THIS IS HOW HE DESCRIBES
HIMSELF-
A rational down to earth person having
the orientation for taking life positively
as it comes and along with that trying to
improve continuously..learning from
everything and anything..
A joust person who believes in making
people happy…
Ready for challenges
Being at the topmost position of the
institution… his work demands everyday
challenges like completing the work
on time and managing the
people..monitoring activities..as
well as addressing the problems
of students and the teaching
staff…
Taking challenges as opportunities is always
a contributor’s biggest strength…
Sir believes that if you be positive and your
endeavors are correct..you’ll get positive
people around you.
Sir was appointed as assistant professor on
13th oct..just after one month he became
the rank 1 professor and directly got
selected for the post of principal…his
persistent efforts paid off..
When asked about his biggest
challenge sir says-
“Actually nothing..if you are
keen to get
something..hurdles can’t
stop you..believe in working
hard..but leave the results
on almighty..he knows better
what is good for us..”
“I remember an instance… when I
was studying in IIT Bombay, my
dad got a paralysis attack… he
was immediately hospitalized..at
that time being hopeful..being
positive and trusting god..was
most important..
1st semester was again another
challenge..coming from a
gujarati medium school…”
For any organization it is very important
to develop people and their abilities. If
we take ourselves as a part of the
organization and not as a head, then
we can surely create a positivity. Sir
finds himself as a part of the college.
He feels that he is because of the
people. Along with that he believes
that he should lead by example so he
should also improve.
The problem solving attitude..
People may not be always supportive..
The best way is to-
 identify the motivational factor for a
person for that time
Identify the capacity , capability, and
attitude of every person because everyone
has different strengths depending on their
environment, education and experience
At the end if things still don’t work out
you need to use your authority but- in the
interest of work..
Even when he doesn’t get the required
support from the authorities concerned
the takes it positively.
Its always important to access their
behavior. Is it that we are not able to
perform according to their expectations.
If still they are stubborn then keep
performing your duty with highest
sincerity.
Professional abilities.
Ability to work with people.
 Multitasking
 Problem solving attitude
 Concern for others
When the interview was going on there was a
call from a 8th semester student on sir’s cell.
He did not receive his hall ticket from gtu
because of paying the exam fees late. Sir
helped him all the way round for everything.
He said he will receive full support from the
college. It wasn’t his duty though..
Vision
Supportive
Able to guide by example
Take initiative
Able to share success
A 21 years old student from shantilal shah
engineering college suffered from a heart
attack on 25th April ,2015. though it did not
happen inside the college sir took it as his
moral responsibility and went to the
hospital. He consoled the boy’s parents. He
talked with the boy and ensured him not to
worry about the upcoming exams. As the
boy wasn’t from Bhavnagar sir even talked
to the medical authorities and told them to
do the best possible treatment.
Sir shared about some of his college life
‘masti’-
“I was the sports secretary of my college.. I
participated in many cultural events.. I
did representations against principals..we
did bunk few classes..(not much)..we
were agitated for delayed exams..we
were agitated for declaring results
beforehand..
But I came across wonderful teachers..”
It was a very learning
experience… knowing
his ways of life.. His
sprit..his
dedication..his
abilities..his concern
for others..always a
learner and a down to
earth man…his work
speaks..
