Meaning Of Symbolic Interactionism
When an interaction of this kind appears,It is safe to say that we have a language and a meaning. A
symbol is something which stays for something else, for example words refers to objects.
(Giddens,p22) However,in order such an interaction to occur, all the participants must understand the
meanings of the symbols used by them altogether. Just as like in a theatre hall, dramaturgical
perspective interprets a social encounter as a stage and the social participants as actors and
audience. The actor takes on a certain role in front of an observing audience. The roles indicates the
actors` social positions, but also marks audience`s expectations towards him/her. The possession of
meaning according to Mead is a privilege accessible only to advanced animals such as the human
beings.Meaning is a prerequisite for action in this case.In other words, meaning and action are
interrelated in an interaction as meaning may be before action, but the latter confirms for the initiated
meaning. The act of adjustive response of the second organism, gives to the gesture of the first ... the
meaning which it has. (Mead p.71) Thus can me implied that meaning and action are the essentials for
a symbolic interaction. I and me constitute the essential mechanism for an individual to act. However
in terms of function, they have a clearly opposite one. Me is that part of a person, which alarms for how
this person should react,in this sense it is his/her

Myers Briggs Type Indicator Of Personality
Myers Briggs Type Indicator
Personality is a challenging trait to measure and many personality tests do not stand the test of time
once they are applied and researched. Why then, do we find it important to measure personality?
Isabel Briggs Myers once said It is up to each person to recognize his or her true preferences. I find
this statement to be true in theory and in practice. In today s social media, one of the most common
online quizzes or assessments I come across, is personality test. There appears to be countless ways to
find out one s personality type, but many have not been proven true or accurate. The Myers Briggs
Type Indicator, also known as the MBTI and it is a well known and established, personality inventory.
It is a way to do, as Isabel Briggs Myers said, to find and know your own preferences. The MBTI is
based on Carl Jung theories of personality types and commonly used today. It was developed by the
mother daughter team of Katharine Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers in order to assess personality
types. The MBTI was published in 1975 by the Consulting Psychologists Press, Inc. (The Myers
Briggs Foundation Isabel Briggs Myers 2014).
Test Description
The MBIT was meant to coincide with Jung s four dichotomies which Katharine Briggs and Isabel
Myers followed. After a great deal of research, they came up with a self report instrument with
questions on four separate dichotomies (Myers, Creation of the MBTI® Types, 2011). Much like Jung,

College Free Tuition Should Not Be Free
College Free Tuition Education is one of the best ways to succeed; however not everyone has access
to it and not everyone has the opportunity to have a degree. After high school a lot of students drop out
because the college tuitions are too expensive; they can t afford them. A couple weeks ago, president
Obama came with a proposition in which to make community college free for students because more
jobs will require a degree in the future. The program will concern the students who are serious. It
means, in order to qualify, the students have to maintain a 2.5 grade point average C+, and they have
to be full time and be able to transfer to a 4 years college. Other people believe that community
college should not be free because of the following reasons; the program extends the welfare and
encourages people to depend on government and not everyone needs to go to college. A study of the
arguments will show that community college education should be free. According to Linda Conner
Lambeck article, The job expectation in the coming years will require at least an associate s degree are
projected to grow twice as fast as jobs requiring no college experience. The United States needs more
college graduates in other to improve the economy. So making the community college free for
students it is one of the best ways to start growing the economy. If in upcoming years the country
doesn t have enough of educated people to fulfill the important place, it will be a disaster for the

Peripheral Nerve Complications
The incidence of hoarseness was 11% after PACU discharge and lasted a mean of 2 days. The etiology
of these symptoms was not formally established. It is possible that symptoms were due to prolonged
block of the phrenic and recurrent laryngeal nerves. (Liu et al, 2010). Borgeat et al 2001, in a
prospective study of ISB using a nerve stimulator concluded that one patient with Marfan disease
(0.2%) suffered pneumothorax. 0.2%of cases had episode of central nervous system toxicity in the
form of incoherent speech. Aspiration of blood was encountered in 0.5%of patients but no hematoma
was subsequently observed. Nerve injury after brachial plexus anesthesia varied from 0 to more than
5%. (Borgeat et al, 2001). Peripheral nerve complications are generally directly attributed to the
performance of the block itself, but this concept was challenged by Selander et al 1979, who indicated
that other factors may be responsible as well. (Selander et al, 1979). In 1974 Ward reported an
incidence of 3% of symptomatic pneumothorax after ISB by paraesthesia blind technique. The
pneumothorax was almost certainly produced by the prior attempt to carry out a supraclavicular block,

The Taiping Rebellion In China During The 19th Century
The Taiping Rebellion occurred in China during the 19th century, specifically during the time period
of 1850 1864. It is cited as being the largest and most successful rebellion that occurred during the
19th century. The two forces that were a part of this rebellion were the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom,
also known as the Hakka s, and the Qing dynasty, also known as the Manchus. The main cause of the
rebellion was that Hong Xiuquan, a Hakka and the main leader of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom,
received a vision that he was the brother of Jesus and was sent to overthrow the Qing dynasty. Other
causes included minority rule and economic issues, such as farmers getting overtaxed. In this paper, I
will discuss the goals of the rebellion, revitalization ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A messianic movement is a movement that emphasizes the participation of a divine savior in human
flesh in the mazway transformation (Wallace 1956). There is no doubt that the rebellion wasn t a
messianic movement. Xiuquan himself said that he was sent to get rid of the evils. He preached the
Bible to the citizens and told them to abide by a Christian lifestyle. Xiuquan created the Heavenly
Kingdom on earth (Class Notes). This was the capital and the epicenter of the rebellion. The main
focal point of the rebellion. The western world only cared about the Taiping Rebellion because it could
only benefit them after it was all said and done. Western governments only cared if the Taiping s could
have a stable, well planned government to trade with (Gray 72). If the Taiping s could do that, then
western governments would get out all religious restrictions. This was a big issue with the British
Board of Trade, they only wanted to trade with them. Also, Hakka s didn t like you and wanted you
dead if you supported the Qing dynasty. If a western country supported the Qing dynasty, the Hakka s

