Key solutions included simplifying the approval process to require only two signatures and redesigning order forms for efficiency, resulting in a decrease in purchase order lead time from 3 days to 2 days and increased confidence among requesters. Enhanced supplier relationships and monetary benefits were noted due to improved efficiency and the establishment of more preferred vendors offering discounts.
