Persuasive Essay About Chocolate
There is no doubt that chocolate has become one of the most favorite food types and flavors in the
world. Chocolates come in different shapes and they are popular for different holidays, such as
chocolate bunnies and eggs on Easter, chocolate coins on Hanukkah, Santa Claus and other holiday
symbols on Christmas, and hearts on Valentine s Day. In this essay, I will explain how you can make
your own chocolate Easter eggs in your home. Equipment and preparation part is the most crucial part.
Go to craft store and pick up your favorite Easter egg molds (molds are usually made from plastic or
silicone, not expensive), then follow these steps to make a delicious and decorative chocolate Easter
eggs.
In your first step, you should melt your ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Then, pour the melted chocolate into a mold and work quickly. Use a teaspoon to spread your
chocolate both sides of the mold.
After that, you should close the mold so the edges join, you can use clips. Shake to coat on both sides,
then turn it over and put aside until set. By doing this, chocolate setting only on one of the sides can be
prevented. Put your molds in fridge until they harden enough, it will be around 5 10 mins. After that,
you can remove the eggs from the mold easily. Gently press the top and bottom of the mold to release
the egg. Make sure the press each side one at a time.
Now your chocolate eggs are ready to eat, but we have one more step to complete this process. This is
the funniest part of making Easter chocolate eggs: time to use your imagination. However, you need to
follow some steps in this part also.
To decorate the eggs, place the egg in a glass or small cup and use as a stand. You can label the eggs
with the process called piping. To pipe the eggs, fold a permanent paper in the shape of a cone, and fill
the inside with melted white chocolate (or any other color you wish). Write your custom or desired
messages, or paint your favorite shapes onto the eggs. You can also add white chocolate into the mold
before any of the steps above, to give the eggs zebra like patterns for additional decoration.

Erin Mccandrew Research Paper
Since I am a musician myself, I derive immense joy from discovering up and coming musicians with
genuine talent and fierce determination. And Erin McAndrew is certainly all that and more. Recently, I
was able to ask her a few questions about how she got started in music, her involvement in the music
industry so far, and what she has planned for the near (and even distant) future.
RH: What inspired you to become a musician? What were your early music influences?
EM: I ve always loved music. I loved singing and dancing from a very young age. My earliest musical
influences were Broadway musicals and pop music. When I was thirteen, my family moved from an
itty bitty town to a Philadelphia suburb and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While social media and digital music has given fans more access to music, ensuring that one s music
is heard above the maddening crowd can be a seemingly insurmountable task. Thankfully, the
undaunted Erin has made the decision to leap into this industry, and the desire of her heart is to make a
living doing what she loves to do. She is enamored with the arts, and as she shares her gifts with the
world, she recognizes that in order to be a success in this business, she must have patience and take
each and every opportunity for advancement that she can. Already she is setting herself apart by
utilizing YouTube as a place to display her array of talents, and while some days it might be an uphill
battle, she has the positive attitude and sunny disposition (not to mention the energy and optimism of
youth) to guarntee that she continues her quest of accomplishing every dream within her heart. While
she is far from a household name in music, she seems to understand even at her age that overnight
success is a myth, and she is aware of the fact that perseverance is the key to success. I would invite
everyone to check out her music and social media accounts below so that you may experience her
talent firsthand and support this young musician. Furthermore, you

abusive relationships and end up never leaving. But some women are brave or work up the courage to

The Organizational Structure And Leadership Styles
When working for an organization, there are many variables that will determine how successful the
company is. There are also many variables that can play in the downfall of an organization. The
organizational structure and leadership styles are vital to the success of any company. The background
of a leaders values and culture, as well as the culture within an organization, will determine the
success of the company itself. It will also determine the type of interaction and quality of work
produced by the employees. Management plays a vital role in determining if the organization will be
successful and prosper. Managers are not only decision makers, but also exercise considerable
influence through formal and informal communication, role modeling, and other powerful means
(Nahavandi, Denhardt, Denhardt Arittiguteta, 2015). There are different leadership styles to consider
when placing a person in a position of leadership. Toxic leadership is a management issue that affects
the organizational culture and employees job satisfaction. This type of toxic leadership exists
everywhere, in both the military and civilian sectors of the world. The cultural mindset of these types
of leaders has a lot to do with not being able to attain their self awareness. This essay will explain the
characteristics of a toxic leader, how toxic leadership is detrimental to the organization, and ways to
overcome a toxic leader.

Peacekeepers have been deployed into regions in conflict with the purpose of creating conditions of
lasting peace. They are mostly stationed in areas of Africa and the Middle East, but they are also

violations, environmental damage, and child abuse. For the most part, peacekeepers are a huge help in
stabilizing a country or region in conflict and are beneficial to the public. However, some
peacekeepers abuse their power as a result of minimal supervision. There have been reports of

There are 16 peacekeeping operations worldwide, mainly in parts of Africa and parts of Asia to handle
conflicts. To combat peacekeepers abusing their power Brazil has supported the United Nation in
imposing of a zero tolerance policy for situations of misconduct and thoroughly investigates all
credible accusations. However, often times people who are victimized by peacekeeper misconduct are
afraid to come forward or do not have the resources to report. In order to combat the occurrence of
power abuse, peacekeepers are required to adhere to the Ten Rules , which is a code of conduct. This
code requires that Peacekeepers respect natives and their cultures, act with compassion, behave in a
dignified manner, hold themselves to high moral standards and respect the environment . Members
have been given a card, with these rules printed on them since 1998. As of 2007, the General
Assembly has also adopted the United Nations Comprehensive Strategy on Assistance and Support to
Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by United Nations Staff and Related Personnel, which helps
outline methods to support victims of peacekeeper abuse . In recent times, there as been an increase in
attention to peacekeeper misconduct and the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has tried to
remedy the problem by placing more people in missions. Brazil has also actively participated in these
efforts.

November 3, 2016
Part 1 The first issue that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton disagree on is abortion. Let us take a look
at Mr. Trump s position on this topic. He is quoted as saying, Public funding of abortion providers is
an insult to people of conscience at the least and an affront to good governance at best (Trump). He
believes that life is the most fundamental right. Donald Trump actively opposes Planned Parenthood
and disapproves of using government funds to pay for abortions. He is opposed to abortion except for
rape, incest, and in cases where the life of the mother may be compromised. He would like to defund
Planned Parenthood and make abortions illegal at 20 weeks unless the life of the woman is in danger
by signing into law the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. Hillary Clinton s view of abortion
differs immensely from that of Donald Trump. She has said that as president, she ll stand up for
Planned Parenthood and women s access to critical health services, including safe, legal abortion. She
believes that government has no business in the decisions that women make with their families in
accordance with their faith and medical advice (Lafrance). Clinton advocates for partial birth abortion
as well as late term abortion in an instance where the pregnancy is threatening the life of the mother.
She would like to implement taxpayer funding of abortion and repeal the

Lord Of The Flies Vs Peter Pan Essay
Lord of the flies vs. Peter Pan In the books Lord of the Flies by William Golding, and Peter Pan by
J.M. Barrie, they share similar characteristics throughout the story and in the characters themselves.
Lord of the Flies takes place on a deserted island where about 20 British boys ages eight to thirteen,
have crashed on a jungle like island during World War II. The boys find themselves in many dilemmas
such as a fire, shelter and most importantly a need for authority and order. Unlike Lord of the flies,
Peter Pan, tells the tale of a boy who doesn t want to grow up and lives on the magical island called

