ATM SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
• The main purpose of our system is to make online transaction more secure and user-
friendly. Here we are using Fingerprint scanning biometric and iris scanning to provide access
to ATM machine. Data of a fingerprint and iris is stored in Aadhar database. Bank provide
authentication to the customer that can be access while performing transaction process. If the
fingerprint and iris match is found in data base then transaction take place. After verification,
if fingerprint and iris does not match transaction will be cancelled. Using fingerprint based
ATM system user can make secure transaction. Biometric can be used to identify physical and
behavioral characteristics of user fingerprints. There are many biometric devices like iris
detection, face recognition, fingerprint. In our Project, we are using fingerprint biometrics and
iris detection. Users fingerprint are scanned using biometric, eye ball are scanned through
camera and stored in database. All fingerprints have unique characteristics and patterns.
Fingerprint biometrics and camera are easy to use, cheap and most suitable for everyone.
Characteristics of fingerprint and iris vary from person to person. Fingerprint and iris is a
unique identity of user.

USING MULTISENSOR, GSM,
GPS TECHNOLOGY
ABSTRACT
• Now a days, the major part of the accidents are due to inappropriate driving by the drivers.
Driving is a complex task. Any lapse in concentration increases the risk of the vehicle being
involved in a crash. Driving while using a hand held mobile phone can cause both physical
and mental distraction, putting themselves and others at risk and lot of accidents due to
drunken driving, Rash driving. First is to automatically lock the motor of the vehicle with the
use of microcontroller, if any alcoholic person tries to drive the car/bus/any other. Second is
to control of using hand-held electronic device while driving the vehicle through PIR sensor.
Third is for speed indication of over speeding vehicle using Infrared sensor. Fourth is
mechanical system (MEMS) sensor will detects the signal of accident happen sends the alert
message through the GSM and GPS technology in mobile including the location to police
control room or a rescue team. So the police can immediately trace the location through the
GPS, after receiving the information. Fifth application is lively can monitor and control the
vehicle though IOT technique on the server if anyone theft the vehicle.

• INTRODUCTION
• The beginning of technology has also increased the traffic hazards and the road
accidents. Due to the lack of best emergency facilities available in our country the lives
of the people are under high risk. An automatic alarm device for vehicles is introduced in
this paper which sends the essential information to the medical salvage team within a
few seconds of an accident. This device can sense accidents and sends an alert message
to rescue teams in significantly less time which will help in saving the lives of the
people. The attentive message contains the geographical coordinates, time and angle in
which the accident has occurred. In cases where there is no casualty the message can be
terminated with the help of a switch in order to avoid wasting the valuable time of the
rescue team. When an accident occurs it is detected with facilitate of a sensor which
activates the device, the sensor gives its output to the microcontroller. The
microcontroller sends the alert message automatically to the police station and the
relatives of the person. The message is sent throughout the GSM module and the
location of the accident is detected with the help of the GPS module. Consequently with
this project execution we can identify the position of the vehicle where the accident has
occurred so that we can give the first aid as early as possible.
• PROPOSED SYSTEM
• In this project while a car met an accident, at that time the accident will be detected by the
vibration sensor or accelerometer. An accelerometer can be used in a car alarm application so that
risky driving can be detected. It can be used as a crash or rollover detector of the vehicle through and
after a crash. With signals from an accelerometer, a severe accident can be acknowledged. According
to this assignment when a motor vehicle meets with an accident instantly Vibration sensor will sense
the signal or if a car rolls over, a Micro electro mechanical system (MEMS) sensor will detects the
specific signal and sends it to ARM controller. Immediately microcontroller sends the signal to GPS
module to give the exact value of the geographical coordinates which contains the value of
longitude, latitude and altitude. After that the microcontroller sends the alert message through the
GSM MODEM including the coordinates value of GPS to the medical rescue team and a police
control room. Then the medical help center will conform the location of the accident by analyzing
the co- ordinates value of GPS on a map. Once the medical help center get the location of accident, it
will inform the medical rescue team which in near to the location of the accident so that the injured
party can get the treatment as fast as possible. Also our system will send the message to the police
control room so that their required investigation can be done in very less time and the medical rescue
team is allowed to provide the treatment to the injured party.
