared with the previous semester where only face-to-face method was adopted.

ABSTARCT : Convenience is one aspect that should be considered in an online learning environment. Without convenience it is very impossible to implement successfully online learning particularly in higher learning institution. The purpose of this study was to explore the online learning conveniences from students’ perception. A cohort of 61 science physics students from School of Science and Technology (SST) and 41 pre-service science teachers from the School of Education and Social Development (SESD) of Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia comprised the sample. The course involved is Modern Physics which is compulsory. Both groups were supported via an online learning environment, which acted as the main medium for learning. Participants’ perception on conveniences was recorded through an open-ended questionnaire and focus group interview. The output of these qualitative data can be categorised into several themes, as in general they felt that learning through online is really convenient and ease; and they were also using online to search for information. Somehow there were also negative feedback where they felt not satisfied with the Internet coverage. In additional the SESD’s student stressed that their communication skills were enhanced.

electronic module. This research made use of a checklist-style questionnaire
with a range of assessments of 1 to 5. The questionnaire was distributed to
students from four junior high schools. This sampling technique was based
on the sampling quota established by the researcher. The data analysis
technique involved converting the category value into an assessment score
and examining the result. According to the findings, 61.5% of students had
difficulties in interpreting the material of exposition text, and the rest of
80.1% desired that the exposition text writing content be presented using
entertaining, interactive, and innovative learning methods. This showed the
need for the preparation of electronic modules for writing flip book-based
exposition texts.

Online Learning Conveniences From Students’ Perception: A Case Study in Unive...inventionjournals
ABSTARCT : Convenience is one aspect that should be considered in an online learning environment. Without convenience it is very impossible to implement successfully online learning particularly in higher learning institution. The purpose of this study was to explore the online learning conveniences from students’ perception. A cohort of 61 science physics students from School of Science and Technology (SST) and 41 pre-service science teachers from the School of Education and Social Development (SESD) of Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia comprised the sample. The course involved is Modern Physics which is compulsory. Both groups were supported via an online learning environment, which acted as the main medium for learning. Participants’ perception on conveniences was recorded through an open-ended questionnaire and focus group interview. The output of these qualitative data can be categorised into several themes, as in general they felt that learning through online is really convenient and ease; and they were also using online to search for information. Somehow there were also negative feedback where they felt not satisfied with the Internet coverage. In additional the SESD’s student stressed that their communication skills were enhanced.

papers. A survey was used for the investigation. The data for this inquiry
was gathered through a questionnaire. In this study, a Likert scale was
utilized to examine students' attitudes, opinions, and perceptions of the built
electronic module. This research made use of a checklist-style questionnaire
with a range of assessments of 1 to 5. The questionnaire was distributed to
students from four junior high schools. This sampling technique was based
on the sampling quota established by the researcher. The data analysis
technique involved converting the category value into an assessment score
and examining the result. According to the findings, 61.5% of students had
difficulties in interpreting the material of exposition text, and the rest of
80.1% desired that the exposition text writing content be presented using
entertaining, interactive, and innovative learning methods. This showed the
need for the preparation of electronic modules for writing flip book-based
exposition texts.

Purpose of this research is to determine the students' point of view about web based intelligent tutoring system's (WBITS) availability, effects on the success and contribution to learning about work, energy and conservation of energy topics. The system will be evaluated on student's angle of view. Intelligence tutoring system that used on the research is used only online by 21 Elementary School Math Teacher candidate for 4 weeks on Physics I course. Public opinion poll that developed by the researchers have used as a data gathering tool. Data gathered in this research has analyzed by descriptive statistical method. Participant students have underlined that web based intelligent tutoring systems are effective on physics courses. Mathematics teacher candidates have expressed their opinion that it is helpful to use the WBITS because it is not depending on time and place, it has capability to serve lots of events and problem solving possibility and it is helping to increase the education performance.
Design and Implementation Multimedia Learning Success for Vocational Schools IJECEIAES
This research aims to design a web-based multimedia applications, interactive learning, in order to improve the learning outcomes of students, especially students of Vocational High School. Multimedia Learning has been designed with some additional content in the form of applications: decision support system for multimedia usage based on Model of Multimedia Learning Success. The population obtained from respondents vocational school in Central Java, which is already implementing multimedia learning. The method used is qualitative analysis in the form of: the development of multimedia learning integrated with decision support systems. Design and implementation of multimedia learning success system that is abbreviated "Sikemuning". Sikemuning can be used to measure or provide guidance for teachers in the use of multimedia. Interviews with several respondents teachers from vocational schools in Central Java showed that: the system success multimedia learning developed in this study can be used as feedback to assess the success and effectiveness of the implementation of learning activities, multimedia learning can improve the performance and intelligence of vocational school students.

A systematic literature study including articles from 2016 to 2022 was done to evaluate the various approaches, technologies, and implementation models involved in measuring student engagement during learning. The review’s objective was to compile and analyze all studies that investigated how instructors can gauge students’ mental states while teaching and assess the most effective teaching methods. Additionally, it aims to extract and assess expanded methodologies from chosen research publications to offer suggestions and answers to researchers and practitioners. Planning, carrying out the analysis, and publishing the results have all received significant attention in the research approach. The study’s findings indicate that more needs to be done to evaluate student participation objectively and follow their development for improved academic performance. Physiological approaches should be given more support among the alternatives. While deep learning implementation models and contactless technology should interest more researchers. And, the recommender system should be integrated into e-learning system. Other approaches, technologies, and methodology articles, on the other hand, lacked authenticity in conveying student feeling.
Factors affecting students’ continuance intention to use teaching performance...IJECEIAES
This study aims to determine university students’ continuance intention in using an android-based teaching performance assessment (TPA) application. For the data gathering instrument, we employed an online structured questionnaire. Two hundred and forty students from four faculties were selected and assigned a five-scale survey. All completed questionnaires were analyzed using analysis of moment structure (AMOS). The findings show that the factors of productivity, performance, relevancy, quality and mobility of the android-based TPA have significantly influenced students’ continuance intention to use the application. The results highlighted that when an android-based system was developed based on the criteria, the long-term use of the android-based TPA application can be consistently maintained to improve universities’ teaching quality assessment. However, our study needs to improve in that the university students may evaluate teaching staffs who are not teaching a subject in their class because all teaching staff has appeared in the application database. In addition, further research needs to limit each lecture based on a specific course to be assessed by a particular student’s class.
This study assessed the impediments to e-learning utilization by higher
institution students in Katsina State, Nigeria. Survey type of descriptive
research design was used in the study. There were 381 students randomly
selected in four higher institutions. A questionnaire with test-retest reliability
coefficient of 0.88 was used to gather data from the respondents. The
researchers used Frequencies, percentages, means and t-test to analyze the
data collected for the study. Findings revealed that all the fifteen
impediments investigated in this study affect the e-learning utilization by
higher institution students in Katsina State, Nigeria in varying degrees. The
foremost factor is money to purchase e-learning resources followed by
limited electricity supply. Moreover, significant difference was not found in
the impediments to e-learning utilization by higher institution students on the
basis of gender (t=-.796, Df=397, P>0.05) but significant difference was
found in the factors affecting the use of e-learning by students’ of
Universities and Colleges of Education (t=-2.969, P<0.05). It was
recommended that all the identified impediments affecting the e-learning
utilization by higher institution students in Katsina State, Nigeria should be
addressed by the government.