Tradition and Ritual in Judiasm Essay
The purpose of this research paper will be to examine how Judaism rituals have helped the religion
remained amongst the most prominent in the world. The use of tradition and rituals has been at the
very core of its existence. Birth, adolescent, marriage and death rituals will be used to highlight how
the Judaism way of life is not dependent on the written word but rather the actions of those who
follow this historic Hebrew religion. The paper will begin with a brief outline of Judaism and its

Torah
It is extremely difficult for the average person to understand how a religion that cannot agree on a
name for their God could survive. The survival of Judaism for almost 4,000 years with half of its
history existing without a homeland, a temple or a common geographical location can be credit to
their teaching of the Torah. The word Torah is derived from the verb to guide or to teach 3.
Historically Judaism has survived by the older generation teaching the younger generation the heart of
their faith carried and communicated through the way, the path and the teachings of the Torah.
Torah technically refers to the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. These five books are called
Chumash and are divided into 54 portions called a parashah. At least one portion is read in the
synagogues each week. The readings give to each member of the synagogue the basis for their life
practices of the week.
This set of practices is called the Way of Life. The practices and the way the individual connects to
God are called mitzvah. The word itself

Why I Like Penelope
I like some of the characters but some I don t like because they are rude to people in the novel. Some

people for the fun of it. Maribella made a big mistake but Jaime forgave her because he knew she did
it for a good reason and not for the fun of it. I love people like this because it shows that those people
try to find the good in everyone. A reason I like Penelope is because she is so sweet to everyone and
she has a very big heart. She wants everyone to be safe and looks out for everybody she knows and

Stiller and Jack Byrnes, played by Robert DiNiro. Greg is a Jewish male nurse living in Chicago with
his Christian kindergarten teacher girlfriend Pam, Jack s daughter. Greg decides he wants to propose
to Pam, but his plans are halted when Pam s sister Debbie becomes engaged, and Greg learns that
Debbie s finance had asked Jack s permission before proposing. When Greg meets Pam s parents a
sequence of embarrassing and destructive events occurs. Throughout the film, Greg is seeking
approval and acceptance by Jack and the Byrnes family, but many mishaps ensue, and he
instantaneously becomes the prey to Jack, who in movie reveals that he is ex CIA.
Likewise, as mentioned previously Greg had planned on proposing to Pam, Jack s daughter, but his

Business Case 06-12 Outsourcing Services, Inc.
Case 06 12 Outsourcing Services, Inc. Outsourcing Services, Inc. (OSI), a SEC registrant, provides a
variety of EDP and payroll processing services to third parties. OSI recently has introduced a new
service line to provide product help line support services through customer service representatives
(CSRs) who are employees of OSI. On January 1, 2004, OSI entered into a service contract with
Company X. Pursuant to the terms of the contract, OSI s CSRs will provide technical support for
Company X s products. The contract has an initial term of one year and is not cancelable by the
customer. After the initial year, the contract is renewable at negotiated market rates. Prior to starting
this new service line, OSI hired independent consultants ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Cost Deferral Policy In the past, OSI had not entered into transactions in which significant up front
costs were incurred in connection with the set up and origination of its contracts, and, accordingly,
OSI has not adopted a policy for accounting for these types of costs. OSI has indicated it plans to
adopt a policy of deferring all up front costs related to this contract including system set up costs, sales
commissions, and other contract acquisition costs. Management of OSI believes they will recover
these costs and generate substantial profits through their call revenue (initial term and renewal
periods), and the up front costs incurred are a necessary investment in the contract. Based on customer
lifting studies performed by an outside consultant and other industry statistics, OSI expects its contract
with Company X to extend beyond the initial contract term and estimates a customer life of
approximately 4.5 years. The total fees (set up fee and call revenue) over the customer life are
expected to exceed the direct costs of the contract, including amortization of the deferred costs before
any indirect or Selling, General, and Administrative costs.

Examples Of Bravery In Nightjohn
Bravery NightJohn written by Gary Paulsen is written about a knowledged southern slave named
NightJohn. NightJohn is a male slave traveling plantations teaching other slaves the tool of reading
and writing. A little girl named Sarny meets NightJohn and wants to read and write. Struggling to keep
a secret Sarny slowly learns while NightJohn pays the price. Traveling during nights to pit school
NightJohn grasps the challenge with his bravery, fighting his owner, Weller, with ease. In the story
NightJohn characters learn to embrace bravery and stand up to obstacles they are not comfortable
with. To begin with, the slaves take on bravery by covering up for each other. For example one day
Sarny was practicing her writing in the dirt when Weller stumbles upon her. She quickly runs to
Mammy and hides behind her. Weller walks in the quarters and says Who is teaching her to read? .
Mammy replies back with Sir? acting like she is clueless when she really knows who is teaching her
to read (Page 64). This shows that Mammy was grasping ahold of her bravery to cover up for 12 year
old Sarny. She knows the consequences of lying to her owner but with bravery she stood up to an
obstacle she wasn t comfortable with. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Alcohols Lab Report
The purpose of this investigation is to burn selected alcohols of different molecular structure in a
controlled environment to compare the magnitude and rates of energy release.
Fuels are any kind of substance that, when burnt, produces chemical or nuclear energy that can be
used for work. More accurately, fuels may be defined as a naturally occurring or artificially prepared
combustible carbonaceous material (Palanna, 2009). One of the most common fuels that is still used
today is charcoal. Charcoal is the remains of burnt wood which was discovered to be a good fuel
source and was used to melt metals.
When fuels are burnt the majority of the energy released was stored within the weak double bond of
molecular oxygen found in the fuel. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first way to improve the result obtained would be the use of an insulator that can contain a higher
level of heat than the plain aluminium and steel shrouds. The original design concept incorporated this
by wrapping the steel shroud with glass fibre and having small pipes with holes cut into the fibre for
gasses to escape. It was estimated that the original design would yield a percentage of heat trapped to

A Unique Point Of View
A Unique Point of View Unique point of view strongly influences Scott F. Fitzgerald s Bernice Bobs
Her Hair and Sandra Cisneros short story Eleven. Bernice Bobs Her Hair portrays a girl willing to
give up her unique character to form a new and attractive personality from the help from those around
her which she hopes will make her more mentally attractive. Furthermore, Sandra Cisneros Eleven
captures a girl emotionally unsettled who observes in herself that while she turns eleven, she also
portrays emotions from her past ages of ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, and one
through a dilemma caused by her misunderstanding teacher. Both authors incorporate comparable and
contrasting point of view styles ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Comparably, in Bernice Bobs Her Hair this problem also lies great since the entirety of its story
Fitzgerald writes in third person. Third person provides an impeccable description of every situation,
however, without shifting to any other point of view, Fitzgerald disadvantages the reader in obtaining
a more personal view of one of the main characters. For example, at the time where Bernice is about
to cut off her cousin Marjorie s hair it states, She was by the bedside now, very deliberate and calm.
She acted swiftly. Bending over she found one of the braids of Marjorie s hair, followed it up with her
hand to the point nearest the head, and then holding it a little slack so that the sleeper would feel no
pull, she reached down with the shears and severed it. Without the use of first or second person, the
reader lacks in attaining Bernice s thoughts leading up to her drastic action and cutting off Marjorie s
hair. Overall, through both stories use of one main point of view, reader s lack attaining a different
perspective of Fitzgerald s Bernice Bobs Her Hair and Cisneros Eleven.
Second, Bernice Bobs Her Hair more effectively uses narration in its story since Fitzgerald uses an
omniscient narrative presence so that the reader can get a glimpse of all the characters thoughts and
feelings. This overall better use of narration reoccurs throughout the book such as at the time that
Rachel asks Charley s opinion whether or not she should bob her hair by

Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini are two of the most well known leaders of the totalitarian
movement which began in the 20th century. The early 1900 s was a very brutal time in history, as it
commenced the beginning of the first world war. As young men, they both served as soldiers in World
War One. Their involvement in the war both left them with violent views of socialism and
communism. In the summer of 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was signed, marking the end of the war.
The treaty forced Germany to accept sole responsibility for the war, resulting in global German
humiliation. The consequences left Germany liable for harsh reparations and the reassignment of

Both Hitler and Mussolini possessed an overbearing hunger for power. Mussolini and Hitler s goals
revolved around ideas of expansion and domination. The leaders knew that in order to reach their
main goal they had to gain the respect of other countries. The process started with the restoration of
their countries reputation. Hitler and Mussolini approach to this was to abolish all democracy in order
to obtain control. They gained the power they needed through the Nazi and fascist movements. In
Adolf Hitler s novel, Mein Kampf, he confesses how Benito Mussolini inspired him to form the
German fascist movement. In the novel, Hitler explains we must inspire discipline and blind faith, for
the side with the best discipline and most blindly obedient (easy to control, do not question) troops

order to achieve a functioning government one must gain full control of the government. Through
their reign, Germany and Italy enforced laws based on both Nazi and fascist beliefs. Despite their
similarities, Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini didn t see eye to eye. After the publication of Hitler
novel, Mussolini claimed to have thought it was weak and boring. Mussolini s goals were extremely

Malcolm Knowles Andragogy Essay
Malcolm S. Knowles:
Adult learning had no distinction from pedagogy in the United States until Malcolm S. Knowles
introduced his controversial theory of andragogy. Knowles was an American educator at North
Carolina State University (Knowles, Holten III, Swanson, 2015). Andragogy is defined as a set of
principles of adult learning that in turn enables those designing and conducting adult learning to build
more effective learning process. Knowles determined there are 4 assumptions about characteristics of
adult learners in 1980 and added a 5th assumption in 1984. His assumptions resulted into the 4
principles of andragogy.

For myself, I can remember things I say aloud better than just reading it. I can also write the material
and have better recall than just reading the material. I have also retained more information by
associating it with personal, real events that have happened in my life. I have found that many times if
I doubt myself, I talk myself into failure; therefore, it greatly benefits me to reassure myself that I can
do it.
Andragogy in Practice as a holistic learning model:
Based on the 4 principles of andragogy, there is a need to explain the reasons that specific things are
being taught, instruction should be task oriented instead of promoting memorization, instructions
should take into account the wide variety of different backgrounds of learners, and since adult learners
are self directed, instruction should allow learner to discover knowledge for themselves without
depending on others (Pappas, 2013). A recently developed holistic theory provides an integrative
framework to examine some of the contemporary adult learning theories (Yang, 2004). Bibliography

constituencies and having both an elected First Minister as well as a Deputy First Minister. While
most issues are resolved via a common majority it is possible for members to subscribe a petition of
concern which will lead to a decision being made via both a Unionist and a Nationalist assembly

Comparing and Contrasting High School Teachers and...
Most people see teachers and professors in the same light. They perform similar tasks. They teach.
However, they are separated by a fine line of distinction. High school teachers help a student build a
foundation of knowledge, and train the student to focus on learning. College professors help to shape
and define a student s foundation of knowledge, and challenge the student to cultivate the mind. High
school teachers and college professors have similar goals and guidelines, but they take a differing
approach to achieving the end result. The way the class is conducted, academic expectations, and view
of student responsibility are a few of the contrasts between high school teachers and college
professors.
A high school class ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The student is responsible for knowing what is required and when it is due. For example; I once asked
my math professor if we would have a homework assignment for the weekend and he did not answer
me. One of the other students told me to look in the syllabus for the homework assignment. I was
embarrassed that I had asked and now I save my syllabus for the entire course.
Academic expectations are different between high school teachers and college professors as well. The
academic expectations of teachers are focused on memorizing and regurgitating facts and can be met
with minimal effort on the part of the student. High school teachers tend to point out the relationship
between subjects so that the student has no choice but to see the connections. Furthermore, the student
is expected to merely do the homework, and be able to recite the lesson to earn a passing grade.
Memorization is the primary focus. For example; students are required to memorize the multiplication
tables even if they don t understand the concept of multiplication. I was one of those students that did
not understand multiplication and as a result, I forgot the multiplication tables almost as soon as math
class was over. Whether or not the student actually understands the material is second to being able to
recite the material. This demonstrates a much lower academic expectation compared

Presentation:
The item suggested by this paper is Wool and the fare nation is Canada. The paper is intended to think
about Risk Analysis and overseeing it with Wool creation in New Zealand. New Zealand is the Second
Largest fleece fares to Canada.
Product History:
Wool is a textile fiber obtained from sheep and certain different creatures that include Goats, Muskox,
Rabbits, and different sorts of fleece from Camelid.
Wool is taken from the sheep a few times a year in New Zealand. Fleece has a few qualities that
recognize it from hair or hide, it is crimped, it is elastic, and it develops in staples (groups).
Wool is ordered into the particular gatherings. By this arrangement, processors can choose the
accurate item which they need to process, and pay the ranchers as indicated by the quality and sort of
fleece.
Sheep Shearing is the methodology by which the woolen is fleeced from a sheep. In the wake of
shearing, the fleece is differentiated into four principle classes: wool, broken, guts, and locks.
The nature of wools is dictated by a system known as fleece classing, whereby a qualified individual
called fleece classer gatherings fleeces of comparative gatherings together to pay most extreme comes
back to the agriculturist or sheep holder.

The Personalistic vs. the Naturalistic Viewpoint
As far back as the time when man first discovered ways to communicate with one another he has
attempted to understand and explain the course of historical events. In considering the historical

have emerged: personalistic theory and naturalistic theory. The personalistic theory often times called
the great man theory holds that a chosen few individuals are unique in that they are endowed with an

It ignited a novel appeal to all kinds of machines that were being made not only for entertainment
purposes but also for use in science and industry. Machines were now becoming familiar to people
from all walks of life all over Western Europe. They were becoming an accepted way of life. The most
important of all these machines to the history of modern psychology was the mechanical clock. Clocks
at this time were sensational and amazing and had an enormous influence on human thought
throughout all of society. They captured the essence of the doctrine of mechanism which was the
underlying philosophy and the zeitgeist of the seventeenth century. The theory of mechanism held that
natural processes were mechanically determined and could be explained through the sciences of
physics and chemistry. It led the prominent thinkers to imagine and explain the universe in terms of
operating as a great machine predictable, precise, and regular. Clocks shared these same
characteristics, therefore, they became models of the universe for scientists and philosophers. One of
the most noted philosophers agreeing with this idea was Rene Descartes(1596 1650). Descartes was

