and Cloud
Introduction
 IT architecture comprised of social, mobile, analytics and cloud
technologies collectively known as SMAC.
 SMAC creates an ecosystem that allows a business to improve its
operations and get closer to the customer with minimal overhead and
maximum reach.
 Social media has provided businesses with new ways to reach
and interact with customers
 Mobile technologies have changed the way people communicate,
shop and work.
 Analytics allow businesses to understand how, when and where
people consume certain goods and services
 Cloud computing provides a new way to access technology and
the data a business needs to quickly respond to changing markets
and solve business problems
Trends
 Each of the four technologies can impact a business individually, their
convergence is proving to be a disruptive. force that is creating entirely new
business model for service providers.
 One of the key changes over time, throughout all these evolutions, has
been the exponentially increasing processing power of computers, and the
steady growth in the number of computing devices, applications and users.
 Today’s customers and employees, particularly digital natives, are
expecting a new style of commerce, content and collaboration that’s social-
, mobile-, analytics-, and cloud-enabled. They’re looking for the same
anytime, anywhere, and any-device convenience that they’re familiar with
in their personal lives through applications from companies such as
Amazon and Facebook. In terms of device usage, the “mobile elite” in the
workforce currently utilize three or more personal devices for work and this
number will only increase as wearable devices such glasses and watches
add to end user options.

 For example, when a Netflix member streams a TV show from the Netflix
cloud to their iPad, they are given the option of signing into Netflix with
Facebook's social login . After viewing a show, members are given
multiple ways to provide social feedback. They can rate content with
stars, write reviews and/or share what they just watched with friends on
Facebook or Twitter. Customer data is stored in the cloud and Netflix can
break down its analysis to such a granular a level that its
recommendation engine can personalize suggestions for individual
family members who share the same account, a concept known as 1:1
marketing.

New Business model
(S)-Creation of creative advertisement and posting about products
regularly and create a buzz about this new advertisement of online store
(M)-Creation of new user friendly mobile app.
(A)-Use of consumer generated content to drive analysis around users
tastes in products.
(C)-Creation of new solution using cloud technology to keep capital
costs low and move to operational costs model.
 If given an internship, I will work on user experience and mobile app for
easy access and user friendly application interaction between customer
and service provider

Introduction  IT architecture comprised of social, mobile, analytics and cloud technologies collectively known as SMAC.  SMAC creates an ecosystem that allows a business to improve its operations and get closer to the customer with minimal overhead and maximum reach.  Social media has provided businesses with new ways to reach and interact with customers  Mobile technologies have changed the way people communicate, shop and work.  Analytics allow businesses to understand how, when and where people consume certain goods and services  Cloud computing provides a new way to access technology and the data a business needs to quickly respond to changing markets and solve business problems

Trends  Each of the four technologies can impact a business individually, their convergence is proving to be a disruptive. force that is creating entirely new business model for service providers.  One of the key changes over time, throughout all these evolutions, has been the exponentially increasing processing power of computers, and the steady growth in the number of computing devices, applications and users.  Today’s customers and employees, particularly digital natives, are expecting a new style of commerce, content and collaboration that’s social- , mobile-, analytics-, and cloud-enabled. They’re looking for the same anytime, anywhere, and any-device convenience that they’re familiar with in their personal lives through applications from companies such as Amazon and Facebook. In terms of device usage, the “mobile elite” in the workforce currently utilize three or more personal devices for work and this number will only increase as wearable devices such glasses and watches add to end user options.

After viewing a show, members are given multiple ways to provide social feedback. They can rate content with stars, write reviews and/or share what they just watched with friends on Facebook or Twitter. Customer data is stored in the cloud and Netflix can break down its analysis to such a granular a level that its recommendation engine can personalize suggestions for individual family members who share the same account, a concept known as 1:1 marketing.
