Analysis Of Tupac Shakur s Song, Dear Mama
The struggles of a single mother is not something everyone will fully understand. In the late 90 s there
was huge poverty and gang violence in Los Angeles, California where Tupac grew up. Many of his
songs reflect on how his experience was in this environment. In Tupac Shakur s song, Dear Mama
found in album, Me Against the World, for a single mother to show love for her child takes a huge
struggle, especially when it was a time where gang violence was really high and fathers would leave
their children. Throughout the song Tupac uses imagery to capture the feeling of pain and struggle and
fluently illustrate the moments where he was young, until he grew up and realized the love his mother
gave him. Dear Mama is also portrayed as a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The song implements on the hardships a mother will face for the growth of their son because love is
what keeps them going. The love a mother will have for her son means that even though they don t
have a father figure around to show them how to grow up, they will always have their mothers to
teach them the way of life through a woman s perspective. In the song, Dear Mama , Tupac mentions,
For a woman it ain t easy trying to raise a man, you always was committed and he is able to
foreshadow the hardships his mother had to face while Tupac was growing up without a father. At the
age of seventeen Tupac, was always caught up in drama with his mom. Since Tupac was young he got
involved into the hustle and was left in the streets where he basically had to risk he life every day. He
never realized that being pushed into the streets would make him think about his mother or even worry
about her. Tupac reflects upon the behavior he had during the time and how much stress he would add
on his mother s shoulders, but little did he know that his mother would be there for him regardless.
Tupac Shakur s mom was committed to his son and no matter the troubles he caused and faced she
would be there for him to either help him out or at least hear him when he was not feeling good. She
was a single mother on welfare, but she always tried

Bohemian Beat Case Study
Westside Inner City
Newtown/Enmore
Marching to its Own Bohemian Beat
On the west side of the city, Sydney takes on a distinct vibe, one that embraces individuality, creativity
and a laid back lifestyle. The neighbourhoods of Newton and Enmore exemplify this spirit with their
eclectic collection of antique shops, thrift stores, throwback record shops and tattoo parlors. Candle
makers, ice creameries, vegan restaurants, art galleries and petite theatres are equally at home in this
bohemian area. The pulsing underground pub scene cultivates a thriving Indie music industry while
avant garde boutiques and public buildings are colourfully decorated with evocative political murals.
Sydneysiders descend on weekends to hunt for unique furniture and fashion, often unearthing valuable
antiques for bargain prices. Traditional pubs, such as the beloved Bank Hotel on King St., are just as
cherished as the intimate 1,600 seat Enmore Theatre and the hundreds of cosy cafes, bistros and
restaurants spread throughout these two inner city suburbs.

Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde Archetypal Analysis
Jekyll and Hyde TCEAAleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Russian soldier from World War II once said: The
battleline between good and evil runs through the heart of every man. This quote is pertinent to the
prevailing theme in the novella, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis
Stevenson. The predominant archetypal theme is good and evil exist in all humans, and we live our
lives struggling with these two forces. This theme describes the duality of good and evil in Dr. Jekyll
the good being Jekyll and bad being Hyde and the struggle he has with both sides fighting for
dominance within himself. Each side wants to become his only existing persona. The emotional

Jekyll struggles balancing the good and evil of both his good and evil persona, because of the people
in his society. He tried hard to not to have one overpower the other, even though Hyde overpowered in
the end. They especially struggled keeping their connections to each other a secret from the world.
Hyde controlled the evil inside of him while talking to Dr. Lanyon: I beg your pardon, Dr. Lanyon, he
replied civilly enough. What you say is very well founded; and my impatience has shown its heels to
my politeness. I come here at the instance of your colleague, Dr. Henry Jekyll, on a piece of business

spite of his collected manner, that he was wrestling against the approaches of the hysteria I

wanted to do was go hysterical, but had to keep his composure for the sake of the reveal of his double
life. This just shows that he was capable for a long time of the balance between his good and evil.
Jekyll repressed Hyde because of his high status in society. He explained And indeed the worst of my

