Advanced Scrum: Answering the Difficult QuestionsRyan Ripley
Advanced Scrum was presented at the Path to Agility Conference 2017 and was centered around the audiences questions and concerns about their Scrum practices and implementations.

Team coaching: For the force that drives most organizationsLearningade
Teams and team coaching are the forces driving most organizations. Hence, it is important for a manager to lead by coaching his or her to perform effectively. This presentation shares some key fundamental tips to team coach toward successful performance .

How to recruit an it project manager it-toolkitsIT-Toolkits.org
Many job roles have claimed the title ‘project manager’, but in reality, are a far cry from the traditional role with overall responsibility for the planning and execution of a project. So how can you be sure you are recruiting the right person?
Most Agile adoptions put emphasis on training team members or specific roles. Having a group of “agile” teams does not provide the holistic change that is required within an organization looking to improve by adopting Agile, Scrum or Lean practices.Organizational Agility requires culture and paradigm shifts, changing the way work is approached, tackling impediments that are transparently exposed and in many cases, restructuring. Many organization leaders and managers say “this sounds great but where do I get started”? Join us for this session on how leaders can pragmatically begin the shift from traditional management to Agile management, enabling self-organization and becoming designers of the new environments that many organizations need to create in order for a successful Agile transformation.
Do you want to stand out among your peers, get noticed, and land the interview?
A resume should not list your daily responsibilities for each career you held, rather your quantifiable achievements. So, what are quantifiable achievements/accomplishments? This means being able to apply numbers to what you actually do for your place of employment.
How to Capture a Hiring Recruiter's AttentionTracy Lube
Want to capture the attention of the hiring manager? You need quantifiable and high impact statements. So, what are quantifiable achievements/accomplishments? This means being able to apply numbers to what you actually do for your place of employment. Quantifiable example included and some very helpful links.

In every large organization, there's a hierarchy of management that keeps the whole operation running smoothly. A good manager is able to blend into the background, changing small things here and there to great effect. Being a good manager is about leading by example. It's one of the toughest jobs out there — in part because you have to manage other people's expectations — and also because it's one of the least acknowledged tasks. Despite this, there are several tricks of the trade that will help you successfully manage all your responsibility, in style and with verve.
Transition from Annual Performance Evaluations to an Atmosphere of Coaching:
1) Realize the flawed nature of the performance appraisals.
2) Take the steps to get out of your current situation.
3) Identify the common threads of coaching and development.
4) Learn to identify job fit and specialized knowledge about employees.
5) Determine job fit and compatibility with co-workers.
Agile from the executive floor - defining agility in business terms - Agile P...Yuval Yeret
Many executives feel agile is something those techies do behind closed doors. This is both a misunderstanding and a major risk to achieving a real shift and impact. In this session we will talk about business agility as an existential capability in the 21st century and how lean/agile process/structure/culture achieve it. Even non-executives will learn language that will help them break the glass ceiling by getting support from those at the top.

The case study discusses the potential of drone delivery and the challenges that need to be addressed before it becomes widespread.
Key takeaways:
Drone delivery is in its early stages: Amazon's trial in the UK demonstrates the potential for faster deliveries, but it's still limited by regulations and technology.
Regulations are a major hurdle: Safety concerns around drone collisions with airplanes and people have led to restrictions on flight height and location.
Other challenges exist: Who will use drone delivery the most? Is it cost-effective compared to traditional delivery trucks?
Discussion questions:
Managerial challenges: Integrating drones requires planning for new infrastructure, training staff, and navigating regulations. There are also marketing and recruitment considerations specific to this technology.
External forces vary by country: Regulations, consumer acceptance, and infrastructure all differ between countries.
Demographics matter: Younger generations might be more receptive to drone delivery, while older populations might have concerns.
Stakeholders for Amazon: Customers, regulators, aviation authorities, and competitors are all stakeholders. Regulators likely hold the greatest influence as they determine the feasibility of drone delivery.
