Workers play an important role in accident prevention. Their duties include not interfering with safety appliances, avoiding unsafe acts, and adhering to safety norms. Workers also have rights like obtaining safety information and training. Workers are expected to keep their workplaces clean and tidy, use safety appliances correctly, follow safety instructions, and actively participate in safety meetings and inspections. By understanding their safety responsibilities and involvement in accident prevention activities, workers can help build a strong safety culture.

Efficient Safety Culture as Sustainable Development in Construction IndustryIJERA Editor
The paper focuses on precaution necessary to prevent avoidable accidents in the construction industries, important water development, building and roads construction in Nigeria. Moreover, appreciate the need for a safe working environment but also precaution necessary for hitch-free operation.
Amelioration of safety management in infrastructure projectsIJERA Editor
Accidents are a major public health concern, resulting in an estimated 1.2 million deaths and 50 million injuries
worldwide each year specifically, the relationships between drivers' characteristics and road accidents are not
fully understood. Many factors are involved in the accident occurrence at construction site. Some important
elements that create a significant portion of accidents include: safety management error, poor training programs,
human element, act of god, outdated procedure and no clear monitoring policy. Although some of these items
are inevitable, but the occurrence of the largest part can be prevented. Therefore, for ameliorating the safety in a
project each of these items should be analyzed and a practical approach introduced. In general, near miss,
incident and accident are three dependent levels that mainly lead to injury. Risk and hazard are allocated in first
level which means near miss, therefore, no on-time identification of hazard and risk causes to create incident
and preventing accident in incident stage is unavoidable.
Worker safety trainings are the most essential foundation block for building a safety culture in any organisation. Worker skill training and capacity building is unique and to be designed, developed and delivered with proper competence & focus.

THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK FOR SAFETY CULTURE AND SAFETY PERFORMANCE IN MANUFACTUR...IAEME Publication
This paper provides a conceptual analysis of safety culture and safety performance in Malaysian manufacturing industries. However, manufacturing industries are facing highest number of accidents throughout a year. Due to higher occupational accidents, industries are required to verify relationship between safety culture and safety performance to optimize the productivity. It was recognized by the researchers that safety culture can be improve through five main components; management commitment, communication, safety priority, supportive environment, and involvement. These components increase the safety performance by mean of three components; safety performance report, employee’s performance, and equipment performance. This study has done extensive literature review and identify the gap between safety culture and safety performance. The outcomes of this paper could help Malaysian manufacturing to increase the safety performance through reduction in accident and injury at industrial level

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

Role of workers in accident prevention, By B C Das
1. Role of Workers in Accident Prevention
In any industry, safety of human being and machines enhances productivity and helps a
lot of saving .Hence accident prevention is the concern of all, the management, line
manages and workers. Following are the guiding principles of accident prevention.
1. Accidents are caused, they just do not happen.
2. Accidents are caused due to unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.

5. For accident prevention, modern technique adopted is safety management system.
6. Hazards are to be identified risks are evaluated and controlled.
7. Joint participation and involvement of all is the key to safety management.
8. Systematic approach is the key to success.
9. Industrial safety management is an on-going process.
Workers' obligations for accident prevention.