William Pitt Research Paper
Literature during the Eighteenth century helped shape and embody public opinion towards certain
political figures. This statement is particularly true in the examination of William Pitt 1st Earl of
Chatham and his Whig government, and the role literature had in evoking popular opinions towards
him and his party in the political classes. Literature in particular can be considered a good barometer
for understanding attitudes towards politics due to their intimate relationship. The Eighteenth century
saw a rise in a specific genre of literature, that was particularly focused on engaging in the political
discussions and debates of the time. This political literature became an important form of critiquing

By 1759 William Pitt had become a hugely popular figure due to his shepherding of British military
and imperial successes. He became a symbolic figure of Britain s military dominance and growth into
an imperial power. The success in the war had boosted Pitt s popularity, increasing his importance in
the Pitt Newcastle Government and further cementing his image as Patriot King figure. Popular
support for Pitt was reflected in the political literature and their support of his achievements. In 1757 a
political journal was published called The Constitution, with an address to a great man that was
dedicated directly to Pitt as the titular Great Man . This journal represents an overt celebration of
William Pitt, cannosing him as a significant and celebrated figure, that is emblematic of British
success. The journal is suggestive of the increasing support given to Pitt during the late 1750 s, and his
increasing role as a figure of popular admiration from the political classes. During this period of Pitt s
popularity, the more positive aspects of Pitt s image were strengthened, specifically his image of the
Great Commoner. This image emphasised Pitt s supposed honesty and integrity, as well as connection
to the political classes. This image became particularly evident in the literature of the late 1750 s, as it
strongly reinforced the popular understanding of his image. This can be seen in a Broadside Ballad
from 1763, named Excise A La Mode; or Sawney s Oeconomy. This ballad is indicative of the
literature of the late 1750 s and its portrayal of Pitt. This is the case because it draws on the positive
image of Pitt, that pervaded the late 1750 s. For example, in the ballad, Pitt is described as a good
peacemaker who charm(s) our allies. This description helps to maintain the ideal of Pitt s
magnanimity, as well as amplifying his charismatic

African American Males And Capital Punishment
African American Males and Capital Punishment We simply cannot say we live in a country that
offers equal justice to all Americans when racial disparities plague the system by which our society
imposes the ultimate punishment. (Senator Russ Feingold, 2003). It has been proven that death
sentencing across the USA is determined by the race of the victim and race of the defendant. In 1990,
there was a report from the General Accounting office which concluded that those who murdered
whites were more likely to be sentenced to death than those who murdered blacks. (Focus, 2003) This
injustice amongst us are because people are scared and don t know. They don t know whether a black
man is pulling out a gun, their phone, wallet, etc. So just to remain safe, they retaliate by killing our
men. Society has grown to function on the fear of black men. Capitalism and the imprisonment of
black people have become profitable. They ve made a big business to just imprison black men. Black
men are inheritably a threat to the capitalist structure of America, it protects their money, their politics,
and their society. James Eagan Holmes, a 26 year old male from San Diego California, is the accused
perpetrator of a mass shooting that killed 12 and murdered 70 people at a Century movie theater in

Sex Education Should Be Taught At School
Sex education can be traced back to the beginning of the 20th century. Chicago s public schools
introduced the Nation s first formal sex education program which has raised controversy throughout
the years. Many believe that talking about sex in the classroom raises the initiation of such behavior.
Others believe that ignoring the subject keeps teens in the dark which leads them to make unsafe
decisions when they become sexually active. Whether it is at school or at home, teens must be taught
about the dangers of unprotected sex as well as abstinence. Being unaware of protection puts teens at
risk of becoming pregnant or contracting an STD or STI. Sex education must be taught at school and it
must be taught right, without lies or myths and without giving teens the idea that the only perfect time
for them to become sexually active is when they are married. If sex education was taught at school
instead of abstinence only education, it would help young adults make correct decisions when
becoming sexually active as well as helping them make wise choices that can affect their future.
From the beginning of the 1900 s, sex education became a topic that till this day will raise
controversy. As it started to be introduced in more schools, conservative groups began protesting to
ban sex education. They believed children should not be taught such behavior since it was a topic that
should be discussed at home; at a parent s choice. When the 1980 s AIDS epidemic began, these

Aliesha Seamons Mrs.Miller English 12A 15 September, 2016 On March 1, 1872, President Ulysses
S. Grant signed a law making Yellowstone National Park out of 3,468 square miles of land in
Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. The people of the United States wanted to preserve the land to let
future generations see the shooting geysers, bubbling hot pots, forests full of towering lodgepole
pines, sparkling lakes, and magnificent views of the stars at night. Of course, the land supported
unique animals such as bison, bald eagles, elk, grizzly bears, and wolves. However within the first 50
years of being open, the wolves were hunted to extinction. They were gone from the park for over 70
years. At that time, scientists and forest rangers realized that the absence of wolves causing problems
in the ecosystem; the elk population had grown out of control. Therefore, in 1995 the Fish and Game
Department reintroduced wolves, which has benefited the Yellowstone ecosystem in many ways.
However, the farmer and ranchers feel negatively about the reintroduction, feeling that wolves do
nothing other than wreak havoc on livestock and pose a dangerous threat to those visiting the park.
The wolves appear as a threat to the ecosystem of Yellowstone National Park, however they play a
vital role and keep the ecosystem balance. Today s culture encourages children to be scared of wolves.

Why Did We Going To Win The Revolutionary War
Those British are at it again. I don t think they get that we are going to attack them sometime when

because we could win freedom, stop having our rights violated, and we could get rid of all of those

we want and need. When the British first came over to the colonies, they were always in everybody s

named them the Intolerable Acts. I don t think they should have reacted the way they did when we had
our little Boston Tea Party. They closed the Boston Harbor! That s the only way that some people of
Boston can trade to make money or important things for their family. I think they might know we are
planning what to do if they attack or what we are going to do if we attack. I think this because the
Coercive Acts include a part that said no more town meetings. They know that our meetings are
obviously for planning and they know that the more we plan, the stronger we are. When the British

those Lobster backs. It was as if we had to let someone we hate live in our house for a while. This was
the part of the act that annoyed me the most. But just think about it; if we win the war all of that would

was different than expected and the rooms were smaller, but I think that is because it was only a
docket. I have never sit in on a docket case, but I assumed the courtroom etiquette would be the same
as all other cases. I expected there to be silence in the gallery, with some hushed whispers if
conversation was necessary. In the case that I watched, other lawyers were having full conversations
in the first row of the gallery, right behind the prosecutor. I also expected the prosecutor and defense
to address the judge and question the witness from the same general area, but the prosecutor spoke
from a podium closer to the judge while the defense spoke from a podium right next to his desk. The
docket case that I watched was about felony menacing. I was unsure what felony menacing was prior
to visiting court that day, but as the case progressed the definition became a little bit clearer. The key
players in the case were the judge, prosecutor, defense and defendant, and the key witness was the
arresting officer. The defendant was arrested because the police received a call about a driver on the
road waving his gun around threatening other drivers. One of the officers responding to the call stayed
with the victim, while the other went to look for the car described in the call. Following a hint, the
arresting officer found the car in a parking lot and pulled in behind it. Upon seeing the officer exit his
car, the defendant walked out of a business with his hands in the air, saying I didn t do it. The officer
had the defendant walk toward him with his hands still in the air; when the defendant was close
enough, the officer handcuffed him. After the defendant was handcuffed through questioning the
officer determined that the defendant had weapons in the car and had an altercation with the victim
that his partner was with. The defense made a motion to suppress some of the defendant s statements
because he believed they were made during an unlawful interrogation. The defense believed that
because the

