Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

3. • Women safety is one of the major issues in today's world. The world is becoming
so much unsafe for women. In today's world, most of the women are stepping out at
any time from their house for working.
• In last few years crime against women has increased to a greater extent. Women are
harassed not only in the evening or night but also during day hours at home,
working place, shopping etc.
• Around 80% of the women in our country be afraid regarding their safety. In past
decades women usually won’t step out from their house for work, so there was more
safety. But in the recent situation, women's want to be employed and want to work
outside, but there is need a lack of safety.
Introduction
4. • To help resolve this issue, a GPS based Women safety system is proposed that has
dual security feature.
• This device consists of a system that ensures dual alerts in case a woman is
harassed, or she thinks she is in trouble.
• This system can be turned ON by a woman even, if she thinks she would be in
trouble.
• It is useful because once an incident occurs, she may or may not get the chance to
press the emergency button.
• In a button press alerting system, if a woman is hit on her head from behind, she
might never get a chance to press emergency button, and no one will know she is
in trouble.
5. Introduction of Embedded System
• An embedded system is a combination of software and hardware, to perform a
dedicated task. Some of the main devices used in embedded products are
Microprocessors and Microcontrollers.
• An embedded system has three components −
1. It has hardware.
2. It has application software.
3. It has Real Time Operating system (RTOS).
• Every embedded system consists of custom-built hardware built around a Central
Processing Unit (CPU).This hardware also contains memory chips onto which
the software is loaded. The software residing on the memory chip is also called the
‘firmware’.
6. • Overview of Embedded System :
Fig : Basic building blocks of Embedded Systems.
• Embedded system, particularly the memory, has limited resources. It does not have
secondary storage devices such as the floppy disk or CDROM.
• These systems have to do effort against some deadlines. A specific work has to be
done within a specific time. This is called Real Time System.
8. Let’s discuss each module in detail,
ARDUINO UNO –
• The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board, based on the ATmega328 (datasheet). It
has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog
inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP
header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the
microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a
AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.
• A typical ARDUINO UNO board can be used for many applications based on the
coded program. ”UNO” was opted to record the release of ARDUINO software. The
version 1.0 of the Arduino is the reference and now updated to later versions. The first
