•Detected accident and find out the location of the
accident site.
•Wireless acknowledgement through GSM and GPS.
•Today we live in the modern age of science.
•Technology has helped human society to make huge improvements in the
quality of life.
•It has helped to predict earthquakes, tsunamis, disasters etc and indirectly
helps us to save thousands of lives by pre-emptive predictions of the
destruction pattern.
•Technology advancements in Automobiles help us in saving lives of those
who confront an accident.
•Today the Security industry is the most rapid growing industry in the world,
and is expected to grow at a phenomenal rate in the future as well.

microcontroller
 It is used to detect angle and direction of vehicle.
 It can be used to sense orientation.
 It can be used to measure vehicle acceleration.
 It can be used to measure vibration on car.

 Mini computer with necessary support chips on-board.
 Designed to perform applications where the relationship of input
and output is defined
 With advancement various features have been included in the micro-
controllers
 Three main building blocks – system should have to perform any
task.
◦ A processing unit (CPU)
◦ I/O PORTS for interaction with user or physical environment
◦ Memory elements (RAM/ROM/Flash/EEPROM) 11
 A diode bridge is an arrangement of four (or more) diodes in a bridge
circuit configuration that provides the same polarity of output for either
polarity of input.
 When it is used in most common application, for conversion of
an alternating current (AC) input into a direct current (DC) output, it is
known as a bridge rectifier.
12
 A voltage regulator is designed to automatically maintain a
constant voltage level
 Voltage regulator ICs are available with fixed voltage (typically 5, 12 and
15V) or variable output voltages
 For ICs within the 78xx family, the xx is replaced with two digits,
indicating the output voltage (for example, the 7805 has a 5 volt output,
while the 7812 produces 12 volts)
13
 ARDUINO Compiler: Used for programming microcontroller( based
on C ++ logics)
 Express PCB :Used for designing the PCB for the hardware part
14
 . Arduino is a tool for making computers that can
sense and control more of the physical world than
your desktop computer.
 Arduino projects can be stand-alone, or they can be
communicating with software running on your
computer
 Arduino hardware is programmed using a Wiring-based
language (syntax and libraries), similar to C++ . 15
 The Arduino development environment contains a
text editor for writing code, a message area, a text
console, a toolbar with buttons for common
functions, and a series of menus.
 Software written using Arduino is called sketches.
It has features for cutting/pasting and for
searching/replacing text.
16
 A PCB layout is required to place components on the PCB so that the component area
can be minimized and the components can be placed in an efficient manner.
 There are various software’s available for this purpose like-
 Express PCB
 Pad2pad
 Protel PCB
 PCB design etc.
 Express PCB is a very easy to use Windows application for laying out printed circuit
boards
 There are lots of functions available in the software. This software is free of cost and also
it is very easy to use 17
◦ PROCESSING
◦ CLEANSING
◦ PRINTING
◦ ETCHING
◦ DRILLING
◦ COMPONENT MOUNTING
◦ SOLDERING
◦ MASKING
18
 To minimize the deaths and the severe conditions due to accidents
the GPS and GSM technologies are used where the immediate
action would be take place by the ambulance/police service which
might reduces the severity.
