1.Introduction
  •Global climate change, the frequency and losses of
  disasters both show a rising trend, need long-term
  adaptations.

  •Disaster education and training started in 1960s, make
  great progress, become more and more important in
  disaster prevention and reduction.

  •the southeast coastal region of China is of the most
  developed area, suffered from typhoon, typhoon
  disaster-chains frequently. Need systematical and
  practical disaster training program

4.1 For Teacher
Aim :      Training for teachers aims to strengthen their ability of disaster science
               popularization and education.
         ” Class-School-Family-Society”

Focus:   The training contents may surround the knowledge and cases of
                typhoon ,flood, debris flow and landslide disaster prevention and
                mitigation, to develop the students' awareness of disaster reduction
                and their abilities of self-rescuing

4.2 For Manager
Aim :     strengthen comprehensive prevention and defence capacity to natural
               disasters.
Focus:   the organization of regional disaster emergency management and
               disaster risk management. Furthermore, the training for
               governmental staff need to improve their effectiveness of
               emergency plan implementation, to drive all the related civil
               servants to participate in disaster emergency and relief work

4.3 For Community
Correspondent collection. To allow them master the basic
 Aim : strengthen their basic skills for potential disaster risk eliminating and
            disaster information
                   knowledge and technology for disaster relief and disaster
                   information management.

  Focus:     Ability of disaster information management, assist of emergency reaction

4.4 For Volunteer
Aim :    strengthen the capacity of local voluntary works in order to build a
              professional volunteers team.

Focus:   The training contents include the psychological assistance and
               professional skills for self-helping during disasters.

Conclusion
A regional disaster training framework especially for
typhoon disaster chains was built.
  •Combining the popularity training for public with the
  professional training
  •the training process more well-organized, more pertinence
  and effectiveness.
ISO quality standards .

international disaster mitigation update the program

Emphasizes knowledge learning and psychological

  • 5. 2012 IDRC DAVOS 1.Introduction •Global climate change, the frequency and losses of disasters both show a rising trend, need long-term adaptations. •Disaster education and training started in 1960s, make great progress, become more and more important in disaster prevention and reduction. •the southeast coastal region of China is of the most developed area, suffered from typhoon, typhoon disaster-chains frequently. Need systematical and practical disaster training program 5

Focus: the organization of regional disaster emergency management and disaster risk management. Furthermore, the training for governmental staff need to improve their effectiveness of emergency plan implementation, to drive all the related civil servants to participate in disaster emergency and relief work 10
  • 11. 2012 IDRC DAVOS 4.3 For Community Correspondent collection. To allow them master the basic Aim : strengthen their basic skills for potential disaster risk eliminating and disaster information knowledge and technology for disaster relief and disaster information management. Focus: Ability of disaster information management, assist of emergency reaction 11
  • 12. 2012 IDRC DAVOS 4.4 For Volunteer Aim : strengthen the capacity of local voluntary works in order to build a professional volunteers team. Focus: The training contents include the psychological assistance and professional skills for self-helping during disasters. 12
  • 13. 2012 IDRC DAVOS Conclusion A regional disaster training framework especially for typhoon disaster chains was built. •Combining the popularity training for public with the professional training •the training process more well-organized, more pertinence and effectiveness. ISO quality standards . new concepts and advanced technology of international disaster mitigation update the program Emphasizes knowledge learning and psychological modification in response to disasters. 13