This study aims to determine the views of students majoring in mathematics education and natural science faculty of teacher training and education science at Universitas Jambi to use electronic’s module in physics practicum which is based on science process skills. The study involved 117 students majoring in mathematics education and science which consists of 59 students of physical education and 58 students of mathematics education. This research is descriptive quantitative research in order to obtain information mean (M), median (Me), mode (Mo), percentage, the range of the maximum value and the minimum value. Data was collected by using questionnaires and interviews. Based on the research results from students’ perceptions of physical education in good category at 64.4% while the student's perception of mathematics education in good category amounting to 55.2%.

This study investigated that the quantity of computer and ICT use in teacher education institutions is less and it is mainly focused on the learning of ICT skills which takes optimum time computers are used. The framework is then improved towards a new framework that can be effectively used to evaluate information and communication technology use in pre-service teacher education. In this study the independent variables are derived from computer use within the institution, some other extraneous factor may have impact on the results. Those factors may be computer use at home, friends home and cyber or internet centers by the respondents. The study concludes that the reality rhetoric gap of the impact of ICTs in teacher education institutions be evaluated from periodically to ensure that the quality with program objectives are met. The result shows that there is an urgent need to conduct intensive training to all the teacher educators in the colleges of education. The curriculum developers should develop global content for serving the local needs and make it to available to all the colleges of education online as well as offline content or blended learning modules. Several factors have been cited as responsible for low quantity of computer use in colleges of education. Some of these factors are; attitude towards new technologies, poor management, lack of local content serving local needs, shortage of equipments.

The objective of this study was to analyze the intention of a University's business department students to continue their studies on e-learning platforms during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. To this end, a questionnaire was developed to collect primary data from students in business fields. The study took into account more than 285 respondents from two different universities and relied on the expectation confirmation model (ECM) theory and the structural equation model. The partial least squares (SEM-PLS) method was used to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that task skills (TS) and task challenges (TC) were significant for the enjoyment (EN) of the students which in turn had a positive effect on the satisfaction levels. Confirmation (CON) had an impact on the post adoption perceived usefulness (PAPU), which was deemed positive for student satisfaction (SAT). The SAT and psychological safety (PS) of online learning platforms were found to positively influence the continuance intention (CI) on e-learning platforms. Finally, both SAT and PS of online learning platforms were observed to positively influence CI on e-learning platforms. Further research in this area could be useful in making decisions about promoting educational programs based on e-learning. The researchers recommend that academicians and policymakers must ensure appropriate arrangements for teaching on e-learning platforms.

The rapid developments of internet and communication technologies have materially altered many characteristics and concepts of the learning environment. E-learning has started to make way into developing countries and is believed to have huge potential for governments struggling to meet a growing demand for education while facing shortage of expert teachers, shortage of update textbooks and limited teaching materials. The objective of this study is to determine the major challenges of implementing e-learning systems in far western region of Nepal. The results of this study will serve as a basic for improving higher education in developing countries. There are many commercial or free e-learning systems available on the market. Most of these e-learning systems provide lot of functionality and modules. Some courses are completely based on e-learning resources instead of traditional learning model. E-learning system also offers graphs and charts of student’s results. This system is based on linear workflow. That means students can see new learning resources and tests only after previous was done. Students can also create their own learning plan by defining dates. System is able to export this plan into general calendar format or remind students via e-mail.