Reflection Essay On The Prisoners Dilemma
In class Policy Making and Public Administration we played the Prisoners Dilemma, game on
Novermber 8th with professor, Dr.Jorgensen . The point of this game was that, each group had to
decide a color, either blue or red. Depending on the color we choose we would either add or loose
points. The team who ended with the most points will win. He separate the class in two groups, Team
1 and Team 2, I was in Team 2. As a group we had to choose a representative speaker. Our
representative speaker was Daniel Schawarts. He was in charge of speaking up and saying to
Dr.Jorgensen what color we chose as a group. After Dr. Jorgensen split up the team, my group step out
and discuss what we wanted to choose. At first we decided that we wanted to choose all blue, however
someone from the group spoke up and said, maybe we should decide to put in two reds. As a team we
came up with the plan to use the color red in our thirds and sixth simulation and call the rest color
blue. Since Dr. Jorgensen brought some prices to give to the team who won, I realize that it made
everyone more competitive to win. Therefore, at the end of the game Team 1 won. Their strategy was
to choose only reds. On the other hand the reason why we choose blue was because we were hoping
for the other team to choose blue, so we can gain points. As a result after playing this game we realize
the Evolution of Trust plays a big role during the game.
Game theory provides an interesting way of thinking about defense policy. In

Jim Goodnight Essay
It is amazing how many companies out there struggle with the simplest of things with understanding
the value of their employees. Engaged employees are critical to the success and growth of any
company. Having read and watched several articles about some trend setting companies, I already see
ideas and attributes to take back to my management career.
First, SAS has demonstrated that by keeping the employee s happy and healthy, it will increase
production. The CEO, Jim Goodnight has set out to do so by creating an environment where his
employees are free from stress or pain. He focuses more on the overall health and welfare of his
employees and is in tune with what it is they need to thrive. As quoted from Mr. Goodnight,

When the board of directors relieved Market Basket President Arthur T. Demoulas, nearly 20,000
employees walked out and customers quickly followed suite with a boycott. What Mr. Demoulas
created within his company was a feeling of a family and a relationship of trust. Employees are not
just an expense to him, but seen as a member of the team. They live and breathe it every day. As stated
by Mr. Goodnight, happy employees deliver excellent customer service, which leads to happy
customers. Customers return more often, they buy more, and they tell more people, which continues
the natural growth of the company.
The Gallup study on why employee engagement is not getting better shed some light on the awful
truth in that companies are afraid to be different and move away from old trends. They kid themselves
by merely changing the words around to make it sound new. Management may think this will succeed,
foster a team of engaged employees but it will only foster a greater disconnect. Real change is
required; you need to be able to listen to your employees. You need to be able to motivate, manage
conflict, and be clear and concise with your

Football Versus Soccer Fight Goes On For Years Now Essay
The football versus soccer fight goes on for years now and has caused a lot of controversy. Let s start
by saying that I will call football, as it is known around the world, soccer. What is often classified as
American Football for this essay will be called football. Some of the controversies that have been
caused between the two are ones such as why is it called football when it s only one player on the
team is allowed to use his feet and is only done on small occasions?, which is more physical? and
issues as simple as which of the two requires more endurance. Most people may look at it one way
when there is also another way to view these two legendary sports as I call them. As there may be
differences between the two, there are also similarities. There are a lot of debates that goes on regards
with football and soccer. Some consider that soccer is another name of football while others may
argue that soccer is entirely different from football. In this paper a compare and contrast the two
famous games, football and soccer will help set a better understanding.
Football can be considered as the name for all the other sport where the players have to play with foot
and ball in order to score. There are a number of football sports such as association football, gridiron
football, and rugby football. Soccer is a commonly used name of association football. The sport that
was to become soccer was born in 1848, which is when the first formal set of rules was drawn up.

Social Work Practice Session Essay
The practice session for the skills demonstration assignment consisted of six individuals (3 couples)
who are all close friends of the facilitator. These individuals imitated their ideals of a serious
relationship between two people experiencing problems between one another, and seeking help from
couples therapy in order to overcome these problems. The Social Learning Theory was the theoretical
framework used during this practice session along with the Current Social Work Practice Model. The
Social Learning Theory, according to Theories, Models, and Perspectives (2016), suggests, Human
behavior is learned as individuals interact with their environment and that Problem behavior is

Due to the fact that group members during this practice session were close friends, I was required to
use competency skill one. This skill requires social workers to identify as a professional social worker
and conduct oneself accordingly by demonstrating professional demeanor in behavior, appearance,
and communication. In other words, I needed to behave and communicate with these friends in a
professional manner like I would if I were facilitating the group with actual clients. Crossing my
professional boundaries was a challenge due to the fact that I was not familiar with presenting a
professional demeanor around close friends. Also, during the practice session I noticed personal values
was a boundary that was challenging to manage. This is because I have grown comfortable sharing
personal information and opinions with my friends. Therefore, it was a challenge practicing proper
personal disclosure during the practice session. It is important for a group facilitator to be able to
properly disclose because group sessions are for the betterment of clients; not an opportunity for
he/she to share personal stories and opinions. In other words, group session is for clients, not for the
group facilitator. These were some of the challenges noticed during the practice session for facilitating
a couple s therapy group