Amateur Top Prospect Maxim Letunov, C, University of Connecticut (Hockey East) One half of a
dynamic duo alongside of Kyle Connor (WPG) with the Youngstown Phantoms, Maxim Letunov is a
streaky, lanky forward with a ton of offensive ability. Letunov is a shifty forward, who recently
finished a 25 goal, 39 assist season in the USHL. While it s not one of the powerhouse NCAA schools,
the University of Connecticut offers something that other schools may not have been able to, playing
time. All reports suggest that Letunov will be given every opportunity to shine with plenty of playing
time. Freshman to Watch Brendan Warren, LW, University of Michigan (Big Ten) One player who
never wavered from his original hockey plans is Brendan Warren. As a native of Michigan and life
long Wolverine hopeful, Warren will suit up for legendary Head Coach Red Berenson, staying
comfortable right in Ann Arbor. Warren doesn t possess elite skills, but he did put up respectable
numbers in the United States Development program, playing in a bottom six role. Warren is worthy of
attention due to his size, instincts, and largely untapped potential. Unsigned for 2016 17 Hunter Fejes,
LW, Colorado College (NCHC) Looking back at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, and Coyotes appeared to
have a late round gem on their hands after taking former Shattuck St. Mary s product Hunter Fejes.

Problems in Maintaining Biodiversity in the Modern World
Biodiversity is the term used to describe the range of habitats and variety of species of animals and
plants within them. (2) The maintenance and increase of biodiversity is important to keep an
environment stable. If there is a loss of biodiversity then a population of a species will decrease and
can only breed with each other. However, as inbreeding takes place genetic defects are caused leading
to populations gradually becoming extinct. If this takes place soon most species in an environment
will die out creating less diverse habitats.
Problems arise with the maintenance of biodiversity when a balance needs to be reached with human

Grazing involves the introduction of grazing animals onto grassland, they eat tree seedlings so the
trees are not established. This means that the land does not develop in to woodland but remains as
grassland. However, overgrazing may take place after a period of time so desertification begins to take
place. This may be overcome by introducing a natural predator of the grazing animals.
Mowing of the grassland is another method used to maintain grassland. The point from where trees
grow, the apical meristem is above the mowing level. Therefore when mowing takes place the
seedling dies, grasses have meristems above mowing level so they remain undisturbed from the
mowing. When using this method as a control great care has to be taken, mowing cannot take place
too frequently otherwise this will lead to low biodiversity. If the grassland is mowed every six months
then there has been a sufficient amount of time for other plants to grow amongst the grass leading to
an increase in biodiversity.
Scrub clearance is used as a final alternative for maintaining biodiversity within grassland that has
already started to develop into woodland. Seedlings, bushes, bracken, bramble or any plant species
related to woodland are pulled out of the ground by their roots. This is a temporary measure to ensure
grassland is maintained.
As woodland is not as biologically

Then i hear a rumble. I think to myself uh oh. then this giant deathclaw thing comes out at me. It
swings its hand hits me in the torso. I went flying through a wall. I get up and run at it and bash it with
my shoulder. I pull my arm around that deathclaw neck. I pull as hard as i can. I choke till he dies. As i
go back into the building the group of settlers that were trying to this place called the sanctuary. I told
them it was right up the hill. So i go on to find diamond city. As i walking down this road i hear
yelling. So i start running up the hill and see 2 people facing weapons at these people in a cafe. I tell
all of them to calm down. These people on the outside would not calm down. So i persuaded them to
put their weapons away. As i walk away they solved this problem by themselves. As i walk in this
town i notice there nobody is here. Then when i hear somebody shout out I ve never been in a gunfight

Charles Louis De Secondat, Baron De Montesquieu, And...
This could not be truer and better expressed about the rule of governance. That is why James Madison
and men like him sought after the influence of some of the greatest minds; Charles Louis de Secondat,
Baron de Montesquieu, Mark Kishlansky, and Thomas Paine. Each of these men are different in their
own rights but all strive for the common accomplishment of the perfect balance and formula for the
government and their public. Throughout my term paper elaborate on Montesquieu s Spirit of Laws
chapters twenty two through twenty six, Mark Kishlansky a Monarchy Transformed: Britain 1603
1714 chapters one through two. I will then go on to discuss Thomas Paine s Common Sense and then
return to Montesquieu Spirit of Laws chapters one through thirteen. From these readings, I will go on
and discuss their summary of ideas, events, and/or ways of thinking that influenced the constitution. I
will also identify the amendments that were influenced by these readings as well. Montesquieu had an
influence on the constitution because of his one idea of religion. Montesquieu believed that the less
power religious ideas possess in the political concerns of a country, the more virtuous, happy, free, and
at peace with others the people will be. He thought that with human laws, imposed to direct people
and their will, must provide direction or rule, and not counsels. On the other hand religion made to
esteem the heart, should provide an abundance of counsels and little to none rule. He

Quetzalcoatl Summary
According to the chroniclers indigenous, ten years before the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors
occurred facts fateful or prodigious that, in accordance with their religion, were true predictions that
confirmed the tradition of that Quetzalcoatl, eighth king of the Toltecs, would have to return to reclaim
their treasures and take possession of his kingdom, as he himself had warned when was Tula in the
year 999.
Three years before the arrival of the Spaniards, Montezuma II was noted from a vantage point of his
palace the comet that appeared in Tenochtitlan. The superstitious tlatoani deducted that Quetzalcoatl
was announcing its return.

According to the Florentine Codex, appeared when Hernan Cortes, Moctezuma had the certainty that
it was neither more nor less than that of Quetzalcoatl. And the first thing he did was to send
ambassadors carrying three different sets of attire, associated with Tezcatlipoca, Quetzalcoatl and
Tlaloc.
It is said that Cortés was fascinated when the acicalaron with the costumes of Quetzalcoatl. This just
confirm the facts and led to the terror of the Aztec emperor, who immediately began preparations to
fulfill as soon as possible with the obligation to return the treasures. Perhaps as well would deter to
Quetzalcoatl to go looking for him.

were waiting for the return of Quetzalcoatl. For cuts, this amazing coincidence was as fall from

As swift as fast, Moctezuma called Petlacalcatl, its real butler, and asked him to draw the wealth

Techniques Used to Direct Two Film Versions of William Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet Having
watched two different film adaptations of Romeo and Juliet , it is clear to see that the two directors,
Baz Luhrmann and Franco Zeffirelli, have used a number of different techniques, quite differently at
times, to put across their particular interpretations of the play. These methods and different
interpretations are very obvious if you should study the same scene as portrayed in each film. We
looked at the introduction and the opening scene of each film to compare the differences between
them and found that the differences, though some were more subtle than others, were obvious. Whilst

In the opening scene of the films, both versions use extremely different techniques to portray the
introduction of the play. Luhrmann, again, uses modernisation and starts the film with a news reporter
on a television slowly moving closer to the viewer. Along with the plain black background and no
music, this gives a very dramatic effect to the start of the film which will get the viewer instantly
interested in the rest of the film. Once the television has reached the front of the screen and the news
reporter has finished the introduction, the scene immediately changes to a fast and furious collection
of clips from modern USA. These clips of chaos, terror and destruction can be used to hint the coming
emotions of the film but also to draw the viewer s attention to the film. In my opinion it is Luhrmann s
way of showing that if Shakespeare had written Romeo and Juliet in the present day, this is the type of
chaos that the Capulet and Montague families could cause, a modern twist to the play. As well as the
images filmed, the camera effects, editing and dramatic music also add up to make the scene as
chaotic as possible. The fast zooming, panning and freeze frames give the effect of a disordered scene
which also makes the viewer feel as though they are a part

