what was it’s impact.
• He told us that when he was
young , he used to work with an
NGO as a volunteer and used to
help old people who lived in
old-age homes in Ahmedabad
as a part of his community
service.
• He mentioned a
story about an old
man who was
suffering from
Alzheimer and
living in that same
old-age home.
HIS STORY ….

about his best friends as a part of the
disease and was really upset when they all
were trying to talk to him and he wasn’t able
to recognize them.
• Seeing the old man cry his heart melted and
he tried to convince him the whole day and
try his best to reduce his sorrow.
• He told me that after watching him consult a
man suffering from Alzheimer’s the people
around him saw him as a humanitarian and
started respecting the thoughts of old

cinematographer working in
movies Mr. Pankaj Roy.
• When we asked him what
was the one selfless deed he
ever did in his life. He quite
frankly replied that he was
always a selfish person and
never really did anything
which contributed to the
society.
• Then we asked him whether he
knew anyone personally who did
any selfless deeds and he replied
without any hesitation, “ My
brother” .
• He told us how his brother
worked in the army and the time
when he was home he used to
give away free flyers of
information about various kinds
of diseases around the world just
for the sake of awareness of that
particular disease.
HIS STORY ….
• He also mentioned that he was a guest lecturer for the Anti-drug
program of the central government of India.
• Then we asked him that although he does this work but he is still
getting paid so how is it a selfless deed?
• He defended that by saying that he used to make those flyers on
his own and give them away for free just so that a person
suffering from a particular disease might not be misinterpreted
as MAD or a psycho.
• He also added that he has been a true canine-lover since his
childhood days and till date he has had over 14 dogs as pets and
he is only 34 years old.
• I found this interview fresh and honest and it taught me new
ways of contributor qualities in a person.
HIS CONTRIBUTOR QUALITIES
• Honesty.
• He was in the army and
that itself shows that
he is a great
contributor.
• His ability to share
knowledge with others.
CONCLUSION
• It’s not difficult to be a
contributor.
• We should come out of our
comfort zone and go and
explore new paths.
• We should help the needy .
• We should not be selfish
and be patient .