Change Models, Diagnosis Instruments, and Specific Change Interventions To make meaningful and
long term change in an organization, an organization needs to follow the guidelines of a change
model, a diagnostic instrument, and change intervention. This paper will discuss two change models,
two diagnostic instruments, and two change interventions.

The two change models discussed in this paper are Lewin s Change Model and the Action Research

Without a proper diagnosis, change is very likely to fail (Pellettiere, 2006). Alderfer (1980) states
organizational diagnosis proceeds in there orderly phases: entry, data collection, and feedback (p.
460). The entry phase consists of identifying who will participate in the assessment and if an
agreement can be reached (Alderfer, 1980). The data collection phase consists of collecting the
information and then analysis of the information (Alderfer, 1980). The feedback phase consists of
sharing the results with the organization along with suggestions for the organization (Alderfer, 1980;
Preziosi, 2012). The feedback should consist of strengths and weaknesses within the organization
(Alderfer, 1980). Salem (2002) states there are three type of assessments: structural assessments,
functional assessments, and process assessments. Structural assessments are a snapshot of a specific
point in time, functional assessments relates antecedents with actions and outcomes, and process
assessments consists of collecting data over an extended period of time (Alderfer, 1980).
SWOT Analysis SWOT Anlysis is an acronym which stands for strength, weakness, opportunities, and

Flaws According To Socrates
Socrates is a special phenomenon in the history of philosophy, especially in the background, in
lifestyle, mode of living, style of thinking. Even to his death he also inspired poetry and painting. That
death does not end its life but incarnate in another life to continue to touch the human heart with
courage and the nobility of a person who doesn t subdued under any material temptation and power.
When people give poison to Socrates, He humorously asked if it was necessary to divide the divine

It was Socrates dedicated poison to himself.
When Socrates was young, he meets and argues with all kind of people. Like other educated people in
Athens, Socrates was fascinated with the study of the prevailing view of philosophical schools during
at that time. With independent thinking, he does not want to think in the traditional way. He quickly
recognized the two fundamental errors that contemporary philosophers had: First, they only criticize,

Tragic Events That Can Alter Life Style
How do people really cope with tragic events that can alter their life style? The loss of a loved one,
being laid off from work, serious sickness, terrorist attacks and many other horrific events are
examples of difficult experiences we could face in our lives. Many of which will respond quite
differently through each event they may encounter. This is to include strong emotions and at times
they will tend to feel uncertainty. However, over time people will typically overcome these life
changing events and stressful situations. What helps people to combat these circumstances? According
to Baumgardner and Crothers (2009), resilience is a process individuals go through to face tragedies,

The Relationship Between Institutional Holdings And...
The purpose of the article is to find whether there is a relationship between institutional holdings and
payout policy in U.S. public firms between 1980 and 1996. In the begging there is an abstract, that
states the aim of the research and the reached findings. There are 7 sections in the article. The first one
is introduction, where the authors explain what results are reached and carefully introduce the readers
to the structure of the article. In the next section the hypotheses is derived. After that, section 3, the
variables and the data is described. The tests begin from section 4 to section 6. In those sections the
authors use non parametric tests, regression analyses and vector autoregressive specifications in order
to reach their results. The last section is the conclusion of the article, where the major findings are
listed. The authors find that institutions prefer firms that pay dividends to ones which don t. Moreover,
within dividend paying firms, institutions are not attracted to high dividends. They also find a positive
relation between repurchases and institutional holdings. Their results also suggest that institutions
prefer firms that repurchase regularly to firms that repurchase sporadically. They don t find evidence
that an increase in institutional holdings in firms is followed by an increase in dividends or
repurchases. Their article has been cited 412 times by other authors.