The shift of learning activities from face-to-face classroom interaction to online learning beyond the classroom due to the global pandemic has caused technological anxiety in teaching and learning. This study analyzed strategies to overcome learning challenges in the COVID-19 pandemic with user-friendly platforms. This study was in the State Institute of Islamic Studies (IAIN) Surakarta, Indonesia, involving 469 lecturers who taught 983 classes as the respondents. The required data were collected using a webbased questionnaire using Google Forms. The data were analyzed descriptively in percentages and elaborated using focus group discussion. The data analysis showed that most teachers used WhatsApp group to overcome learning obstacles during the COVID-19 pandemic. Among the considerations are the lack of information technology infrastructure, the lack of e-learning platforms, the lack of time to adapt, and the difficulty of internet access in some regions. This study contributes to the strategy performed by the lecturers to deal with these challenges is selecting a userfriendly and affordable platform for learning.
This study aims to reveal the profile of open-start problem-solving with ethnomathematics regarding student learning styles. This research is a qualitative research study on 3 out of 31 students of Junior High School of 3 Magetan taken by purposive sampling. The three students carried out four stages: understanding the problem, planning problem-solving strategies, implementing problem-solving strategies, and reviewing again. The results of the research show that students with a visual learning style solve problems by understanding problems through writing known and being asked and drawing illustrations, planning problem-solving strategies by making examples, carrying out solving strategies by working on the calculation process; students with an auditory learning style solve problems by understanding problems through writing known and being asked, planning strategies by making problems and formulating formulas used, implementing solutions by doing calculations and reviewing; students with a kinesthetic learning style solve problems by understanding issues through writing known and being asked, making examples and writing the formulas used, carrying out solving strategies by applying the calculation process and reviewing the results obtained. However, of the three styles, the results of the accepted work were not correct because they did not write down the conclusions and were not thorough enough.
The volunteer function inventory (VFI) is an assessment tool to measure individual volunteer motivation. VFI measures individual motivation to volunteer by examining the functional motives of each volunteer. This research aimed to adapt the VFI to the Indonesian language. VFI consists of 30 items divided into five dimensions. This study utilized a non-experimental quantitative research method. Samples were acquired by accidental random sampling with N = 176. In this study, reliability testing was carried out with items and dimensions of Cronbach's α. Validity tests were examined using construct validity and item analysis. The results of the Indonesian version of VFI showed high reliability and validity. Besides, the item analysis also shows that the quality of each item is excellent. The Indonesian version of VFI will be suitable for various education fields in Indonesia to measure the students' voluntary willingness in community development activities, for example, in measuring the impact of volunteerism in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) social activities and other activities within the communities.
Digital history-based project-based learning (PjBL) in history learning is a learning medium that can provide a special attraction for students who can improve historical concept skills and historical awareness. However, there are still many teachers who have not used it, so it is very important to study it. This research aims to analyze the influence of the digital history based PJBL model in improving historical concept skills and historical awareness. The method used is quasi-experimental with two classes, experimental and control. The population used class XI high school students in Lampung, Indonesia and the sample size was 213. Cluster random sampling was used to determine sampling, while data collection was in the form of test instruments. The test instrument questions were analyzed using the gain score and Kruskal-Walli’s test to determine the increase in historical concept skills and historical awareness with the help of statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) 26. The research results confirmed that digital history based PjBL was effective in increasing historical concept skills and historical awareness with a high score, making it the best choice to overcome obstacles in history learning.
This study aims to determine how using an active learning model based on the three higher education principles can improve students' active learning. Qualitative research methods were applied in this study, with data collection through interviews, literature study, and observation. The results showed that active learning based on the three higher education principles was included in the "good" or "acceptable" category. The application of this model can make this campus a place with a positive academic atmosphere that enhances and supports collaboration, discussion, and positive and critical thinking. The novelty of this research lies in the use of active learning with mini-research projects, which are developed based on university principles and embody it. The hope is that this can help solve problems in the student learning process at the State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The expected implication is that the university's policy supports applying the model to resolve learning problems and build real scientists for students.
Integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in teacher education is a means to support the teaching and learning process. Good teaching by utilizing technology certainly requires changes, especially in the realm of pedagogy, but teachers apparently do not have enough ability to optimize ICT in the learning process. In fact, ICT has the potential to provide various benefits for teachers and students, including joint learning areas, cooperative and collaborative learning opportunities. Therefore, this research aims to identify the use of mobile learning application (MLA) and its impact as a form of ICT integration in learning. The method used is literature study, by taking data from various relevant scientific articles and books. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis from the results of the synthesis of several literature reviews obtained. The research results show that a number of 10 main articles and 15 relevant supporting articles as well as several book sources show that mobile-based learning with smartphone devices is becoming a trend at various levels of education, both academic and vocational.
Incorporating ethnoscience into lessons through the ethnoscience-students’ worksheet (ESW) is one method to improve student interest in science learning while introducing them to the local culture. However, no research was reported the effects of ESW on students' responses and the factors that influence ESW implementation in science learning. In order to better understand how students learn through ESW, this study investigated the relationship between ethnoscience context, science learning, and the implementation of students’ worksheets. Seventy-two students participated in the survey after they studied ethnoscience learning through ESW. Students’ responses are more influenced by science learning. In addition, the ethnoscience-integrated students’ worksheets (SW) variable indirectly affects students’ responses. Additionally, ESW affects students' responses more significantly than science learning and ethnoscience. This research provides insightful implications for educators on planning, designing, and practicing ESW to enhance students’ problem-solving motivation and academic achievement. Furthermore, to contribute significantly to future researchers, further research employed the structural equation model through covariance analysis, also known as confirmatory factor analysis (CFA).
This research aimed to assess the readiness of Indonesian pre-service science teachers by examining their perceptions of impending challenges, desired competencies, and anticipated instructional methodologies in preparing for the challenges of Society 5.0. Using a quantitative survey research methodology, 884 pre-service science teachers from 16 universities were surveyed. The research instrument's validity and reliability were assessed utilizing the Rasch model. Inferential statistics were employed to assess the readiness of pre-service science teachers for future challenges, taking into account their backgrounds. The test outcomes showed the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient reached 0.92, is deemed "excellent", affirming the instrument's high reliability. The findings of the study revealed that the majority of teachers share a consistent perception of future challenges and recognize the importance of mastering 21st-century skills, particularly critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaboration. However, respondents believe that the current learning process does not adequately train these skills. They expressed a desire for an alternative learning method that can enhance their skills while accommodating their diverse backgrounds, including place of residence, economic background, and technological proficiency. Further research is needed to identify alternative teaching methods that can effectively foster these abilities in diverse backgrounds.
The issue of psychological well-being in education has emerged as an increasingly critical topic in recent years. This is due to the significance of psychological well-being in enhancing the performance of e ducational institutions, encompassing students, teachers, and the process of formulating school policies. This study sought to discover recent research on psychological well-being from an academic perspective. A total of 27 research articles were successfully gathered and reviewed based on the established criteria. This article review was conducted utilizing two databases (SCOPUS and WoS) and the following keywords: "psychological well-being" combined with "AND" and other search terms such as "school", "teacher", and "student". This systematic review offers a synthesis of results that can serve as the initial step in developing constructs of psychological well-being in educational institutions, thus implying the importance of psychological well-being for teachers and students. The results of the analysis from this systematic literature review have been discussed and concluded in this study.
This study aims to investigate Indonesian senior high school teachers’ perceptions of using the first language (L1) when teaching English because Indonesian teachers tend to have negative perceptions toward the application of the L1, while the L1 is needed in a situation where Indonesian students have limited skills in English. The semi-structured interview was applied to collect data, while thematic analysis was used to analyse it. The result showed that the teachers have three different positions in perceiving the use of the L1: the virtual position, maximal, and optimal positions. Although they have different perceptions toward the application of the L1, a major insight can be concluded about the limited use of the L1 for specific reasons, such as considering teachers’ and students’ English abilities, learners’ needs, and the type and the difficulty of the given task or assignment. The L1 can be functioned as scaffolding in three aspects: when teaching grammar, vocabulary, and when giving instructions. Teachers may consider this study’s results as the information to use the L1 in classrooms. This may also be beneficial for Indonesian educational stakeholders and the government to specifically define what type of scaffolding that teachers can use the L1 to teach English.
