2. Establishing Shot:
It is usually the first shot of a new
scene, designed to show the
audience where the action is taking
place.
Point of view shot:
This shows what a character (the
subject) is looking at (represented
through the camera).
Over shoulder Shot:
This shot is framed from behind a person
who is looking at he subject. The person
facing the camera usually occupies about
1/3 of the frame.
Two Shot:
Where two people are involved in one
shot, It is often used in interviews or
when two presenters are hosting a
show.
3. Cut in Shot:
Shows some of the object in detail.
High angle shot:
Shows the subject from above. Has
the effect of diminishing the object,
making them seem less powerful.
Low angle shot:
Camera is facing upwards to the subject
often to show power or rank.
Close up:
A certain feature or part of a object
takes up most of the screen
4. Extreme close up:
Where the camera focuses on a certain
feature or certain part of an object for
emphasis
Shallow Focus (small DOF):
When only a part of the clip is in
focus.
Deep Focus:
where both the foreground and the
background is in focus.
Long shot:
Where you can clearly see all of the
person or object on the screen.