Control characters are used when sending data to a printer, monitor, modem, or other device. XOFF
(usually referenced by CTRL+S) is used by the transmitting side at the end of the data pulsed to say
that the transmission batch is complete. XON (usually referenced by CTRL+Q) is used to start the
transmission, and is found at the beginning of the data pulse. (ComputerHope, 2004)
Simplex and duplex
A simplex data transmission is only sent one way and without control characters or error signals. An
example of a simplex transmission would be the alarm codes that are sent to officials at a burglar
alarm company.
A half duplex transmission can send a signal and then receive a signal, but cannot send and receive at
the same time. An example would be a CB radio that can send a message, and then listen for the
response.
A duplex data transmission is capable of sending and receiving data at the same time. A telephone line
is an example of a full duplex transmission system. (Eserver, 2004)
Serial and parallel transmission
Serial transmission is the consecutive transmission of the signal. The characters are transmitted in a
sequence over a single line, rather than simultaneously over two or more lines, as in parallel
transmission.
Parallel transmission are packets of data sent at the same time, usually over more than one
transmission line. This results in faster transmission of data. Many times, this data is sent sporadically,
and start and stop

Argumentative Essay On RAW
I haven t watched a full episode of RAW in over three months. I catch up by way of clips on Twitter,
and I skim through Hulu s already abridged version. I spend most of my time perusing the promos, the
skits, and whatever vignettes there may be. I cram the broad strokes of the larger narratives so I can
pass whatever WWE quiz comes my way. With SmackDown included, I ve condensed my WWE
viewership into about thirty minutes a week. And if there s a pay per view, then that duration
increases. The result is that I m a much happier human being, and I m a lot easier to be around. I don t
obsess about booking decisions. I don t bicker with anyone online. I don t care about anyone s

of whether they should or not is a part of pro wrestling s appeal. I understand and respect that
devotion, even if it gives me pause at the same time. But extremes aren t as useful in the long term.
That degree of constant engagement weighs on all human minds. It affects one s ability to calmly and
coherently witness what they re experiencing. In any diehard environment, criticism becomes
unreliable because critical thinking doesn t exist. This problem is why I ve found stepping away from
watching and critiquing RAW so useful. When I turned RAW on last night before bed, I saw aspects of
the show that I d always criticized in a new light. My general perspective hadn t changed, of course. I
didn t all the sudden enjoy segments I used to hate and hate the ones I used to enjoy. But I could

How I Taught My Friend Essay
My friend Ling asked me to help her with her English pronunciation at the beginning of this year. I
tutored her for two weeks and we did not have very official tutoring time; so mostly, we
communicated in English and I corrected her whenever I spotted a mistake. She is a Chinese girl who
comes from Chengdu, and she has problems producing some of the sounds. For example, she always
pronounces six as sex , which ultimately made her come to me since it kept embarrassing her. I first
taught her some basic pronouncing rules, and then we began the spotting then correcting session. After
reading Wiggins (2012) article about feedback, I think the way that I taught my friend was to have her
learn from the feedback. For example, one day when we were in Mexico City, we were talking about
how to make her pronunciation better.
She said, I don t know why I cannot prolounce (pronounce) certain sounds .
Then I corrected her, it s pronounce, not prolounce. It s an n not an L .
Then she tried, pro~l~oun~ce .
No, it s pro~n~oun~ce , I corrected her again.
Pronounce? Pronounce? , she looked at me with her eyes widely opened.
Yeah , I said.
But I cannot figure it out. What s the difference? she asked.
People in southern China always have difficulty differentiate N from L . So I taught her the two
sounds different tongue positions in the mouth. Then she became better but there were still times she
mispronounced them. I told her to be careful with these sounds for the

Telecommunications of Tomorrow
Telecommunications of Tomorrow
Introduction to an All Connected world:
Over the past few decades technology has vastly improved where a new era has dawned for mankind,
the Information age . This is an age where technology has become the very foundation of our daily
lives, where humanity can literally span and communicate the vast world with just a touch of a button.
Today, technology never ceases to evolve, and as such has continued to change how we live, and how
we connect with one another.
The Future is happening now:
Technology is everywhere, the world is connected through the web each and every second, and these
past several years saw an enourmous spike in internet connectivity: Number of internet users between
the years 2007 to 2012
This would mean that nearly a third of the entire world has access to networks that could give them a
means to work, play and also communicate anytime and anywhere they want.
What is the rate of growth in the next few years?
By 2016, it is forecasted that the annual global IP traffic is 1.3 zettabytes (or
1,300,000,000,000,000,000,000 bytes). This would mean that the significant growth in traffic was
driven by a number of factors, such as:
The growing number of devices: Tablets, mobile phones, and other smart devices as well as machine
to machine (M2M) connections are rising rapidly with a very high demand for connectivity, it is
estimated that 18.9 billion network connections will be registered during 2016, over a 53% increase

The QA report had close to 50 action points in the project management space, which was another
critical issue if had been identified early on in the project could have made matters better. Though the
steering committee was created to solve the issues related to IAA implementation and the estimation
of cost and resources, the steering committee was successful in pin pointing the issues but not
addressing the issues. The steering committee was formed to address the issues faced by the project, it
was unable to exercise its role due to the absence of clear information, technical nature of the debates
made it harder for the steering committee to engage, lack of clarity with the hierarchical structure of
power made it all the more difficult to address the issues.
Lack of project management clarity: the planning activity had lot of material but lacked content, clear
action items and lack of consensus on the milestones. The difficulties in the project only increased
with time and a more performance driven style would have kept things on track if introduced early on.
The lesser factors were that the contract did not have comprehensive risk transfer from NU to IBM,
making it important for the project to work for NU, in turn reducing the performance levels of IBM.
There was lack of involvement from NU with IBM prior to the finalization of the contract to
understand the milestones IBM had in mind and the feasibility of the methodologies followed by IBM.

Apathy According To The Dalai Lama
How does the Dalai Lama define apathy? Using this definition, discuss how apathy might manifest at
following energy centers: Root, Sacral, Solar, Heart and Throat. Be sure to provide supporting details
and examples.
According to the Dalai Lama, apathy is a form of selfishness that stems from concentrating solely
within our inner development. Apathy occurs when we lose connection to the problems to societal and
global problems. This includes being aware of these issue both also indifferent to them as they may
not affect us directly. The Dalai Lama suggests that we approach ethics with global responsibility,
which essentially indicates that we must be aware of and willing to appreciate about the environment

Byronic hero, Don Juan. The poem has been viewed as nihilistic and immoral. Actually there is plenty
present in the first canto to show morality and hope for humanity. The poem should be viewed as the