Cooperative Learning And Cooperative Learning
I believe every learner is exceptional and gains knowledge in their own unique way. Well, one learner
may learn best visually, another may learn best kinesthetically and then another may learn best
verbally. Therefore, you shouldn t restrict yourself to teaching in just one way either. It is imperative
that you approach a concept in various ways and give the learner several opportunities to explore the
concept. I believe that the student should take ownership in the learning process and the teacher
should be a facilitator of knowledge in the classroom. Therefore, the teacher should assist the learner
to their highest potential and encourage them along the way and give them prompt feedback. Learners
should collaborate together to build upon their prior knowledge and share their ideas and hypothesizes
on various concepts. I believe the learner should be evaluated on a competence based model.
A cognitivism theory that aligns with my belief statement is cooperative learning. Cooperative
learning is where students work in small groups on a common task or project while the teacher acts as
a facilitator (Coffey, 2017). In my belief statement I stated, learners should collaborate together and
build upon their prior knowledge, this is the core of cooperative learning.
A behaviorist theory that would coincide with my beliefs in prompt feedback. Behaviorist believe in
conditioning and rely completely on reinforcement (Weibell, 2011). The experimenter or teacher

Economic Impacts in Water and Energy issues caused by Climate Change in Russia Global Scope
Generally, climate change has caused some predictable and potentially heterogeneous problems
globally. Some of them are positive. For instance, increased atmospheric CO₂ are predicted to bring
about overall small increases in European crop productivity. Globally, warming will shift our living
circumstances into a more risky and comparably inadaptable direction. The key vulnerabilities
including the water and land erosion, energy sectors change, human healthy wellbeing risks, food
insecurity, environmental severities, infrastructure and relative energy usage reallocations and
estimation frequencies of extreme weather events happen. It has been proven that the consequences of
climate change in Europe are quite diversified. For Russia, basically, the general vulnerabilities are
lower than any other regions in Europe(R Römisch, 2009). National Scope Russia can be
geographically separated as following regions: the monsoon Asia, the inner arid/semi arid districts and
the Siberia. The climate change impacts in semi arid (moderated) might be severer than the arid areas.
Natural scientific domains (ecology, environmental science, etc) situations shifted under climate
change crisis in marginal areas seem to be more vulnerable than other areas (Smith et al., 1996). As a
large and multi geographic country, climate change problem in Russia are multiple dimensional which

Spring Hill Community Farm Is A Family Run Organic...
Fieldwork Paper Spring Hill Community Farm is a family run organic vegetable farm that caters to the
Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN area. Members purchase a share and pick it up once a week or once
every other week depending on what they decide their household needs. Members can also choose to
split a share with another member. Spring Hill Community Farm has been owned and run by my
parents, Mike Racette and Patty Wright, for 25 years. I ve often been told that my sister and I take
after my dad and his side of the family. As I ve gotten older I ve noticed it even more, not just in
appearance, but in personality as well. Mike Racette is a very smart and thoughtful man. He s always
eager to meet new people and share stories. My favorite example of this trait is the time we went to
the Minnesota State Fair and took a rideshare bus to the fair grounds. On the short bus ride we were
split up and he sat by an older woman. They got talking and by the end of the bus ride, he knew all
about her and her family, and she even gave him an extra ticket to the fair that she had with her! While
he is very personable, Mike can also be described as someone who highly values time alone and
privacy. Mike is a typical goofy, embarrassing dad. After the interview, I realized I had forgotten to
ask if he would be prefer to go by Mike or Michael in the paper so I texted him and he replied with the
lord..haha. Mike has a great sense of humor that helps him to connect with people and make them

