The document outlines Ellie Warmingham's pre-production plans for an animated game, including choosing a neon-lit, nighttime city style with varied fonts. Potential issues like eyestrain are addressed, and the schedule allocates each day for background, platforms, character animation, items, and sound editing in Photoshop, Piskel, and Premier Pro.
2. Style sheet
I would like to try and set my
game in a neon-like city set at
night. I researched and looked
through different styles and
designs other people had done
to get a sense of what I wanted
to do.
I chose a mix of different fonts
that I experimented with and
thought would go well with my
game. I didn’t want them all to
be too similar and I wanted to
have a variety so I have more
options.
I went for more neon-like colours because of
the type of environment I would like to try and
go for. I think it would be nice for my game to
be set in a dark area, so the neon colours can
stand out more and set the theme.
