The man that comes out of the television is being represented as rebellious, evil, nasty, scary and
dangerous. There are also elements of unusualness, and he comes across as quite psychotic. Just by

CO2 Evolved due to Temperature s Effect on Yeast Fermentation of Glucose
Abstract
This experiment measured the amount of CO2 evolved based on yeast fermentation of glucose. It was
hypothesized that at room temperature, about 22 degrees Celsius, less CO2 would be produced than
when tested at 37 degrees Celsius. In order to determine the amount of CO2 evolved, an experiment
was set up involving yeast, glucose, deionized water, and heat. To begin the experiment, six
fermentation flasks were acquired. Six milliliters of 10% glucose was pipetted into each flask,
followed by 10 mL of deionized water and 8 mL of the prepared yeast solution. After each flask was
placed at the appropriate temperatures necessary for the experiment, the production of CO2 started to
be monitored. Data was recorded consecutively every two minutes over a time period of twenty
minutes, and recorded in a data chart. The average CO2 production at 37 degrees Celsius and 22
degrees Celsius was determined from the t test results. According to these results, the average amount
of CO2 produced after twenty minutes at 37 degrees Celsius was 123 millimeters, and the average

In this experiment, the rate of fermentation was increased while at higher temperatures due to the
increased rate of enzymatic activity. Enzymatic activity due to the level of kinetic energy also plays a
significant role in the rate of yeast fermentation of glucose (Gale, T., 2006). Given that enzymes are
more active at higher temperatures, this means that fermentation occurs at higher temperatures as well.

I have come a long way on my life journey to be here in New York to study art therapy. Prior to this
study, I was a graphic designer. Today, I introduce myself as an artist and a prospective art therapist. I
grew up in South Korea, that is mono cultural, and spent my first 25 years in Seoul, the capital city,

Although I was not an outstanding student, I was confident with my grades in art classes. An art
teacher I met in high school inspired me to be a designer. Yet a design major was somewhat
distinguished from the art that I pursued. Her art class had a surpassing influence in my life. In a
traditional art class of a Korean high school, students normally learned to draw a plaster model, an
oriental painting, and a watercolor still life painting, which were boring for teenagers. They were
evaluated by their depiction skills and techniques, and competence in using art materials. However,
the instruction of the art teacher in my high school was unique. She obtained permission from the
school and to modify the curriculum for the students in order to get them motivated. She truly wanted
to encourage and excite her students through her art classes. As adolescents felt that, design was
attractive at that time. The art teacher suggested a new design art curriculum instead of the boring
instructions. This, T shirt and textile designs, drew students attention even before we started the
process, many students participated in, and enjoyed, the art class. We created silk screen printing on T
shirts and tie dyed handkerchiefs in her class. This instruction also facilitated an atmosphere of
communication. Silk screen printing required at least two people, therefore, we partnered and
cooperated together. While tie dying, students actively interacted, sharing various colors and produced
impressive handkerchiefs. The class was noisy yet everyone was focused and enjoyed their artwork; it
was close to play , rather than an art class, and enough to capture students interest, student who had
only used paint and brushed previously. The walls of the classrooms were decorated by splendid
handkerchiefs. Unlike the art we had learned in traditional art class, this was exciting and practical.

Abstract Reaction Time is the interval of time between the application of a stimulus and the detection
of a response and has been thought to differ based upon the effects of modality and warning signals. In
the Reaction Time experiment a total of 24 students from the University of Cincinnati participated in

experiments including: simple reaction time and disjunctive reaction time. During simple reaction
time a subject must react to the presence of the response stimulus, such as the process that occurred
with the hot water streaming from the faucet. Disjunctive reaction time occurs when a subject will
have more than one choice of responses to a stimulus. Therefore, a subject must not only react to the
response signal, but they must also identify which response is appropriate. In this situation, reaction
time delay may be attributed to the process of identifying which response is appropriate. Disjunctive
reaction time is used for the purposes of the Reaction Time experiment with the use of modality and
warning signals as independent variables. Though the two types of reaction time experiments differ,
both simple reaction time and disjunctive reaction time undergo similar processes including: sensory

What may be the most noticeable characteristic of these parents is their over involvement in their child
s academics. They see their child s school work and academic activities as something that is for the

argument, I defined abortion as the deliberate removal of a fetus from the mother s womb to result in

The theatre seat around 140 audience member. The Theatre is a bit small, I wish the theatre was bigger
because I know that cast would have made it more interactive. Some of the actors out shine others in
their performation but they were able to create a play that I am sure I will remember forever. The
costume were made to make your mind follow the story, and connect with the stories being told. My
favorite aspect of the play was the lighting, because it help transport me to new worlds.Overall, the
play was a very well done production filled with many life lessons, and is one that every person