Byron pokes fun at the hypocritical nature of people. An overabundant curiosity in other s affairs is
certainly looked down upon yet it is rampant among people. Thus within in one sentence Byron points
this idea out; people say one thing yet do another. This problem is central to what Byron sees as wrong
with society, the basic hypocritical nature of people. There is truth to his thinking and by directing the
reader to notice this, he can be said to be wanting to change that. Change usually does not occur until
the fault is presented outright. Indeed, one form taken by the philosophic irony underlying the first
canto suggests that cant and hypocrisy may endanger the very continuity of civilized tradition
(Bostetter 22).
The narrator, using his particular talent in prying in people s affairs feels fit to speak of Juan s
upbringing. Instead of quarreling, had they been but both in,/ Their senses, they d have sent young
master forth/ To school, or had him soundly whipp d at home,/ To teach him manners for the time to
come (Byron 197 200). This presents a sort of paradox the reader may find it immoral for the narrator
to judge Juan s parents and yet without this view Juan s later episodes would have less meaning
behind them; for we would not know the reasons behind his behavior. Perhaps we would find the
narrator s opinion of Juan s parents biased. Therefore we are told more of their immoral behavior.
They lived an unhappy sort of life,/ Wishing each other,

can be explained as follows:
Industries in the Accommodation subsector provide lodging or short term accommodations for
travelers, vacationers, and others. There is a wide range of establishments in these industries. Some
provide lodging only; while others provide meals, laundry services, and recreational facilities, as well
as lodging. Lodging establishments are classified in this subsector even if the provision of

Over the years famous hotels were built and renovated while keeping their history and sophisticated
charm.
Levy Bonvin (2003) stated that the early years of the twentieth century were rich in new hotels which
rapidly became prestigious . Numerous hotels were established during this time, not only in cities but
also in mountains. Hotel chains also became more attentive to their guests needs and wishes by
increasing their range of services. During the 1980 s, hotel trends evolved even more with the
construction of airport hotels, ski resorts and with the introduction of property management systems.
Technology made its greatest impact during the nineties with the use of check in and check out
procedures of the global reservation systems. This burst of technology increased the industries status
with its customers, for they were now able to market their products better and satisfy the needs of their
average guests.
There are a variety of different hotels; these include airports, resorts, extended stays and casinos.
These hotels are classified based on the hotel size, location, target market, levels of service and
number of rooms they have. The hotel industry is one of the largest and most diverse industries in the

This quote demonstrates that Sethe s chokecherry tree scar on her back was resulted by the men who

King David And Palm 23
Palm 23 is a poem that is rich in history but also carries timeless advice that can and should be carried
into eternity. The poem s narrator is King David who formally served as a humble shepherd. He
references sheeps relationships with their shepherd in order to share wisdom about following the Lord.
Sheep have one job (besides unconsciously growing wool) and that is to follow their shepherd and this
parallels to man s relationship with God for he is commanded to follow God and will be rewarded for
his obedience in doing so.

He did not shy away from the hard fact that life is hard and can be brutal beyond words can express.
But he claimed truth and authority over evil by calling out to his shepherd and stating that he would be
alright even during the darkest of times because he knew God would be with him. Humans today
should heed his advice for our world really is dealing with hard things such as cancer, shootings,
accidents etc. just to name a few. Without God s help and presence mankind does not stand a chance.
Also much like a good shepherd knows what his sheep gets anxious about God knows that about his
people today too. He knows what makes each individual smile, laugh, cry, and shake with terror. But
because of His almighty power and love for the world he promises to restore souls and calm anxious
hearts. Man can find comfort knowing that if Jesus Christ is His Lord and Savior he will go to Heaven
and no pain in this word can compare to what there is to look forward to.
The wisdom that King David shares in Psalm 23 will always be applicable. The world dealt with the
same struggles in Biblical times as people do now just in different forms. David s advice to follow the
Lord as a sheep would follow its shepherd should be taken seriously and intentionally followed
through with. It is impossible to go through life and live it well without following the one who leads

Julius Caesar In the play Julius Caesar by Shakespeare, Shakespeare is telling his readers that people

help themselves. Brutus only cares about himself although he claims he cares for Rome and the
people. Cassius persuades Brutus to turn against Caesar, because he is worried of Caesars rising

his speech at the senate s house; the conspirators come to kill him. Each of them take their turn and

Brutus had stabbed and betrayed him. During Brutus s funeral speech he says not that I loved Caesar

prevention, and/or with the use of medications. Exposure is repeatedly exposing the subject to a
trigger of obsession. If a person is afraid of getting sick, they would expose themselves by sitting in a
hospital. Response prevention is asking the patient to refuse contributing to their compulsive behavior.
The behavior they perform is to reduce rising anxiety levels, but while participating in ERP the patient
will experience levels of anxiety while facing the fear. In the hospital situation, the patient would have
to refuse leaving or excessive handwashing. Since OCD habits are usually created out of anxiety or
distress the use of anti anxiety medications are commonly used to suppress anxiety. Without the
anxiety, the need for a compulsive behavior is not as strong. Cognitive treatment was formed to
redirect misrepresented cognitions that might persist having not been considered or dealt with while
under behavioral treatment (Whittal, Thordarson, McLean, 2004, p. 1560). Undergoing cognitive
treatment is an alternative to ERP as anxiety levels are lower with less trigger provoking methods. To
compare Cognitive Behavioral Therapy against Exposure Response Prevention, Whittal

Comparing Kennedy And Roosevelt s Four Freedoms
Both Roosevelt s Four Freedoms speech and Kennedy s inaugural address express helping the world
obtain liberty, however Roosevelt s speech focuses on what the freedoms are, whereas Kennedy s
speech focuses on what we should do about it. Though both of the speeches are given by respectable
Presidents of the United States and discuss the topic of freedom, they are very differing in what they
focus on when talking about liberty.
Both Kennedy and Roosevelt wrote speeches on the topic of liberty and there are many similarities to
the two, one in particular I found very interesting was This nation has placed its destiny in the hands
and hearts of its millions of free men and women, and its faith in freedom under the guidance of God
(FDR 276). This shows that Roosevelt put his faith in God in whether the country deserved freedom
or not, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is also a quote similar to this in Kennedy s speech it states that The belief that the rights of man
come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God (JFK 284). Both Kennedy and
Roosevelt believe that hand will give our Nation its right when GOD decides to give it. They both
believe that it is not our government that decides when freedom will happen, it is God that decides
that. Another similarity between the two is that both express keeping the world free. Let every nation
know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any
hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to ensure the survival and the success of liberty (JFK
284). This one by JFK expresses we as a country, will do anything to help any country be free and
want to help even if we are enemy countries. We are putting