Essay On Toronto
The story of Toronto in recent decades is often framed by the rapid economy growth. And Toronto has
been named to many best of lists for living quality, safety, and creativity. But this economic boom and
wealth have not been evenly distributed across all regions of the city. While Toronto is normally
considered as a safer city, significant crime does seriously occur in many neighborhoods. I visited the
Markham and Lawrence neighborhood in Scarborough, to investigate the aging physical urban
changes in inner suburban neighborhoods. and the role of social control that aging infrastructure and
housing are playing in ties with concentrated poverty and urban crime. Toronto s inner suburbs were
composed and constructed during the post war ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This neighborhood has seen a severe declination and deterioration in living quality which results in the
loss of the middle class. Many scholars have suggested that factors such as the change in the modern
thinking of living, population flow, and government policies can lead to this declination and
deterioration of the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood. The flight of middle class has left this
neighborhood with social disadvantage and marginalized population such as recent immigrants, single
parent families, and racialized people who were unable to receive affordable accommodations
elsewhere. In fact, people fail to improve their living quality due to the social segregation of poverty.
In addition, it draws evidence on the issue of urban inequality in public housing, poverty
concentration, and gentrification. Theoretically, the perception of urban inequality is not only about
the low economic status, working class displacement and ethnic heterogeneity, but rather the quality
of street spectacles, housing, and residential stability that lead to the current condition of higher crime
rate. Toronto has become increasingly polarized. Referring to Hulchanski s analysis on the Toronto s
three cities, the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood locates in the City#3 zone. Hulchanski has
indicated the current demographic and social trend that Toronto is dividing into three cities internally
due to the Social Spatial Polarization and the shrinking of the middle

Differences Between Hinduism And Hinduism
Religion is the belief and worship of whatever higher power you choose to server, especially a
personal God or gods. In Judaism, its laws are gotten from the torah and initial five books of
scriptures; they put trust and beliefs in one God whom every one of us are displayed in our own
image. Christianity is like Judaism with one God, however utilizes the entire book of scriptures as a
guide, there are several of contrasts including laws which are available in Judaism and place of love.
Islamic followers or believers then again believe in Allah as their greatest being and the Quran as their
book of confidence or faith. Islamic practices or beliefs are stricter from what they eat, to what they
wear, how many times of day the pray along with other rules. Each one of these religions have their
days of worship and devotions for examples Christianity worship on Sundays, Judaism on Saturdays
and Muslim/Islamic on Fridays. In Buddhism religion, those who believe in it have confidence in
Buddha who was a prophet also compositions in their sacred book. They Believe in reincarnation
(rebirth), suffering, Karma and liberate oneself or way of finding reality. In Hinduism they don t have
a historical founder. Its origins reach back to primitive antiquity. Hindus believe in many Gods, the
two kinds of literature that comes from Hinduism are the Brahmanas and the commentaries called
Upanishads. I believe that an ignorant person would say deep down all religions are the same because

Compare Eisenhower And Truman At War
Both men, Eisenhower and Truman, reaffirmed that nothing in the coming campaign could damage
their friendship, but that very quickly fell apart. After various misunderstandings, the ultimate fall out
for the pair revolved around two men, Joe McCarthy, a scoundrel both men abhorred, and George
Marshall, a statesman both men widely respected. This disagreement about these two men was the
great divider that set Eisenhower and Truman at war. Only after many years once Eisenhower was out
of the office would the two rekindle their friendship. The duo faced many political and personal
problems that led to their untimely deterioration. The first setback for the pair was during Eisenhower
s acceptance speech at the Republican convention. He pointed fingers at the democratic party and said
its office and administration was wasteful, arrogant, and corrupt. Although Truman has before said It s

Eisenhower. He charged that Eisenhower was a coward for his actions because he did not condemn the

Case Study Report: A Problems Analysis on the Organisational structure and Strategic Operation of
Engineering Inspection amp; Insurance Co.
1. Circumstances and Several Main Problems of EIIC at 1991
1.1 Changes in the economic environment and its impacts to EIIC
Engineering Inspection amp; Insurance Co. (EIIC) is a small and medium sized insurance Enterprise
depended on its distinctive competence, machinery and boiler inspection service. EIIC was a highly
successful company before 1990. However the economic environment changed progressively when
EIIC reached its flourishing stage. These changes reformed the new development road for insurance

1.2 Structural Problems that Stop the Growth of EIIC
After analysing the big picture of insurance circumstance, this chapter will discuss the main problems
of EIIC in terms of structural operation and strategic operation in other to find the most critical fault
and some assumed solutions to fix it.
The increasing employee turnover is a very apparent sigh of company dysfunction at EIIC s
organisational structure. According to the case files, there were a lot of complex conflicts between
managers and employees, branch offices and headquarter, technical personnel and administrative
personnel. The most remarkable conflict came from branch managers and the chief inspectors, which
had been finely noticed by EIIC s top officers. So the high employee turnover rate is caused by the
current ineffective organisational structure of EIIC. Both of chief inspector and the bank manager
have the right to make the final decision of whether to insure certain risks or not. What s more, it is
impossible for bank managers to monitor their inspection workers. In conclusion, the disorganization
of the management layer caused more and more conflicts among the staffs and consequently beat
down the employee morals.