The Smile project is an engineering service-learning initiative carried out through collaboration between Chouaib Doukkali University in Morocco and Pusan National University in South Korea. Since 2016, this project has been conducted annually for engineering students from both universities. Participants are selected through an oral interview, ensuring representation from different majors, years, and genders. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the project transitioned to an online mode starting from 2020. The objective of this article is to investigate the impact of the service-learning approach on learning and its potential for enhancing engineering education. This study aims to compare the face-to-face and online implementations of the Smileproject as examples of this educational approach. The analysis demonstrates a strong positive effect of engineering service-learning as a learning approach, leading to the improvement of engineering students' skills and competencies. Notably, there is minimal difference between the two implementation modes of this learning approach.
Assessment is an important component of learning which aims to determine student achievement in learning. However, the pandemic has changed how assessment is carried out, prompting teachers to look for new strategies in carrying out mathematics learning assessments under any conditions, whether in normal conditions or during a pandemic. This study described the strategies used by high school mathematics teachers in assessing mathematics learning during the pandemic towards the post-pandemic period. This type of research is descriptive exploratory research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were three mathematics teachers, three principals, and three vice principals from a public senior high school in Yogyakarta City, Indonesia. Qualitative data were collected by means of questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively according to Bogdan and Biklen. The results of the study reveal that the mathematics teacher’s strategy for carrying out assessments during a pandemic includes: i) determining the appropriate online assessment platform that suits the needs; ii) assessment based on student participation; iii) using various of online assessment methods; iv) prioritizing academic integrity and honesty in the assessment implementation; and v) carry out the management and reporting of data on the results of the assessment in accordance with established procedures.
This study examined the role of technology integration and teachers' professional competence in developing 21st-century learning. Present studies show a significant gap between technology integration and teachers’ competency in developing 21st-century learning. This study highlights the pivotal roles of technology integration and teacher competence in modern education. In an era where technology has transformed teaching and learning, understanding the synergy between these two factors is crucial for educational advancements. The study employs a descriptive quantitative approach. It seeks to understand the current state of technology integration and teacher competence by collecting data from in-service teachers within the English teacher's forum. The data collection methods encompass questionnaires and interviews to gain comprehensive insights into the subject matter. The research design of this study primarily relies on a descriptive approach, which involves the systematic collection and analysis of data to describe and understand the existing situation. The data-gathering process, through questionnaires and interviews, ensures a comprehensive exploration of the research questions. The results show that technology integration and teacher competency significantly influence the development of 21st-century learning.
Aware of the various issues involved in assessing learning, but also of the difficulties encountered in classroom practice of this pedagogical act, we set out in this article to explore and analyze the assessment practices of secondary school mathematics teachers and the conceptions they underlie. The study was conducted from a systemic perspective. We therefore targeted three aspects in our study: the conceptual, the institutional, and the docimological. Analysis of the attitudes declared by a random sample of mathematics teachers enabled us to confirm that pedagogical, and in particular cognitive, issues do not represent a priority for them in assessment practices. They focus more on the organizational aspect of examinations, with a remarkable lack of concern for docimological considerations to give credibility to the assessments carried out.
This study aimed to investigate decreasing student academic stress in distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, transition period, and new normal era by giving a self-help module to students. This research employed an experimental approach with a group pre-test post-test design with quantitative analytics. The perceived academic stress scale (PASS) and module evaluation scale were utilized to assess students' academic stress levels and their understanding of the module. The subjects consisted of one male student and thirty-seven female students, as the school was dominated by female students. This study indicated that students' academic stress levels during the pandemic and the new normal were in the medium range (18.82 - 19.97). The results showed that there was no significant difference in academic stress between the pandemic and the transition period (t = 1.322, p > 0.05) and the data between the pandemic and the new normal (t = -1.426, p > 0.05), while between the transition period and the new normal, it showed a significant difference (t = -4.189, p < 0.05). The study recommends that schools develop future guidance and counseling programs to help students cope with stress and build resilience. This study's findings can inform policy decisions and academic interventions to support students' mental health and academic success during challenging times.
The aim of this research is to investigate the influence of flipbook learning media, learning interest, and learning motivation on junior high school students' learning outcomes. The method used is the regression method with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at Junior High School1 Yogyakarta with a sample of 64 class VIII social studies students. Data collection consists of interviews, observations, and documentation. Prerequisite test analysis consists of tests for normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Hypothesis testing using simple regression, and multiple regression. The research results show that there is an influence: i) flipbook learning media on learning outcomes with a tcount of 73.33, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005, ii) interest in learning on learning outcomes with a tcount of 33.678, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005, iii) learning motivation on learning outcomes with a tcount of 30.678, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005, and iv) flipbook learning media, learning interest, and learning motivation together on learning outcomes with Fcount 47.879 > Ftable 2.77 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.005. The conclusion is that the use of flipbook learning media, increasing interest in learning, and strengthening learning motivation can support each other to achieve optimal learning outcomes for students.
Hybrid project-based learning effectively develops academic writing skills in preparation for a gradual return to face-to-face instruction after a two-year pandemic triggered by Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Since this hybrid project-based learning initiative is a pioneering effort, it is essential to reflect on the program's successes and identify areas for improvement. This case study aims to explore the lecturers' and students' reflections on using hybrid project-based learning in academic writing courses. In-depth interviews and end-of-semester reflection were utilized to obtain data. Thematic analysis was conducted using the qualitative data analysis (QDA)miner lite software for data reduction. the findings revealed three prominent themes that emerged in this lecturers’ reflections: i) integrating varied learning modalities; ii) fostering critical thinking and involvement; and iii) improving competencies, as they were also crucial to boosting professional development. Meanwhile, students portray hybrid project-based learning as challenging and rewarding and fosters a sense of value and acceptability among students. This research has transformative implications for curriculum development and instructional practices in higher education, especially academic writing.
Intrapreneurship skill has considered as the alternative learning outcomes of entrepreneurship education. However, entrepreneurship teachers need a complex learning program to develop intrapreneurship among business students. At the same time, The Ministry of Education and Culture of The Republic of Indonesia recommends university teachers implement case methods to deliver complex learning environments and build critical skills among students. Therefore, this study aims to i) examine the effect of micro small medium enterprise (MSME) cases on the intrapreneurship of business students, ii) investigate the influence of MSME cases on flow experience in entrepreneurship education and iii) investigate the effect of flow experience during entrepreneurship education on intrapreneurship skill. We used field experiments on entrepreneurship and digital business student in business development courses. The result indicates that the case method effectively developed student intrapreneurship skill and flow experience during the course positively impacting student intrapreneurship skill.
Mathematical beliefs and metacognitive knowledge play significant roles in solving mathematical problems; thus, this study aims to investigate the influence of middle school students' beliefs on their metacognitive knowledge when solving geometry problems. This study utilizes both quantitative and qualitative research methods. A linear regression test was used to determine the effect of middle school students' beliefs on their metacognitive knowledge. The results of the quantitative research analysis were followed up with a qualitative research approach to describe the metacognitive knowledge of students who have high and low confidence in solving geometric problems. This research involved 352 middle school students in the Tarakan area. Based on the results of linear regression, it is known that the beliefs of middle school students have a positive effect on their metacognitive knowledge when solving geometric problems. In addition, it was found that students with different beliefs could solve a given geometry problem, but the approach to solving it varied among subjects. Middle school students have diverse beliefs, but these variations do not affect their capacity to apply their metacognitive knowledge at every stage
of solving mathematical problems.
A comprehensive examination of the impact of instructional leadership provided by school principals on teacher commitment was carried out across different nations, including Indonesia. This research employed a literature review approach, scrutinizing journal articles that delved into the connection between the instructional leadership of school principals and teacher commitment. After applying predefined criteria to 120 chosen articles in this domain, only 15 articles met the specified criteria and were subsequently incorporated into the review. The findings of the literature review revealed that the instructional leadership of school principals and the resulting organizational commitment have a positive, and mostly said statistically significant, effect on teacher organizational commitment in various countries.
Because women in Indonesian society gain more experience in the family, one of which is education instilled through family gender culture, women's
career aspirations are believed to have their own characteristics. In today's
society, the current condition of female students' career expectations is apprehensive. Most of the female students do not have any professional
characteristics, such as career aspirations. This research involving 109 female students from various cultural contexts will divide their findings into
two categories: patriarchal family education and matriarchal family education. The main objective of this research is to investigate the career expectations of female students in relation to patriarchal and matriarchal
family education, and to compare the two household categories. As a result,
the majority of female students from societies that place a patriarchal emphasis on gender have expectations of career self-efficacy, whereas those
from societies that place a matriarchal emphasis on gender have expectations
of outcomes. Parametric analysis of variance (ANOVA) test was used for
comparative analysis. The test results show F = 75.011 for career expectations on self-efficacy and F = 145.467 for outcome expectation (OE).
0.000 is a significant value for both variations.