Chocolates come in different shapes and they are popular for different holidays, such as chocolate bunnies and eggs on Easter, chocolate coins on Hanukkah, Santa Claus and other holiday symbols on Christmas, and hearts on Valentine s Day. In this essay, I will explain how you can make your own chocolate Easter eggs in your home. Equipment and preparation part is the most crucial part. Gently press the top and bottom of the mold to release the egg. Make sure the press each side one at a time. Now your chocolate eggs are ready to eat, but we have one more step to complete this process. This is the funniest part of making Easter chocolate eggs: time to use your imagination. However, you need to follow some steps in this part also. To decorate the eggs, place the egg in a glass or small cup and use as a stand. You can label the eggs with the process called piping. To pipe the eggs, fold a permanent paper in the shape of a cone, and fill the inside with melted white chocolate (or any other color you wish). Write your custom or desired messages, or paint your favorite shapes onto the eggs. You can also add white chocolate into the mold before any of the steps above, to give the eggs zebra like patterns for additional decoration. And Erin McAndrew is certainly all that and more. Recently, I was able to ask her a few questions about how she got started in music, her involvement in the music industry so far, and what she has planned for the near (and even distant) future. Photo Credit: Brooke Ashley Photography RH: What inspired you to become a musician? What were your early music influences? EM: I ve always loved music. Already she is setting herself apart by utilizing YouTube as a place to display her array of talents, and while some days it might be an uphill battle, she has the positive attitude and sunny disposition (not to mention the energy and optimism of youth) to guarntee that she continues her quest of accomplishing every dream within her heart. While she is far from a household name in music, she seems to understand even at her age that overnight success is a myth, and she is aware of the fact that perseverance is the key to success. I would invite everyone to check out her music and social media accounts below so that you may experience her talent firsthand and support this young musician. Furthermore, you ... Jessica Oglesbee CFL 1513 / AFG 1113 Professor Mullen / Professor Rodin November 3, 2016 Part 1 The first issue that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton disagree on is abortion. Let us take a look at Mr. Trump s position on this topic. He is quoted as saying, Public funding of abortion providers is an insult to people of conscience at the least and an affront to good governance at best (Trump). He believes that life is the most fundamental right. Donald Trump actively opposes Planned Parenthood and disapproves of using government funds to pay for abortions. He is opposed to abortion except for rape, incest, and in cases where the life of the mother may be compromised. He would like to defund Planned Parenthood and make abortions illegal at 20 weeks unless the life of the woman is in danger by signing into law the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. Hillary Clinton s view of abortion differs immensely from that of Donald Trump. She has said that as president, she ll stand up for Planned Parenthood and women s access to critical health services, including safe, legal abortion. She believes that government has no business in the decisions that women make with their families in accordance with their faith and medical advice (Lafrance). • 17. Lord Of The Flies Vs Peter Pan Essay Lord of the flies vs. Peter Pan In the books Lord of the Flies by William Golding, and Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie, they share similar characteristics throughout the story and in the characters themselves. Lord of the Flies takes place on a deserted island where about 20 British boys ages eight to thirteen, have crashed on a jungle like island during World War II. The boys find themselves in many dilemmas such as a fire, shelter and most importantly a need for authority and order. Unlike Lord of the flies, Peter Pan, tells the tale of a boy who doesn t want to grow up and lives on the magical island called Neverland with the Lost Boys, who are children who want to join Peter on his quest for never leaving childhood to become stuck up and disciplinary adults. Some Jews believe God contains the universe while others believe the universe is God. What is his name? what shall I say to then? God said to Moses, `I AM WHO I AM Torah It is extremely difficult for the average person to understand how a religion that cannot agree on a name for their God could survive. The survival of Judaism for almost 4,000 years with half of its history existing without a homeland, a temple or a common geographical location can be credit to their teaching of the Torah. The word Torah is derived from the verb to guide or to teach 3. Historically Judaism has survived by the older generation teaching the younger generation the heart of their faith carried and communicated through the way, the path and the teachings of the Torah. Torah technically refers to the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. These five books are called Chumash and are divided into 54 portions called a parashah. At least one portion is read in the synagogues each week. The readings give to each member of the synagogue the basis for their life practices of the week. Comparably, in Bernice Bobs Her Hair this problem also lies great since the entirety of its story Fitzgerald writes in third person. Third person provides an impeccable description of every situation, however, without shifting to any other point of view, Fitzgerald disadvantages the reader in obtaining a more personal view of one of the main characters. For example, at the time where Bernice is about to cut off her cousin Marjorie s hair it states, She was by the bedside now, very deliberate and calm. She acted swiftly. Bending over she found one of the braids of Marjorie s hair, followed it up with her hand to the point nearest the head, and then holding it a little slack so that the sleeper would feel no pull, she reached down with the shears and severed it. Without the use of first or second person, the reader lacks in attaining Bernice s thoughts leading up to her drastic action and cutting off Marjorie s hair. Overall, through both stories use of one main point of view, reader s lack attaining a different perspective of Fitzgerald s Bernice Bobs Her Hair and Cisneros Eleven. Second, Bernice Bobs Her Hair more effectively uses narration in its story since Fitzgerald uses an omniscient narrative presence so that the reader can get a glimpse of all the characters thoughts and feelings. High school teachers tend to point out the relationship between subjects so that the student has no choice but to see the connections. By 1759 William Pitt had become a hugely popular figure due to his shepherding of British military and imperial successes. He became a symbolic figure of Britain s military dominance and growth into an imperial power. The success in the war had boosted Pitt s popularity, increasing his importance in the Pitt Newcastle Government and further cementing his image as Patriot King figure. Popular support for Pitt was reflected in the political literature and their support of his achievements. In 1757 a political journal was published called The Constitution, with an address to a great man that was dedicated directly to Pitt as the titular Great Man . This journal represents an overt celebration of William Pitt, cannosing him as a significant and celebrated figure, that is emblematic of British success. The journal is suggestive of the increasing support given to Pitt during the late 1750 s, and his increasing role as a figure of popular admiration from the political classes. During this period of Pitt s popularity, the more positive aspects of Pitt s image were strengthened, specifically his image of the Great Commoner. This image emphasised Pitt s supposed honesty and integrity, as well as connection to the political classes. This image became particularly evident in the literature of the late 1750 s, as it strongly reinforced the popular understanding of his image. This can be seen in a Broadside Ballad from 1763, named Excise A La Mode; or Sawney s Oeconomy. This ballad is indicative of the literature of the late 1750 s and its portrayal of Pitt. This is the case because it draws on the positive image of Pitt, that pervaded the late 1750 s. For example, in the ballad, Pitt is described as a good peacemaker who charm(s) our allies. • 37. African American Males And Capital Punishment African American Males and Capital Punishment We simply cannot say we live in a country that offers equal justice to all Americans when racial disparities plague the system by which our society imposes the ultimate punishment. (Senator Russ Feingold, 2003). It has been proven that death sentencing across the USA is determined by the race of the victim and race of the defendant. In 1990, there was a report from the General Accounting office which concluded that those who murdered whites were more likely to be sentenced to death than those who murdered blacks. (Focus, 2003) This injustice amongst us are because people are scared and don t know. They don t know whether a black man is pulling out a gun, their phone, wallet, etc. So just to remain safe, they retaliate by killing our men. Society has grown to function on the fear of black men. Capitalism and the imprisonment of black people have become profitable. They ve made a big business to just imprison black men. Black men are inheritably a threat to the capitalist structure of America, it protects their money, their politics, and their society. James Eagan Holmes, a 26 year old male from San Diego California, is the accused perpetrator of a mass shooting that killed 12 and murdered 70 people at a Century movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, on July 20, 2012 during the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight Rises (Wikipedia, n.d.) • 38. Sex Education Should Be Taught At School Sex education can be traced back to the beginning of the 20th century. Chicago s public schools introduced the Nation s first formal sex education program which has raised controversy throughout the years. Many believe that talking about sex in the classroom raises the initiation of such behavior. Others believe that ignoring the subject keeps teens in the dark which leads them to make unsafe decisions when they become sexually active. Whether it is at school or at home, teens must be taught about the dangers of unprotected sex as well as abstinence. Being unaware of protection puts teens at risk of becoming pregnant or contracting an STD or STI. Sex education must be taught at school and it must be taught right, without lies or myths and without giving teens the idea that the only perfect time for them to become sexually active is when they are married. If sex education was taught at school instead of abstinence only education, it would help young adults make correct decisions when becoming sexually active as well as helping them make wise choices that can affect their future. From the beginning of the 1900 s, sex education became a topic that till this day will raise controversy. As it started to be introduced in more schools, conservative groups began protesting to ban sex education. They believed children should not be taught such behavior since it was a topic that should be discussed at home; at a parent s choice. When the 1980 s AIDS epidemic began, these ... Grant signed a law making Yellowstone National Park out of 3,468 square miles of land in Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. The people of the United States wanted to preserve the land to let future generations see the shooting geysers, bubbling hot pots, forests full of towering lodgepole pines, sparkling lakes, and magnificent views of the stars at night. Of course, the land supported unique animals such as bison, bald eagles, elk, grizzly bears, and wolves. However within the first 50 years of being open, the wolves were hunted to extinction. They were gone from the park for over 70 years. At that time, scientists and forest rangers realized that the absence of wolves