• POWER SUPPLY
A power supply is an electronic device that supplies electric energy to an electrical
load. The primary function of a power supply is to convert one form of electrical
energy to another and, as a result, power supplies are sometimes referred to
as electric power converters. Some power supplies are discrete, stand-alone devices,
whereas others are built into larger devices along with their loads. Examples of the
latter include power supplies found in desktop computers and consumer
electronics devices.
• TRANSFORMER
A transformer is a static electrical device that transfers electrical energy between two or more circuits. A
varying current in one coil of the transformer produces a varying magnetic flux, which, in turn, induces a
varying electromotive force across a second coil wound around the same core. Electrical energy can be
transferred between the two coils, without a metallic connection between the two circuits. Faraday's law of
induction discovered in 1831 described the induced voltage effect in any coil due to changing magnetic flux
encircled by the coil. Transformers are used for increasing or decreasing the alternating voltages in electric
power applications, and for coupling the stages of signal processing circuits. Since the invention of the first
constant-potential transformer in 1885, transformers have become essential for the transmission,
distribution, and utilization of alternating current electric power. A wide range of transformer designs is
encountered in electronic and electric power applications. Transformers range in size from RF transformers
less than a cubic centimeter in volume, to units weighing hundreds of tons used to interconnect the power
grid.

• LCD
A liquid-crystal display (LCD) is a flat panel display, electronic visual display, or
video display that uses the light modulating properties of liquid crystals. Liquid
crystals do not emit light directly.
LCDs are available to display arbitrary images (as in a general-purpose computer
display) or fixed images which can be displayed or hidden, such as preset words,
digits, and 7-segment displays as in a digital clock. They use the same basic
technology, except that arbitrary images are made up of a large number of small
pixels, while other displays have larger elements.
• LED
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a two-lead semiconductor light source. It is a pn-
junction diode, which emits light when activated.]When a suitable voltage is
applied to the leads, electrons are able to recombine with electron holes within the
device, releasing energy in the form of photons. This effect is called
electroluminescence, and the color of the light is determined by the energy band
gap of the semiconductor.
• GPS MODULE
• A GPS navigation device is a device that accurately calculates geographical
location by receiving information from GPS satellites. Initially it was used by the
United States military, but now most receivers are in automobiles and smart phones.
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made
up of a network of a minimum of 24, but currently 30, satellites placed into orbit by
the U.S. Department of Defense. Military action was the original intent for GPS,
but in the 1980s, the U.S. government decided to allow the GPS program to be used
by civilians. The satellite data is free and works anywhere in the world.
• GSM MODULE
• A GSM modem is a specialized type of modem which accepts a SIM card, and
operates over a subscription to a mobile operator, just like a mobile phone. From
the mobile operator perspective, a GSM modem looks just like a mobile
phone. When a GSM modem is connected to a computer, this allows the computer
to use the GSM modem to communicate over the mobile network. While these
GSM modems are most frequently used to provide mobile internet connectivity,
many of them can also be used for sending and receiving SMS and MMS messages.
• PASSIVE INFRARED SENSOR (PIR)
• A passive infrared sensor (PIR sensor) is an electronic sensor that
measures infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its field of view. They are
most often used in PIR-based motion detectors. PIR sensors are commonly used in
security alarms and automatic lighting applications.PIR sensors detect general
movement, but do not give information on who or what moved. For that purpose,
an imaging IR sensor is required.PIR sensors are commonly called simply "PIR", or
sometimes "PID", for "passive infrared detector". The term passive refers to the fact
that PIR devices do not radiate energy for detection purposes. They work entirely
by detecting infrared radiation (radiant heat) emitted by or reflected from objects.
• DC MOTOR
• A DC motor is any of a class of rotary electrical machines that converts direct
current electrical energy into mechanical energy. The most common types rely on
the forces produced by magnetic fields. Nearly all types of DC motors have some
internal mechanism, either electromechanical or electronic; to periodically change
the direction of current flow in part of the motor.