Spider Man Vs Sequels
Sequels vs. Originals: Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man
Some movies are too good to stop at one measly movie. Sequels have been around for decades and
will not stop anytime soon. Many movies are so profitable and successful, it makes sense to provide a
sequel to the fan base. Sequels usually come after movies that are raved by many. Sequels are usually
better than the original film as demonstrated by Sam Raimi s Spider man trilogy.
A sequel normally follows a film that has already been successful. Sequels normally improve upon
originals but do not always pan out as well. One advantage of sequels is the fan base is already
acquired; this allows the producers to make a film that pleases the fans because they already know
who they are. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Rob Leane, a movie critic, states, Spider Man 2 has heart (Leane). The first movie does have the
heartfelt moment of uncle Ben being killed. Peter needed revenge so he accidentally killed uncle Ben s
killer. The following movie has the heartfelt moment of aunt May s inspirational speech after Peter
gave up the superhero gig; it gave him hope again. Rob states, Aunt May who puts Peter back on
track, with her I think there s a hero in all of us speech (Leane). The final movie is one of the more
touching films. Peter finally finds the true killer of uncle Ben. He is set on vengeance for most of the
movie; that is not something your friendly neighborhood Spider man would do. It is not until the end
of the film that the major heartfelt moments take place. The middle of the movie is sprinkled with the
heartbreaking love story of Peter and Mary Jane. Peter s best friend is killed in a tragic battle, and
Peter confronts his uncle s killer and hears his side of the story. Peter is heavy laden with all of these
problems at once. In a change of events, Peter forgives this murder because after all, he is human and
makes mistakes. This weight lifted off of his shoulders creates a strong ending to the trilogy.
New characters is an advantage of sequels. The third movie in the Spider man trilogy is unlike the
others in the way it introduces three villains of Spider man (Venom, Sandman,

The Role of the Supernatural in the Play Macbeth Essay
The Role of the Supernatural in the Play Macbeth
Fair is foul and foul is fair such a well known line from the play Macbeth, with such power behind the
words. I have reason to believe that the role of the supernatural plays a very important part in
Shakespeare s play Macbeth, we can say that the supernatural occurs 4 times throughout the play that
we can call supernatural because they are physically unnatural things to be seen, e.g. the appearance of
Banquo s ghost, the prophecies and the air drawn dagger etc. But I have gone further into depth to find
that the supernatural isn t just physically noticeable but also mentally through hallucination etc. I have
many reasons to believe this because ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is because of the history of the witches at the time that Shakespeare had written the play. At the
time that the play was written, there was a strong belief in the existence of witches, anyone that was
seen to do things differently or better than anyone else they were accused of being a witch, and it was
very offensive to be accused of being one. This therefore is the reason why the supernatural is a
recurring theme in many of his plays. That is why the supernatural is seen in many varied forms such
as the floating dagger, the witches and many more. With Macbeth s entrance in the play, he has a
reaction to the witches the same that anyone in the audience would have had too. He is shocked to see
them, but also wants to listen to the words that the witches speak because they talk about what
Macbeth has always desired. This reaction too would have been what the audience would have had,
and this draws them into the play further, as if they can feel what Macbeth too is feeling. I feel that
with the power of the audience in the play as well as the story seems almost supernatural in a way
because of the power that it holds. I feel that Shakespeare would have wanted this effect because of
the great impact that the audience get from watching the play.

Abstract: Effect of various concentrations of NSAIDs (Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs) on
growth of commercial probiotic preparations (A, B, C, and D) were observed by agar well diffusion
assay. Zone of inhibition was recorded after 24 h and found that different samples of probiotics
showed more or less susceptibility to different doses of NSAIDs. This indicates that NSAIDs beside
anti inflammatory response may give antibiotic effect as well.
Keywords: NSAIDs, antibiotic, probiotics.
1. Introduction:
According to the definition by WHO and FAO, probiotics are live microorganisms which when
administered in adequate amounts confers a health benefit on the host. Probiotics are available to
consumers mainly in the form of foods and as dietary supplements.
NSAIDs have analgesic, antipyretic effects and also have anti inflammatory effects in higher doses.
Use of NSAID is associated with increased risk of gastrointestinal and cardiovascular effects mainly
due to the inhibition of prostanoid biosynthesis. NSAIDs have many applications in pharmacokinetics
and medicinal.
This review aims to examine antimicrobial property of NSAIDs (ibuprofen, aspirin, and diclofenac).

What is free trade? Free trade is the international trade left to its natural course without tariffs, quotas
or any other restrictions. The first time arguments came around about if free trade was fair was in
1839 42 during the opium wars in China. British drug dealers were exporting roughly a ton of opium
per day over from India. The people of China grew more and more aggrieved at the damage it was
doing to their people and societies, to prevent this the Chinese tried to close their borders. The British
were callous in suppressing this small revolt of the drug disagreeing nationalist china. So today is free
trade fair? I would say this could be answered in many different ways depending on many factors.
There are many advantages for many people and countries however for one person to gain advantage
it must come at a cost of someone having to deal with the disadvantage. An example of this

Euclid Was The Father Of Mathematicians
Euclid of Alexandria was a Greek mathematician most known for his groundbreaking work in
geometry and is often called the father of geometry. Most of Euclid s life is unknown, the public
mostly knows about Euclid through Proclus, who was the last major Greek philosopher. It is said that
Euclid was born around 365 B.C. in Alexandria, Egypt and lived until about 300 B.C. According to
Proclus Euclid taught in Alexandria in the time of Ptolemy I Soter. Euclid is most famous for his 13
volume book on geometry called The Elements. In the book he used his and many other
mathematicians theories to explain plane geometry (Books I VI), number theory (Books VII IX),
Phaenomena also known as Eudoxus s theory of irrational numbers (Book X), and solid geometry
(Books XI XIII). His book was used as the main textbook for teaching mathematics until the later 19th
or early 20th century. Proclus recalls a story of Euclid of when Ptolemy 1 asked if there was a shorter
path to learning geometry than Euclid s Elements, in which Euclid replied, There is no royal road to
geometry. Although previous Mathematicians discovered many of the works in the book, Euclid was
sill known for collecting, organizing, and proofing geometric ideas that were already used as applied
techniques. Several mathematicians, the Elements are based on work from people like Eudoxus s,
Thales, Hippocrates, Pythagoras, and many more. We now know of his theories as Euclidean