causing problems in the ecosystem; the elk population had grown out of control. Therefore, in 1995 the Fish and Game Department reintroduced wolves, which has benefited the Yellowstone ecosystem in many ways. However, the farmer and ranchers feel negatively about the reintroduction, feeling that wolves do nothing other than wreak havoc on livestock and pose a dangerous threat to those visiting the park. The wolves appear as a threat to the ecosystem of Yellowstone National Park, however they play a vital role and keep the ecosystem balance. Today s culture encourages children to be scared of wolves. • 40. Why Did We Going To Win The Revolutionary War Those British are at it again. I don t think they get that we are going to attack them sometime when they least expect it. Well at least I think we should. I think we should go to war with the British because we could win freedom, stop having our rights violated, and we could get rid of all of those stupid taxes. We have a good chance at winning the war and if we do, we could get the freedom that we want and need. When the British first came over to the colonies, they were always in everybody s business. I don t agree with what the are doing and don t think they should be able to do that to us. The Coercive Acts, most colonists thought, were the worst of the acts. This is probably why they named them the Intolerable Acts. I don t think they should have reacted the way they did when we had our little Boston Tea Party. They closed the Boston Harbor! That s the only way that some people of Boston can trade to make money or important things for their family. I think they might know we are planning what to do if they attack or what we are going to do if we attack. I think this because the Coercive Acts include a part that said no more town meetings. They know that our meetings are obviously for planning and they know that the more we plan, the stronger we are. When the British were here the first time to search for smuggled food, they couldn t just sleep outside all night. They had to sleep somewhere. So those British stuck them on us. We had to willingly open up our houses to those Lobster backs. It was as if we had to let someone we hate live in our house for a while. This was the part of the act that annoyed me the most. But just think about it; if we win the war all of that would be gone. Some say that the taxes could be good for us but if you ask those people why, they have absolutely no answer. Looks like they are just trying to defend their king. The taxes that they make us pay, in my opinion are way too high. We have to do ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 41. My Reflection Of A Trip To The Courtroom I went to the Lindsey Flanigan Courthouse on Friday August 25, 2017. Before the visit, I expected the courthouse to look like the courthouses I have visited in New York or Atlanta. Inside the courtroom was different than expected and the rooms were smaller, but I think that is because it was only a docket. I have never sit in on a docket case, but I assumed the courtroom etiquette would be the same as all other cases. I expected there to be silence in the gallery, with some hushed whispers if conversation was necessary. In the case that I watched, other lawyers were having full conversations in the first row of the gallery, right behind the prosecutor. I also expected the prosecutor and defense to address the judge and question the witness from the same general area, but the prosecutor spoke from a podium closer to the judge while the defense spoke from a podium right next to his desk. The docket case that I watched was about felony menacing. I was unsure what felony menacing was prior to visiting court that day, but as the case progressed the definition became a little bit clearer. The key players in the case were the judge, prosecutor, defense and defendant, and the key witness was the arresting officer. The defendant was arrested because the police received a call about a driver on the road waving his gun around threatening other drivers. One of the officers responding to the call stayed with the victim, while the other went to look for the car described in the call. Following a hint, the arresting officer found the car in a parking lot and pulled in behind it. Upon seeing the officer exit his car, the defendant walked out of a business with his hands in the air, saying I didn t do it. The officer had the defendant walk toward him with his hands still in the air; when the defendant was close enough, the officer handcuffed him. After the defendant was handcuffed through questioning the officer determined that the defendant had weapons in the car and had an altercation with the victim that his partner was with. The defense made a motion to suppress some of the defendant s statements because he believed they were made during an unlawful interrogation. The defense believed that because the ... Problems in Maintaining Biodiversity in the Modern World Biodiversity is the term used to describe the range of habitats and variety of species of animals and plants within them. (2) The maintenance and increase of biodiversity is important to keep an environment stable. If there is a loss of biodiversity then a population of a species will decrease and can only breed with each other. However, as inbreeding takes place genetic defects are caused leading to populations gradually becoming extinct. If this takes place soon most species in an environment will die out creating less diverse habitats. Problems arise with the maintenance of biodiversity when a balance needs to be reached with human ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... (1) Grazing involves the introduction of grazing animals onto grassland, they eat tree seedlings so the trees are not established. This means that the land does not develop in to woodland but remains as grassland. However, overgrazing may take place after a period of time so desertification begins to take place. This may be overcome by introducing a natural predator of the grazing animals. Mowing of the grassland is another method used to maintain grassland. The point from where trees grow, the apical meristem is above the mowing level. Therefore when mowing takes place the seedling dies, grasses have meristems above mowing level so they remain undisturbed from the mowing. When using this method as a control great care has to be taken, mowing cannot take place too frequently otherwise this will lead to low biodiversity. If the grassland is mowed every six months then there has been a sufficient amount of time for other plants to grow amongst the grass leading to an increase in biodiversity. Scrub clearance is used as a final alternative for maintaining biodiversity within grassland that has already started to develop into woodland. Seedlings, bushes, bracken, bramble or any plant species related to woodland are pulled out of the ground by their roots. This is a temporary measure to ensure grassland is maintained. As woodland is not as biologically ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Each of these men are different in their own rights but all strive for the common accomplishment of the perfect balance and formula for the government and their public. Throughout my term paper elaborate on Montesquieu s Spirit of Laws chapters twenty two through twenty six, Mark Kishlansky a Monarchy Transformed: Britain 1603 1714 chapters one through two. From these readings, I will go on and discuss their summary of ideas, events, and/or ways of thinking that influenced the constitution. I will also identify the amendments that were influenced by these readings as well. Montesquieu had an influence on the constitution because of his one idea of religion. Montesquieu believed that the less power religious ideas possess in the political concerns of a country, the more virtuous, happy, free, and at peace with others the people will be. He thought that with human laws, imposed to direct people and their will, must provide direction or rule, and not counsels. Techniques Used to Direct Two Film Versions of William Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet Having watched two different film adaptations of Romeo and Juliet , it is clear to see that the two directors, Baz Luhrmann and Franco Zeffirelli, have used a number of different techniques, quite differently at times, to put across their particular interpretations of the play. These methods and different interpretations are very obvious if you should study the same scene as portrayed in each film. We looked at the introduction and the opening scene of each film to compare the differences between them and found that the differences, though some were more subtle than others, were obvious. Whilst Franco ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the opening scene of the films, both versions use extremely different techniques to portray the introduction of the play. Luhrmann, again, uses modernisation and starts the film with a news reporter on a television slowly moving closer to the viewer. Along with the plain black background and no music, this gives a very dramatic effect to the start of the film which will get the viewer instantly interested in the rest of the film. Once the television has reached the front of the screen and the news reporter has finished the introduction, the scene immediately changes to a fast and furious collection of clips from modern USA. These clips of chaos, terror and destruction can be used to hint the coming emotions of the film but also to draw the viewer s attention to the film. In my opinion it is Luhrmann s way of showing that if Shakespeare had written Romeo and Juliet in the present day, this is the type of chaos that the Capulet and Montague families could cause, a modern twist to the play. As well as the images filmed, the camera effects, editing and dramatic music also add up to make the scene as chaotic as possible. • 49. Cooperative Learning And Cooperative Learning I believe every learner is exceptional and gains knowledge in their own unique way. Well, one learner may learn best visually, another may learn best kinesthetically and then another may learn best verbally. Therefore, you shouldn t restrict yourself to teaching in just one way either. It is imperative that you approach a concept in various ways and give the learner several opportunities to explore the concept. I believe that the student should take ownership in the learning process and the teacher should be a facilitator of knowledge in the classroom. Therefore, the teacher should assist the learner to their highest potential and encourage them along the way and give them prompt feedback. Learners should collaborate together to build upon their prior knowledge and share their ideas and hypothesizes on various concepts. I believe the learner should be evaluated on a competence based model. A cognitivism theory that aligns with my belief statement is cooperative learning. Cooperative learning is where students work in small groups on a common task or project while the teacher acts as a facilitator (Coffey, 2017). In my belief statement I stated, learners should collaborate together and build upon their prior knowledge, this is the core of cooperative learning. Economic Impacts in Water and Energy issues caused by Climate Change in Russia Global Scope Generally, climate change has caused some predictable and potentially heterogeneous problems globally. Some of them are positive. For instance, increased atmospheric CO₂ are predicted to bring about overall small increases in European crop productivity. Globally, warming will shift our living circumstances into a more risky and comparably inadaptable direction. The key vulnerabilities including the water and land erosion, energy sectors change, human healthy wellbeing risks, food insecurity, environmental severities, infrastructure and relative energy usage reallocations and estimation frequencies of extreme weather events happen. It has been proven that the consequences of climate change in Europe are quite diversified. For Russia, basically, the general vulnerabilities are lower than any other regions in Europe(R Römisch, 2009). National Scope Russia can be geographically separated as following regions: the monsoon Asia, the inner arid/semi arid districts and the Siberia. The climate change impacts in semi arid (moderated) might be severer than the arid areas.
