Latin Cross
 three-stage elevation in which there
is a gallery, known as a triforium
(triforio), between the arcade and the
clerestory (claristorio)
 Triforium - a shallow arched gallery within the
thickness of inner walls
 Clerestory – any windows above the eye level that
bring light and air inside the nave
