Julie also likes fashion, shopping at Urban Outfitters and New Look, and going to concerts, though finds them expensive.

Based on the audience research and the interview, I have created a picture of how my average reader is. This is
the person I will adjust my magazine after in order to attract that type of readers.
Julie is 17 years old and currently studying for her A-levels at York college. She has a big group of friends, and
she loves hanging out with them on her spear time. Her main interest is music, and she listens to mostly rock
pop music as well as a bit of indie pop and average pop. She is inspired by bands such as The 1975, Bastille,
Imagine Dragons and Arctic Monkeys, but she also likes listening to One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Passenger.
Julie has a iPhone and she buys music on iTunes quite often. She uses a lot of social medias like Facebook,
Instagram, YouTube and Twitter to express herself and get updated on news. She doesn’t have a job, but she
gets pocket money from her parents. Julie is also very artistic, because she loves drawing and painting. Julie
cares about fashion, and therefore she often goes shopping. Her favourite shops are Urban Outfitters and New
Look, and her style is heavily influenced by the artists she likes. She also acts like a trend setter within her peer
group. Julie likes going to concerts, but she finds it very expensive and can’t go as often as she would like to.
Instead, she reads magazines and loves checking up on the newest gossip about her favourite bands/artists.
