This document proposes a cross-layer design approach called CLPC (Cross Layer Power Control) to improve power control in mobile ad hoc networks. The CLPC approach allows for interaction between the physical, MAC, and network layers to dynamically control transmission power based on received signal strength values. It was tested using the NS2 simulator and found to perform better than AODV in terms of packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, and routing overhead. The CLPC approach aims to find reliable routes between source and destination nodes by averaging RSS values and adjusting transmission power accordingly.
EFFICIENT REBROADCASTING USING TRUSTWORTHINESS OF NODE WITH NEIGHBOUR KNOWLED...ijiert bestjournal
Mobile Ad hoc network is an infrastructure less communication network with limited resources. To maintain virtual
infrastructure for communication broadcasting mechanisms is used. Due to lack of energy efficiency in Mobile Ad
hoc network, there is a need to develop an efficient broadcasting model which enhances energy efficiency. Also
nodes with malicious behaviour cause an internal threat that disobeys the standard and degrades the performance of
routing protocols. This paper introduced an enhanced rebroadcasting algorithm, where rebroadcasting decision for
next hop is immediate or delayed on the basis of trust value and energy level of particular node. This approach helps
to decrease number of rebroadcast, energy consumption and also enhances security. The decision is made with trust
value associated with node, their remaining energy and total number of uncovered nodes.

Ad hoc networks are collections of mobile nodes communicating with each other using wireless media without any fixed infrastructure. During both route discovery and traversal of route-reply packets from destination to source,
broadcast of packets is required which incurs huge message cost. The present article deals with the message cost
reduction during transmission of route-reply from destination to source. Also the redundancy that is visible within the 2-hop neighborhood of a node is minimized during broadcasting of route-reply. This improves the average lifetime of network nodes by decreasing the possibility of network partition. The scheme of 2NI can be used with any reactive routing protocol in MANETs.
Quadrant Based DIR in CWin Adaptation Mechanism for Multihop Wireless NetworkIJCI JOURNAL
In Multihop Wireless Networks, traffic forwarding capability of each node varies according to its level of contention. Each node can yield its channel access opportunity to its neighbouring nodes, so that all the nodes can evenly share the channel and have similar forwarding capability. In this manner the wireless channel is utilized effectively, which is achieved using Contention Window Adaptation Mechanism (CWAM). This mechanism achieves a higher end-to-end throughout but consumes the network power to a higher level. So, a newly proposed algorithm Quadrant- Based Directional Routing Protocol (Q-DIR) is implemented as a cross-layer with CWAM, to reduce the total network power consumption through limited flooding and also reduce the routing overheads, which eventually increases overall network throughput. This algorithm limits the broadcast region to a quadrant where the source node and the destination nodes are located. Implementation of the algorithm is done in Linux based NS-2 simulator
Hexagonal based Clustering for Reducing Rebroadcasts in Mobile Ad Hoc NetworksIJTET Journal
Abstract— In mobile ad hoc networks multihop routing is performed in order to communicate the packets from the source to destination. The nodes within these networks are dynamic due which frequent path change occurs which can cause frequent link breakages and induces route discoveries. These route discoveries can introduce overhead in terms of contention, collision and rebroadcasts which are non-negligible. Here, the paper discusses a hexagonal based clustering for reducing rebroadcasts thus maximizing the lifetime of the networks and providing coverage area thus reducing the end – end delays.

Performance Evaluation and Comparison of Ad-Hoc Source Routing ProtocolsNarendra Singh Yadav
Mobile ad hoc network is a reconfigurable network of mobile nodes connected by multi-hop wireless links and capable of operating without any fixed infrastructure support. In order to facilitate communication within such self-creating, self-organizing and self-administrating network, a dynamic routing protocol is needed. The primary goal of such an ad hoc network routing protocol is to discover and establish a correct and efficient route between a pair of nodes so that messages may be delivered in a timely manner. Route construction should be done with a minimum of overhead and bandwidth consumption. This paper examines two routing protocols, both on-demand source routing, for mobile ad hoc networks– the Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), an flat architecture based and the Cluster Based Routing Protocol (CBRP), a cluster architecture based and evaluates both routing protocols in terms of packet delivery fraction normalized routing load, average end to end delay by varying speed of nodes, traffic sources and mobility.

Mobile Ad-hoc networks are self-configuring multi-hop wireless networks where, the structure of the network changes dynamically. Because of the nodes in the MANET are mobile and battery operated, energy optimization is one of the major constraints in the MANET. Failure of some nodes operation can greatly impede the performance of the network and even affect the basic availability of the network, i.e., routing. To improve the lifetime of these networks can be improving the energy levels of the individual nodes of the network. This paper presents an analysis of the effects of different design choices for this on- demand routing protocols DSR and AODV in wireless ad hoc networks. In this paper, the energy efficient strategies are implemented in the AODV and DSR protocols to improve the life time of the Mobile ad hoc network. The CBEER-NN is developed using the existing DSR protocol and the AO- EEDTR is developed using the existing AODV protocol. GloMoSIM simulator is used to simulate the proposed MANET environment. This paper also compares the existing DSR and AODV protocols with proposed CBEER- NN and AO-EEDTR protocols. From the simulated results, this paper concludes that the proposed CBEER-NN and AO- EEDTR protocols are improving the life time of the network by improving the average residual energy of the nodes over the existing DSR and AO-EEDTR protocols.

