What is an Etiquette?
 It means to follow the right code of conduct
 It actually means to identify ‘what is right?’
and ‘what is wrong?’
 It means doing only right kind of things.
 It also means to prevent someone from doing
the wrong things.

What is an Etiquette?
 The forms and practices prescribed by social
convention or by authority.
 It makes you uniquely identified from the
crowd.
 It gets you an unique identity.
 Etiquette is to show positive attitude.

Professional Etiquettes for students in
IMRD
 Standing up and say ‘Good
Morning’ when teacher arrives
in the class.
 Keeping your Mobile phones in
‘Off’ mode

 Demonstrate respect for your classmates
and the teachers at all times.
 Be ready to begin work when class is
scheduled to begin. (Taking notes etc.)
 Bring all necessary materials—course texts
and documents, notebook, pen or pencil.

 Do not eat or disturb others in class during a
class
 Pay attention to the Lectures in the class.
Taking proper notes helps to increase
concentration.
 You are encouraged to take an active role in
discussion, to ask relevant questions and to
answer questions asked by the teachers

 Prepare for class so that you can participate
 Avoid speaking when you are in the classes
 Turn Mobile /Cellular phones off in the class

 Arrive on time to classes means sharp @ 8
a.m. in the class room
 Wishing your friends and teacher in morning.

 Grooming is fundamental. It simply means
how neatly and cleanly you appear. It
includes your dressing sense as well as
attitude.
 Clean Hair and also proper styled.
 Clean Nails, Skin and Teeth too.
 Wear Uniform with shoes as instructed.
