used before and is the formal word for Pop
music, which is the genre for my magazine.
The Genre will pop, as most people on the
survey said they would rather buy a pop
magazine.
Jess is 17 and lives in York. She is into pop
music and is a full student at college/sixth
form. Her income comes from her parents who
are financially secure and are middle class.
Jess is a frequent user of social networking
sites and often has friends round to her house.
She also enjoys going shopping with her
friends and likes to shop when she is not
doing college work. Jess enjoys watching TV
shows such as; Friends, Made in Chelsea,
Keeping up with the Kardashians and TOWIE.
 POPular is the newest magazine to give
information about the latest chart music and
what life is about for music celebrities.
 It is a magazine designed for teenage girls
that allows them to be up to date with
everything they would want to know, to do
with the music industry.
 It is affordable as the target audience are
teenage girls who will be in education with
part time jobs or living dependently at home.