Cross layer design for power control and linkIJCNCJournal
Frequent changes in network topology due to mobility and limited battery power of the mobile devices are the key challenges in the adhoc networks. The depletion of power source may cause early unavailability of nodes and thus links in the network. The mobility of nodes causes frequent routes breaks and adversely affects the required performance of the applications. We propose a cross layer design for the dynamic power control protocol and link prediction (DPCPLP) that provides a combined solution for power conservation as well as link availability. This combines the effect of optimum transmit power and received signal strength based link availability estimation with AODV routing protocol using cross layer approach.
This method proposes to use optimum transmit power for transmitting the packets to a neighboring node to
increase the battery life of adhoc nodes and received signal strength based link prediction to increase the
availability of the links. In this paper, the transmit power and received signal strength of the packets are
cross-layer interaction parameters to provide the combined solution for power conservation and reliable
route formation with increased availability of links and thus the routes amongst sources and destinations. Further, this increases network and nodes’ lifetime and capacity. It improves throughput and packet delivery ratio by spatial reuse, prior prediction of link breaks and initiating the route repair. It also reduces
end-to-end delay and power consumption by use of optimum transmit power. Through simulations, we have
shown that our proposed protocol shows better performance.
Influence of Clustering on the Performance of MobileAd Hoc Networks (MANETs)Narendra Singh Yadav
Clustering is an important research area for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) as it increases the capacity of network, reduces the routing overhead and makes the network more scalable in the presence of both high mobility and a large number of mobile nodes. Routing protocols based on flat topology are not scalable because of their built-in characteristics. However, clustering cause overhead which consumes considerable bandwidth, drain mobile nodes energy quickly, likely cause congestion, collision and data delay in larger networks. This paper uses an implementation of the Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), an flat architecture based and the Cluster Based Routing Protocol (CBRP), a cluster architecture based routing protocol to examine the influence of clustering on the performance of mobile ad hoc networks. This paper evaluates channel utilization and control overhead as a function of number of nodes per sq. km to show the effect of clustering. Simulation results show that in high mobility scenarios, CBRP outperforms DSR. CBRP scales well with increasing number of nodes.
Nearest Adjacent Node Discovery Scheme for Routing Protocol in Wireless Senso...IOSR Journals
The broad significance of Wireless Sensor Networks is in most emergency and disaster rescue
domain. The routing process is the main challenges in the wireless sensor network due to lack of physical links.
The objective of routing is to find optimum path which is used to transferring packets from source node to
destination node. Routing should generate feasible routes between nodes and send traffic along the selected path
and also achieve high performance. This paper presents a nearest adjacent node scheme based on shortest path
routing algorithm. It is plays an important role in energy conservation. It finds the best location of nearest
adjacent nodes by involving the least number of nodes in transmission of data and set large number of nodes to
sleep in idle mode. Based on simulation result we shows the significant improvement in energy saving and
enhance the life of the network
A comparative study in wireless sensor networksijwmn
Sensor networks consist of a large number of small, low-powered wireless nodes with limited computation,
communication, and sensing abilities, in a battery-powered sensor network, energy and communication
bandwidth are a precious resources. Thus, there is a need to adapt the networking process to match the
application in order to minimize the resources consumed and extend the life of the network. In this paper,
we introduce a comparative study in different routing algorithms that propose vital solutions to the most
important issues that should be taken into account when designing wireless network which are reliability,
lifetime, communication bandwidth, transmission rand, and finally the limited energy issue, so we will
introduce their algorithms and discuss how did they propose to solve such of these challenges and finally
we will do some evaluation to each approach.
In wireless sensor network energy cutback is considered as a principle intensive challenge which is studied largely in the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) literature. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are pertinent in numerous arenas where WSNs may be used for sensing, ciphering, and communication elements that give a user or administrator the ability to instrument, observe, and retort to events and phenomena in a specific environment. But sensor devices are resource curbed, positioned in an open and unattended environment, different types of attacks and conventional techniques against these attacks are not desirable due to the resource constrained nature of these kinds of networks. An energy-balanced routing method based on forward-aware factor (FAF-EBRM) in which the next-hop node is elected according to the awareness of link weight and forward energy density. FAF-EBRM is compared with Ladder Diffusion Algorithm, which balances the energy utilization, sustain the function era and guarantees high QoS of WSN. The FAF-EBRM is proposed with Secure Routing Layer (SRL) Protocol which ensures that the secure data transmission is achieved without releasing private sensor readings and without introducing significant overhead on the battery-limited sensors.
Analysis of different hierarchical routing protocols of wireless sensor networkeSAT Journals
Abstarct Wireless sensored network is nowadays very popular in the field of research because world is now switching faster from wired communication to the wireless communication. It is used in environment monitoring, habitat monitoring, battlefield etc. WSN is made up of tiny sensor nodes which senses the data and communicate to the base station via other nodes.WSN networks are data-centric rather than node centric. So, main issues in WSN networks are energy consumption of network, lifetime of a network, delay, latency, quality of service etc.WSN has defined many routing protocols for the network. The main challenge in WSN is to design a routing protocol which gives the maximum energy efficient routing because nodes in sensored network are equipped with the battery. So, as time passes the battery of nodes will decrease so in turn network lifetime will decreases. There are many routing protocols which are classified as their working and their application to different conditions. This paper describes a brief information about routing protocols. The main focus of this paper is to give the comparison of different hierarchical routing protocols. Keywords: Leach, Pegasis,Teen/Apteen, WSN

When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Automobile Management System Project Report.pdfKamal Acharya
The proposed project is developed to manage the automobile in the automobile dealer company. The main module in this project is login, automobile management, customer management, sales, complaints and reports. The first module is the login. The automobile showroom owner should login to the project for usage. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, next form opens. If the username and password are not correct, it shows the error message.
When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.
