The camera recognizes objects around a person instantly, with the micro-projector overlaying the information on any surface, including the object itself or hand. Gesture Based Interface Using Motion and Image Comparisonijait
This paper gives a new approach for movement of mouse and implementation of its functions using a real time camera. Here we propose to change the hardware design. Most of the existing technologies mainly depend on changing the mouse parts features like changing the position of tracking ball and adding more buttons. We use a camera, colored substance, image comparison technology and motion detection technology to control mouse movement and implement its functions (right click, left click, scrolling and double click) .
The most of the technical challenges for the society to detect and find a solution for visually impaired, with increased security and service motto towards the society helped to bring a solution which would help the visually impaired in the industries and other companies. Here we had come out with a prototype as a way of finding a solution to the visually impaired. The navigation assistant technology using RFID Tag Grid minimizes the dependency. The reader used in this system is embedded in the mobile and shoes to avoid dependency on travel. The RFID reader matches with the information specified to that ID and a voice signal is generated. Wireless RF links is placed in the Bluetooth device/ headphone for voice guidance. The proximity sensing unit is an auxiliary unit is added as a solution to address unexpected and non-mapped obstacles in the user’s path. Basically it contains ultrasonic Sensor Unit interfaced with microcontroller which is inter-linked to a vibrator that would be activated when nearing obstacles. This system is technically and economically feasible and may offer a maximum benefit to the disabled.

The sensor data may be remotely recorded, such as video, radar, or other wireless methods. It contains data generated from accelerometer, gyroscope and other sensors of Smart phone to train supervised predictive models using machine learning techniques like SVM , Random forest and decision tree to generate a model. Which can be used to predict the kind of movement being carried out by the person, which is divided into six categories walking, walking upstairs, walking down-stairs, sitting, standing and laying?
MLM and SVM achieved accuracy of more than 99.2% in the original data set and 98.1% using new feature selection method. Results show that the proposed feature selection approach is a promising alternative to activity recognition on smart phones.
A MATLAB-web interface that makes the security system completely automated and works on facial expression recognition, wherein upon sensing any trace of fear on the woman's face (image captured by a setup of 2 cameras), an alarm is set off that accesses the geo-location of the crime region and alert messages and emails are sent to the police stations nearby immediately by the server.

A 3- dimensional Smartphone sensor named accelerometer and gyroscope is used to collect time series signal, from which 26 features are generated in time and frequency domain. The activities are classified using 2 different dormant learning method i.e. k-nearest neighbor algorithm, decision tree algorithm.

Haar like technique has been utilized as a classifier that is creditworthy for locating hand position and classifying gesture. The patterning of gestures has been done for recognition by mapping the number of defects that is formed in the hand with the assigned gestures. The virtual objects are produced using Open GL library. This hand gesture recognition technique aims to substitute the use of mouse for interaction with the virtual objects. This will be useful to promote controlling applications like virtual games, browsing images etc in virtual environment using hand gestures.

Sixth Sense is a gesture-based wearable computer interface system developed at MIT Media Lab by Steve Mann in 1994 and in 1997 head worn gestural interface was developed, and in 1998 neck worn version , was developed and further Pranav Mistry from MIT MEDIA LAB developed hardware and software for head worn and neck worn versions in the year of 2009. It connects the physical world with digital world around us .It consists of hardware components connected wirelessly to the computing peripherals. 'Sixth Sense' is a wearable gestural interface that augments the physical world around us with digital Information and lets us use natural hand gestures to interact with that information. All of us are aware of the five basic senses - seeing, feeling, smelling,
tasting and hearing. But there is also another sense called the sixth sense. Sixth Sense Technology is the science of tomorrow with the aim of connecting the digital world with the physical world seamlessly, eliminating hardware devices.This combination of devices and software together create a reality in which the digital world is merged with the physical world.
'SixthSense' is a wearable gestural interface that augments the physical world around us with digital information and lets us use natural hand gestures to interact with that information.
SixthSense is a gestural interface device comprising a neckworn pendant that contains both a data projector and camera. Headworn versions were also built at MIT Media Lab in 1997 that combined cameras and illumination systems for interactive photographic art, and also included gesture recognition (e.g. finger-tracking using colored tape on the fingers).

The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