This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of E-Module
learning media in Electromechanical Work Basic Subjects. This research is a
development research using ADDIE model. The product developed is e-
module learning media on subjects in Electromechanical Basic Work. Data
collection is done by means of observation, interviews and questionnaires.
The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis.
This research was conducted on 128 students of 10th
grade Department
Electrical Installation Engineering in Vocational High School in Serang,
Banten. The results of the research are Media validation is very feasible with
a percentage of 95.3%. Material validation is very feasible with a percentage
of 97.9%. The results of the questionnaire evaluation data of small group
trials get an average percentage value of 91.7% and in the very feasible
category. The results of the assessment in the large group trial data
questionnaire received very decent results with a percentage of 92.4%.
The results of the exercises carried out an average value of 92.1 before using
learning media the average value obtained by students 80.5. The results of
the evaluation scores get an average value of 88.5. The e-module learning
media in Electromechanical Basic Work subjects can facilitate students in
the learning process and facilitate the teacher in teaching.

1. INTRODUCTION
Education is a planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and process so that students actively
develop their potential to have the character, personality, intelligence, and skills needed by themselves,
society, nation and country. This is stated in Law No. 20 of 2003 article 1 paragraph (1) on National
Education System. According to Dinsyah [1] education is a process to influence students to adjust themselves
as best they can to their environment, so that it will cause changes in themselves that are likely to function
strongly in social life.
The use of learning media and sources influences the learning process. According to Meyer,
Omdahl, and Makransky [2] by using virtual reality and video learning media showed positive results in
improving the quality of the learning process. A study by Schneider, Nebel, Beege, and Rey [3] by using
digital-based learning media. This is in line with a study by Qamar, Riyadi, and Wulandari who implemented
blended learning with WhatsApp application as a learning medium that can improve the quality of learning

for students [4]. The use of learning media in the form of learning modules can also increase student
motivation as described by Rufii and Rochmawati [5] in her research.
Learning media in this context is a technology and/or a set of tools that contain learning material;
Learning media is a means of communication in the form of text, visual images, audio, video, virtual reality,
interactive multimedia, both hardware and software technologies that support the learning process. This is in
line with a study by Choi and Baek [6] who used virtual worlds as learning media. Dewi, Wardani, Wijayati,
and Sumarni [7] used ICT media as learning media. In addition, social networking websites can also be used
as learning media in accordance with a study by Norhailawati [8].
The existence of learning media in the learning process helps students in understanding material
that is difficult to explain and understand [9]. This is in line with a study by Sari, Fadillah, Jonathan, and
Prabowo [10] who used Interactive Gamification learning media on Android which can increase interest and
enthusiasm for learning, and increase understanding of the material presented. This is in line with a study by
Saputra, Nasrun, and Wakhinuddin [11] that web-based learning media was effective in improving student
learning outcomes. The same results were also obtained from the results of research by Wijaya and Sefriani
[12, 13] that the Interactive Module was very effective to be used as a learning resource, including the use of
ICT-based assessment instruments [14].
Vocational High School (VHS) is a form of formal education unit that organizes vocational
education at secondary education level after Junior High School (SMP/MTs) [15]. Vocational high school
is a field of education to prepare students who are ready to work with the knowledge and expertise gained
at school. The purpose of the Vocational High School is to prepare students to be able to work in their
expertise in the developments and changes that occur in society, nation, and country.
Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang is one of the private vocational high schools in
the middle of Serang City, which should use modern learning media. However, in reality, the learning media
used are still conventional in Basic Electromechanical Work subject. Electromechanical Basic Work is one of
the subjects in the Electrical Installation Engineering Department at Vocational High School of Pasundan No.
2 Serang. Electromechanical Basic Work is one of the subjects that support the theory of basic electricity.
The results of observations showed the average score of 10th grade students on Electromechanical
Basic Work was 71.7. This score is far from the MPSs (Minimum Passing Standards) of 80.0 with cognitive,
affective and psychomotor assessment in accordance with what has been determined by the teacher and has
been agreed with all teachers and principals of Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang.
The results of observations at the Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang showed
that 77.2% of 28 students had difficulties in receiving material because the media used by the teacher were
less attractive and students wanted more interesting media (multimedia). In addition, observations on
the learning process at the Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang showed that teachers as
instructors still used conventional learning media on Basic Electromechanical Work subject for the 10th
grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang.
Students that learn by using conventional media in the form of printed modules and lecture stated that
the material presented is boring. If students are not equipped with interesting modules on the material
presented, the students will have difficulty in repeating the material in the learning process.
Based on the previous research, there are several problems in the Basic Electromechanical Work
subject for the 10th grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of
Pasundan No. 2 Serang, so researchers would develop adobe flash-based e-module learning media in Basic
Electromechanical Work Subject for 10th grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering at Vocational
High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang in order to facilitate students in the learning process, this is in line
with a study by Jonias [16] which stated that the e-module was feasible and effective for use as a learning
medium. In addition, e-module learning media had good responses from material experts, media experts, and
students. So it can be concluded that student learning outcomes with E-Module learning media are better than
student learning outcomes without E-Module learning media.
Another study by Paska, Wirawan, and Pradnyana [17] showed that 64% of students gave excellent
responses, 36% of students gave good responses and none of the students gave fair, poor or very poor
responses. The average overall assessment of the field test was 90.04%. After the field test, the response test
on the teacher to the development of e-modules in computer system subjects obtained an average of 46, if
converted into the response criteria table then it was included in the very positive category.
This is in line with a study by Priandana [18] showed that interactive learning media with
Macromedia Flash software on basic competencies for the application of various basic logic gates in
Vocational High School No. 2 Bojonegoro was feasible because it was in the good category of 79.75%
validated by two lecturers and two teachers who are media and content experts and material experts. So it can
be concluded that interactive media was feasible to be used as teaching material. In addition, students'
responses to interactive learning media with Macromedia Flash software on the basic competencies for