• MQ135 SENSOR
• Air quality sensor for detecting a wide range of gases, including NH3, NOx,
alcohol, benzene, smoke and CO2. Ideal for use in office or factory. MQ135 gas
sensor has high sensitivity to Ammonia, Sulfide and Benze steam, also sensitive to
smoke and other harmful gases. It is with low cost and particularly suitable for Air
quality monitoring application.
• CAMERA
• A camera is an optical instrument used to capture an image. At their most
basic, cameras are sealed boxes (the camera body) with a small hole (the aperture)
that allows light in to capture an image on a light-sensitive surface (usually
photographic film or a digital sensor). Cameras have various mechanisms to control
how the light falls onto the light-sensitive surface. Lenses focus the light entering
the camera, the size of the aperture can be widened or narrowed to let more or less
light into the camera, and a shutter mechanism determines the amount of time the
photo-sensitive surface is exposed to the light. The still image camera is the main
instrument in the art of photography and captured images may be reproduced later
as a part of the process of photography, digital imaging, photographic printing. The
similar artistic fields in the moving image camera domain are film, videography,
and cinematography.
• IR SENSOR
• IR sensor is an electronic device, that emits the light in order to sense some
object of the surroundings. An IR sensor can measure the heat of an object as well
as detects the motion. Usually, in the infrared spectrum, all the objects radiate some
form of thermal radiation. These types of radiations are invisible to our eyes, but
infrared sensor can detect these radiations.
• CONCLUSION
• In this project, we comprise effectively designed vehicle accident detection
and tracking system by using GSM and GPS. When accident occurs, it senses by
PUSH ON SWITCHES. The coordinates of location of accident obtained by GPS,
are sent via GSM network to user defined mobile number. It is the fact that
implementation of system will increase cost of vehicle but it is better to have some
percent safety rather than having no percent of safety.. The proposed method is
verified to be highly beneficial for the automotive industry. The proposed system
can also be used for traffic inference and accidents inspection in the country by
health department with slight modification.

  • 3. ABSTRACT • The main purpose of our system is to make online transaction more secure and user- friendly. Here we are using Fingerprint scanning biometric and iris scanning to provide access to ATM machine. Data of a fingerprint and iris is stored in Aadhar database. Bank provide authentication to the customer that can be access while performing transaction process. If the fingerprint and iris match is found in data base then transaction take place. After verification, if fingerprint and iris does not match transaction will be cancelled. Using fingerprint based ATM system user can make secure transaction. Biometric can be used to identify physical and behavioral characteristics of user fingerprints. There are many biometric devices like iris detection, face recognition, fingerprint. In our Project, we are using fingerprint biometrics and iris detection. Users fingerprint are scanned using biometric, eye ball are scanned through camera and stored in database. All fingerprints have unique characteristics and patterns. Fingerprint biometrics and camera are easy to use, cheap and most suitable for everyone. Characteristics of fingerprint and iris vary from person to person. Fingerprint and iris is a unique identity of user.

  • 6. Topic : VEHICLE POSITION AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION USING MULTISENSOR, GSM, GPS TECHNOLOGY
  • 7. ABSTRACT • Now a days, the major part of the accidents are due to inappropriate driving by the drivers. Driving is a complex task. Any lapse in concentration increases the risk of the vehicle being involved in a crash. Driving while using a hand held mobile phone can cause both physical and mental distraction, putting themselves and others at risk and lot of accidents due to drunken driving, Rash driving. First is to automatically lock the motor of the vehicle with the use of microcontroller, if any alcoholic person tries to drive the car/bus/any other. Second is to control of using hand-held electronic device while driving the vehicle through PIR sensor. Third is for speed indication of over speeding vehicle using Infrared sensor. Fourth is mechanical system (MEMS) sensor will detects the signal of accident happen sends the alert message through the GSM and GPS technology in mobile including the location to police control room or a rescue team. So the police can immediately trace the location through the GPS, after receiving the information. Fifth application is lively can monitor and control the vehicle though IOT technique on the server if anyone theft the vehicle.