War Dogs Movie Analysis
Bottom Feeders The film War Dogs (2016) tracks the rise and fall of two international arms dealers.
The movie starts with David, portrayed by Miles Teller, who is stuck as a masseuse with no real
opportunities in his life. His best friend from middle school, Efraim, portrayed by Jonah Hill, returns
to his life and gives him an offer he cannot refuse. Together they create a small empire but end up
getting in over their heads. This film shows the side of war that we rarely see. It shows how much war
is truly influenced by money, as well as showing who benefits off the profits. Hint, it is not the
soldiers. This directly ties into the American Dream. Additionally, many aspects of the film help drive
home this aspect of the American Dream. Things like setting and music are huge in this. These aspects
exaggerate points made in the movie and add extra layers. The film addresses the American Dream by
stating the reality that the American Dream centers around money and power; the film does this by
addressing the financial side of war via music, setting, and characters. The music in this film included
a lot of American classics and was a key element. Songs like Fortunate Son by Creedance Clearwater
Revival and Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith are classic songs that every American knows and they were
used strategically throughout the film. For example, Fortunate Son was used as Efraim and David
were fleeing enemy fire in Fallujah. They brought the term gun runners new life when

As soon as a woman gets to an age where she has opinions and she is vital and strong. She is

considered more advantageous than women. Dating back to ancient times, men traditionally were
determined more valuable over women based on the physical strengths and the capacity of resistance
of outside pressure. However, not reconciled to the situation, women were making great efforts to
enhance their positions and fortify their status in the society, which were beneficial for their own
developments. For instance, the first female monarch of ancient China, empress Wu, ascended the

laid the foundation of feminism. Meanwhile, her appearance encouraged more women to challenge the

Essay about Capitalism in Marx and Weber
The Concept Of Capitalism In Marx And Weber; What Is The Contemporary Relevance Of Their

At the later nineteenth century many social and economical ideas were developed because of the past
revolutions and the present conflict of individuals and organised assemblies. Capitalism, one of these
ideas, leads bourgeoisie to dream of a capitalist society in order to advance their maintain lifestyle and

The ruling class increased at the expense of the subject class and a conflict of interest developed
between them. This can be demonstrated by Marx s view of the nature of ownership and production in
capitalist societies. According to Marx, in a capitalist economy, goods are the labour power; raw
materials and machinery used to produce them are given an economic value. The employer buys
labour power, Marx says: more accurately, I think, he buys the right to use the worker s powers for a
day . Also, he argued that capital was owned by the capitalist class which produced nothing and
gained its wealth from the exploitation of the mass of the population the labour.
Those who produced lost the control of the product of their labour and the process of production
(Marx). Marx developed the theory of alienation since he believed that workers through capitalism
were alienated. According to this, things that naturally belong together are separated and because of
some forces are not in harmony. In his writings he mostly referred to the alienation of people from
aspects of their human nature . His theory is based upon his observation that under capitalism in rising
industrial production, workers unavoidably lose control of their lives and selves because they can t
control their work. Consequently, workers never become autonomous. Alienation exists in capitalism
societies because in work each provides common wealth, but can only express this

Amphitryon Dramatic Structure
To understand Dramatic Structure. The scaffolding on which playwright plots a tale to frame or shape
the action Mira Fellner, THINK theatre (Boston: Pearson, 2013), 51. While reading a play, knowledge
is applied in a critical perspective. Our mind tries to classify it in a coherent form into one of the types
of dramatic structures that have been studied by us. It should be possible now to differentiate a
climactic structure from a serial, episodic or circular one. Our goal is to clarify the ideas presented in a
play. For this, it is imperative to acknowledge that each play has its own structure. Using the tools
presented to us on Think theater we move on now from the theory to the practice. We will be
thoroughly working on the structural analysis of Amphitryon . A three act play, by Moliere. On the
very start we meet the main characters, first is Amphitryon as the general of the Thebans. Next, we

Selecting a Locale for Global Outsourcing
Selecting a Locale for Global Outsourcing
Introduction:
The process of globalization is changing the way that companies large and small must conduct
business to survive. From external factors such as the international laws and widely varying domestic
tax policies to internal changes to personnel or process, free trade policies are altering operational
strategy, especially for small companies engaging in growth. One of the most determinant changes
brought on by free trade and its gradual permeation of the developing world is the appeal of global
outsourcing or off shoring for growing American businesses. Outsourcing is the practice by which
companies will employ agencies external to the company, and increasingly external even to the
primary country of operation, in order to attain specialty services at a fee per service basis. Also
important to the discussion, the concept of off shoring will find a company expanding into a new
international location by establishing a satellite base of operations within. Each strategy carries its
own unique set of challenges and advantages. Part of our task as a growing company verging on its
first venture of internationalization is to determine what balance of these strategies might best serve
our interests.
Factors in a Global Context:
There are many global factors to consider that have been emergent with the spread of globalization.
For a firm seeking an ideal context for establishing a new manufacturing center, cost is of course a

Because of the active participation of the federal government, laws were passed so that former slaves

Why Led Zeppelin Is The Best Rock Band
The Rock Band that was Greatest Do you enjoy listening to the famous rock band Led Zeppelin? This
band has had countless songs that have made the top 100 list, including Stairway to Heaven,
Immigrant Song, and Kashmir. Their music has changed the history of rock and roll. Finally they were
also ranked grband in the world for 10 years in a row! This is almost unheard of in rock and roll
history. This proves that Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of the past 50 years. One key element
of a band is the lyrics. They need to include real meaning to them. The singer can t be singing about
things that don t make any sense or do not care about. A singer sings best when they are singing about
something that they care about or something that has affected them. This causes the singer to have
more emotion when singing. Led Zeppelin is a prime example of a band that puts passion into their

Guitar solos can make or break a song. They are extremely important for a rock band. Originality,
complexity, influence, and lasting appeal are keys to an insane guitar solo. Led Zeppelin s Jimmy Page
has several fantastic guitar solos such as Ramble On, Stairway to Heaven, and Whole Lotta Love.
They keep the audience intrigued throughout the performance . They are also complex . Jimmy Page s
perfect mix of fast and slow passages, highs and lows, all set against Plant s voice define the Led
Zeppelin sound. He helped mold Led Zeppelin to what they would become with his shredding guitar

The Iroquois Culture
We place you upon those seats, spread soft with the feathery down of the globe thistle, there beneath
the shade of the spreading branches of the Tree of Peace (Dekanawida 49). The Iroquois use a tree to
symbolize their binding law and peaceful constitution.
The Iroquois tribe has been around since before the 1500 s. Their stories have been passed down and
interpreted in many ways, to which I have learned about in American Literature.
The culture of the Iroquois mostly revolved in their tribes and clans. The women owned all property
and determined kinship. So, the children a woman has, take her name and clan. Founded around 1570,
the Iroquois Confederacy brought nearly 200 years of peace and prosperity to the five Iroquois nations

