2. ABSTRACT
• Aim of the project is to automatically detect a traffic
accident.
• By means of satellite navigation system, first aid
rescuers can accurately locate the place.

4. MEMS
• MEMS is apart of the semiconductor family named
(Micro electro mechanical systems).
• Accelerometers can measure acceleration in 2
dimensional or 3 dimensional spaces.
• The free scale MMA7260Q is a 3-axis accelerometer,
meaning it can detect a gravity force in X, Y and Z
axes.
5. ARM7
• LPC2148 is a 64 pin IC
• It provides 8 kb to 40kb of on-chip static RAM and
32kb to 512kb of on-chip flash memory
• Operating voltage I 2.7v to 3.3v.
6. GPS
• Features:
• SiRF star high performance GPS Chip Set
• Very high sensitivity (Tracking Sensitivity)
• Extremely fast TTFF (Time To First Fix) at low
signal level
• Compact size (25.4mm * 25.4 mm * 3.3mm) suitable
for space-sensitive application
7. GSM
• This module can be easily interfaced with it AT
commands over TTL serial interface.
• It operates at 900MHZ or 1,800MHZ.
• Current Consumption in normal operation
250mA, can rise up to 1Amp while transmission.
8. AT COMMANDS
• AT+Cmgr= 1------------To read received messages
• AT+Cmgs=“phone no”--------To send message
9. POWER SUPPLY
• In this first a step-down transformer used to step
down A.C. 230Volts to A.C. 12Volts.
• This is given as input to the bridge diode circuit
which gives a D.C Voltage.
10. SERIAL COMMUNICATION
• Operates From a Single 5-V Power Supply
• Operates Up To 120 kbit/s
• Low Supply Current ...8 mA Typical