the application of various basic logic gates received an 83.8% rating. Based on the rating results, interactive
learning media had a good response by students. So it can be concluded that interactive multimedia learning
media with Macromedia Flash software on basic competencies for the application of various basic logic gates
was effective to be used as teaching materials.
This is also in line with the results of research conducted by Perdana, Sarwanto, Sukarmin, and
Sujadi [19] with the results of the feasibility test in the feasible category, based on the calculation results with
an average of 3.80 or greater than the minimum feasibility of 3.78. The results of the validation by the subject
matter experts on the feasibility of content and language were in the excellent category of 3.85. The results of
the validation by media experts about the feasibility of the component and graphic presentation showed an
excellent category with an average value of 3.84. The results of the validation by the physics teacher showed
an excellent category. The results of validation by the peer review showed an excellent category with an
average value of 3.72. The results of student questionnaire responses on four aspects produced an excellent
category with an average percentage of 3.85. So it can be concluded that the motivation of students to use
science process skills based on physics modules was better than conventional learning.
A study by Sutopo [20] stated that students easily understand the concept of selection with
visualization. Studying text material is more effective if it is equipped with graphics, animations, or videos
for students to learn. Multimedia, especially visualization, increases student motivation in learning
algorithms and coding. Adobe Flash is a time-based object-oriented authoring and programming tool that can
be used to develop scientific visualization.
A study by Perdana, Sarwanto, Sukarmin, and Sujadi [19] stated that the development process of
learning media was carried out in three stages, namely: needs analysis, product development including index
design, navigation and content, one-on-one trials, small groups trial and final product implementation; and
this multimedia product can be used as a medium for understanding technical measurement material.
There were differences in student learning outcomes. Learning technical measurement in interactive media
was more effective than conventional media. It can be seen from the difference between the control class
(conventional with an average value of 69.78 and the experimental class with an average value of 78.83.
From several studies, it can be seen that the use of multimedia-based learning media makes students
more enthusiastic in the learning process based on the percentage of feasibility and some assessments [21,
22]. The adobe flash-based e-module learning media developed by researchers has a difference from other
research that is the video on cable jointing practice learning as a tutorial, in addition, there are also several
options as a test of students' ability to some of the material they have learned. In addition, there is an
evaluation on this adobe flash-based e-module learning media that can measure students' abilities on cable
specifications and jointing on Basic Electromechanical Work subject.
2. RESEARCH METHOD
This study used a development research procedure with the ADDIE model [23]. ADDIE model
research procedures consist of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development & Implementation, and
Evaluation. The study was conducted on 128 10th
grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering at
Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang.
The analysis was the initial stage in the development process by performing needs analysis,
curriculum analysis, and material analysis. A needs analysis was performed by conducting observations,
interviews, and questionnaires to determine the use of instructional media. This is in line with a study by
Pradani and Aziza [24]. Curriculum analysis was performed to identify competencies that must be developed
by describing Core Competencies and Basic Competencies as Indicators. The material analysis was carried
out to analyze the cable specifications and jointing in accordance with the Core Competencies and Basic
Competencies in the 2013 curriculum [25].
At the site-map design stage, flowcharts and storyboards were developed which were adapted
from the results of the needs analysis. This is in accordance with the design stages carried out by Tegeh and
Kirna [26]. Site-map is used to illustrate the relationship between one page to another page to facilitate
the operation of learning media. A flowchart is a learning media flow based on the site map to facilitate
the arrangement of learning media flow. The storyboard design as a guide in the development of learning
media aims to design the learning media interface based on the storyboard and site map.
The development stage is the stage of applying the product framework at the design stage. Steps at
the development stage namely, the pre-production stage, the production stage, and the post-production stage
and quality inspection with expert validation carried out by media experts and material experts to determine
the level of eligibility to revise the quality of learning media before the trial stage. This is the same as
the development stage by Putra, Tastra, and Suwatra [27].

At the implementation stage, an Adobe Flash-based e-module was implemented as a learning
medium for Basic Electromechanical Work subject for the 10th-grade students of Electrical Installation
Engineering at Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang by using small group trials and large group
trials. Small group trials were carried out on nine 10th
grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering to
find out their responses on Adobe Flash-based e-module learning media on Basic Electromechanical W
ork subject while large group trials were carried out on 128 10th
grade students of Electrical Installation
Engineering to determine responses students on a large scale. This is in line with a study by Masykur,
Nofrizal, and Syazali [28] who used the same implementation stages namely testing in small groups and
large groups.
The evaluation stage was the final activity carried out after the adobe flash-based e-module learning
media had been tested. If deficiencies are found, a revision must be made. Product revision is based on
the results of input from material experts, media experts, and users. This is also in line with the study
conducted by Hamid, Permata, Aribowo, Darmawan, Nurtanto, and Laraswati [29].
Data collection techniques and instruments used observation, interviews, and questionnaires to
determine the feasibility of the media and determine the response of student assessment. This is in line with a
study by Hamid, Aribowo, and Desmira [30]. There are three types of questionnaires: material expert
questionnaire, media expert questionnaire, and student questionnaire. Table 1, Table 2, and Table 3 are
indicator items of questionnaire used as research instruments

Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis to assess the characteristics of data. Data
analyzed descriptively were observation, interview, and development data. This is in line with a study by
Prastyaningrum and Imansari [31]. This study used a Likert scale questionnaire with 5 scales namely very
feasible, feasible, fairly feasible, less feasible, and not feasible, can be seen in Table 4.

3. RESULTS AND ANALYSIS
The results of research on the development of e-module learning media were carried out based
on the development procedures on the ADDIE model or Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation,
and Evaluation.
There are three analyzes at the analysis stage, namely requirements analysis, curriculum analysis,
and material analysis. In the needs analysis phase, observations, interviews, and questionnaires were
conducted to determine the use of instructional media. From interviews conducted with teachers and students,

it can be seen that teachers still use conventional learning media in the Basic Electromechanical Work subject
for the 10th-grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of Pasundan
No. 2 Serang. Students that learn by using conventional media in the form of printed modules and lectures
stated that the material presented is boring. It also used a learning media questionnaire that was filled out
by students to find out the percentage of student needs for learning media. Based on the results of
the questionnaire distribution, 77.6% of 28 students stated that they had difficulty in accepting the material
because the media used by the teacher were less attractive and students wanted more interesting learning
media with pictures, videos, audio, and animation.
In the curriculum analysis stage, identification of basic competencies in the 2013 curriculum,
understanding of the breadth of the material, and the elaboration of basic competencies into several indicators
were carried out. Basic competencies and indicators can be seen in Table 6.