Temple University Reflection
As I prepare for a 10 year Temple University Reunion. I think about all I have accomplished since my
4 years as a Temple owl. I owe great gratitude to Temple university for the great character building ,
innovative teaching, and family life preparing classes that have helped me become the man I am to
today.
A Bachelor in Communication was greatly vital on the path to becoming a Director of
communications for Apple. It was long road getting where I am today, but the great character building
lessons I took with me from Temple University made each road block I faced more conquerable. At
times I even look back on the person I was before attending Temple university. A 18 yr old transfer
student from Upper Darby filled with limitless passion. My years at Temple helped me maintain and
improve this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Being part of this new generation is quite helpful but not enough. The innovative ways of teaching
learned at Temple University made this quest a completable one. My former professors and counselors
always looked for new ways to help a student. At times the teaching techniques used were so contrast
compared to well known ways, but also positively effective. Each time I gave a speech on a new idea I
thought back on how my professors would have handled it and I always impress the company. My life
as an Apple employee is filled with many things I appreciate each day, but my greatest blessing is at
home. Coming home each day to two beautiful daughters Shelly and Caroline is a feeling that cannot
be replaced. They are so much alike but also different that makes being a father so much more
interesting. Growing up I have never saw myself as a father but the family life classes from Temple
University changed my life so much that being a father is an accomplishment I am greatly proud

Two And A Half Men Deviant Analysis
I personally have never seen the show Two and a Half Men , but based on what you wrote I could see
where people in society could view this as deviant. For example, someone living in the neighborhood
and just seeing them on a daily basis could possibly form their opinion that the men are homosexual
and trying to raise a child. I could also see the other perceptive where one is a womanizer and
alcoholic while the other one is socially awkward.
Society could instantly form the opinion that they
don t need to be raising a child because of their lifestyle and behaviors. I do agree that some things are
observed in larger cities that are more acceptable than smaller cities. I feel this is accepted because of
the diversity of the people living within that city. Whereas, in your city or town it is mostly people that
have grown up in that area and the norms are already set and lived by. ... Show more content on

I feel there is going to be all types of people that can form their opinions about hunting and fishing
and the killing of those animals. But as in the South this has always been a food source. Some people
in society feel this behavior is deviant because animals have personalities and feelings. I can relate to
both views and accept each personal opinion. Using the Lord s name in society has changed so much
even from when I was a child. I personally don t know how we have got to this point, because when I
younger it was acceptable and we always did the pledge of allegiance and said God s name. Now it is
looked upon as being deviant and not acceptable because we have to respect so many other personal

Hostile Takeovers in a DDM Situation
Sourav has illustrated in the initial portion of his discussion how it is that the HPR and DDM values of
his selected firms will differ, mainly as a result of the different assumptions underlying each formula.
Between the HPR model s generalized distribution assumption, and the DDM s time consuming need
to forecast each incremental dividend to be paid, investors are faced with a dilemma when
determining which model to use when valuing a firm. Valkama et al (2013) then add further
complication to the matter when they raise the issue of how special dividends and stock splits can then
further impact the raw inputs of these formulae, as they will therefore require special adjustments to
properly accommodate the relevance of these situations. With this information in mind, I intend on
further developing the relevance of the DDM from the perspective of an investor that is looking to
benefit from an acquisition.
Each January, Morningstar (2013) publishes a list of takeover targets for the coming year. In their
2013 list, they included 11 firms. In using this list to demonstrate the potential upside of an acquisition
to target firm shareholders, I expect to find that these firms demonstrate a lower DDM valuation than
their actual HPR value, mainly because of the way in which their common shares have
underperformed in relation to the value of their dividends, and therefore creating an opportunity for a
firm to purchase the company at a discount, and realize the gains on a forward

Do Nascimento Research Paper
Edison Arantes Do Nascimento known as Pele. Pele is a retired Brazilian professional soccer player.
He is widely regard as the world greatest soccer player at all times. He was born on October 23,1940.
He was born in the city of Tres Coracoes and moved to the city of Bauru as a young boy. Pele grew up
in poverty. He would kick a rolled up sock with rags in it and kick it around the city like if it was a
soccer ball. When he was 15 his coach Waldemar De Brito convince his parents to let him leave home
and let him try out for the Santos professional soccer club. He immediately signed up with the team
and start practicing with them. Before he turned 16 he scored his first professional goal of his career,
and was recuited to play for the Brazilian national team. In 1958 Pele played in the World Cup in
Sweden. Pele being only 17 years old erupted to score 3 goals in a 5 2 semifinal win over France, then

the franchise. That same year, he led Argentina to the title in the under 20 World Cup, scoring on a
pair of penalty kicks to propel the team over Nigeria. Messi embarked on an all out assault on the
record books in 2012. He surpassed Cesar Rodriguez s club record 232 goals to become Barcelona s
all time leading scorer. By the end of 2012, Messi had accumulated an astounding 91 goals in club and
international play, eclipsing the 85 netted in a single calendar year by Gerd Muller in 1972. Fittingly,
he broke one more record when he was named the FIFA Ballon d Or winner for the fourth time in
January 2013. Although he is famously quiet and private off the field, Messi has found ways to help

Real Business Cycles Hypothesis Sees Cycles
Introduction
Real Business Cycles hypothesis sees cycles as starting in frictionless splendidly focused economies
with for the most part finish markets subject to genuine stuns (irregular changes in innovation or
efficiency), it makes the contention that cycles are predictable with aggressive general harmony
situations in which all operators are levelheaded maximizers (The Economist). In opposition to what
Keynesian, Monetarist, and new traditional business analysts trusted, RBC scholars, beginning with
Nelson and Plosser in 1982, found that the theory that GDP development takes after an arbitrary walk
can t be rejected. They contended that a large portion of the adjustments in GDP were perpetual, and
that yield development would not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Changes in the work supply or livelihood.
RBC models were for the most part fruitful in representing diligence and co movement, yet less
effective in offering persuading clarifications for changes in occupation (Real Business Cycle Theory).
The Baxter and King paper, Fiscal Policy in General Equilibrium concentrates on four exemplary
financial approach tests inside a quantitatively confined neoclassical model. The creators primary
discoveries are as per the following: lasting changes in government buys can prompt short run and
long run yield multipliers that surpass one; perpetual changes in government buys instigate bigger
impacts than transitory changes; the financing choice is quantitatively more critical than the asset
expense of changes in government buys; and open venture affects private yield and speculation. These
discoveries stem from critical element collaborations of capital and work truant in prior harmony
investigations of monetary arrangement (Baxter King 1993).
In the event that business cycles are brought about for the most part by changes in efficiency, instead
of by money related and budgetary unsettling influences, what part do financial and monetary
arrangements play? In Satyajit Chatterjee s article he examines the likelihood that countercyclical
money related and financial arrangements have assumed a vital part in