  • 9. • INTRODUCTION • The beginning of technology has also increased the traffic hazards and the road accidents. Due to the lack of best emergency facilities available in our country the lives of the people are under high risk. An automatic alarm device for vehicles is introduced in this paper which sends the essential information to the medical salvage team within a few seconds of an accident. This device can sense accidents and sends an alert message to rescue teams in significantly less time which will help in saving the lives of the people. The attentive message contains the geographical coordinates, time and angle in which the accident has occurred. In cases where there is no casualty the message can be terminated with the help of a switch in order to avoid wasting the valuable time of the rescue team. When an accident occurs it is detected with facilitate of a sensor which activates the device, the sensor gives its output to the microcontroller. The microcontroller sends the alert message automatically to the police station and the relatives of the person. The message is sent throughout the GSM module and the location of the accident is detected with the help of the GPS module. Consequently with this project execution we can identify the position of the vehicle where the accident has occurred so that we can give the first aid as early as possible.
  • 10. • PROPOSED SYSTEM • In this project while a car met an accident, at that time the accident will be detected by the vibration sensor or accelerometer. An accelerometer can be used in a car alarm application so that risky driving can be detected. It can be used as a crash or rollover detector of the vehicle through and after a crash. With signals from an accelerometer, a severe accident can be acknowledged. According to this assignment when a motor vehicle meets with an accident instantly Vibration sensor will sense the signal or if a car rolls over, a Micro electro mechanical system (MEMS) sensor will detects the specific signal and sends it to ARM controller. Immediately microcontroller sends the signal to GPS module to give the exact value of the geographical coordinates which contains the value of longitude, latitude and altitude. After that the microcontroller sends the alert message through the GSM MODEM including the coordinates value of GPS to the medical rescue team and a police control room. Then the medical help center will conform the location of the accident by analyzing the co- ordinates value of GPS on a map. Once the medical help center get the location of accident, it will inform the medical rescue team which in near to the location of the accident so that the injured party can get the treatment as fast as possible. Also our system will send the message to the police control room so that their required investigation can be done in very less time and the medical rescue team is allowed to provide the treatment to the injured party.
  • 11. • POWER SUPPLY A power supply is an electronic device that supplies electric energy to an electrical load. The primary function of a power supply is to convert one form of electrical energy to another and, as a result, power supplies are sometimes referred to as electric power converters. Some power supplies are discrete, stand-alone devices, whereas others are built into larger devices along with their loads. Examples of the latter include power supplies found in desktop computers and consumer electronics devices.
  • 12. • TRANSFORMER A transformer is a static electrical device that transfers electrical energy between two or more circuits. A varying current in one coil of the transformer produces a varying magnetic flux, which, in turn, induces a varying electromotive force across a second coil wound around the same core. Electrical energy can be transferred between the two coils, without a metallic connection between the two circuits. Faraday's law of induction discovered in 1831 described the induced voltage effect in any coil due to changing magnetic flux encircled by the coil. Transformers are used for increasing or decreasing the alternating voltages in electric power applications, and for coupling the stages of signal processing circuits. Since the invention of the first constant-potential transformer in 1885, transformers have become essential for the transmission, distribution, and utilization of alternating current electric power. A wide range of transformer designs is encountered in electronic and electric power applications. Transformers range in size from RF transformers less than a cubic centimeter in volume, to units weighing hundreds of tons used to interconnect the power grid.

  • 16. • LCD A liquid-crystal display (LCD) is a flat panel display, electronic visual display, or video display that uses the light modulating properties of liquid crystals. Liquid crystals do not emit light directly. LCDs are available to display arbitrary images (as in a general-purpose computer display) or fixed images which can be displayed or hidden, such as preset words, digits, and 7-segment displays as in a digital clock. They use the same basic technology, except that arbitrary images are made up of a large number of small pixels, while other displays have larger elements.
