Personal grooming is the term for how people take
care of their body and
appearance. Habits that are
considered personal
grooming include
bathing, dressing, applying
make-up, hair removal, and
taking care of one's teeth and
skin. A person's personal
grooming routine may determine
how he or she feels about
themselves,and how other people
perceivehim or her.
For one, personality plays an important role in one’s life.
A beautiful quoatation :
“Teaching is a profession that teaches
all the professions”
Good personality is very important for teachers as
they are the role model for their students.
A person holding a good personality must
have following things in him:
 A good hair cut (it must look descent ).
 Warm and appealing smile.
 Good attitude and firm stance.
 Good dressing.
 Correct body posture.
Encouragement for good behavior
Do you remember teaching a child how to tie his shoes?
You first showed him how to do it. Then you asked him to try
the first step. When he attempted this new task, you gave
him lots of attention and encouragement. He responded by
working even harder to please you.
This is the first step towards the good behavior of a child as
he then tries to present hisself descently.
contd……
 Good behavior influences all the qualities of a
person. Any body can estimate the persons
manners and culture with his behavior. In the
interviews also they observes the behavior of a
person while selecting a right candidate. Speaking
politely and smoothly also exhibits his behavior.
With good behavior we can win many things. So,
Speak smoothly, and politely without hurting any
body. These are the qualities of good behavior. Do
not speak rashly do not behave roughly, these
qualities are against to the good behavior.
Automatically you will get respect and recognition,
if your behavior is good.

As mentioned earlier teacher plays an
important role in student’s life.
Behavior of teacher reflects in his or her
student’s future and professional life. So
the good behavior is important for both
teacher and student.
A teacher should feel proud to be called a
teacher, this gives confidence to the
teacher and he can teach comfortably to
his students.
 Teacher should adjust his/her-self with the
prevailing situations and circumstances in this way
he or she can focus more on his or her lectures
and teaching the students.
 In the meantime, the teacher should strive for
continuous improvement in his or her knowledge.
 Teacher should use different teaching aids other
than black/white-board properly this shows that
how actively teacher gets involved in the process
of teaching.
It is important that the relation of teacher
with student must be friendly. Student must
feel free for giving any sugesstion.
There should be freedom of expression
from the teacher to students which shows
that a teacher is a broad minded
personality.
In schools, administration consists of
principal, vice principal, clerks,guards and
other technical staff.
Everyone has its own nature of job and our
attitude toward every person in
administration section is different.
Some are senior to us and some work in our
command.
 It is the demand of a good personality that you
should give respect to everyone irrespective of the
designation of the other person because in the eye
of humanity, every person has equal status.
 Meeting others with smiling face adds good to your
personality.
 Do not get offensive with others in any
circumstance or in any condition in this way you
can be in the good book of other person.
 Listen carefully to your seniors and it is
adviseable that you must have a note pad
with you to write important things.
If you are called for the meeting then you
should be well prepared to answer any
expected question and for this, homework
should me done before the meeting.
As far as the colleagues are concerned,
you may have a friendly relation with
them.
You may discuss the problems
regarding to the institution where you
work which shows your keenness for
you work and your institution.
You can have a healthy discussion about
any topic which is important as it increases
your knowledge and you can also convey
your point of view to the other colleagues.
One last important thing that you must know
how to keep separate
your personal and
professional life. Your
personal life should not
affect your professional
life.
Count the number of true and false
answers. The more false answers
you have, the better attitude you tend
to have. If you have many true
answers.
1)Think positive thoughts, both about
yourself and others in general.
thoughts that we think soon turn into the
words we say and the actions we take.
Having good thoughts about yourself gives
you self-confidence and self-respect:
hallmark of any strong personality. Once
you become aware of your own thoughts
the process of guiding it in the right
direction through positive thoughts will
become effortless.
2)Never lose a chance to project your true self.
In our day to day life, we came across several
opportunities which could help our self in defining
our personality. For example, if you are in a
conversation with a group or a individual, you must
talk in a way that you can prove others what you
are really and it does not matter if you say a line or
a speech. The thing which will matter is the words
of you, whether they were able to leave an impact
on others or not. So the endeavour is always being
true to yourself
3)Look for famous people whose
personality defined them.
Athletes, artists, actors, and musicians are
people who face challenges in their careers
everyday. They need to have patience and
perseverance in order to succeed. Many of
them are humble in spite of their success and
fame. These are life skills which if learned
correctly can culminate in the creation of a
good personality.
4)Look deep inside yourself and think
about who you are.
It's one of the most difficult thing to do,yet
many people find themselves to be better
than apparent by reflection.
5) Help wherever and whenever you can.
A little sacrifice can go along way in
changing another person's day.
6) Always be yourself.
If you are following some famous personality
or you are being just you. Make sure that
you never lose yourself. It means that you
have to stick to that behavior every time.
Feel it in your blood.
7) Learn to love other people.
Many bad personalities come about
because people do not want to forgive
each other and thus, become filled with so
much interpersonal hate that they hate
other people. This makes them come off
as bad and self-centered when all they
lack is the insight to forgive and forget
whatever may be the root of conflict
between them.