What Is Harlem The American Dream
For many years, African Americans lived as slaves with no rights and no freedoms to develop their
talents. Thus, African Americans desired a change. They were in search of a place that provided them
possibility and power. Therefore, during the period of 1910 1930, many African Americans embarked
on the community of Harlem in New York City. Harlem had become an elegant African American
community of great strength and sophistication. So, newcomers considered Harlem the ideal place to
prosper. Many individuals came here with a goal to receive equal rights. These equal rights would
provide African Americans with opportunities to expand their culture in areas including literature, the

CHEST PAIN
Chest Pain Overview
If you are having severe pain, crushing, squeezing, or pressure in your chest that lasts more than a few
minutes, or if the pain moves into your neck, left shoulder, arm, or jaw, go immediately to a hospital
emergency department.
Chest pain is one of the most frightening symptoms a person can have. It is sometimes difficult even
for a doctor or other medical professional to tell what is causing chest pain and whether it is life
threatening. * Any part of the chest can be the cause of the pain including the heart, lungs, esophagus,
muscle, bone, and skin. * Because of the complex nerve distribution in the body, chest pain may

Prophet Muhammad Research Paper
Muhammad was known as the prophet of Allah. With modest beginnings, he ended up starting the
Islamic religion and building an empire in Arabia. Through his life, he taught important things, and his
legacy forever has an impression on the world.
Muhammad was born in Makkah, with his father already dead. Following customs, his mother sent
him away to live with nomads for a few years. Sadly, his mother died soon after he came home,
making him an orphan. His uncle took him in, and after accompanying his uncle on trading trips, he
became a trader. Later, he began managing caravans for a widow named Khadijah, and eventually she
requested for a marriage and he accepted.

the Makkans started to boycott, and refused to do any business with the Hashim clan, Muhammad s
clan. This took a toll on many people in Muhammad s clan, resulThe year Muhammad s family died,
he went on the Night Journey. This was a winged horse taking him to Jerusalem.
Muhammad went to Madinah, because he was getting protection there. Over here, he made a Muslim
community, and had everyone respect Christians and Jews. Like Muslims, they were known as People
of the Book. The Makkans and Muslims fought many battles against each other. After everything
settled down, Muhammad led his final pilgrimage, and in Makkah, he delivered the Last Sermon, and
died soon after.
After Muhammad s death, Arabia was succeeded by 4 rightly guided people, also known as the 4
caliphs. Over the course of 100 years, the 4 caliphs expanded the empire, and spread Islam from Spain
to India. There were sometimes disagreements, and the Muslims and the Umayyads started a civil war
when Ali became 4th caliph. After Ali was murdered, the leader of Umayyad clan claimed the
caliphate and started a dynasty, which eventually lead to a split between the Sunnis and the Shi a.

Shopper Essay
In the United States alone, millions of people shop every day. Interestingly enough, despite the mass
amount people, every shopper is classified as a consumer from one of only three main categories. One
can assume a shoppers category by examining the shopper s cart since the products which they have
bought determines their category. Every shopper is categorized as either a proactive shopper, an
aggressive shopper, or a wasteful shopper.
The shopper that only buys the items on his list is the person who makes shopping quick, easy, and
affordable. Those who are proactive and live busy lives most likely fall into this category of shoppers.

remainder of the store. After picking shoes I noticed my grandmother heading towards the cashier
with a cart filled to the brim with unwanted shoes and clothing. Even though we only went shopping
for a single pair of shoes we left with a cart full of junk. In contrast to the other shoppers, the last type
of shopper never even purchases his desired item, instead, he wastes his time and money on things he
does not need. The final sect of shoppers is arguably the most foolish approach to shopping. This
shopper is the person who buys everything except for the product he intended to buy. One can entitle
this shopper as the wasteful shopper because of all the time and money wasted on the needless items
they purchase. Unfortunately, my aunt often shops as a wasteful shopper. Many years ago I went
shopping for towels with my aunt. We went to Walmart but, their towels were all overpriced. We
decided it was not worth the money; however, according to her, this was not a valid reason to leave the
store. After an hour of shopping for needless products we finally left Walmart with a cart full of stuff
she did not need nor will she ever need. Spoiled teenagers and young adults also often shop this way.

