My role as an Advanced Critical Care Practitioner (ACCP) involves me working with patients with
multi organ failure and more often respiratory failure following prolonged periods of ventilation and
lung insult. ARDS has been studied in a variety of settings since it was first introduced by Dr
Ashbaugh (Ashbaugh et al, 1967), at which time mortality was between 60% and 70%, however, the
most effective way to ventilate patients with ARDS is still being researched. Despite this ongoing
research into the management of ARDS, mortality remains at 35 40%. It is thought this is linked to
lack of knowledge and evidence regarding the pathological process of ARDS.
ARDS can be defined as an acute decrease in the ratio of arterial oxygen partial pressure to fractional

the tilt up panels to be cast onto.
An engineer is then required to set out boundaries and help in the set up of formwork, which is then
erected in the shape of the panels. This includes making space for openings such as doors and
windows within the design. Formwork is positioned for all panels, in a jigsaw like formation on the
slab, as to allow for steady project flow. Formwork is to be created to such a height as to allow for
multiple castings to be made on top of each other.
The slab is then coated within formwork with a bond breaker as to allow for the most comfort when
tilting up the panels.
As in regular concrete construction, reinforcing is positioned where necessary.
Once everything is positioned as required, concrete is then ready to be poured. When the concrete has
been poured, manual labour is required to trowel for a smooth finish, either by hand or machine
trowel. This can leave a smooth finish, or textured, but must be compliant with designs for
consistency.
With the removal of formwork, and last minute detailing to the panels, they are ready to be lifted into
place.

with hydrogen peroxide in presence of
5, 10, 15, 20 tetrakis (p sulfonatophenyl)porphinatomanganese (III) chloride as catalyst in alkaline
aqueous solution. The catalytic oxidation afforded
2 hydroxy 1,4 naphthoquinone in high yield (95 %). The effect of reaction parameters on the catalytic
activity and the yield of HNQ have been investigated. UV vis spectral analysis during oxidation
reaction indicated that oxomanganese intermediate O=Mn(IV)TPPSCl was the active species in the
oxidation reaction.

experiment. The Model Driven Engineering (MDE) methodology provides a framework and strategy

platform specific executable simulation experiment scripts. Experiment design modeling is introduced
for configurable experiment synthesis and execution. Feature oriented variability modeling is used to

There are three different treatments for Hodgkin and most patients respond well, chemotherapy,
radiotherapy and stem cell transplant ( Leukaemia amp; Lymphoma Research ). Chemotherapy is the
main combination of anti cancer drugs. To have the best result these drugs need to be taken in a
sequence. Due to specific diagnosis and stages of their disease patients will be given different
protocols. Radiotherapy for some patients could be used along with chemotherapy. This uses high
