Of course not everybody in the world likes to talk about exactly what they are feeling or thinking

book The Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie, the main character (who doesn t ever reveal
his name to the audience, so is simply called the Narrator), comes off as an especially closed off
character specifically in the beginning half of the story. He rarely ever speaks what he is
actually thinking, which makes him a kind of difficult character to relate to. The Little

Next to the Sun, the moon is the most recognizable object in the night sky, and is Earth s only
natural satellite. It has been estimated that the moon formed somewhere in the region of 4.45
billion years ago, just a measly 30 50 million years after the origination of the Solar System. While
there are many hypotheses that try to account for the formation of the moon, the one that is backed
the greatest is the theory that the moon was formed when a large mass roughly the size of Mars
collided with the newly formed Earth, this sending out planetary material into the same orbit of
the Earth. This material then underwent the process of accretion and formed what we now know
as the moon. With modern laser altimetry, scientists have been able to accurately measure the
topography of the moon. The most apparent topographic feature on the moon is located on the
southern pole, is referred to as the Aitken basin, and stretches nearly 1400 miles in diameter. This
is the largest crater on the moon and the largest known crater in the Solar System. Not only is this
the widest crater on the moon, but its floor is also the lowest point on the surface of the moon.
The dark spots that are visible with the naked eye are called maria, and they are actually hardened

the party to meet some girls while Enn is more shy and apprehensive about talking to girls.
When they finally find the party Vic goes off to mingle with a girl named Stella and Enn meets
some very unique girls who tell him stories about traveling the universe and swimming in the

I recently read a news article that almost seemed like satire to me. It was about how a
Connecticut town s diversity council held an essay contest and its prompt was to discuss how
white privilege had impacted the lives of people in the town. As you could expect from a
predominantly white, suburban town, the essay contest received backlash. The public was
outraged and became defensive. One of the people in the town is quoted in saying, There are no

one that is safe. If he makes the safe and popular choice, he knows he will regret it and always
wonder what would have happened. If he makes the unpredictable choice, the one that is chosen
less, he will follow his heart, and find his treasure. Santiago decides, and is following his heart
through his journey to the Pyramids to find his treasure. In the novel, The Alchemist, by Paulo

While I find it rather creative to imagine a skunk and a coyote to conspire together to murder
prairie dogs and rabbits, and although I feel I am doing a disservice to hundreds of years of
Navaho storytellers, I am going to attempt to creatively edit parts of the story Coyote, Skunk,
and Prairie Dogs as a written works, and retool it so that it makes more sense as a modern

Whose the Sinner and Whose the Saint? Why do these characters in the Scarlet Letter have a
good and evil side to them? This question is what most readers ask themselves when reading the
Scarlet Letter. While I read this book, I felt that you could pick out whom Hawthorne was trying
to depict as sinner and a saint. This book is a perfect example of the argument that people have
now a day that everyone has a good and a bad side. All of these characters have good and evil in
them and there perfect examples in this book. Light and dark imagery, alluding to the larger conflict
between good and evil, is present throughout the novel in the characters of Hester Prynne, Pearl, and
This quote talks about how important Pearl is to Hester after her birth. Pearl is kind of the only
warmth Hester truly receives until the end of the book. As I, stated early people were offended that
Hester was keeping the identity of the man; she had an affair with more than the sin itself. Pearl is
Hester s one true treasure, hence the name Pearl. Or some of such half fledged angel of
judgment, whose mission was to punish the sins of the rising generation. (Hawthorne 94). This
quote is my favorite quote describing anyone character in this whole book. This quote truly
makes you feel that Pearl was there to punish Hester for her sins. Throughout the book, you see
Pearl kind of harassing Hester and I believe that this is a perfect quote to describe those actions.
Pearl not knowing who her father was is another reason why she was so scared of Roger
Chillingworth. Chillingworth seemed to be the character that was put in the book to not like, but
had so many phenominal quotes that state why he is good and evil. Hawthorne writes, He
bequeathed a very considerable amount of property, both here and in England (237). This quote
shows how much he cared for Pearl. Even though he knew from the beginning that Pearl was not
his, he still treated her as his own child, which was about the only nice characteristic about him.