Pros And Cons Of Lincoln
Phillip Shaw Paludan, a Kentucky native, claims that President Abraham Lincoln deserves to be
considered the nation s greatest President because he faced the Civil War, our greatest national trauma
, and his actions both saved the Union and the lives of the slaves. To Paludan, Lincoln understood that
freedom for slaves was the indispensable means to saving the Union (Paludan 357); Lincoln s actions
as Commander and Chief and his oratory style achieved this freedom, which preserved the unity of the
nation. Lincoln expanded the role of Commander and Chief, because the war demanded the expansion

Gender Roles in The Yellow Wallpaper and A Streetcar...
Many different depictions of gender roles exist in all times throughout the history of American culture
and society. Some are well received and some are not. When pitted against each other for all intents
and purposes of opposition, the portrayal of the aspects and common traits of masculinity and
femininity are separated in a normal manner. However, when one gender expects the other to do its
part and they are not satisfied with the results and demand more, things can shift from normal to
extreme fairly quickly. This demand is more commonly attributed by the men within literary works.

The pattern of the wallpaper is also significant because in a manner of speaking, it symbolizes solitary
confinement and it is almost like the room she is in is one resembling one seen in a mental institution,
or could also be considered to be a jail cell and the woman had been put behind bars; both cases would
involve desperately trying to find some way to escape and declare her freedom. Soon after her
imprisonment, and soon after her convincing herself there is another woman lurking within who is
behind the bars of the yellow wallpaper, the situation being seen as reminiscent of a would be prisoner
s captivity. When she herself desires to get out, demonstrated by her getting angry enough to do
something desperate (Gilman 1694), she shows strength and determination, which are typically very
masculine traits. However, they are dismissed with her later display of her own expected feminine
traits, such as codependency. When she tries to break free by opening the door, she cannot and keeps
telling her husband John, The key is under a plantain leaf! (Gilman 1695), alerting him to retrieve it to
unlock the door, and at long last when she breaks free, she celebrates, saying I ve got out at last
(Gilman 1695), declaring her victory over a force that kept her from the world.

Christian Meditation On God And Spending Time Essay
Every now I then I receive a letter from a subscriber on the best way to incorporate Christian
meditation into their daily devotion time with God. Including Christian meditation, into your daily
schedule can make your life so much more rewarding and fulfilling. There are numerous benefits to
meditating on God and spending time in His presence. These include developing a more intimate
relationship with Christ, eliminating worry and stress, creating a space for God to speak to our hearts,
and becoming more sensitive to the Holy Spirit to name a few.
I have tried many, many different schedules for my Morning Devotion over the years, but the one I am
about to share with you has been the best one for me. By Morning Devotion I mean the time I take
each morning before I leave for the job or work on my business. The days that I skip these activities
are usually marked with anxiety and frustration. I have reasoned that if I m too busy for God and
myself, then I m just too busy and that busyness and chaos usually ends up being a theme throughout
my entire day.
God created us spirit, soul, and body and He doesn t want us to neglect any of these areas. We neglect
our bodies when we eat poorly and don t exercise. We neglect our mind or soul when we feed it with
mental junk food instead of uplifting literature or spiritual delights, and we neglect our spirit when we
don t spend time with God being restored, renewed, and renovated. So instead of thinking just,

Japanese Culture And Japanese Business
Culture is a major aspect of daily life, whether it is in personal life or business life. The Japanese look
for a community of unity and mutual trust when engaging in many aspects of business, because they
were taught from young children to manage themselves harmoniously and cooperatively with others.
Many of the Japanese are very conservative in their culture and look for long term stability with
trusted partners in business.
Business men and women alike in Japan are well educated in doing business in the U.S. and other
countries and they try to accommodate accordingly. However, when doing business in Japan, one
should be equally prepared to respect and accommodate themselves to the Japanese business customs,
dining etiquette, meeting and greeting, and gift giving aspects. Although some people think that
Japanese culture hinders the country s business by putting restrictions on what can and cannot be done
while doing business in Japan, the Japanese culture can open doors for many international business
partners with long term business in Japan because of the country s culture background.
Management Issues in Japanese Business Culture In Japan, management styles differ from those in
many other countries. Many of the large corporations in Japan have their own management styles that
interacts with their business culture and sometimes instructions from managers can seem too vague,
which can cause confusion. Japan s large companies ensure all their employees have excellent