Material analysis was carried out to analyze the specification material and cable connection so
that the material in the Adobe Flash-Based E-Module Learning Media is in accordance with the Core
Competencies and Basic Competencies on cable specifications and jointing in the 2013 curriculum.
In the material on cable specifications and jointing, there are several sub material, including: (1) Definitions
and conditions for electrical conductors, types of electrical conductors and their functions, (2) types of
electricity conductors based on their construction, (3) types of electrical conductors used in electrical
installations, namely NYA cables, NYM cables, NYAF Cables, NYY Cables, NYFGbY Cables, ACSR
Cables, and AAAC Cables, (4) Nomenclature of Cable Codes, (5) Identification of cable colors, namely blue
cables, black cables, and green-yellow cables, (6 ) Requirements for cable jointing and (7) Types of cable
jointing, namely eyelet jointing, pigtail jointing, twisted cable jointing, Scarf cable jointing and straight
married cable jointing.
At the design stage, data collection was carried out from various information. Data collected
regarding cable specifications and jointing were images, videos, and Adobe Flash CS5 software that supports
the development of adobe flash-based e-module learning media. In addition, the design of the site map,
flowchart, and storyboard of learning media was carried out. Adobe Flash Based E-Module Learning Media
Site-map can be seen in Figure 1. Flowchart of Adobe Flash Based E-Module Learning Media in the Main
Menu section can be seen in Figure 2.

At the development stage, there are three stages, namely pre-production, production, and post-
production. In the pre-production stage, material for e-module learning media was prepared and the Adobe
Flash CS5 application was installed. At the production stage, the implementation of a product framework in
the form of an e-module learning media application using the Adobe Flash application was carried out. In the
post-production stage, a quality check was carried out with expert validation. Expert validation was carried
out by media experts and material experts to determine the level of media feasibility in order to revise the
quality of learning media. Expert validation was carried out by two media experts and two material experts.
The results of the validation of Adobe Flash-Based E-Module Learning Media had a percentage of
96.6% or in the excellent category. The validation of learning media was carried out by two experts including
a media expert with a percentage of 95.3% and a material expert with a percentage of 97.9%.
The results of the feasibility test of media experts and material experts in the Adobe Flash Based E-
Module Learning Media can be seen in Figure 3.

From the results of all assessments in the media validation questionnaire, the aspect of media display
had a 95% percentage, the design aspect had a 95% percentage, and from the aspects of applications used
had a 95% percentage. From these three aspects, the average percentage value of 95.3% was included in
the category of very feasible for the development of Adobe Flash-Based E-Module Learning Media in Basic
Electromechanical Work subject for the 10th
-grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering at
Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang.
Figure 4 is the result of the feasibility test percentage by media experts on Adobe Flash Based
E-Module Learning Media.

From the results of all assessments on the material validation questionnaire, the adobe flash-based
e-module learning media from the format aspect had a percentage of 97.5%, the content aspect had a
percentage of 98.3%, and the language aspect had a percentage of 98%. Of these three aspects, the average
percentage of 97.9% was included in the category of very feasible for the development of adobe flash based
e-module learning media on Basic Electromechanical Work subject for the 10th-grade students of Electrical
Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang.
The results of the feasibility test percentage of material experts in the Adobe Flash Based E-Module
Learning Media can be seen in Figure 5.

Material experts had the highest rating of 97.9% because the average validation gave a large
evaluation on several questionnaires and it was stated that the material contained in the adobe flash-based
e-module learning media according to the validator was appropriate for Basic Electromechanical Work
subject for the 10th -grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of
Pasundan No. 2 Serang.
Media experts had a percentage of 95.3% and were included in the very feasible category. Media
expert validators provided suggestions and input to improve the development of adobe flash-based e-module
learning media. The implementation stage was performed to determine the feasibility of Adobe Flash-based
E-Module learning media on Basic Electromechanical Work subject for the 10th-grade students of Electrical
Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang conducted with small and large
group trials.
This trial was conducted in 10th-grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering in semester 1
of the 2019/2020 school year. The trial process of Adobe Flash-based E-Module Learning Media was
conducted by researchers during the learning process and observations were made on how the students
responded during the learning process and proved by filling in the questionnaire by students. The results of

all assessments on a small group trial data questionnaire conducted on nine 10th-grade students of Electrical
Installation Engineering viewed from the aspect of interest in the media, aspects of the benefits of learning
media and aspects of application used had an average percentage of 91.7% and on a large group trial data
questionnaire conducted on 28 10th-grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering, viewed from
the aspect of interest in the media, aspects of the benefits of learning media and aspects of application used
had an average percentage of 92.4% and both including in very feasible category for the development of
adobe flash based e-module learning media on Basic Electromechanical Work subject for the 10th-grade
students of Electrical Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang.
The evaluation of large and small group trials on Adobe Flash-Based E-Module Learning Media can
be seen in Figure 6.

The results of a large group questionnaire totaling 128 students showed that in the aspect of interest
in the media had a percentage with a value of 93.1%. In the first statement "The text used makes it easy
for me to understand the material" had a percentage of 92.1%. Students stated that the text in the learning
media used makes it easy for students to understand the material because of the appropriate color, font, and
size of the text. In the second statement, "I am happy to study material with this teaching material because it
looks interesting" had a percentage of 93.5. Students enjoyed the learning activities by using adobe flash-
based e-module learning media because of the interesting appearance in the form of animation and images.
The third statement, "The choice of colors used in teaching materials makes teaching materials look more
attractive" had a percentage of 91.4%. The use of various attractive colors in the adobe flash-based e-module
learning media makes students more enthusiastic to learn with these learning media.
The fourth statement, "The figures displayed in the teaching material are very interesting" had a
percentage of 91.4%. The figures displayed on the adobe flash-based e-module learning media are the same
as the original practice which will make students interested in learning to use these learning media. The fifth
statement, "The design used makes teaching materials look more attractive" had a percentage of 91.4%.
The design of adobe flash based e-module learning media that displays images, text, animations, navigation
buttons, etc., makes learning media more interesting.
The sixth statement, "This teaching material is different from other teaching materials" has a
percentage of 95.5%. 10th-grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of
Pasundan No. 2 Serang who previously only used material from textbooks and learning on the blackboard
with the teacher, considered the adobe flash-based e-module learning media to be very interesting and
this learning media was different from the learning media commonly used. The seventh statement,
"The existence of practice questions on this teaching material makes me interested to try it on this interactive
media" had a percentage of 96.4%. The exercises on each sub material in the adobe flash-based e-module
learning media make it easy for students to test their abilities after learning from one material.
The results of a large group questionnaire totaling 28 students showed that the aspect of learning
media benefits had a percentage of 91.1%. The eighth statement, "Cable specifications and jointing presented
in this teaching material are very interesting" had a percentage of 89.2%. The material on the adobe flash-
based e-module learning media that displays text, images, colors, and animations makes the material
presented very interesting.
The ninth statement, "The contents of this learning media are very useful to my knowledge" had a
percentage of 90.7%. The material presented in the adobe flash-based e-module learning media has five
sub-materials so that a lot of material can be learned by students. The tenth statement, "This learning media
provides a lot of experience and knowledge for me" had a percentage of 92.8%. 10th-grade students of
Electrical Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang who previously only
used textbooks and whiteboard learning media were happy to use adobe flash-based e-module learning media
because they could use multimedia learning media.