  • 17. • LED A light-emitting diode (LED) is a two-lead semiconductor light source. It is a pn- junction diode, which emits light when activated.]When a suitable voltage is applied to the leads, electrons are able to recombine with electron holes within the device, releasing energy in the form of photons. This effect is called electroluminescence, and the color of the light is determined by the energy band gap of the semiconductor.
  • 18. • GPS MODULE • A GPS navigation device is a device that accurately calculates geographical location by receiving information from GPS satellites. Initially it was used by the United States military, but now most receivers are in automobiles and smart phones. The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of a minimum of 24, but currently 30, satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense. Military action was the original intent for GPS, but in the 1980s, the U.S. government decided to allow the GPS program to be used by civilians. The satellite data is free and works anywhere in the world.
  • 19. • GSM MODULE • A GSM modem is a specialized type of modem which accepts a SIM card, and operates over a subscription to a mobile operator, just like a mobile phone. From the mobile operator perspective, a GSM modem looks just like a mobile phone. When a GSM modem is connected to a computer, this allows the computer to use the GSM modem to communicate over the mobile network. While these GSM modems are most frequently used to provide mobile internet connectivity, many of them can also be used for sending and receiving SMS and MMS messages.
  • 20. • PASSIVE INFRARED SENSOR (PIR) • A passive infrared sensor (PIR sensor) is an electronic sensor that measures infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its field of view. They are most often used in PIR-based motion detectors. PIR sensors are commonly used in security alarms and automatic lighting applications.PIR sensors detect general movement, but do not give information on who or what moved. For that purpose, an imaging IR sensor is required.PIR sensors are commonly called simply "PIR", or sometimes "PID", for "passive infrared detector". The term passive refers to the fact that PIR devices do not radiate energy for detection purposes. They work entirely by detecting infrared radiation (radiant heat) emitted by or reflected from objects.
  • 21. • DC MOTOR • A DC motor is any of a class of rotary electrical machines that converts direct current electrical energy into mechanical energy. The most common types rely on the forces produced by magnetic fields. Nearly all types of DC motors have some internal mechanism, either electromechanical or electronic; to periodically change the direction of current flow in part of the motor.
  • 22. • MQ135 SENSOR • Air quality sensor for detecting a wide range of gases, including NH3, NOx, alcohol, benzene, smoke and CO2. Ideal for use in office or factory. MQ135 gas sensor has high sensitivity to Ammonia, Sulfide and Benze steam, also sensitive to smoke and other harmful gases. It is with low cost and particularly suitable for Air quality monitoring application.
  • 23. • CAMERA • A camera is an optical instrument used to capture an image. At their most basic, cameras are sealed boxes (the camera body) with a small hole (the aperture) that allows light in to capture an image on a light-sensitive surface (usually photographic film or a digital sensor). Cameras have various mechanisms to control how the light falls onto the light-sensitive surface. Lenses focus the light entering the camera, the size of the aperture can be widened or narrowed to let more or less light into the camera, and a shutter mechanism determines the amount of time the photo-sensitive surface is exposed to the light. The still image camera is the main instrument in the art of photography and captured images may be reproduced later as a part of the process of photography, digital imaging, photographic printing. The similar artistic fields in the moving image camera domain are film, videography, and cinematography.
  • 24. • IR SENSOR • IR sensor is an electronic device, that emits the light in order to sense some object of the surroundings. An IR sensor can measure the heat of an object as well as detects the motion. Usually, in the infrared spectrum, all the objects radiate some form of thermal radiation. These types of radiations are invisible to our eyes, but infrared sensor can detect these radiations.
  • 25. • CONCLUSION • In this project, we comprise effectively designed vehicle accident detection and tracking system by using GSM and GPS. When accident occurs, it senses by PUSH ON SWITCHES. The coordinates of location of accident obtained by GPS, are sent via GSM network to user defined mobile number. It is the fact that implementation of system will increase cost of vehicle but it is better to have some percent safety rather than having no percent of safety.. The proposed method is verified to be highly beneficial for the automotive industry. The proposed system can also be used for traffic inference and accidents inspection in the country by health department with slight modification.