  • 2. Analysis Of Tupac Shakur s Song, Dear Mama The struggles of a single mother is not something everyone will fully understand. In the late 90 s there was huge poverty and gang violence in Los Angeles, California where Tupac grew up. Many of his songs reflect on how his experience was in this environment. In Tupac Shakur s song, Dear Mama found in album, Me Against the World, for a single mother to show love for her child takes a huge struggle, especially when it was a time where gang violence was really high and fathers would leave their children. Throughout the song Tupac uses imagery to capture the feeling of pain and struggle and fluently illustrate the moments where he was young, until he grew up and realized the love his mother gave him. Dear Mama is also portrayed as a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The song implements on the hardships a mother will face for the growth of their son because love is what keeps them going. The love a mother will have for her son means that even though they don t have a father figure around to show them how to grow up, they will always have their mothers to teach them the way of life through a woman s perspective. In the song, Dear Mama , Tupac mentions, For a woman it ain t easy trying to raise a man, you always was committed and he is able to foreshadow the hardships his mother had to face while Tupac was growing up without a father. At the age of seventeen Tupac, was always caught up in drama with his mom. Since Tupac was young he got involved into the hustle and was left in the streets where he basically had to risk he life every day. He never realized that being pushed into the streets would make him think about his mother or even worry about her. Tupac reflects upon the behavior he had during the time and how much stress he would add on his mother s shoulders, but little did he know that his mother would be there for him regardless. Tupac Shakur s mom was committed to his son and no matter the troubles he caused and faced she would be there for him to either help him out or at least hear him when he was not feeling good. • 3. Bohemian Beat Case Study Westside Inner City Newtown/Enmore Marching to its Own Bohemian Beat On the west side of the city, Sydney takes on a distinct vibe, one that embraces individuality, creativity and a laid back lifestyle. The neighbourhoods of Newton and Enmore exemplify this spirit with their eclectic collection of antique shops, thrift stores, throwback record shops and tattoo parlors. Candle makers, ice creameries, vegan restaurants, art galleries and petite theatres are equally at home in this bohemian area. The pulsing underground pub scene cultivates a thriving Indie music industry while avant garde boutiques and public buildings are colourfully decorated with evocative political murals. Sydneysiders descend on weekends to hunt for unique furniture and fashion, often unearthing valuable antiques for bargain prices. Traditional pubs, such as the beloved Bank Hotel on King St., are just as cherished as the intimate 1,600 seat Enmore Theatre and the hundreds of cosy cafes, bistros and restaurants spread throughout these two inner city suburbs. Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde Archetypal Analysis Jekyll and Hyde TCEAAleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Russian soldier from World War II once said: The battleline between good and evil runs through the heart of every man. The predominant archetypal theme is good and evil exist in all humans, and we live our lives struggling with these two forces. He tried hard to not to have one overpower the other, even though Hyde overpowered in the end. They especially struggled keeping their connections to each other a secret from the world. Hyde controlled the evil inside of him while talking to Dr. Lanyon: I beg your pardon, Dr. Lanyon, he replied civilly enough. Hyde s patience was running thin while talking to Dr. Lanyon. What he wanted to do was go hysterical, but had to keep his composure for the sake of the reveal of his double life. This just shows that he was capable for a long time of the balance between his good and evil. Jekyll repressed Hyde because of his high status in society. He explained And indeed the worst of my faults was a certain impatient gaiety of disposition, such as has made the happiness of many, but such as I found it hard to reconcile with my imperious desire to carry my head high, and wear a more than commonly grave countenance before the public. • 5. Reflection Essay On The Prisoners Dilemma In class Policy Making and Public Administration we played the Prisoners Dilemma, game on Novermber 8th with professor, Dr.Jorgensen . The point of this game was that, each group had to decide a color, either blue or red. Depending on the color we choose we would either add or loose points. The team who ended with the most points will win. He separate the class in two groups, Team 1 and Team 2, I was in Team 2. As a group we had to choose a representative speaker. Our representative speaker was Daniel Schawarts. He was in charge of speaking up and saying to Dr.Jorgensen what color we chose as a group. After Dr. Jorgensen split up the team, my group step out and discuss what we wanted to choose. At first we decided that we wanted to choose all blue, however someone from the group spoke up and said, maybe we should decide to put in two reds. As a team we came up with the plan to use the color red in our thirds and sixth simulation and call the rest color blue. Since Dr. Jorgensen brought some prices to give to the team who won, I realize that it made everyone