An establishing shot is the first shot of a new scene and shows the audience where the action takes place. A point of view shot shows what a character is looking at from their perspective. An over shoulder shot frames a person looking at a subject from behind, with the subject occupying about 1/3 of the frame. A two shot includes two people in the frame and is often used for interviews or when two people are hosting a show.