The eleventh statement, "The existence of evaluation is very interesting because it makes me know
the results of my learning from the whole material" had a percentage of 93.6%. Evaluation of adobe flash
based e-module learning media makes students happy because they can directly test their abilities after
learning and can immediately find out the results of their grades. The twelfth statement, "Figures or
animations displayed, makes it easy for me to understand the material" had a percentage of 89.2%. Figures
and animation on adobe flash-based e-module learning media make learning media look more interesting so
that it makes it easier for students to understand the material. The results of a large group questionnaire from
128 students, the aspects of the application used had a percentage of 93%.
In the thirteenth statement, "Interactive multimedia learning media can be operated optimally" had a
percentage of 95%. The adobe flash-based e-module learning media have navigation buttons, images, and
videos that can be operated properly, making it easier for students in the learning process. In the fourteen
statement, "Learning media is very communicative" had a percentage of 90.7%.
The fifteenth statement, "The quality of the questions and discussion is good and easy to
understand" had a percentage of 91.4%. The questions and materials contained in the adobe flash-based e-
module learning media that use good language make it easier for students when examining the word for word
in the learning media. The sixteenth statement, "Navigation buttons are easy to operate" had a percentage of
95%. The navigation buttons on the adobe flash-based e-module learning media are easy to operate and with
interesting themes and colors that make students easy during the learning process. A percentage graph
obtained from the results of a large group trial questionnaire can be seen in Figure 7.

During the research process and the use of adobe flash-based e-module learning media, the students
were very enthusiastic during the learning process. Students were happy because they can use multimedia-
based learning media because it is more interactive and more real so students can see figures directly from
the material being studied. In addition, students can also perform cable jointing.
This is in line with a study [34] on mathematical learning media with the result that this animation-
based learning media is feasible to use and has a positive response.
This is in line with a study [35] which showed that e-learning content based on multimedia can
enhance student knowledge. It is also in line with a study [36] which showed that this multimedia-based
educational game was feasible to be used as a learning medium for 9th-grade students in preparing
for computer-based national exams.
In the Adobe Flash-Based E-Module Learning Media there are also exercises about sub-material
questions and there is also the evaluation to find out the overall understanding of the material in the Adobe
Flash-Based E-Module Learning Media. After using the adobe flash-based e-module learning media, students
performed exercises on each subject matter that they learned and worked on evaluations in the form of
ten multiple-choice questions. From the multiple-choice practice exercises conducted by all 10th-grade
students of Electrical Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang,
the average score was 92.1. Before using the learning media, the average score obtained by students with
the same material and questions was only 80.5. This was very different compared to the exercise scores after
using adobe flash-based e-module learning media.
In addition, an evaluation was conducted to test the ability of students from all material and an
average score of 88.5 was obtained. Before using the Adobe Flash-Based E-Module Learning Media students
only received an average score of 78.5 which was included in the category of not passing MPSs ( Minimum

Passing Standards). From the score, it can be seen that students master the material when using Adobe Flash-
Based E-Module Learning Media. The score before and after using the adobe flash-based e-module learning
media can be seen in Figure 8.

From the results of the percentage and score obtained by students, it can be seen if students enjoyed
using the adobe flash-based e-module learning media. Students were more enthusiastic when using the adobe
flash-based e-module learning media on Basic Electromechanical Work subject on the cable specification
and jointing. Students were happy because by using adobe flash-based e-module learning media, students can
find out the material being learned in the presence of figures. In the cable jointing learning material, there are
also job sheets and cable jointing tutorial videos that make it easy for students to perform cable jointing.
Students are happy with the exercise that directly displays the results of the exercise, students become aware
of the results after the learning process and can know what is wrong and right.
The evaluation stage was carried out after the Adobe Flash-based E-Module Learning Media was
tested. The following are the results of the assessment of media experts and material experts. From validation
by media experts, there are several suggestions: (1) Pay attention to fonts and font shapes so students can
read and be seen from a distance, (2) Pay attention to the background with other colors, (3) Pay attention to
the multimedia elements of text, animation, audio, videos, pictures and (4) Drag & drop exercises are
corrected if the answer is wrong.
Apart from the media expert, the material expert also gave the following suggestions: (1) The
material should be added about the types of cables, (2) The material for cable nomenclature should be added,
(3) The use of the name of the tool should be adjusted and (4) Watch the sentence used, make a sentence
more clearly.
4. CONCLUSION
The results of the analysis on the development of adobe flash-based e-module learning media
on Basic Electromechanical Work subject for the 10th-grade students of Electrical Installation Engineering
can be concluded that the adobe flash-based e-module learning media was feasible with the results of
the assessment on the media validation questionnaire which had average percentage value of 95.3% and was
included in the very feasible category. From the results of the assessment in the validation questionnaire,
the average value of the percentage was 97.9% and included in the very feasible category. From the results of
the assessment in the small group trial data, the average percentage score was 91.7% and included in the very
feasible category. From the results of the assessment in the large group trial data, the average percentage
score was 92.4% and included in the very feasible category. From the evaluation of media validation,
material validation, small-scale trials, and large-scale trials, it can be concluded that adobe flash-based
e-module learning media on Basic Electromechanical Work subject for the 10th-grade students of Electrical
Installation Engineering at Vocational High School of Pasundan No. 2 Serang was in the very feasible
category. After using Adobe Flash-Based E-Module Learning Media, students performed exercises about
each material they have learned and had an average score of 92.1 and performed an evaluation to test
the ability of students from all materials and had an average score of 88.5.

Mustofa Abi Hamid is an assistant professor in Technical And Vocational Education and
Training (TVET). Mustofa Abi Hamid received his master degree in Technical and
Vocational Education from Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) Indonesia and his bachelor
degree from Universitas Lampung (UNILA), Bandarlampung, Indonesia. In 2016 he joined
the Department of Electrical Engineering Vocational Education in Faculty of Teacher
Training and Education of Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Serang Indonesia as assistant
professor. He has written several papers in the areas of technical and vocational education and
training, evaluation of learning, learning media, ICT for learning. His research interests also
include technical and vocational education and training (TVET), Standardization in TVET,
Pedagogical Innovations in TVET, Skills and Personal Development, Innovations in
Engineering and Education, etc.
Lely Yuliawati is an electrical engineering education student, faculty of education and teacher
training at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Born in Serang, 14 October 1996 and is the
second child of three siblings. Completed his education at Elementary School No. 3 Baros
(2008), Junior High School of Al-Mubarok Serang (2011), Senior High School No. 2 Serang
City (2014), he is also a teacher at the Vocational High School of Pasundan 2 Serang City in
technical drawing lessons.
Didik Aribowo received his master degree in multimedia tellecommunication from Institut
Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya and his bachelor degree in electrical
engineering from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. He was a researcher and lecturer
with the Department of Electrical Engineering of Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa 2008 to
2013. In 2014 he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering Education in Faculty of
Education and Teacher Training of Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Serang, Indonesia
where he currently teaches power electronics, basic electronics, basic telecommunication,
