Seven Pounds ,[object Object],Will Smith is wearing both colours and the half of his face is in low-key lighting, while the other half is in high-key lighting. This could illustrate the fact that the main character may have a dark past or a double personality, which makes the film appear to be even more enticing. The word seven is repeated in the poster, in both the title and the tagline in red. This allows audiences to remember the film long after viewing the poster seeming as the title of the film is emphasised so much. The red also makes the word ‘seven’ stand out’.

Seven Pounds ,[object Object],The date of release is also kept as a mystery seeming as the poster states that the film “coming soon”, but it doesn’t tell us what date. Things like this just make the audience want to watch the film even more seeming as the mystery element of the poster makes audiences agitated. The use of the colours black and white could also represent evil and darkness.
