This document describes an IOT based automatic vehicle accident detection and rescue system. The system uses an accelerometer sensor to detect accidents and a GSM module to send alerts about the location to guardians and rescue teams. The aim is to reduce loss of life from accidents by reducing response times. When an accident is detected via the accelerometer, the microcontroller sends a message with location data from the GPS module via GSM to emergency responders. The system uses components like an Arduino, sensors, displays and wireless modules to automatically detect accidents and alert help.
