 Finding the correct people can be difficult.

that can be given to the public.
Secondary Research
 Definition
 Using premade research as your own work.
 Advantages
 The research has already been completed so
you just need to reword it to make it your
own.
 Disadvantages
 It might be hard to find.
 Example
 Research that has already been completed.
Quantitative Research
 Definition
 It is where yes/no answers are completed
in bulk.
 Advantages
 Quick and easy.
 Disadvantages
 May not be accurate.
 Example
 Pie charts.
Qualitative Research
 Definition
 Research that goes into detail.
 Advantages
 Answers that go more in depth.
 Disadvantages
 You won’t get as many answers.
 Example
 Forums
Audience Research
 Definition
 Finding more about who uses the product.
 Advantages
 More information on the audiences interests.
 Disadvantages
 The information may not be accurate.
 Example
 Figuring out what the average age of
gamers are.
Market Research
 Definition
 Finding more about the market place where the
product is sold.
 Advantages
 You are able to determine the price based on
location.
 Disadvantages
 It may be difficult to find similar products.
 Example
 Researching which market is most popular within
the community.
Production Research
 Definition
 Searching various pieces of information required
to produce a certain product.
 Advantages
 There are plenty of sources to look at.
 Disadvantages
 May take a long time to find solid information on
a particular topic.
 Example
 Searching what software is most popular to
edit videos.

 Objective
 Research that is not affected by ethical opinions/beliefs.
 Subjective
 Research that is affected by ethical opinions/beliefs.
 Valid
 Whether the research given is able to answer the correct
question.
 Reliable
 Research that gives consistent answers.
