BASIC SETTINGS

The integration of Recruitment to Personnel Administration affects the
following areas:

•Transfer employee data to the applicant database
      Necessary settings have been made in this step for feature PRELI.

•Transfer applicant data to the employee database

Transfer of applicant data to the employee database can either be carried out
from Recruitment or from Personnel Administration. (Necessary settings have
been made in feature PRELR)

Vacancies are published in advertisements.
Advertisements are transaction data and are created and maintained by the
user. Recruitment instruments and media are set up during configuration.
This is followed by creation of

•Media
•Recruitment Instruments
APPLICANT ADMINISTRATION
In this section all the necessary settings are made for administration of
applicant data.




     Personnel officer for Recruitment has been created as part of
     administrator group .
In Recruitment applicants have been classified according to the
 following criteria:

 •    Applicant group

     •Applicant range

• Unsolicited application group/Advertisement
Applicant Selection
Two types of selection procedure take place in the Recruitment system:

• a global selection procedure i.e. Campus Recruitment


• a selection procedure for each vacancy i.e. Recruitment through
consultant
The decision is reflected in the applicant status, of which there are
  two types to correspond to the two types of selection procedure:


  • Overall status



• Vacancy assignment status
Personnel Events in Recruitment :

  A function that groups together infotypes for processing
personnel procedures - In recruitment .

Business Procedures in Recruitment for Personnel
Administration

 When managing employee data the following tasks can perform

• Hiring an employee
• Organizational reassignment
• Leaving the company
Hiring an employee :

When assigning a new employee in a company, we have to enter large
amount of data for employee into the system.

•In HR different types of employee data are stored in infotypes.


•When hiring an employee, we need to maintain lot of infotypes,


• Hiring can be carried out using a personnel event.
Organizational reassignments :

• Important changes in an employee's career path must be
documented in the system.

•Consequently, the standard SAP system contains the personnel
event Organizational reassignment.


• When you run this personnel event, the system will automatically
offer you the infotypes that you need to maintain.
Leaving the company :

• When the employee leaves the company, certain infotypes cannot be
changed .

• The personnel event Leaving is used to depict an employee leaving the
company in the system.

• This event gives the infotypes for maintaining the data of when an
employee leaves the company.