more competitive to win. Therefore, at the end of the game Team 1 won. Their strategy was to choose only reds. On the other hand the reason why we choose blue was because we were hoping for the other team to choose blue, so we can gain points. As a result after playing this game we realize the Evolution of Trust plays a big role during the game. Game theory provides an interesting way of thinking about defense policy. In ... Employees are not just an expense to him, but seen as a member of the team. They live and breathe it every day. As stated by Mr. Goodnight, happy employees deliver excellent customer service, which leads to happy customers. Customers return more often, they buy more, and they tell more people, which continues the natural growth of the company. The Gallup study on why employee engagement is not getting better shed some light on the awful truth in that companies are afraid to be different and move away from old trends. They kid themselves by merely changing the words around to make it sound new. Management may think this will succeed, foster a team of engaged employees but it will only foster a greater disconnect. My motivation was to make sure I did not let my best friend down. I want my best friend to be proud of me. I would want him to see this Brandon. It wasn t until several months later that I realized I needed to stop talking to myself and start listening to myself because I can tell myself a lot of things I want to hear. In the begging there is an abstract, that states the aim of the research and the reached findings. There are 7 sections in the article. The first one is introduction, where the authors explain what results are reached and carefully introduce the readers to the structure of the article. In the next section the hypotheses is derived. After that, section 3, the variables and the data is described. The tests begin from section 4 to section 6. In those sections the authors use non parametric tests, regression analyses and vector autoregressive specifications in order to reach their results. The last section is the conclusion of the article, where the major findings are listed. The authors find that institutions prefer firms that pay dividends to ones which don t. Moreover, within dividend paying firms, institutions are not attracted to high dividends. They also find a positive relation between repurchases and institutional holdings. Their results also suggest that institutions prefer firms that repurchase regularly to firms that repurchase sporadically. They don t find evidence that an increase in institutional holdings in firms is followed by an increase in dividends or repurchases. Their article has been cited 412 times by other authors. • 13. Essay On Toronto The story of Toronto in recent decades is often framed by the rapid economy growth. And Toronto has been named to many best of lists for living quality, safety, and creativity. But this economic boom and wealth have not been evenly distributed across all regions of the city. While Toronto is normally considered as a safer city, significant crime does seriously occur in many neighborhoods. I visited the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood in Scarborough, to investigate the aging physical urban changes in inner suburban neighborhoods. and the role of social control that aging infrastructure and housing are playing in ties with concentrated poverty and urban crime. Toronto s inner suburbs were composed and constructed during the post war ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This neighborhood has seen a severe declination and deterioration in living quality which results in the loss of the middle class. Many scholars have suggested that factors such as the change in the modern thinking of living, population flow, and government policies can lead to this declination and deterioration of the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood. The flight of middle class has left this neighborhood with social disadvantage and marginalized population such as recent immigrants, single parent families, and racialized people who were unable to receive affordable accommodations elsewhere. In fact, people fail to improve their living quality due to the social segregation of poverty. In addition, it draws evidence on the issue of urban inequality in public housing, poverty concentration, and gentrification. Theoretically, the perception of urban inequality is not only about the low economic status, working class displacement and ethnic heterogeneity, but rather the quality of street spectacles, housing, and residential stability that lead to the current condition of higher crime rate. Toronto has become increasingly polarized. Referring to Hulchanski s analysis on the Toronto s three cities, the Markham and Lawrence neighborhood locates in the City#3 zone. Hulchanski has indicated the current demographic and social trend that Toronto is dividing into three cities internally due to the Social Spatial Polarization and the shrinking of the middle ... After various misunderstandings, the ultimate fall out for the pair revolved around two men, Joe McCarthy, a scoundrel both men abhorred, and George Marshall, a statesman both men widely respected. This disagreement about these two men was the great divider that set Eisenhower and Truman at war. Only after many years once Eisenhower was out of the office would the two rekindle their friendship. The duo faced many political and personal problems that led to their untimely deterioration. The first setback for the pair was during Eisenhower s acceptance speech at the Republican convention.