A Thorough Comparative Analysis Of Single Diode Models...
Abstract This paper presents a thorough comparative analysis study for various kinds of single diode
models based photovoltaic power source. The main target behind the paper is to explore the effect of
increasing the embedded degree of complexity of the single diode model on the simulated behavior of
a particular PV module by comparing the dynamic performance of such kind of PV models with the
experimental data from manufacturer s data sheet under varying the atmospheric conditions. The
relative errors between each PV single diode model output and the experimentally validated data are
computed at three indicative points namely open circuit voltage, short circuit current and maximum
power point. The result of this comparison leads to determining the best PV single diode module that
is more suitable than the others in the context of single diode model to be applied in different power
system application irrespective of changing the environmental conditions along over different periods
of the day. The comparison study in this paper ends up with determining the relevant single diode
model at low, medium and high temperature and irradiance level as well as at standard test conditions.
Introduction New era that will not mainly relay on central power stations seems to have started. A
novel independent power producers who provide less expensive, more efficient and smaller scale

  • 2. Meaning Of Symbolic Interactionism When an interaction of this kind appears,It is safe to say that we have a language and a meaning. A symbol is something which stays for something else, for example words refers to objects. (Giddens,p22) However,in order such an interaction to occur, all the participants must understand the meanings of the symbols used by them altogether. Just as like in a theatre hall, dramaturgical perspective interprets a social encounter as a stage and the social participants as actors and audience. The actor takes on a certain role in front of an observing audience. The roles indicates the actors` social positions, but also marks audience`s expectations towards him/her. The possession of meaning according to Mead is a privilege accessible only to advanced animals such as the human beings.Meaning is a prerequisite for action in this case.In other words, meaning and action are interrelated in an interaction as meaning may be before action, but the latter confirms for the initiated meaning. The act of adjustive response of the second organism, gives to the gesture of the first ... the meaning which it has. (Mead p.71) Thus can me implied that meaning and action are the essentials for a symbolic interaction. I and me constitute the essential mechanism for an individual to act. However in terms of function, they have a clearly opposite one. Me is that part of a person, which alarms for how this person should react,in this sense it is his/her ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Myers Briggs Type Indicator Of Personality Myers Briggs Type Indicator Personality is a challenging trait to measure and many personality tests do not stand the test of time once they are applied and researched. Why then, do we find it important to measure personality? Isabel Briggs Myers once said It is up to each person to recognize his or her true preferences. I find this statement to be true in theory and in practice. In today s social media, one of the most common online quizzes or assessments I come across, is personality test. There appears to be countless ways to find out one s personality type, but many have not been proven true or accurate. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator, also known as the MBTI and it is a well known and established, personality inventory. It is a way to do, as Isabel Briggs Myers said, to find and know your own preferences. The MBTI is based on Carl Jung theories of personality types and commonly used today. It was developed by the mother daughter team of Katharine Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers in order to assess personality types. The MBTI was published in 1975 by the Consulting Psychologists Press, Inc. (The Myers Briggs Foundation Isabel Briggs Myers 2014). Test Description The MBIT was meant to coincide with Jung s four dichotomies which Katharine Briggs and Isabel Myers followed. After a great deal of research, they came up with a self report instrument with questions on four separate dichotomies (Myers, Creation of the MBTI® Types, 2011). Much like Jung, their questions ... • 4. College Free Tuition Should Not Be Free College Free Tuition Education is one of the best ways to succeed; however not everyone has access to it and not everyone has the opportunity to have a degree. After high school a lot of students drop out because the college tuitions are too expensive; they can t afford them. A couple weeks ago, president Obama came with a proposition in which to make community college free for students because more jobs will require a degree in the future. The program will concern the students who are serious. It means, in order to qualify, the students have to maintain a 2.5 grade point average C+, and they have to be full time and be able to transfer to a 4 years college. Other people believe that community college should not be free because of the following reasons; the program extends the welfare and encourages people to depend on government and not everyone needs to go to college. A study of the arguments will show that community college education should be free. According to Linda Conner Lambeck article, The job expectation in the coming years will require at least an associate s degree are projected to grow twice as fast as jobs requiring no college experience. The United States needs more college graduates in other to improve the economy. So making the community college free for students it is one of the best ways to start growing the economy. • 5. Peripheral Nerve Complications The incidence of hoarseness was 11% after PACU discharge and lasted a mean of 2 days. The etiology of these symptoms was not formally established. It is possible that symptoms were due to prolonged block of the phrenic and recurrent laryngeal nerves. (Liu et al, 2010). Borgeat et al 2001, in a prospective study of ISB using a nerve stimulator concluded that one patient with Marfan disease (0.2%) suffered pneumothorax. 0.2%of cases had episode of central nervous system toxicity in the form of incoherent speech. Aspiration of blood was encountered in 0.5%of patients but no hematoma was subsequently observed. Nerve injury after brachial plexus anesthesia varied from 0 to more than 5%. (Borgeat et al, 2001). Peripheral nerve complications are generally directly attributed to the performance of the block itself, but this concept was challenged by Selander et al 1979, who indicated that other factors may be responsible as well. (Selander et al, 1979). In 1974 Ward reported an incidence of 3% of symptomatic pneumothorax after ISB by paraesthesia blind technique. The pneumothorax was almost certainly produced by the prior attempt to carry out a supraclavicular block, as it is difficult to imagine the apex of the lung reaching as high as C6, the level of an ... The two forces that were a part of this rebellion were the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, also known as the Hakka s, and the Qing dynasty, also known as the Manchus. The main cause of the rebellion was that Hong Xiuquan, a Hakka and the main leader of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, received a vision that he was the brother of Jesus and was sent to overthrow the Qing dynasty. She is a Chinese girl who comes from Chengdu, and she has problems producing some of the sounds. For example, she always pronounces six as sex , which ultimately made her come to me since it kept embarrassing her. I first taught her some basic pronouncing rules, and then we began the spotting then correcting session. After reading Wiggins (2012) article about feedback, I think the way that I taught my friend was to have her learn from the feedback. An overabundant curiosity in other s affairs is certainly looked down upon yet it is rampant among people. Thus within in one sentence Byron points this idea out; people say one thing yet do another. This problem is central to what Byron sees as wrong with society, the basic hypocritical nature of people. There is truth to his thinking and by directing the reader to notice this, he can be said to be wanting to change that. Change usually does not occur until the fault is presented outright. Indeed, one form taken by the philosophic irony underlying the first canto suggests that cant and hypocrisy may endanger the very continuity of civilized tradition (Bostetter 