their code so that you may
apply it to what you’re
working on!
• Great for those who have
some experience in coding,
not just mean for those who
are advanced.
• Not the most user friendly for those with
no experience with writing code. There
is no drop-down menu to conduct an
analysis on data. Everything you want it
to do requires the user to input a
command.
• Though you have more maneuverability,
it isn’t the most powerful when having to
deal with very large sets of data.

like.

Minitab are very good and useful
when preparing presentation on
one’s findings
• Now have an “Interactive
Assistant” that guides the user
through their analysis.
• Statistical analysis are
performed through the use of
drop-down menu and input
boxes.
• Navigating and utilizing the software
does require some learning. Must have
some statistical knowledge to effectively
use.
• Not as widely used as other statistical
software so knowing how to use it is a
good skill but is widely asked for.

experience with coding.
• Though they are very powerful
and can used for many things,
it doesn’t allow as much
freedom as open-source
software.