22). Exposure is repeatedly exposing the subject to a trigger of obsession. If a person is afraid of getting sick, they would expose themselves by sitting in a hospital. Response prevention is asking the patient to refuse contributing to their compulsive behavior. The behavior they perform is to reduce rising anxiety levels, but while participating in ERP the patient will experience levels of anxiety while facing the fear. Most of Euclid s life is unknown, the public mostly knows about Euclid through Proclus, who was the last major Greek philosopher. It is said that Euclid was born around 365 B.C. in Alexandria, Egypt and lived until about 300 B.C. According to Proclus Euclid taught in Alexandria in the time of Ptolemy I Soter. Euclid is most famous for his 13 volume book on geometry called The Elements. In the book he used his and many other mathematicians theories to explain plane geometry (Books I VI), number theory (Books VII IX), Phaenomena also known as Eudoxus s theory of irrational numbers (Book X), and solid geometry (Books XI XIII). His book was used as the main textbook for teaching mathematics until the later 19th or early 20th century. Proclus recalls a story of Euclid of when Ptolemy 1 asked if there was a shorter path to learning geometry than Euclid s Elements, in which Euclid replied, There is no royal road to geometry. Although previous Mathematicians discovered many of the works in the book, Euclid was sill known for collecting, organizing, and proofing geometric ideas that were already used as applied techniques. The movie starts with David, portrayed by Miles Teller, who is stuck as a masseuse with no real opportunities in his life. His best friend from middle school, Efraim, portrayed by Jonah Hill, returns to his life and gives him an offer he cannot refuse. Together they create a small empire but end up getting in over their heads. This film shows the side of war that we rarely see. It shows how much war is truly influenced by money, as well as showing who benefits off the profits. Hint, it is not the soldiers. This directly ties into the American Dream. Additionally, many aspects of the film help drive home this aspect of the American Dream. Things like setting and music are huge in this. These aspects exaggerate points made in the movie and add extra layers. The film addresses the American Dream by stating the reality that the American Dream centers around money and power; the film does this by addressing the financial side of war via music, setting, and characters. The music in this film included a lot of American classics and was a key element. Songs like Fortunate Son by Creedance Clearwater Revival and Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith are classic songs that every American knows and they were used strategically throughout the film. This can be demonstrated by Marx s view of the nature of ownership and production in capitalist societies. According to Marx, in a capitalist economy, goods are the labour power; raw materials and machinery used to produce them are given an economic value. The employer buys labour power, Marx says: more accurately, I think, he buys the right to use the worker s powers for a day . Also, he argued that capital was owned by the capitalist class which produced nothing and gained its wealth from the exploitation of the mass of the population the labour. Those who produced lost the control of the product of their labour and the process of production (Marx). Marx developed the theory of alienation since he believed that workers through capitalism were alienated. According to this, things that naturally belong together are separated and because of some forces are not in harmony. In his writings he mostly referred to the alienation of people from aspects of their human nature . His theory is based upon his observation that under capitalism in rising industrial production, workers unavoidably lose control of their lives and selves because they can t control their work. From external factors such as the international laws and widely varying domestic tax policies to internal changes to personnel or process, free trade policies are altering operational strategy, especially for small companies engaging in growth. One of the most determinant changes brought on by free trade and its gradual permeation of the developing world is the appeal of global outsourcing or off shoring for growing American businesses. Outsourcing is the practice by which companies will employ agencies external to the company, and increasingly external even to the primary country of operation, in order to attain specialty services at a fee per service basis. Also important to the discussion, the concept of off shoring will find a company expanding into a new international location by establishing a satellite base of operations within. Each strategy carries its own unique set of challenges and advantages. Part of our task as a growing company verging on its first venture of internationalization is to determine what balance of these strategies might best serve our interests. Hostile Takeovers in a DDM Situation Sourav has illustrated in the initial portion of his discussion how it is that the HPR and DDM values of his selected firms will differ, mainly as a result of the different assumptions underlying each formula. Between the HPR model s generalized distribution assumption, and the DDM s time consuming need to forecast each incremental dividend to be paid, investors are faced with a dilemma when determining which model to use when valuing a firm. Valkama et al (2013) then add further complication to the matter when they raise the issue of how special dividends and stock splits can then further impact the raw inputs of these formulae, as they will therefore require special adjustments to properly accommodate the relevance of these situations. With this information in mind, I intend on further developing the relevance of the DDM from the perspective of an investor that is looking to benefit from an acquisition. Each January, Morningstar (2013) publishes a list of takeover targets for the coming year. In their 2013 list, they included 11 firms. In using this list to demonstrate the potential upside of an acquisition to target firm shareholders, I expect to find that these firms demonstrate a lower DDM valuation than their actual HPR value, mainly because of the way in which their common shares have underperformed in relation to the value of their dividends, and therefore creating an opportunity for a firm to purchase the company at a discount, and realize the gains on a forward ... These discoveries stem from critical element collaborations of capital and work truant in prior harmony investigations of monetary arrangement (Baxter King 1993). In the event that business cycles are brought about for the most part by changes in efficiency, instead of by money related and budgetary unsettling influences, what part do financial and monetary arrangements play? In Satyajit Chatterjee s article he examines the likelihood that countercyclical money related and financial arrangements have assumed a vital part in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 49. A Thorough Comparative Analysis Of Single Diode Models... Abstract This paper presents a thorough comparative analysis study for various kinds of single diode models based photovoltaic power source. The main target behind the paper is to explore the effect of increasing the embedded degree of complexity of the single diode model on the simulated behavior of a particular PV module by comparing the dynamic performance of such kind of PV models with the experimental data from manufacturer s data sheet under varying the atmospheric conditions. The relative errors between each PV single diode model output and the experimentally validated data are computed at three indicative points namely open circuit voltage, short circuit current and maximum power point. The result of this comparison leads to determining the best PV single diode module that is more suitable than the others in the context of single diode model to be applied in different power system application irrespective of changing the environmental conditions along over different periods of the day. The comparison study in this paper ends up with determining the relevant single diode model at low, medium and high temperature and irradiance level as well as at standard test conditions. Introduction New era that will not mainly relay on central power stations seems to have started. A novel independent power producers who provide less expensive, more efficient and smaller scale power plants is well underway ‎ [1] ‎ [2]. Renewable energy is heavily involved in such direction and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
